They were dangerous...What I remember about the 1970's in a child's perspective was these tiny lip gloss containers made of tin and the tops would slide; and the Scratch and Sniff stickers that my teachers used to give to her students when you were good...

I remember playing with all of the action figures, pretending like I was Princess Leia and the little neighbor boy was Han Solo, and then he'd come and kick another one of our neighbor's asses. Soooo dorky. He had Darth Vader's plastic helmet and was always saying, "Luke.. I am your father."

Those lip gloss tins were great! I had a million of 'em, not to mention the Scratch and Sniff stickers. Still a few of them around here.

About the slip n slide, many times I busted my butt on one.

My brother and I had all the action figures too; I remember collecting Star Wars bubblegum cards

I remember some dragging butt down to the Roller Rink once when Roller skating was hot; I had a pair of roller skates that looked like the sneakers that Starsky wore on Starsky and Hutch...

I heard they had to recall the slip 'n' slide scene in that movie for some REALLY stupid reason. I hope they didn't get rid of it.
