Ha, the metal things on phones back then...easy to poke somebody's eye out with them. They were freaking HUGE (and extremely LONG). We had a cordless phone at home in the 80's and it was HUGE. The thing on the top stretched out to over 2' + long. Good times.

This kick ass, white, fur jacket (it is sooo 1970s retro, I love it!)
This stunning, crushed-velvet, royal purple blouse
A balck shirt with a beaded butterfly on the bodice of silver and jet beading and sequins.
Perfume
Beauty Supplies, like beauty creams for both the face and the body.
A really hot looking, pink tunic that is the size XL, which is way too big; for some reason my mom thinks that I am big girl when I am not. I wear a size medium in the Junior's department (but I do have an ample bust)
A denim skirt, embroidered with silver suds and turquoise (really pretty)
A multi-colored, stripped sweater
A stunning sweater from my sister
And the best present of all, the first season of The Rockford Files.

This has been an awesome Christmas, one of the bests..I received a lot of wonderful gifts (tons of clothing, that I love, and now my closet is filled):D

2003, 2004 both royally sucked for me..but 2005 was a great year. I saw a lot of great bands, I lost a lot of weight, I met new friends, had people (that I cared for in the past) return in my life, etc. 2005 was a good year, after a couple of crappy ones. The only good thing that happened in 2003 was finding this site and becoming close friends with a lot of the members of this board.:)

I wasn't too wild about 2003. Let me see what happened that year...

- I was a high school senior at the beginning of '03 and graduated later that spring.
- I saw Vicki Lawrence for the first time AND met her in person. (the BEST part!)
- I turned 18.
- I moved back to my hometown.

For some reason, I had a hard time dealing with the move, even though it was a great thing. I got the hell out of the sh*t-hole town I was living in and it was just so much better for me. But 2003 was definitely an awesome year for SO.


2004 was 10000000000000x better. Man, I miss 2004.
- Started college in January.
- Went to London for 10 days.
- My family ended up on Trading Spaces: Family. That in itself was the BEST part of the year. I could rattle off all the wonderful things that happened, but I will spare you guys. :lol:
- I saw Vicki Lawrence for the 2nd time AND met her for the 2nd time. :D

There were some other stuff I'm sure, but they aren't coming to mind right now.

2005 was pretty decent. Better than 2003, that's for sure. I did turn 20 though...Thank god, haha. No more teens. :cheer: Oh yeah, and I saw Vicki for the 3rd time. I have a feeling 2006 will be even more awesome than this year...Going to NYC and all...I will be going to Los Angeles too but I don't know when that will be. Oh yeah...Tim and Harvey in October. :rock:

It was in their sixth season. Oh yeah, the 5th season just came out to DVD, so there are two more seasons left to be released.

I just checked...apparently it was a two-parter and Stepfanie plays Anna Louise. Okay, so that's two episodes to record on New Year's since they are showing both parts of that episode the same day. Cool. :D

I wrote a christmas parody finally today wotn be the only one its a parody of "Holiday" by Green Day

Say, Hey!
We’re shopping in every store
Getting’ all our presents ready for Christmas
The day
We start is Black Friday

See the lights on our green tree
And the lights on the house and Christmas wreath
The lights
They are so bright , the neighbors have to cover their eyes

I finished my Full House S2 set this morning. I got an email from TSOD regarding the coverart for S3, and I think it is 100000000000000x better than the first two seasons' coverart.

I love & hate that show at the same time. I obsessively watched it when it was still in its original run and then the reruns. When I was in HS, they used to have reruns on TBS from 4pm til 5pm Central on weekdays. I would go home every day after school & plop down in front of the TV to watch FH. It is so ****ing cheesy and sappy ("OMGZ I LUV YU so0o0o0o0 MUCH!!!!111ON3!!1 HUUUGGGGG!!!!!" anyone?) but it sucks you in at the same time. Once you start watching, you can't turn away. :lol:

I said it before, I'm saying it again. I HATED the Olsen Twits when FH was still on and I still hate them today. I liked it better when that dumb Michelle was still really young and couldn't talk too much. In the last 2-3 seasons, it got really annoying. Stupid whiny Michelle. :cuss:

I remember when Bob Saget was hosting America's Funniest Videos (now called America's Funniest Home Videos and Tom Bergeron now hosts) and Dave Coulier was hosting America's Funniest People at the same time they were on FH. I always wanted to go on AFV beause it was, well, crazy. :lol:

I sincerely hope you have not seen America's Funniest People. It was one of the most visually disturbing programs ever to grace the airwaves. AFP had these really scary-looking backdrops, I think they call it that? These fake wall things...Yeah. Anyway. The backdrops on AFP were scary...They had Andy Warhol-inspired faces on it, and they made the faces really disorted, like when you look through a kaleidoscope. These disorted faces would have objects protuding out of them, like giant spoons, giant tongues, etc. It was really creepy.

A lot of the time, they open the show and begin by saying, "Previously on Gilmore Girls, ..." then they play a few scenes from previous episodes, and the episode continues the storyline from there. The flashback beginning always helps people to understand what happened/will happen in the episode to come. :D

Added bonus...The five seasons are on DVD now & they are in their 6th season. :lol:

I played The Sims on the PC in 2000/2001. But they have been around since the early 90's, just not the same Sims you know today. They had many Sims games where you just built countries, etc. and my brother LOVED the Sims back then. They had games like Sim Ant, Sim City, Sim City 2000, Sim City 3000, etc. But I think it was a different company that made them than the one that makes the current Sims.

I have been watching a TON of programs lately where Michael Landon was in it (mainly Little House on the Prairie) and it always makes me sad seeing him onscreen. :(

I have a tape that Cathy made for me in 2003...it has, I believe, 5 episodes of Match Game from the 70's with Vicki in it...I think two are from 1973 and the other three are from 1978. Vicki is sitting right next to Michael in the '73 episodes. :(

The thing I remember seeing Suzanne in the most is The Bob Newhart Show, which ran from 1972 until 1978. She played Emily Hartley, Bob Hartley's wife (Bob Hartley was played by Bob Newhart). I have two pics of them from their TBNS days at the end of this post, both pictures are from about 1973. :)

Holy crap, haha. Finally made it to my dad's and opened the last of my Xmas gifts.

My paternal grandparents are SO weird. I got a pair of thick house socks from them (the kind with the rubber on the underside) and it has bows on it. Ummm, no. The socks are nice but I am going to cut the bows off!

Then... dun dun dun... I got... *drum roll* GILMORE GIRLS SEASON 3 from my dad!! Now I have all 5 seasons! :banana: As well as $150 in cash for NYC. :lol: Awesomeeee :D But I am going to take like $20 from that so I can buy a Nintendo DS :D

One of my uncles & his family is visiting us right now, they live in the Denver area... We were talking about Joe Farrell earlier & the play he is in right now, and my Colorado uncle asked me if Little Shop was going to be in Denver and I said, "I think so..." and we went to check the dates. Yup...in fact, they're in Denver right now. When my uncle and his family go home, they are going to see Little Shop. *jealous* :cuss:

actually a lot of people sit in McDonalds parking lots for a couple of hours and play. Apparently McD's has awesome Wi-Fi connections!
