A Clockwork Orange- It is a VERY strange film, sometimes shocking too- but I've been hearing about this film for so long I had expectations of a film so shocking you'd faint wathing it- which I didn't! But still, a very interesting film.

Wrongfully Accused-Funny Funny laugh out loud movie. One of those stupid movies that make you laugh. Its a spoof movie sorta like Scary Movie 3 or something.

The Passion of Christ - *very graphic violence in this movie* director Mel Gibson worked hard to make this movie as realistic as possible, and whether you are a believer or not, it is a very compelling film

Out of Time

Totally derivative of No Way Out (tone and suspense), bad acting overall (Eva Mendes is about convincing as my cat as a detective), and ultimately ludicrous stretches of reality in a pose of good faith. Basically bad movie.

John Billingsley as the M.E. was the sole bright spot.
And I like the idea of a laid back drinking on the job Florida Key sheriff with his eccentric M.E. pal.

Make a series out of that.

Yesterday my roommate and I watched "House Of The Dead" on Pay Per View.
Then my roommate had a long talk, and we decided that he is no longer allowed to choose the movies we view.

This is the absolute worst film I have ever seen in my life, period.

I'm serious. There was nothing redeeming about this film whatsoever.
Okay, there was some female nudity, but that in no way made this film tolerable.

Never see this move. You are just asking for pain.

I watched Misery today. It was awesome and I can see why Kathy Bates got that Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She was the perfect Annie Wilkes. She sure weilds a mean sledgehammer! The movie is tame in content compared to the book (in the book, Sheldon gets his foot and one of his thumbs cut off; this is replaced by the sledgehammer scene). I was expecting Bates to be more psycho and explosive. I liked Bates' performance a lot but I was expecting her to portray Annie like the book does but one way or the other, she doesn't disappoint. BTW, Rob Reiner appears twice in this film as a helicopter pilot.

I'd give it 3/4. I like the book better but that doesn't mean that it wasn't a good movie.

I saw Lost In Translation a few days ago. Pretty good but I don't think it was Bill Murray's best performance ever like critics think. It made me feel really old to find out Scarlett Johansen was 18 when it was made (19 now), I assumed she was in her mid-20's considering the character she played.

I enjoyed Gothica. It was strange but good. Halle Berry did a good job with the role, and the filming technique was interesting.

I didn't really like the movie. I also thought the gore was overdone. I like horror movies, but I didn't think this was a very good one.

Dawn of the Dead- I'm not big on remakes, especially a remake of something I consider to be one of the greatest zombie movies ever made.

I did however really like the remake of DOTD! A great spin on an old movie!

Because I couldn't.

The Mystery of Natalie Wood (only part 2- missed part 1)- I liked the film, but really- the actors playing Christopher Walken and Marilyn Monroe were awful (I laughed thru marilyn monroe's scene- so awful it's funny)- as well as the child actress playing Natalie's daughter Natasha.

Westworld- Loved it!
