Ditto. The most recent footage of her is on the Hunter S1 DVD, filmed sometime in late '04, but I didn't really like how she looked in that one. And now, MUCH better!

One of them (Desi) NEVER EVER holds still when we try to clip his nails so we can only do it if he's sleeping but you have to do it quickly or Desi starts clawing again. And both cats have scratched up the furniture. :livid:

No he was never fixed. The last time I saw him he was with another cat and a couple kittens that looked just like him. I think he got married. :lol:

He was a wild cat he'd always come home all scratched up from being in a fight and he'd steel all the other cats food in the neighborhood. We originally got him to keep the mice away and he was in the house for about a week until he started chewing the curtains and out he went. :lol:

There is NO WAY in hell I can keep my boys off the counters. ;) :lol: Desi in particular likes to jump up on top of the cupboards (One side of the room has cupboards that don't adhere to the ceiling, so there's a ~18" gap between the top of the cupboard/ceiling and on the other side the cupboards go all the way up to the ceiling) and perch on the windowsills up on top. We have 5 windows way up at the top of the ceiling. :lol:

When I lived in my last apartment, we had cupboards that didn't go all the way up to the ceiling so Desi would jump up on the counter, up to the top of the cupboards, dash across and then jump alllll the way to the other side of the kitchen, where the coat closet and pantry were, because they were part of this weird divider that didn't go up to the ceiling so there was a good 3 feet gap between that and the ceiling. He would do that and perch on the top of the closet/pantry for a while. Crazy cat. :lol:

- They closed down Marshall Fields here in the mall at the beginning of June (I believe it's a regional department store in the Midwest). MF's former location is clear across the mall from the current Target (this is important for later).

- Next to the Target in the same mall is a region-wide sporting goods store, Scheels.

- They are opening a Super Target where Marshall Fields used to be, and the current Target will close once that is completed.

- When the Super Target opens, they will close down the regular Target and Scheels will expand its franchise. Scheels is already huge enough as it is and the current Target is huge... But when Scheels expands its franchise, it'll be a freaking MILE-LONG store. Scheels already took over a previous store location about 8-10 years ago ANNNND about two years ago, the McDonald's across from it closed down and a Scheels bike shop opened up in its place. Scheels is slowly invading the mall and now it'll have an entire corner of the mall to itself, like a department store. :eek:


Needless to say, I'm not particularly happy about that. :cuss: I'm glad about the Super Target, but still.

I never really had the lunch-table problem in school...Just get to lunch early and join one of the tables before other kids start sitting there. :)

And it doesn't help that I'm at the Mama's Family board right now (in another window) and I'm looking at the posts where people were talking about Dorothy Van dying... Dorothy played Aunt Effie on MF, and there have been a TON of people who posted on the MF board saying she died in an accident, had Parkinson's disease or committed suicide. The years vary, too...I've heard 1996 and 2002 as her dates of death. GOD GET YOUR STUPID FACTS STRAIGHT AND TELL ME EXACTLY HOW DOROTHY DIED. It's not that hard! I also asked for CONCRETE evidence of her passing there over two years ago and NOBODY has been able to prove it. That just makes me even more irritated seeing that.
