The bus here was only a dollar...probably why it went bankrupt. But it never went to any nearby towns and the only ones using the bus was the senior citizens.

I did a LOT of traveling as a kid. We went to South Dakota and Minnesota a lot in the 1980s, and the first time I flew in a plane was in January of 1990. I did a LOT of traveling across the state from 1991 to 2003 -- several times a month, even. Both by car and by plane. It's why I'm pretty sick of living here and not doing anything. I love traveling and wish I could do more of it. :lol:

I've been to three amusement parks so far...Valleyfair (http://www.valleyfair.com/) in Shakopee, MN, outside of Minneapolis (last time in 2003), Six Flags Elitch Gardens (http://www.sixflags.com/parks/elitchgardens/) in Denver, CO (last time in 1997) and good 'ole Disney World (last time was in 1990...geez).

Oh, and I guess you could consider Camp Snoopy in the Mall of America a sort of mini-amusement park...it's not a full-blown amusement park or anything. It's a ripoff, though...you have to pay for INDIVIDUAL rides instead of paying an one-time admission fee to go on all the rides. Meh.

I need to drop me like 5-10 pounds this summer. I have alot of land around my house, so I'm going to start walking pretty soon. :winkgrin

Has anyone tried that new bowl at KFC? From the bottom up - It has a layer of mashed potatoes, THEN corn, THEN crispy pieces of chicken strips, THEN 3 cheeses on top. I know it sounds gross mixed up, but it looks really good on the commercials. Ok, that's it - I'm going be paying the Colonel a visit tomorrow :lol:

I was watching Tony Danza this morning, and he was talking about how he can do five shows in four days. He would do one taping per day Mondays - Wednesdays, and have two tapings on Thursday, the live broadcast and then the Friday broadcast in the afternoon. He was talking about how they are going to do tomorrow's (Friday) broadcast live. So, instead of doing two tapings today, he did two tapings yesterday. So, today's show was actually taped YESTERDAY. Then he said something that made me laugh... "So, if you're standing outside this studio, you're in trouble!" :lol:

I think Tony Danza is pretty alright. :thumbsup: I just started watching "Who's The Boss" a couple of months ago. I actually saw him at the October 2004 Stars Over Mississippi Ceremony. He was in the parade throwing candy out. The ceremony is bi-annual, so hopefully we'll have another this year.

I adore Tony Danza. I've been a Tony Danza fan ever since his WTB days in the 80's. Somewhere along the line, I caught Taxi reruns -- Taxi is a TV show he was in prior to WTB, from 1978 to 1983. That was in the very early 90's.

It's carnival time here in town. The annual carnival will be here in two weeks, and I plan to go to that.

Then, during the first weekend in July is the annual arts and crafts fair. It's one of my fave pastimes...they have parades and stuff like that during that weekend.

Then, mid- to the end of July is the annual North Dakota State Fair (http://www.ndstatefair.com/) in Minot. They get a LOT of major celebs, singers, etc. This year, they were able to get Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson AND Carrie Underwood. Last year, they got Reba McEntire to come perform...she is actually a regular performer at the NDSF. The NDSF is a pretty major deal in this state... 250,000+ people come to the fair every year, and the numbers just keep on growing.

I'm pretty psyched. :D
