thats one of the reasons I hate the polics board so much - he's posting an article based on a bunch of stuff out-of-context, out-dated nonsense - its just plain inflammatory and unneccesary.

he's criticising Jean Cretien - the former Prime Minister, why doesn't he critique Nixon while he's at it :grr:

I figured it was him because of his typing style. But really...I could care less now. We're really not on speaking terms anymore, and we reached an agreement last year that we would leave the other alone. That ended things for good.
I'm not to good at spotting these people until they show themselves. I'm always afraid I could be making a mistake.

The first election I remember watching on TV was the one in 1992. I was still in the first grade then, about to skip up to the second grade. My teacher talked about the candidates that were running for president -- I still remember. Bill Clinton, Bob Dole and Ross Perot. We had a mock election in class, and I remember choosing Clinton. Clinton won the election shortly before I moved, and I had already been in the second grade for about two months when he was inaugurated into office in January 1993. If I am outside 30 minutes, I can prepare to be covered in bites. I hate the itching. I've got a bite on my arm that has been bothering me lately. :cuss: :grr:
I saw this tip somewhere recently...I'm trying to find it. The way I remember it is, you pour very hot water (about 120º -- make sure the water ISN'T boiling) into a Mason jar and then you screw the lid on. On the lid side, apply it to the bug bite for as long as you can stand it, usually about 30 seconds. After that, it will stop itching. :) It has something to do with what the mosquitoes inject their bites with, this supposedly breaks it up and makes it stop itching. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to.

Milky
Frothy
Vanilla Cream
Whipped Cream topping

In other words, you want a fattening cup of coffee.

I kid, I kid. I don't have any vanilla cream and I do have whipped cream, but it's frozen, unless you'd like a glob of frozen whipped cream on top of your coffee. :winkgrin You're going to have to bring your own creamer.

Sonny, it's good to know that I'm not the only person who has been collecting every TV Guide for several years. I've got you beat by a year though, I started collecting every issue in 1983. I have a few special issues from before then too. In the last few years, they've had so many issues where they have more than one cover. I usually pick the cover I want instead of buying all the covers.

Hey Doc I think I'm going senile. I've been collecting them since September 1983. It is a fun hobby to have. I have a couple from 1982-83 and I got one from April 1976 when we were in SC. Not much here either. I saw the Dukes movie yesterday and it wasn't as bad as the critics say it is, but it isn't a four-star movie by far. I didn't like the balladeer's voice and he said some of the corniest things - they should have at least gotten someone who sounded a little like Waylon Jennings to narrate the movie. Jessica Simpson doesn't have that many lines, thank goodness lol The cast did better than what I thought they would in those roles. My take on it is neutral, it was good in some ways and bad in some ways. One thing I did like about it was just like in the old series, they had several plotlines going on at once. They could have done a better job with it IMO. But it doesn't matter because I didn't have to pay to see it anyways - a free ticket came with the Dukes of Hazzard Season 3 set
