I *THINK* somebody tried to hack me earlier this morning. I am WAY too familiar with getting hacked...I got hacked a few times in 1998 and 1999, and not much has changed since then. Traditionally, they somehow send you a popup message that says you are being hacked... Well, since I remember it too vividly, I immediately logged off and shut down my computer (hackers can't hack you if your computer is shut off). I had to pull out my modem so I could get back on and do some other things...I turned my comp back on and I didn't have any problems...I burned two photo CD's, then shut down my comp again to plug the modem back in...

Then I immediately downloaded ZoneAlarm (it is THE thing to download if you have cable or whatever) and I've been doing fine so far. I really need to buy a virus scanner/firewall. :o

I stopped associating with hackers a long time ago...they're most rampant in chatrooms...And I don't go to any websites that encourage hacking....Ew. So I am still wondering how the hell they tried to hack me....Ugggg, this sucks. But I should be OK now :)

My sister and brother-in-law have two cats. They have an orange male named Seamus and they also have a black cat with black whiskers named Maire (pronounced "Moya").

BTW that sister is expecting. She is due on the 15th. A week after the baby is born, my mother is going over to Colorado to stay with her for a little bit and then come back. That is when she hopes to get one. I just hope my father is keen on the idea. My mother has hinted this to him and he hasn't said no or anything. But I won't hold my breath.

The Rolette County North Dakota Sheriff's department canceled the Amber Alert after the girl was found alive and well near Jamestown ND on Friday night March 5. A suspect is being questioned.

Rachel Opstadahl was abducted from her home in Rollette North Dakota on Thursday March 4.

She is 14 yrs., 5' 4", 230 lbs with long brown hair, brown eyes.

She was seen leaving Rollette in a white mini van, possibly a Chevrolet, with an unknown male and female suspect.

The male suspect was last seen wearing a dark coat and jeans. He has dark, shoulder-length hair. The female suspect has light brown hair.

If you see Rachel or have any information as to her whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Rolette County Sheriff's department at 701-477-5623 or dial 911.
