:rofl:!!! That's pretty much how it looks through the whole tape. The picture cleans up a little towards the end, but it's not much of an improvement. It becomes slightly wavy at times to compensate for the cleaner picture quality. I can't win either way. :lol:

man, I have no idea what is going on here - about an hour an a half ago, I noticed my motion-lights going on outside, so I looked out there and there was a bunch of cops swarming around my yard. One of them says "I need to get into your back yard" so I let them come through the house to get into the back - Bandit is going CRAZY as all of this is happening - and as they are going out the back door they pull their GUNS

yet they wont tell me what the hell is going on - they are trying to find/catch somebody though - they still have the cop dogs out sniffing around

MY HUNTER DVD IS STUCK IN MY DVD RECORDER!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T GET IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! My DVD recorder refuses to show anything on the screen. OMG I am so upset right now. I WANT MY HUNTER OMG I WANT TO WATCH HUNTER RIGHT NOW BUT I CAN'T. :crying: My DVD recorder was fine this morning and now the screen picture is snowy. :crybaby: I may have to take off the casing or get it serviced or something.

That's exactly what I did. I made dinner and wanted to sit down, eat my dinner and watch Hunter in my bedroom. Lo and behold...Nothing happening.

About 25 minutes have passed since I unplugged my recorder...I am going to try again.

I'm not sure how to locate a screw-in fuse. :confused:

I have a Memorex MVDR2100 recorder and as far as I know, Memorex is still making them - but I have passed the 90-day warranty on mine (it's from March 2005). It looks like the only option I have at the mo' is to take it to a shop to be repaired. I know there is a place in town where I can do that... I just hope it isn't going to be too expensive.

Sigh...this has been a lousy week for me...

It sure does seem like that. I take VERY good care of my DVD's and electronics but they love to go out on me at the most inconvenient times. Like how I had to get a new computer monitor before Christmas because my dumbass cat chewed through the monitor-CPU cord. ****, I practically had a stroke when that happened. And let's not forget about how my dad's portable DVD player went KAPUT when we were about 650 miles away from home, in western Montana over Thanksgiving. :faint:

It sounds like something serious, but police are instructed to have their guns out as a precautionary measure in any situation like that. Sounds like the subject they were looking for was armed and dangerous. In those situations, you never know what could be around the next corner, so it makes sense to have your gun out just in case. Did you ever hear any gunshots ring out afterwards?

If he can't figure out what's wrong with my recorder, then there is a repair shop right next door to the DQ around the block from me (awesome :D). Very nifty. It's been 20-30 degrees so far here for a good part of January. Usually it's in the teens to below zero...Two Januarys ago, we had -40ºF weather for two weeks in a row. That was brutal. :faint:

MY DVD RECORDER IS FIXED!!!!!! MY HUNTER DVD IS SAFE AND SOUND!!!!!! :banana: :mango Apparently there was a part in my DVD recorder that helps to power it, that went KAPUT. They put in a new part to replace it and all is right now. :D I have to hook it up again though...haven't done that yet because I just came home from being at Barnes & Noble. :lol:
