She doesn't know that her other long-lost relative, the murderous Leatherface, has been hiding out in the basement for decades.





* The film is supposed to work as a direct sequel to the original film, but (as usual with the other TCM films) it completely ignores the events of the other movies in the series.

It is set in modern time, which completely ignores that the first film took place in the 1970s.

I did like that they brought in some of the original actors, Gunnar Hansen, Marilyn Burns and John Dugan have small cameos, but as a whole... I didn't get into this one.

Nothing new is offered, some of the interviews were dull. Not sure why they even had Kevin Tenney on there as all he did was bash slashers.)

It's an on screen commentary, the writer director was joined by George Takei, though he wasn't in the movie. Then throughout actors from the movie would pop up and talk about their scenes, whenever the director wanted to point something out on screen arrows and circles would pop up to show what he was referring to. )

A major league baseball player loses his eye in a car wreck and is distraught that he'll never be able to play again. He is approached in the hospital by a doctor who offers him the opportunity to undergo an experimental eye transplant that has never been done before.

Shortly after getting the new eye he slowly begins to transform into the person whom the eye belonged to, an executed serial killer.

What an excellent movie - 10/10 -- This was outside in the garbage pile @ salvation army yesterday..... IT IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!

I added it to my collection of loved movies!

Just to think it would have been thrown away if I hadnt seen it on the ground!!!! (Some snow on it,etc) -- I DO FEEL GUILTY GETTING ALL THIS WONDERFUL ANALOG MEDIA SO CHEAPLY!!!!!!!!! (But I guess its better than getting it 100% free)

Foul Play is great. If you haven't yet, you should check out the other Hawn and Chase movie Seems Like Old Times.

This soft-core Skinemax flick does not have a home release, so I ordered a ripped DVD from a collector online.

The "plot" features three married or engaged couples getting together with a recently divorced friend at a mansion for a reunion. The men lust after the divorcee resulting in lots of sex scenes.

I wanted this for soft-core actress Brandy Davis (pictured) who did a few of those Surrender Erotica flicks produced by Full Moon.

Foul Play is great.Indeed as Most movies were (And everything else was) from the 80s and earlier.....


Ill look into the other one,I see its from 1980 -- Probably just as good!

I was disappointed w/ the Lifetime Lizzie Borden movie.

I wish they went more into the characters' backgrounds leading up to murders and the soundtrack did not fit at all.

I agree. In the 1975 version it was more of a character study. And I don't get why contemporary music was in the soundtrack. It didn't fit at all! James, have you seen the Elizabeth Montgomery version? If not I suggest you see it. It is far superior to this mess!

Return To Nuke 'Em High Part 1 '13 :thumbsdow (I'm a huge Troma fan, and I love the Lloyd Kaufman directed ones, but it seems when it comes to sequels they just fail for me. Of their 2 franchises Toxic Avenger and Class Of Nuke 'Em High the only sequel I've enjoyed was Citizen Toxie aka Toxic Avenger IV.
The only positives I could find on this film was Stan Lee's intro, and that they used the theme song from the original Nuke 'Em High.)

I really like this one. I loved the plot, and that mask is creepy.

I've had to explain to a few people that it wasn't related to The Hills Have Eyes series (the remake one).

A group of college kids on Spring Break decide to spend the night inside a closed down amusement park dark ride attraction.

The ride closed decades prior after many of the riders were found murdered inside.



* The movie seemed like a rip-off of Tobe Hooper's 'The Funhouse', but I enjoyed this one because I've always been into those obscure dark ride attractions found at local carnivals.

I also liked it for Patrick Renna after watching him as a kid many times from 'The Sandlot' and 'The Big Green'. It's been a while since I've seen him in anything.

A paranormal professor realizes one of her students is "gifted" and she has him volunteer to help her investigate a haunted house where an evil force killed a young girl.
