I watched the episode and when the Mayor came on, there was a voice that sounded so cute (and not to mention HOT). So after I watched the episode, I noticed a "John Larroquette" showed up as the voice of the Mayor. I looked him up of course, and there was a picture that made me want to start crushing on him.

But what really got me was this 80s judicial sitcom called Night Court that he starred in and just had to look up names of the episodes. One in particular caught my eye which was A Guy Named Phantom and had to find out just who the phantom was. Turns out that the Phantom was a good looking guy named John Larroquette.

Anyway, I could go on and on. But in a nutshell, that's how I got into an actor that I like!

Another mention of a toe was in "A perfect Wedding" , when a VERY pregnant Julie arrived for Barbara's wedding and she became in pain!!! :eek: It was assumed that she was in labor but turned out the pain was in her toe from kicking Alex's weight under the bed!!! :D


Poor Max was all concerned as the Father to be asking her "Where exactly is the pain"? And Julie says' 'In my toe" ! Max in his usual adorable" Lembeck-ness" style of comedic acting with his cute mannerisms and facial expressions says " YOUR TOE"???? :lol: :D :heart:

Well years ago when I was a teenager he was on a show called Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman . Both my Sister and I thought he was hot!;) Than he started playing on One day at a time a few years later and I didn't even realize that was the cute guy from Mary Hartman! :crazy: At that point I saw him but with the beard he looked different. I really wasn't watching One day at a time much anymore. So I only caught him a couple of times and didn't really think one way or another about him!

THAN it all pretty much became a full blown crush when Antenna started running ODAAT . I was like WOW Max really is cute, very hot!:eyes: And the character was such a sweetheart too! Well the crush grew really big and I started checking IMDB for other roles he played on ! And I was like OMG he was Clete from Mary Hartman!:eek: And I was seeing what TV shows he guest starred on and looking out for them to be shown on TV! Such as Barney Miller on Antenna and Happy Days and s few Love Boat episodes on METV! Than I stared ordering DVD's of shows and movies he was in , and REALLY was in love at that point! Than all the wonderful pictures that Opus posts of him for me and also Anna and Torgo used to as well, really helped fuel the crush! ;) :love:

OH wow! Anna you are going through a lot! :( I deal with two older ladies , but not that old or with that many physical problems! These two have treatable/bearable (well most of the time bearable) mental issues and one has some medical problems but I don't really have deal with that, she's OK with medication ! I'm more there for house cleaning, companionship, errand running ,taking to Doctor appointments . But I don't have to help them out to go to the bathroom or anything like that, they walk OK on there own and it's only 20 hours or so a week. And bottom line is they aren't related to me . It would be hard if they were a loved one, esp. a Mom! I feel for you. God bless you girl!! :)

I like to be in charge of everything concerning her and they live pretty far away from Anytown anyway so that is the way the situation is. I don't like it when other people take over, in some ways I am definitely a control freak. :crazy: :D She and I are birds of a feather who flock together. :) It was very difficult when she was away from me and out of my control even though they treated her very well. She needs the one on one of having someone watching her all the time.

I agree she is going through an adjustment period that hopefully she will persevere through. We just had a playful mini argument so I think she might be getting her fight back which is a good sign that she is feeling better. Thanks for the words of encouragement. :wave:

Anyhow I just saw this movie and it was really good!;) Very good acting and I learned alot I didn't really know cause I was a little girl. And the poor girl Mary Jo had a horrible death , and it was really sad ,:( but I also found myself feeling a little sorry for Ted. The family history and all ! Ted had really low self esteem, he didn't live up to his family expectations and well I'll leave it at that before Dad the King reads this! :eek:

But than let me add, I think the movie could have been longer and got more into Ted and Mary Jo's actual relationship? It left you wondering?:confused: I think that was the intention maybe? For the audience to kind of come out feeling the way I do. He was kind of an ass and a buffoon but like I said it made you feel kind of sorry for him ! And in his position and being advised to cover it up , It's hard to explain and also as I said the poor girl. Very tragic!!:(


And also Michael Lembeck just turned 21 when the Chappaquiddick tragedy happened !! About as old as he was in my avatar!! ;) :heart:

Besides Max singing and dancing with the champagne, other memorable scenes were the famous "Go suck an egg" comment and Max gets mad and storms out of the house, the "Tootsie Horvath" introduction, Max having a mental breakdown over having no patients for him to resept , looking like he was about to cry, he was SO adorable and dramatic in that scene!, :) When he was in the dental chair running some lines of a story he was writing by Mark, it was a violent story and Schneider who was supposed to be Mark's first patient getting scared and leaving thinking Mark was torturing him doing dental work! That was funny! :lol: .Max saying "My root canal can wait" in a voice like he had a toothache pretending he was there for dental work when unexpectedly a lady shows up needing emergency dental work , Mark's first patient. Schneider hit her with his tool belt by accident when he was quickly leaving the building in fear! :D
