Mr. Television 08-15-2005, 02:21 AM  TJ should put up a Stooges board.
I hope so. I didn't do too bad last year considering I started late. If they have it this year, you're gonna have some tough competition.
Judging by the thread it would be more popular then some of the obscure boards.
Bring it on  I had tough competition last year. Brian Damage would have won I think if he didn't miss a week. I forget who I beat but it was only by a couple points.
Speaking of football Dallas lost last night to Arizona thanks to their HOF kicker. I wish we'd trade him to the Eagles.
Mr. Television 08-15-2005, 02:23 AM Bleh. I want to use that pic as an avatar, but I don't want the "gettyimages" logo there. :cuss:
:(
PZelda 08-15-2005, 02:28 AM Grrrr. Stupid site, when I went to some site, it asked me if I wanted to install a toolbar. HELL NO! :cuss:

 We have the reality board and the games board and those are a waste of time so I don't see why we can't have a Stooges board.
That sucks. Well, it's only preseason, they still have a few weeks to get their act together.

I know. Maybe he fell asleep at the computer.
PZelda 08-16-2005, 01:30 AM We used to have a camper and we'd go camping everyyear someplace. We went to Gettysberg once and The Blue Ridge Mountains and diferent places in VA and PA. And every year we'd make trips up to see our family in NY and PA. That was before we moved to that Hell Hole NC. :cuss:
Your trips sounds far more exciting than mine. ;) Gettysburg, pretty neat!
Good 'ole NC, and good 'ole "Hicksville"  I sure as hell don't miss Hicksville. Good riddance to them and their residents, and the same for NC. You're lucky you're not in NC, my psycho ex-best friend is there now. She contimated NC.
I remember when campers were small. Now they make campers and RV's that are practically houses on wheels. Mustn't forget a place to plug in your wireless internet and your plasma TV.

 It was already contaminated by psychos and weirdos. I'd hate to think what she did to it. She probably fit right in there.
Yea I saw the campers they have now. Ours was a lot smaller than that. We hitched it up to the back of the car. Their was No internet then but we always took our B&w tv.
PZelda 08-16-2005, 01:35 AM I know. Maybe he fell asleep at the computer.
He said he was still having trouble with his allergies, so I wouldn't be surprised either if he fell asleep at the computer.
Mr. Television 08-16-2005, 01:38 AM He said he was still having trouble with his allergies, so I wouldn't be surprised either if he fell asleep at the computer.
I hate allergies. I used to get them every summer. The pollan always agrivated me.
Mr. Television 08-16-2005, 01:41 AM Now my mouse is acting buggy.
Mr. Television 08-16-2005, 01:44 AM *wakes up from nap*
Ah, you guys missed me?
Of course. :D

Yup. I'm not too surprised she picked NC, and you're right, she does fit in there. I heard she turned into a white trash (step)mother when she moved there. Good riddance.
Ours was small, too...we had a pop-up camper. You don't see those being sold anymore.
We didn't even have a portable TV until I was 10, and when we got it, it was one of those TV-VCR combos and we took it everywhere with us on trips.
PZelda 08-16-2005, 01:47 AM I hate allergies. I used to get them every summer. The pollan always agrivated me.
Yuck! I don't have any allergies but I did mention the other day that sometimes I get cold-like symptoms where my head gets stuffed up and I start sneezing non-stop for a couple of hours. It happened to me last weekend, and it was gone in a few hours.
*wakes up from nap*
Ah, you guys missed me?
We sure did.
PZelda 08-16-2005, 01:51 AM What time do you all plan on leaving?
Within the next half hour or so. :) Probably play some Commander Keen before I hit the sack...That or watch some more Mary Tyler Moore.
Mr. Television 08-16-2005, 01:52 AM Yup. I'm not too surprised she picked NC, and you're right, she does fit in there. I heard she turned into a white trash (step)mother when she moved there. Good riddance.

 Theirs a lot of white trash there. Their was a special street where all the impropper ladies hung out. It was well known for years. The cops finally shut it down and they all moved up to the mall. ohno:
I remember them. I haven't seen them around in years.
We always had a portable tv as long as I can remember. I never had a combo until the 1990's.

Yea I've had it so bad sometimes it gets hard to breathe and other times an Asthma attack can come from it. Luckily I haven't been bad this year. In fact I haven't used my asthma inhalor this summer. :woohoo:
Mr. Television 08-16-2005, 01:55 AM The Fresh Prince is coming on and I need to get to bed. Good night Sonny and Allison. I'll TTYL. :bye:
Goodnight GF :bye:

We always had a portable tv as long as I can remember. I never had a combo until the 1990's.
!!! Sounds JUST like Hicksville. But in mine, it was the parking lot behind this VERY white-trash hotel they had there, and they'd cruise downtown at all hours of the night.
We sold our pop-up camper when I was 10 as well and for about 7 or so years, we would borrow my paternal grandparents' 1983 RV to go on trips. I miss it, it was a pretty nice RV. They eventually just gave it to us and my dad sold it about 2 years ago for a 5th-wheel camper. It's pretty nice- I haven't had a chance to go camping in it yet, though.
That was our first and only combo. I'm not too keen on combos...VCR/DVD's are fine, but not if they're built into the TV. I've had the most trouble with them. :cuss: My paternal grandma has a combo TV/VCR in her crafting room and it would constantly mess up her tapes.

Hey, congratulations! I believe this calls for a celebration. :D It's always nice not to have asthma attacks. I don't have asthma but I know that asthma attacks can be scary and deadly, if you're not careful.

I remember one time, I think I was about 10 or 11, My Grandma, Aunt and Uncle were visiting and we were out driving and we accidentily ended up on that street. My Grandma was very old school and had the strangest look on her face and then I remember my Aunt comenting that thats the first time she ever saw a hooker.
We never went camping again after 1977. My parents said it was to hard to go traveling with a small baby but I always thought that was a crock. I was a baby and we still went places.
Yea the only combo I have now is the VCR/DVD combo. I didn't care for the tv/vcr combo. The vcr broke down long before the tv.

It can be real scary. The last big attack I had was around 1996. I honestly thought I was a goner. I stayed in front of the fan and it got so bad I couldn't walk without losing my breathe. I usually just get clogged up a little and then I use my inhalor and it usually clears right up.

Would you believe I have yet to see a hooker around here? I'll probably have the same reaction as your grandma.
It really doesn't make sense. You were old enough that you could behave and handled yourself on your own, so your mom wouldn't have too much trouble handling a few kids. I agree, what a crock that was.
And ditto about the TV/VCR combo. I don't trust those things. :cuss:

I haven't seen any up here but that was NC for you. It was a nice little town when we first moved there but within a few years it was a dangerous place to live. I remember their was once a rapist lose in our neighborhood, their was a shooting up at the circle K at the entrance of our housing projects and a suicide happened right on our street.
Yea I think they didn't feel like it any more. When they had me they were in their 20's and 30's and by the time Shannon was born they were in their 40's and just wanted to stay home. :cuss:

I can't even imagine. Thank god it was sometime ago and that they don't happen yearly. :)
I've always wondered about inhalers...I don't know why, but I have a small fascination with them. When you use one, does it spray? You know, like a nose spray (I HATE those things :cuss: ). Do they have any taste to it? I know, what strange questions to be asking. ;)

Yea its exactly like a spray. What I do is You put the little top on and then squirt it and you try to hit the real back of your mouth and then I take a large breathe. If it doesn't clear up in a minute or two I do it again but then I can't use it again for another 3 hours. The one I use has no taste to it. Its sort of like water but since I hit the back of my mouth I don't taste it much.

That's what I thought. I've always wondered about that, pretty neat to see how it works. :D
For some reason, I thought they would numb your mouth. I'm thinking of Cholorseptic (sp?) for sore throats. It's a spray and makes my mouth numb if I use it. We used to have a bottle from the early 90's and it contained alcohol in it. I got buzzed off of it once. It wasn't very fun.

Yea it doesn't numb your mouth or anything. I know sometimes it got real bad and I used it and it cleared up and I went right to sleep. I din't even get one until High School. Before that I took capsels. I know in Junior High I was bothered with it a lot. In October 1980 I spent a week in the hospital because of an attack.

Holy whoa! omg: :faint:
I think every small town is like that. We had shootings and beatings up here too. :cuckoo When I was in 5th grade, there was a convenience store shooting. The robber shot the clerk in the head, and the clerk died. Then about five months after I moved away, there was a fatal beating...EIGHT Native Americans beat up this white guy, and he died from all the injuries. :( That was in February 2004, and I STILL hear about some of the guilty party going to court. I have NEVER EVER liked the Native Americans living on the Fort Totten reservation up there. The Native American kids loved terrorizing the whites at school, IF the Native American wasn't attending school on their reservation. I never heard about anybody else beating up other kids in school, it was always the Native Americans. :( [/ramble]
PZelda 08-16-2005, 02:48 AM I'm going to call it a night. My eyelids are getting heavy. Night! :bye:

That sucks. :( It would be so nice if everyone could just get along. I go on about NC. I hated a lot of things about that place, mainly the people  but it is beautiful country down there and the beaches were great and I always loved our yearly Hurricane threats. Its just to bad the place wasn't more like Mayberry.

I completely agree. At least you had the scenery to go on with. I didn't really have anything to go on with up in Hicksville. 1). It sat on a rising lake that rose even more every year. 2). It was in the middle of nowhere. 3). It was the biggest town in a ring of surrounding towns. 4). The people there sucked. 5). Too close to a Native American reservation (5 mins away omg: ). 6). NO MALL!!!!! :( I think that's it.
I could've used Mayberry up there too.
