Okay, this is my actually Mine and Jeanie's first fan-fiction on the board for awhile. Believe me this fan-fiction gets more interesting as you go along... I've done the writing Jeanie had most of all the wonderful Ideas!!

A Routine

Jinny sat at her desk flipping through some folders that lay before her. Her head resting in her hand she sighs and looks over to Magda.
"Lunch?"
"Sure, I'm starving!"
"Fantastic." Jinny reply's getting up from her seat,and adjusts her gun holster under her leather jacket. While Magda slips on her coat over her blue button up blouse. As the two walk toward the door Angela and C.D. come from the hall. Magda and Jinny step to the side to let them in.
"Where are you two heading" C.D. asks walking past.
"Anchorside." Jinny reply's.
"Ooh, Have fun. We just came from there."
"Business is booming." Angela adds arriving at her desk.
"Bye" the two Inspector's reply disappearing around the corner.

"So if Jason McLate found his girlfriend in the bathroom dead. Isn't that a weird place for for a murder to take place?" Angela asks.
C.D. shakes her head and begins taking off her jacket, "No, not really. She could have been in the bathroom fresh out of the shower. Perhaps maybe a stuggle."
"That ended in the bathroom?"
"You never know. Besides, we haven't ruled out the boyfriend completely. He's still a suspect. He could have done it. Since if she was in the bathroom she saw the suspect appoarching in the mirror."
"If she was paying any attention." Angela says looking up at C.D. then back at the case folder.
"Nothings exact." C.D. says as she sits down. "You've got to realize that by now."
"I do. I was just -"
"You were just assuming that's what happened. Which you have to do in this job,but there is a place to draw the line. You can't get it tangled into reality. Whatever you think may have happened you can not play by."
The phone to the left of C.D. on her desk begins to ring.
"DeLorenzo."

Magda and Jinny walk into Anchorside Bar & Grill casually as they look around for a free table. The complete length of the bar was full of people on stools. Eating and drinking. Aswell as all the tables in sight. Jinny looks down the row then passed them for a table when she hears Magda from behind her say, "Over here,Jin."
When she turns around Magda is standing by a waiter whom is cleaning off a table that the people had just left from. She walks over and together the two wait for the man to finish. At last he washes the table with his washrag that he pulls from his backpocket and places the salt and pepper shakers,etc on the table again.
"Thanks a lot." Magda says as takes a seat.
"Yeah,thanks." Jinny adds as she walks around the man,and takes a seat across from Magda in the booth.
As the two settle in their booth a waiter walks by and puts two waters on the table in front of them a waitress shortly follows with an Anchorside black shirt on. She asks, "Can I get you anything to drink?" her notepad and pen in hand she smiles at the two ready to write whatever they order.
"Yeah, I'll have a Diet Coke." Magda reply's.
"Waters fine." Jinny says.
The waitress nods writes it down and walks off toward the next table before heading toward the kitchen.
Jinny sighs and moves her hair out of her eyes.
"You're off tomorrow aren't you?" Magda asks.
"Sure am. Captain only gives me days off to get poked and injected on."
Her partner laughs, "It's not that bad, Jinny. I had mine last week."
"Yeah well it's the downside to the job..... Not like we don't get enough trouble on the job."
"Amen." Magda smiles. "At least we know our partners and ourselves are healthy."
"Yeah, I guess. I still don't like to be jabbed with things."
"Neither do I. Every six months we have this to look forward to."
"And every six months I complain."
"Believe me ,Jinny, you complain more than every six months."
Jinny gives Magda a look,but can't keep it without a slight smile. "Look who's talking."

I love it. You are a very talented writer and very good at it... Thanks...

Angela glances up with a grin as she finishes their case.
"Finished!" she says proudly,and stands. She walks over to C.D.'s desk across from her.
"All it needs is your signature there." she points at the blank feild.
Her partner looks up to her, "I know where to sign it. I've been doing it for over 14 years." she reply's unamused and a slight bit sarcastic. Kate's phone begins to ring which brings Angela to look behind her at Captain's office.

"McCafferty" Kate answers.
"Hey Sweetie. How's LA. Ya holding up?" She smiles.
"Oooh, I see. What's the news this time,Amanda.......You're what!? You can't live in that sort of a place. God. What happen to the dishwasher?.......Yeah,Bob..You knew whom I was talking about...Uh-huh. Okay, are you sure you don't want to come home yet?" she asks. A smiles comes across her face. "You know I had to ask."

By this time Jinny and Magda were almost finished eating.
Jinny smirks, "I still can't believe Gabe asked you the forbidden question."
"If I'd marry him?" she asks.
"Yep, that's the one!"
Magda laughs, "That was over 3 months ago,Jinny."
"Yeah,well I still can't believe it."
"So you're saying if Teddy had asked you. You would of-"
"He didn't ask me. He won't ask me. Let's drop it." Jinny reply's back.
"Whooa. Sorry,Jin. I didn't mean t-"
"No it's okay, I'm sorry. I've just been moody lately with all the stress. Having everything happen. The intervention , suspention, and finally getting back."
"Yeah, you're doing good though, Jin."
"Thanks" she finishes her last bite of food ,and sits back on the cushion of the booth.

"You know I'm getting through." she reply's in a low voice. "You and Dan?" she trys to change the subject from her and Paul.
Angela nods, " We're doing okay. He doesn't like my job."
"Inspector?" C.D. smirks, "Why?"
"You mean Paul never said anything about you being a cop?"
"No, he knew better."
"Oh, well Dan has a problem with me carrying a gun,and 'putting my life on the line'."
"I guess I can understand that. Glad he's your problem not mine." C.D. smiles.

Jinny and Magda then walk through the doors of the Division.
"He's not exactly a problem, C.D." Angela reply's.
"Does he interfere with your job?"
"I guess, somewhat."
"I'll take that as a yes....He's a problem."
Magda laughs at that comment, "What are you two talking about?"
"Men. I can tell." Jinny reply's.
"Her husband." C.D. reply's. "He doesn't like her carrying a gun and" she begins to mock Angela "putting her life on the line." she trys to hold back a smirk.
Both the Inspectors laugh.
"He'd be out the door." Jinny says.
"Would he ever have been really in the door, Jinny?" Magda asks.
She shrugs, "Probably not."
Before Magda could really think about what she was going to say she blurted out "Gabriel asked me to marry him."
"Speaking of problems." Jinny grins.
"JINNY!" Magda laughs.
"Gabriel , Ben's dad?" C.D. asks.
"Uh-huh." she nods and sits in her seat.
Jinny leans against her desk.
Angela just listens a bit confused.
"What was your response?"
"I said I have to think about it. For god sakes he hasn't been around for that long,and he wants to get married."
"He's another that wouldn't have been in the door." Jinny adds.
Magda ignores that remark.
"That's probably the best reply for now." C.D. nods.
"I hope so." Magda says.

The next morning the Alarm clock goes off in Jinny's room. She rolls over and hits the 'Snooze' and covers her face with the comforter to sheild the sun coming from the sleak white curtains over the window. 10 minutes go by and the Alarm clock goes off again.
"Ugh." Jinny says and shuts it off again,but this time sits up in her bed. Rubs her eyes and gets up. Wearing her sweat pants and a t-shirt she walks down her hallway slowly toward the kitchen. She then begins starting her coffee,and turns on the coffee pot. Jinny leans against her counter as she trys to wake up. After a moment she turns around and opens the window above her sink,then walks over and opens the blinds of the window near her stove to let the morning light in. She glances back at the coffee which just had started dripping into the pot, "I'll get my shower out of the way." she thinks to herself as she begins out of the kitchen. Jin had just made it to the hall when the phone begins to ring. Again she turns around and walks over to the desk near the door. Picks up the phone from the cradle and answers, "Hello?" her eyes closed she waits for the person on the other line to reply.
"Hey Jin." a familiar voice says.
"Hey Mag." Jinny reply's and yawns.
"What time is your appointment?"
"9:45."
"That's pretty soon. I just wanted to call and wish you luck!"
"Yeah, thanks. I can't wait." Jinny reply's sarcastically.
"I bet." Magda laughs. "Well I will let you go and get ready or whatever."
"Thanks,Mag. I'll call you later."
"Okay,Bye!"
They both hang up. Once again Jinny is on her way to the bathroom for her shower.

Magda walks into the Division for the first time that day from being down in the archives.
"Hey." C.D. says looking up from her desk.
"Hey Magda, where's Jinny?"Angela chimes in.
"Hey Guys. Oh Jinny's off today. Physical."
C.D. makes a face, "I know. Mines in two weeks. I hate hospitals never the less doctors."
"Mine is done with." Magda smiles.
"Yeah laugh it up." C.D. adds.

Captain walks in, "So,uh, Jinny's off for the physical today."
"Right Cap." Magda nods. "We finished the Watford Case yesterday." she points at the case folder on the left of her desk. "Finishing up the details now."
"Great." Kate nods and walks over to C.D. and Angela.
"Any leads?"
"No ,not any definite ones." Angela reply's.
"We went and talked to Leslie's boyfriend yesterday and he just seemed odd."
"Like he was holding back evidence?"
"Perhaps, we still haven't ruled him out completely."
"No sign of forced entry. Nothing?"
"Not that we gathered. The boyfriends story is he was in the living room he went to check on Leslie when he heard a loud noise and found her in the bathroom."
"So what he's saying is someone came in ,killed her,and left without him seeing them or hearing them leave?" Captain asks folding her arms.
"Exactly. There just isn't something right about that."
"Well talk to neighbors friends anyone who could know anything."
"We've talked to two neighbors,but nothing. We're still waiting for the neighbor to the direct left of their apartment to come home."
"Inform me when you find anything."
"You bet,Captain." C.D. reply's.

Here I'll add some more. I'm bored! haha

Jinny walks down her hallway dressed,her hair brushed,but still wet from her shower. She walks into the kitchen takes out a small thermo mug,and pours herself some coffee into it. Shuts off the coffee pot and puts the lid on the coffee mug. She picks it up ,takes a sip,and walks into the living room. Then sits the mug down on the table. Walks down the hall and comes back with her gunholster,gun,and her leather jacket in hand. She sits her leather jacket on the table near her coffee and puts the gunholster on. Then proceeds putting her Leather jacket on. Jinny drops her hand in her pocket and feels around for her wallet. Once she feels it she pulls her hand out...Picks up her keys,coffee,and heads toward the door.

Once the car is parked in front of the doctor's office Jinny turns off the engine,and gets out. She walks up to the offices glass door,pulls it open and enters. Jinny then walks up toward the front desk to let them know she was there. Before she gets up there she looks around at the empty office, which was cold,and smelled like a hospital. Which she hated to be in. The receptionist looks at her then to the chart, "Jinny Exstead?"
"Yeah." she reply's in a soft tone almost a whisper.
"The doctor will see you now." The woman reply's handing the chart to a nurse whom walks around to opens the door for Jinny to follow her down the hall,but before she gets to a room she stops at a scale.
"Can you please take off your shoes and get on the scale." the nurse says.
"Right , okay." Jinny sighs bends over and takes off her shoes. Then steps onto the scale.
The nurse then begins to take her height and weight once she was finished she looks at the board and announces, "5 foot 5 and 3/4 inches. 116 pounds!"
"Great." she reply's glancing around to see if anyone was in ear shot.
"Okay right this way." The nurse says as she walks about two feet and opens a room.
Not having enough time to put on her shoes Jinny gets off the scale,picks up her shoes,and walks to the examining room in her socks.

After reading and signing a paper Magda pulls up her sleeve to check the time, "9:50".
'Jinny's probably still waiting to see the doctor. Dying of impatience.' she smirks at her thought and thinks further, "Yeah that sounds like Jinny." she then continues on her papers.

C.D. steps forward and knocks on the door to Jason McLane's neighbors apartment. Her partner beside her.
After a moment a woman comes to the door, the two inspectors lift their badges, "San Francisco Police. I'm Inspector Reide this is Inspector De Lorenzo. We're here to ask you some questions about your neighbors Jason McLane and Leslie McGyver." Angela says very professionally.
"Ooh, I see. Please come in. Did anything happen to them?!" the woman asks moving apart from the door and letting the two Inspector's walk in. Once they were in the lady closes the door and leads them to the living room, "Please sit down."
"Did you know your neighbors very well-" C.D. waits for the woman to state her name.
"Karin, Karin Lincoln." the lady reply's. "Umm, I've spoken with Leslie several times. In the elevator on the way up. Other than that not really."
"Did she ever mention anything about Jason McLane, her boyfriend?" Angela asks.
Karin thinks a moment and shakes her head, "Not that I recall."
"Have you ever heard anything you found out of ordinary?"
"May I ask what this is all about?" Karin asks.
"Mrs. Lincoln, Leslie McGyver was murdered in her apartment next door." C.D. reply's.

The nurse finishes taking Jinny's blood pressure,etc. and leaves the room taking the chart with her. Leaving Jinny alone sitting on the bed in the middle of the room with paper over it. Which crackled everytime she moved. The room was painted a pale yellow with a border around the top of the wall. The border had pictures of children flying kites. She sighs and looks down to the ground right as the doctor opens the door and walks in holding the clipboard that the nurse a couple minutes earlier had left with.
"Hello Jinny, how are you?" the Doctor smiles and asks.
"I'm okay. Waiting to get out of here,but fine."
"You'll be out of here in a jiffy."
"Right." Jinny reply's and rolls her eyes while the doctor has his back turned getting ready to take her blood. Which was only just one of the plessures of todays visit.

Kate looks up to the door of her office when she hears a knock. It was Magda,and since Kate was on the phone she doesn't say anything,but lifts the case folder she had just finished with. So Kate could see it. Her Captain nods and exstends her hand out for it. Magda walks in closer and hands Kate the folder. "Thanks."
"No problem, Cap." Magda reply's and walks back out quietly to her desk.

"You're free to go now, Jinny." the doctor reply's after he is finished with everything he had to do.
"Ooh, is that all?" she reply's with an attitude.
"Yep. I'll call you with your results later on today."
"Yeah, okay. Whatever." she reply's getting up from the bed and adjusting her coat alittle. She then walks toward the door, "Thanks" she says softly before she rounds the corner and leaves.

Later that afternoon........

Magda walks into her Apartment to be greeted by the sound of Ben laughing in his bedroom. "I'm home." Magda says outloud. She takes off her coat to hang it on the hook but before she can Gabriel enters the living room with Benjamin on his back.
"Hi Mom!" Ben says excited.
"Hey Guys! Looks like you're having fun!" she laughs and puts her coat on the hook.
Gabriel kneels down so Ben could get down. Once he was down Gabriel stands back up and leans in to give Magda a kiss on the cheek.
"How was work?" he asks.
"It was okay. Finished up some stuff we were behind on." Magda reply's walking over to the couch to sit down and relax.

Okay here you go guys!

The screen to the ATM machine comes up once Kate inserts her card. She pushes the button 'Transfer' and types in Amanda's account number then she types in the amount she wants to transfer. She hits '4' , '0' , '0' , '0' , '0'. The screen shows $400.00 and she pushes enter.. Once she finishes the machine withdraws her card and feeds her out a receipt. Before she leaves the ATM machine she looks directly in front of her and sighs. Puts her car in gear and drives off out of the parkinglot of her bank.

Unlocking the door to her apartment wasn't easy since she had 2 bags of groceries in her arms,but Jinny succeeds. She opens the door and walks in straight to the table where she sets them down and goes back to close the door. Jin then comes back to the table and begins unloading the groceries setting the contents of the bags out on the table when the phone begins to ring.
"What timing." she says outloud and turns around grabbing the phone from the desk behind her.
"Hello?" Jinny says into the telephone and continues unloading the groceries.
"Hello, May I speak with Jinny Exstead?" the doctor asks.
"Speaking."
"We just received your test results back."
"Yeah, and?"
"Everything is fine."
"Great then I gotta go."
"Do you know you're pregnant?"
"What!?" she squints her eyes a bit.
"You're pregnant."
"You have got to be joking. Is this just some kind of weird way at getting me back for earlier?"
"No it isn't." the doctor says realizing she didn't know.
"You must have the wrong number then."
"How many Jinny Exstead do you think they are?"
"Wrong Test results?"
"No."
"So, I'm uh-." she couldn't even say it.
"Pregnant ,yes."
"Um, yeah okay." she swallows, "thanks for calling" Jinny hangs up and stands in her living room in complete silence. Her groceries spread out along the table.

C.D. sighs as she slowly rereads Karin Lincoln's statement she had signed earlier that afternoon.
The statement read: "Around 2:30 a.m. I was awakened up by a scream in the next apartment over, Leslie's apartment. After that there was yelling from a man that sounded like Jason. Leslie's Boyfriend. Then I heard a loud crash and something fall. After that nothing...." The Inspector inhales and glances up at Karin's signature at the top. Validating the statement.
"We'll go question Mr. McLane Monday." she thinks to herself.

By this time at Magda's house she was lying across the floor Benjamin sitting in front of her leaning back onto her stomach playing a video Game. Gabriel on the edge of the couch watching the game aswell when the phone begins to ring. Magda looks back at the phone mounted on the hall behind her, "Gabe can you grab that?" she asks.
"Yeah,sure Magda." he gets up to answer the phone.
"Hello?" Gabriel answers.
"Hi, um, uh, Is Magda there?" Jinny takes breath.
"Sure one second." Gabriel leans over and hands Magda the telephone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Magda, I need to talk to you." Jinny says uncertainly.
"What's wrong, Jinny. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, that's what the docotor said anyway."
"Oh, god. Was something wrong with your test results?"
"Can we just meet at Anchorside?"
"Okay,Jinny. I'll meet you there in 10."
"Thanks." Jinny hangs up.
"Bye" Magda says before she realizes Jinny has already hung up.
"Hey Sweetie. I will be back really soon, okay?" she says to Ben as she sits up. She pushes his hair back,and kisses his forehead.
"Gabe do you mind watching him for a little longer? Jinny needs to talk."
"Jinny? Can I come too!?" Benjamin asks pausing his video game.
"Sure,Magda. I'll watch him."
"But I wanna gooooo!"
"Maybe next time honey." she reply's. "Thank you so much,Gabriel!"

Putting covers on two glass dishes filled with a dinner for her and her husband. Angela leaves them on the table and puts on her coat. She comes back and picks up both the dishes, plus the two sets of silverware she had wrapped a napkin and tide with a yellow ribbon each. She was going to take the dinner down to the clinic to surprise Daniel. Since she had been working late nights the two hadn't seen eachother much lately. So since she had gotten off early today she wanted to surprise him at work. She smiles when she realizes she has gotten everything and proceeds toward the front door.

By the time Magda got to Anchorside Jinny had already found them a booth and was sitting alone looking out the window. Magda spots her and walks over, "Hey Jin. You okay?"
She looks at Magda,watches her sit, and shrugs, "Yeah, I guess. Besides being so damned confused."
"Why confused? Didn't your tests come back okay? You're not s-"
Jinny puts up a hand, "No I'm not sick or anything ,Magda. Just don't worry about me. I'll be fine."
"I didn't come all the way down here not to worry,Jinny. Tell me what's wrong."
Jinny exhales looks down then back out the window. After a short moment she looks back directly at Magda and says, " I'm pregnant."
"Oh my god, Jinny." was Magda's only words.
"Yeah, I know." she reply's looking back out the window.
"Who's is it!?"
"Who's do you think?" Jinny asks looking back at her partner and best friend
"I don't know. I mean you were raped."
"Magda, I honestly wasn't. Close,but nothing. The guy tried to take advantage of my drinking,but I got away. He hit me. I decked him. Nothing happened sexually. Besides that close encounter I haven't slept with anyone since Theodore. It has got to be his."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure. No sex. Or anything, for that matter since Theodore."
"God, Jinny, I didn't realize you ca-"
"Don't start with all this cared crap. I mean yeah I loved him. I still do,but I'm not going to have this kid bring us back together. It's not fair to anyone to be used. Especially an innocent kid. No way."
"Aren't you going to tell him? I mean if it his he has a right to know."
"There isn't any if about it. It is his,but do you realize what he'll think when I tell him?"
"I realize that Jinny,but you have got to let him know! You can't be selfish and keep it from him. You are keeping it right?"
She nods, "Yeah I'm keeping it. Whatever happens it is mine. No matter what."

Kate arrived in her driveway clear across town from her bank and the station. She sighed and shut off the engine. She really missed her daughter,and what she had just done to help her daughter. Was actually keeping her from her. Amanda was the single most important person in her life ever since she was born,but she had to acknowledge Amanda was a woman now. She didn't need her mommy to help her. Then again she actually did somewhat. The thought calmed Kate that her daughter actually 'needed' her,but also disappointed her.
Kate grabs her purse from the seat beside her and continued out of the car to her front door.

Now at home Jinny sat in front of her window in the living room. Every light in the house was shut of. She sat her feet in front of her on the chair curled up in only the moonlight watching the car lights in the distance moving this way and that as they turned or traveled straight to their destination. As she sat alone in her quiet apartment she thought if she could actually be an okay mother. Whatever she did she had to let Theodore know he had a child. What if he went on in life and never had any other child? He wouldn't know. Besides, it wasn't fair to the baby. She had to face her worst thoughts and call him. Jinny slowly placed her feet on the floor.

"A Story?" Ben asks anxiously to his mother and father.
"Not tonight, Benjamin. You have school tomorrow." Magda reply's.
"Dad?" he looks at his dad with puppy eyes.
"You heard your mom, Son."
"Fiine."
Magda smiles at Ben and kisses his forehead. "Goodnight Sweetie." she stands and lets Gabriel say his goodnights. Magda then turns on Ben's nightlight and the two leave him alone in the slightly dark room.
"So is everything okay with Jinny?" Gabriel asks as the himself and Magda walk down the hall.
A moment passes where the two are now on opposite sides of the couch, "Jinny.....She's fine."
"I thought she needed to talk to you badly?"
"She did, Gabriel, she's pregnant."
He looks down remembering what had happened when Magda had said she was pregnant. He was out of there before she could finish her sentence. It had been a long few years for him. Although he was sure longer for Magda.

Jinny now had one light on in her living room which gave her just enough light to glance at her phone that was now in her hand as she paces back and forth debating whether to call Theodore. This was just as good of a time as any. This was going to be the first official conversation she has had with him in the last almost 4 months. Apart from a subtle 'Hi' Theodore had said in the Station hall to her one day when she least expected it. She had been so shocked she kept walking without saying anything as did he.
After several minutes of this she finally pushes the 'Talk' button on her phone and begins to press in the numbers to Theodore. She gets to the last number,but besides pushing '7' she pushes 'Talk' shutting off the phone. Jinny then begins to pace more. Again she stops and pushes 'Talk' and again she begins to press in the numbers gets to the last number and pauses............'7' she pushes and brings the phone up to her ear. It rings once.........it rings twice......
"Hello?" Theodore answers in a low voice. Jinny could hear the television from his place in the background.
"Hello?" he asks again. "Anyone there?"
His voice somewhat calmed Jinny, but she doesn't say anything.
Theodore hangs up leaving Jinny listening to the 'beap beap beap' of the phone.
"Dammit." she says outloud and shuts her phone off again. 'I couldn't do it.' she takes another breath and turns on the phone again. This time she dials his number without stalling. Knowing what waits her on the other line.
"Hello?" Theodore answers again.
"Hey." Jinny says softly into her phone. Not knowing what to expect.
"Jinny?" Theodore asks sitting up alittle on the couch where he was sitting alone.
"Yeah, it's me. I'm sure I'm the last person you want to hear from right now,but just hear me out." she says before he could lash out at her is what she expected.
"Okay, Jinny. Go ahead." he said calm. His stomach began to feel like there was rocks just lying there. Although, he had no idea why.
"Theodore.......I.....I'm..uh"
All of a sudden Theodore hears the voice of the operator, "Be Be Be please hang up and dial again."
"Dang it ,Jinny." he said outloud and dialed her number again. He knew it by heart.
"Hello?" Jinny replied not expecting Theodore to call her back.
"Hi Jinny....Why'd you hang up? Can you please finish?"
Jinny was real surprised about how he was treating her. She expected him to be ..well....pissed and ask why she called,but he wasn't. Although she knew it was coming.
She takes a breath, "Theodore I'm pregnant."
"You're what?"
"Pregnant. I was told today."
"Yeah ,Jinny. I know we did things,but what I don't know is if it's mine."
The was the soft spot tears began to build in her eyes, "It's yours." she says trying not to let him notice she was crying.
"How? I mean I saw you in the bar, Jinny. You were obviously enjoying yourself there. I'm sure it didn't stop there."
She wipes the tears from her cheek."I know you saw me. I know,but.......It didn't go farther. I made a mistake."
"Look....." Teddy begins again knowing Jinny was upset and even crying..
"Nevermind. I just wanted you to know. This isn't my weird way of getting you back in my life. It just wouldn't have been fair if you hadn't known about your child. Now you know... I gotta go." she hangs up without letting him say anything.
Theodore now in shock and confused. Not knowing if it was his child or not. He barely hears the voice of the operator on the telephone. After questions run through his head a loud noise from the television brings him back to reality. He shuts off his phone,turns it back on and pushes 'Redial'. Pressing the phone to his ear he listens to ring after ring..... "I should have known. She's stubborn. Not going to answer the phone."

Now sitting on the couch Jinny just stares across the room at the telephone which was now on it's cradle again. It just kept ringing. She was half way tempted to pick it up. Knowing who it was,but she didn't . She just stayed like stone as tears ran down her face.

Finishing their Dinners Angela and Daniel smile across from eachother, "That was great, Angie."
"Thanks Daniel." she smiles and looks at their now empty plates.
"I better get back home." Angela says looking around at the still busy clinic.
"I'm going to see if i can get off in an hour. Dinner was great. Thanks. It beats fast food any day."
"You can thank me then." she laughs.
"Whatever else did I have in mind?" he grins at his wife. Gives her a parting kiss and disappears in the crowd of people.

"Why the hell did I do that?" Jinny thinks to herself, "How the hell did I do that?"
Still sitting on the couch the telephone had long since stopped ringing. Which Jinny had silently Thanked Theodore for. She was actually about to answer it. Her face still a bit swollen she hears a knock at the door. Glancing at her watch that read '8:30' she didn't put the two and two together until she got to the door. "It's Theodore she thought when she finally did." but still brought herself to open the door.

Her thoughts were right. There standing in front of her was Theodore.
"Hi, Jin. I realized you weren't going to answer the phone,and we really need to talk."
"Listen, I understand you don't believe me. So whats to talk about?"
"Please....I want to believe you. I do believe you. I just want to be sure. If this is my child I'll take full responsibility."
"Well obviously you don't know me as well as you think. I wouldn't lie about something this important." she begins to cry again. "Just go home. I'll be fine."
"No... I'm not going home right now." he says stepping into the house.
Jinny doesn't say anything,but just walks to the couch and hunches over, her hands to her face as she sits.
"I didn't want to do this to you." she says into her cupped hands.
"Do what to me?" he asks closing the door behind him and walking to the couch sitting beside her.
Jinny sits up, "This" she says moving her hands down.
"God, Jinny. You didn't do it yourself." he says placing his hand on her back uneasily. Not knowing if he should or not,but all he wanted was to be able to comfort her. To hold her. To make it all better,but he didn't know how ..or what to do. By instinct he reaches out and wipes her tears away.
"Just calm down so we can talk this out. There's some things I need to know." he says in a caring voice. That brought back memories for Jinny which made her cry more.
"Are you positive it's mine, Jin? You're not just guessing?" he asks the question that was haunting him ever since she had told him.
"I'm positive. Nothing since you....." she manages to reply.
"You're not just saying that?"
She shakes her head, "As for that guy in the bar." Jinny trys to sit up and wipes her face with the back of her hand, "It didn't go farther than that. I just......couldn't"
He exhales, looks into her eyes,and pauses.
"I believe you, Jinny. Although that wasn't all your fault. After I called the weekend off. I realized how bad it hurt you. Like I was trying to brush you off. God, knows I wasn't trying to do that. I love you."
Without looking at him Jinny reply's, "I do too."
"You do what?"
"I love you." she says quietly and a bit quick.
Theodore smiles for the first time since Jinny had called him,puts his hand on her back and rubs it gently to relax her. He then stops,puts his hand down on the couch and slowly moves his other to her stomach.
Jinny looked down at his hand and felt goosebumps begin to cover her body.
"So..we're going to have a baby." he says softly looking down at his hand on her stomach.
"Yeah we are,and I'm scared to death." Jinny confesses.
Theodore looks at her and moves his hand from her stomach ,his other behind her,around her. He then proceeds to sit back on the couch. Same does Jinny. His right arm around Jinny he sets his left hand on her stomach.
"You'll be okay Jinny." he rubs her tummy. "I'll help out as much as I can."
"No, That's not why I wanted to tell you. Not so I can be babied just because I am pregnant. I just ...I just wanted you to know." she sits up taking his hand off of her.
"I know, Jinny. I just want to be here for you....for the baby. Is that so much to ask?"
"You feel sorry for me. I'm just another alone pregnant woman ,but you know what. I'll do just fine. I don't want your pity."
"I don't pity you. You want to know the damn truth, Jinny. I'm glad you're pregnant. I'm glad we're going to have a baby. This is one of the happiest moments of my life. I get a baby...Not just from anyone. From someone I love. Love with all my heart. Why can't you understand that I don't pity you!!!!" he lashes back.
These words soak into her and she begins to cry. For the last 4 months. She had told herself. Nothing was going to come out of her and Theodore's once relationship. Now all of a sudden he wanted to be a part of her life again. For the baby.
"I'm sorry." she crys hunched over.
"Please, Don't cry Jinny. I always manage to make you cry. I'm sorry." Theodore says bringing her close to him as she continues to cry. Although he wasn't sure of what to make out of their relationship anymore. What he did know was he had to comfort her. After all it was his baby and he did love her still. Was just hurt.

Jinny carrying her black tote back on her shoulder her hand resting on the side of it she pushes the Restroom door open,and walks around the corner to her locker. Drops the bag on the bench and begins to open her locker when she hears the door the the restroom open. Which brings her to look over in that direction.
A familiar face comes around the corner, "Hey Jin." Magda says already beginning to take off her scarf.
"Hey Mag." Jinny reply's showing a slight smile as she continues to put stuff in her locker.
Magda stops before she gets to her locker leans over and looks under the stalls to see if they were alone then asks, "So have you decided to tell Theodore yet?"
Jinny doesn't reply quick enough before Magda comes again with , "It's the only fair thing to do, Jinny."
"I told him, Mag!" she looks at her partner.
"You did?" Magda asks backing off in her tone of voice. "What did he say?"
"We talked it out. He wants to be apart of the child's life. "
"And?"
"And what? He wants to be apart of it's life. Period."
"Oh... So uh how far along are you?"
"I figured it out last night. At the very least four months and something days."
"Wow, Jinny." Magda smiles. "You better get checked out."
"I have an appointment this afternoon. I have to ask Captain for it off. That's a joke." she says a bit sarcastic.
"So it Teddy going with you?"
"I made the appointment this morning."
"Yeah, Is Theodore going with you, Jin?"
Jinny finishes putting her stuff in the locker and turns her Black Tote to it's side,puts it in her locker,and closes the door.
"Jinny?"
"He doesn't know about it, Magda. I don't know what I should do." Jinny looks at her partner for some support.
"You should inform him at least. He may want to go."
"You think?"
"Definitely, Jin." Magda reply's closing her locker door and adjusting her gun holster.
"Fiiiine." Jinny smiles and the two leave the restroom.

(You're getting closer at finding out. hahaha)

Angela nods and looks over when she sees the door of the Division come open.
"Hey Magda." Angela says from her desk.
"Hey." Magda reply's and looks over to Captain's office knowing Jinny has to ask for the afternoon off. "Where's Cap?" she asks taking off her overcoat and placing it on the back of her chair.
Angela opens her mouth to reply. "She hasn't been in yet." C.D. reply's before her partner.
"Right." Angela adds.
"Oh, that's unlike her. " Magda sits down.
"Where's Jinny?" C.D. asks.
"Oh she had to go make a phonecall."
"Why not make it at her desk?"
Magda shrugs and looks down at her work.

Taking her cell phone from the pocket of her leather Jacket Jinny sits down on one of the chairs in the hallway,and dials Theodore's office number.
"Theodore Blumenthal. O'Conner Law Offices." he answers.
"Hi Theodore."
"Hi Jinny, you need something?" he asks.
"No, I'm fine. I uh made an appointment to go to the Doctor and get checked out today."
"That's great. Would you like me to come with?"
"Yeah, that's what I called to ask you."
"Of course I do. After all we got in this situation together."
Jinny couldn't help but laugh alittle, "That's true. The Appointment is at 12:15 this afternoon."
"Okay, I'll get if off. Do you want me to pick you up?"
"No, no thanks. I can drive."
"Okay, that's fine. So where is this place we're going?"
Jinny takes out the little scrap of paper she has the address on. "Doctor David Finkelstrin located at 3000 California Street.. "
Theodore repeats it after Jinny said it and writes it down on a tablet of paper.
"So I'll see you at 12:00 then."
"Okay... Look Theodore....Thanks."
"My Pleasure. Talk to you later, Jinny. Bye"
"Bye" She shuts her phone off, stands up,and begins down the hall to the Division door.

"So any leads on your case?" Magda turns around in her seat and asks.
"Yeah the victims neighbor signed a statement yesterday." Angela reply's.
"Apparently there was sounds of a stuggle and Leslie yelling. After a loud crashing noise. No other sound. We're bringing in Jason today to see if he has any recognition of this."
"I see, Well.." before Magda finishes Jinny walks into the Division doors. "good luck." she finishes alittle lower.
"Thanks, Magda." Angela says.
"No problem." was Mag's reply, "Hey, Jin."
C.D. watches Jinny as she walks to her desk. Once she arrives at it Jinny looks up and notices C.D. looking in her direction, "What?" was her first instinctive reaction. Before she could reply Captain walks into the Division her purse on her shoulder.
"Hey Cap are you okay?" Magda asks.
"Yeah, I'm uh, fine." Kate nods and walks to her office.
Jinny turns to her partner from looking at Kate and shrugs. Magda returns a 'Don't ask me.' look to Jinny. Jinny lifts a shoulder and drops it once again then sits down. Rolls her chair back alittle ,puts her elbow on Magda desk and rests her head in her hand, "Not such a good time to ask for this afternoon off." she jokes.
Magda looks at Jinny laughs and shakes her head, "I don't think so."
"That's what I thought." she smirks and rolls her chair back to her desk.

Angela picks up the telephone on her desk,dials a number and rests the phone to her ear as she waits.
C.D. looks across from her at Angela, "Who are you calling?" before Angela could reply the person answers.
"Hello, Mr. McLane. This is Inspector Angela Reide. We spoke yesterday about your girlfriend, Leslie's murder. Uh-huh. Well we made some headway on it,and would like you to come in to discuss some recent leads. Yeah, let's me check with my partner." she covers the mouthpeice of the telephone with her hand.
"9:00 okay?"
"That's in an hour ,Angela."
"Yeah..your point?"
"9:00 is fine."
With that Angela uncovers the mouthpeice, "9:00 is fine. We'll see you then. Thanks for your cooperation. Bye." she hangs up.

"So what's the day have in store for you two?" C.D. asks when Angela hangs up the telephone.
"Captain has us filing all day." Magda reply's.
Jinny nods and makes a face, "Her knowing it's our up-most favorite thing to do,and all."
C.D. laughs, "Yeah, I'm sure."

Kate sighs thinking about the happenings this morning that made her late for work. Jinny even was in before she was this morning. The most important thing was she was there when her mother needed her most. Her medication she had been taking for the last two weeks had backfired and she had an allergic reaction.Which Kate had been called to her Sister's at 3:00 in the morning.She was so relieved the doctor had gotten to her mother's side before the reaction increased. Otherwise, her mother wouldn't be here now.It took all Kate had to come to work and leave her mother's side,but she knew she had to.

Glancing at her watch that reads 9:30 now. C.D. then looks at her partner, "He's late."
"I know that, C.D." Angela reply's to her. "I'll give him a call."
"Okay"

There's a knock at Captain's door and she glances up to see Jinny standing in the doorway.
She lifts a hand and motions for her to come in. "What's up?"
"Hey, Listen Captain. I have a Doctor's Appointment Scheduled for 12:00 this afternoon -"
"And you need it off?"
"Well yeah, that was the idea."
Kate nods and takes off her glasses, "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, uh fine." she reply's not wanting to give Kate the news yet.
"Sure, you can have it off, Jinny. We just need to get those papers all filed before Monday."
"They will be. Thanks Captain." she turns around and walks out of the office.

Right around 10:00 Jinny stands up and walks over to the coffee machine. Magda notices this and joins her to get a cup of coffee, "So?"
Jinny gives a look as she pours her coffee, "Ooh that." she smirks. "Yeah, Theodore's meeting me there."
"See I told you." Magda reply's holding her coffee cup as Jinny pours coffee into it aswell.
"Yeah." she smiles,puts the coffee pot back and begins adding her sugar,etc.

The phone up to her ear Kate waits anxiously for an answer from her Sister's house to make sure her mother is okay. Each ring she gets more eager until finally a familiar voice asks, "Hello?"
"Hi, Pam. How's mom?" she asks a bit worried.
"Katie, she's doing really good. A lot better than this morning. She's made a lot of progress. Are you coming by later?"
"Yeah, that's really great. Of course I am."
"Good, she's been asking for us. I keep saying i'm here,but.." her voice gets alittle lower. "She just doesn't real-"
"I know..." Kate reply's looking up ,taking off her glasses as she sighs.

Allen looks up from his desk as Theodore walks in.
"I need the afternoon off for personal reasons." he says to Allen.
"Personal reasons?"
"I have an appointment."
"I see. Just let Gloria know to redirect all your phonecalls to me. I'm Prepping for court tonight,but before that I'm free."
"Thanks."
"No problem. Hope everything goes well."
"So do I." he reply's,turns around and walks out into the waiting area of the law office over to Gloria.
"Anything I can do for you, Theodore?" she asks looking up as he stops in front of her desk.
"Yeah, I'm taking the rest of the afternoon off. Direct all my phonecalls to Allen."
"Okay, will do."
"Thanks" he goes to turn around. "Please, no pages! Unless it's extremely important."
Gloria smiles, "Of course."

Back at the Division Jinny was in the bathroom getting her stuff together to leave for her appointment. Her dufflebag laying on the bench she begins to put her scarf around her neck when the bathroom door opens and in comes Magda, C.D. ,and Angela their last stop before lunch.
"Hey Jin. You comin' to lunch?" C.D. asks opening up her locker.
"No, I have an appointment. I'm taking the rest of the day off."
"You sick or somethin'?"
"No just a follow up appointment from yesterday is all."
"Ooh, Well if you get out early we'll be at Anchorside."
"Thanks!" she smiles and closes her locker.
"Good Luck, Jinny." Angela reply's sympathetic.
Jinny just nods at her as she picks up her duffle bag.
"I'll talk to you later tonight." Magda adds.
"Okay, Bye Guys! See ya later!" she waves and disappears around the corner.
All three Inspector's are quiet until the door opens and closes with Jinny leaving. They then carry on with what they were doing.

Pulling into the parkinglot Theodore glances around for Jinny's car which wasn't yet there. So he pulls into a parking spot in the front of the office,shuts off the engine,unbuckles himself and waits for her to arrive. So she wasn't left to feel like she was alone in this. Like she had. While waiting a blue car pulls up beside him and a very pregnant woman gets out and walks toward the door. He didn't mean to stare,but he just couldn't help it as he thought to himself. In a few months that'll be Jinny. It'll be his baby she's carrying. The idea was overwhelming. Before he could continue with his thoughts of the upcoming months. In his rearview mirror he sees her drive up in her Silver car,and park behind him in the second row of spaces.
With this her reaches for the handle,opens the door,and gets out.

Jinny gets out of her car and locks it. Theodore already walking over to her she looks up.
"Hi!" she says pushing her car alarm button.
"Hey"
"You're here early." she says a bit nervous looking down at her watch. "We still have 15 minutes."
"Yeah.. I know. It's good though. We can go sign in."
"True. Thanks for coming." she reply's beginning to walk toward the building.
"Of course I'd be here, Jinny. It's my child you're carrying."
"Okay, you want extra points for that or something?" she asks.
"Why are you being like this, Jinny? I want to be here."
"Great, and I have to be here. So there's something in common."
"What are you talking about?" he stops in the parkinglot.
Jinny turns around, "Look, I just don't want you to get the wrong idea. I didn't do this purposely for you to be here."
"I know!! I thought we covered this last night."
"We did just-"
This time it was his turn to interupt. "Just nothing. I want to be here, Jinny. I do."
"And I appreciate it."
"I don't have to be thanked. "

"So when did this whole Gabriel thing happen?" C.D. asks Magda.
"Oh god, not this again." she laughs. "About 4 months ago ,actually."
"I see,and I'm hearing about it now because?"
"Because there's nothing to talk about. I turned him down."
"I turned Daniel down the first time he asked me to marry him." Angela adds in.
Both C.D. and Magda look at her surprised with the her addition to the conversation.
"Mr. PHD?" Magda asks.
Angela laughs, "Yeah, I just wasn't ready for that kind of commitment. I was 22."
"And he had the guts to pop the question again after you turned him down?" C.D. laughs.
"Yeah he did."
"I would have crushed Paul's ego if I done something like that,but see what I get in return."
"Yeah. Gabriel never even had the guts to ask me the first time. Well until now."
"Well he must have matured enough."
"Yeah, that or he wants to see Benjamin more. I can't base a relationshop more less a marriage on that kind of fickle person."
"Ever thought of giving him a chance?" Angela asks.
Magda shrugs, "I have,but I'm still not so sure."

The two get to the last form and each sign the last blank.
"I'll take them up to the nurse, Jin." Theodore says taking all the papers and walking to to give them to the nurse. Once he's finished he comes back to his seat along side Jinny.
"So this is it." he says looking at Jinny whom is unusually quiet.
She nods, "Yeah." A short time later the nurse comes back out and has both Jinny and Theodore follow her back to a room. She opens a door and let's Jinny and Theodore walk in before she does...
"Okay. Miss Exstead you can get up on the table. The doctor will be right in." the nurse says taking the chart and closing the door to the room leaving Jinny and Theodore alone.
Jinny gets up on the table like she was asked,and Theodore stands beside her.
"Did you want to sit or something?" Jinny looks at him and asks.
"No, I want to stand here."
"Suit yourself."
A short time later the doctor walks in with the chart in his hand.

"I'm doin' fine."
"That's good. Your physician called me and informed me you were pregnant. Do you have any idea how far along you are?"
"Haven't a clue." Jinny reply's.
"How about an estimate."
"Umm." she looks at Theodore. Whom shifts alittle uneasily.
"Last time was about four months ago. So around that time."
"Wow, four months. Do you have an opproximate date of your last menstrual cycle?"
"Lately I haven't had one. I thought it was all the stress getting to me."
The doctor nods. "Okay well please lay back so I can take some measurements." he asks still writing down a couple things on the clipboard he's holding. Jinny lays back ,looks at Theodore. Then to the doctor. She lifts up her shirt to right below her breast line. The doctor then takes out an instrument to measure the width of her stomach. As he does so he says, "The ultra sound will tell us how far along you actually are. Within 4 to 6 days."
"Wow, they're that accurate?" she asks.
"Yeah, the medicine feild has come a long way." he reply's then looks to Theodore, "Are you the husband?"
Theodore looks down at Jinny quickly then to the doctor, "I'm the father, yes." he nods with a nervous smile.
The doctor then smiles at both of them and writes down the measurements he took. Then begins to feel her stomach to make sure everything felt okay.
"You two ready to hear the heartbeat of your baby?" he smiles and looks at the two.
"We get to hear the heartbeat?" Theodore asks alittle surprised. Not having any knowledge until that moment that they would get to hear their baby.
"Of course!" the Doctor smiles and takes out some gel and puts it on the instrument for them to hear the heartbeat. After it's ready he puts it on her stomach and begins to move it around until he picks up a sound and moves it slightly until they could hear a steady heartbeat.
"And that right there Folks is your child's heartbeat. Nice and strong!!" he says proudly.
Jinny does say anything,but just listens. Theodore is speechless,but moves his hand to rest on Jinny's as they listen to the heartbeat. Finally Theodore says under his breath, 'oh my god,jin.' Bringing her to look at him with a smile.
"This is just so-" before he could finish she reply's "I know." and smiles.
The doctor then picks the intrument off of Jinny and says, "I need to see you in a month for your next appointment, but I will be in after Rebecca finishes giving you the ultrasound so I can see the baby myself."
"Great, Thanks a lot. Doctor."

The bill for the three Inspector's lunches come. Each glance at it and toss down some money for their lunch. Even before they're finished eating.
"I'll get the tip this time, Guys." Magda says.
"Thanks, Mag." Angela says.
"Yeah, thanks." C.D. adds after her partner.
"No problem."
"Hopefully when we get back we can get ahold of Jason McLane" Angela says looking to her partner before she puts a french fry in her mouth.
"Yeah, tell me about it. He sure as hell doesn't keep appointments."
"We know that now."
"So, who's this Jason guy?" Magda asks.
"Ooh he's our victims boyfriend." C.D. reply's.
"Also our number one suspect." Angela adds.
"That too."
"Wow, so you think he did it?"
"His next door neighbor signed a statement yesterday. All fingers point to him." Angela reply's.
Magda picks up her soda and takes a sip from the straw. "Wish ya luck then."
"Yeah. Thanks." C.D. says sitting back in her chair. "Well I'm finished."
Angela looks at her watch, "We should get back."
"What time do you got?" Magda asks.
"12:45. We didn't get out of the station until 20 after not too bad." Angela says.
"Yeah we better get back." Magda reply's tossing down her napkin on her plate and standing up.
Before they leave Magda drops and extra 5 bucks on the table for the tip.

The nurse then arrives back in the room to escort them to the room where the ultra sound will be taken. They walk down the hall aways then arrive at a dimly lit room. The nurse then leaves them with the Ultra Sound Technician.
"Hello, My names Rebecca. Just get up on the table, and we'll get this going." she smiles.
Jinny does the same as she did in the last room and gets up on the table and lyes down. Pulls her shirt up below her breast line again,and her pants down to expose her whole stomach. Theodore stands beside her. His hand resting on her arm gently.
The Technician takes a cloth paper and tucks it into Jinny's pants to cover them from the gel.
"Would you like a tape of your baby?" the Technician asks looking at the two.
"Absolutely!" Theodore reply's before Jinny could say anything. Jinny couldn't help,but laugh alittle.
"Okay." the woman smiles and puts some warm gel on Jinny's stomach, takes the Ultra Sound intrument which was like a hand scanner. Then begins gliding it on Jinny's stomach until she comes across an image.

"There's your baby." the Technician looks at them and smiles, "Now, I have to take some measurements of the baby to see how far along you actually are."
While Rebecca the Technician takes some measurements.
Theodore and Jinny study the screen.
"There's an arm." Jinny says with a smile as the arm moves alittle. She points at the screen then looks over to Theodore. To see his reaction.
"Right there's the head." Theodore says with a bit of excitement in his voice and he makes a little circle motion with his finger as he points. "I think" he laughs alittle.
"I see it." Jinny reply's with a grin.
"This is so great." Theodore says reaching down taking Jinny's hand in his. He leans over and kisses her gently on the lips. The first time in four months.
The technician finishes and turns around right after they break the kiss off, "I take it this is your first time seeing your child?"
"Yeah." Jinny smiles.
She looks down at the measurements and calculates them out,"You are 16 weeks and 2 days along..." the Tech says. "Your baby is 4.5 inchs in length and weighs almost 3 ounces."
"I can't believe all this is happening." Theodore says still holding Jinny's hand.
"Tell me about it. I've been carrying this baby for over 16 weeks,and I didn't even know about it."
The tech laughs, "You had no clue?"
"Nope not a clue." Jinny shakes her head, "I wish I had."
"Okay, well." the Tech begins. "We can start the tape now." She pushes a button and the tape begins and so does the Tech. "Right here's the heartbeat." she points it out. "Right here." she glides her finger down the screen. "Is the spinal cord...Here's the head, the arms,and the legs." she points out each thing.
"This is amazing." Jinny says.
"So would you like to know the sex of your child? Although it's not definite through a Ultra Sound,but I can pretty much tell you."
"Yes" Theodore reply's
"No" Jinny says almost the same time.
The two look at eachother.
"So which is it going to be?"
"No." Jinny reply's again
"Yes" Theodore says,
The two laugh.
"Well?" the Tech asks again and laughs as she takes this time to take some pictures.
"Sure okay. We can know." Jinny says with a smile.
"No we don't have to Jinny. It's okay."
"We're going to find out the sex, Theodore!" Jinny laughs and shakes her head. "So? What is it?"
The tech looks at them, "You two have a daughter."
"How the heck do you you figure that out?" Jinny asks.
"Easily. Right there she is." the Woman points. She pushes a button to take pictures for them.
"Ooh, wow." Jinny says.
Theodore grins, "A daughter." is all he says and continues watching her in the monitor.
The tech continues taking pictures as the couple watches their baby.
"Your daughter is very active,but you won't begin feeling her for another month to six weeks. When you do start feeling her. It will feel like butterflies."
She tears off the pictures from the machine and hands all of them to Jinny. Whom begins looking through them and Theodore looks over her shoulder.
"Well I will go get the doctor for you. " the Tech takes off the cloths from Jinny's pants and hands it to her. "You can wash off with this." she turns and leaves the room
"Thanks." Jinny and Theodore call after her. Then looking back down to the pictures.
Theodore takes one,opens his wallet and places it in his photo area of his wallet. Then lowers it down so Jinny can see.
"That's sweet." Jinny grins.

"Outstanding!" Theodore reply's.
"Yeah really great." Jinny adds
The doctor takes out a wheel shaped intrument and studies it then looks up at the two parents, "Your child was conceived June 10th."
Jinny looks at Theodore and smirks, "Your birthday." He nods with a grin.
"Your baby is due March 3rd."
"The 3rd." Jinny nods looking up to Theodore.
"So you have any questions?" the doc asks.
"Yes, I do. Jinny's and Inspector I was wondering if she has any restrictions."
The doctor shakes his head, "As long as she doesn't have any pain. She shouldn't have to go on deskwork for alittle while still."
Theodore nods, "I see."
"Also you can continue to make love up until the last couple months. That's if both of you are still up for it by then."
"Are you sure? I mean.. it won't hurt the baby will it?" Theodore asks.
Jinny looks alittle surprised by this. They hadn't been talking now all of a sudden he's asking questions about this subject,but she doesn't say anything. Just waits for a reply.
"No not at all. It's completely healthy."
Teddy nods..and trys to think of any other question he may have.
"Let me write you a prescription for your Prenatal Vitamins." The doctor walks over to a counter ,takes out a note pad,and writes the prescription down rips it off and hands it to Jinny. "The more calcium you can the better. Drink a lot of milk. The more the better."
"Great, I'll remember that." Jinny nods and gets up from the table.
"Well you're good to go." the three begin walking toward the door.
"Oh,We need the tape from the Ultra sound." Theodore says turning around and getting it from the vcr recorder.

Kate comes out of her office her coat open and her purse on her shoulder.
"Hey Cap where ya headin'?"
"Oh, I'm taking the rest of the day off. My mom's uh- having alittle trouble. Is everything under control here?" she looks around at her inspectors.
"Yeah,definitely, Cap. Hope everything is okay with your mom." Magda reply's
"Yeah, everything is good" C.D. adds
"Hope everything works out."
"So do I." Kate reply's looking worried. "Bye" she says heading for the door.
Many goodbyes and good lucks follow her out the door.

Theodore opens the door for Jinny as they leave the building.
"So uh- You hungry?" Theodore ask when they get completely outside.
"Yeah I am. I missed lunch today."
"So did I. Hey why don't I stop by and grab some Chinese food and bring it over to your place?"
"Sure that'll be great." Jinny nods. "So I'll see you alittle later."
"Uh yeah." he smiles.
Jinny turns around and begins to walk to her car. Holding the prescription ,the video tape,and the pictures. Theodore walks after her, "Jinny." he says.
"What?" she turns around.
"Thanks for letting me be here."
"Like you said I didn't do it alone." she smiles at him.
He laughs and nods, "Yeah that's true. Wow, my birthday." he shakes his head. "I wouldn't have ever thought."
"I know. " Jinny smiles.
"Well uh anyways. I'll see you soon."
"Right."
"Bye"

Jason walks through the station door and looks around for C.D. He then spots her straight in front of him. Looking down at some papers.
"C.D." Angela says to her partner to make her realize Jason was Finally there. C.D. glances at her partner, "What?" she then looks to her right and sees Jason.
"Jason." she says as she stands.
"Yeah, you say you wanted to meet with me to discuss Leslie's murder?"
"Yes we do." C.D. reply's.
"What happen to 9:00?" Angela asks.
"I had some car trouble."
"Okay, right his way." C.D. reply's walking toward an observation room. Angela being Jason.

Jinny walks down the hall to her apartment with a small brown paper bag with her presciption in it. She arrives at her apartment door ,grabs her keys from her coat pocket,and unlocks the door. Once she's inside she closes the door behind her and puts her keys,the presciption,the video tape,and pictures on the desk near the door,she takes off her coat and hangs it on the hook. Jinny then takes the prescription and walks into the kitchen. Before she gets to her cupboard to put it away someone knocks at the door. So she turns around and puts the Vitamins on the table still in the bag and goes to answer the door.
When Jinny opens the front door she sees Theodore With a plastic bag containing Chinese food, and another paper bag in his arm.
"Hey Theodore!" she says and opens the door wider for him to come in. "You know. You didn't have to bring so much." Jinny adds as he walks past. She tries to take the bag of Chinese food from him to help him out alittle.
"No, I got it. Thanks, Jin." Theodore reply's walking past her to the table where he sits everything down. Jinny walks over and stands near the table. Teddy then begins to unload the contents in the paper bag. He first takes out a gallon of Whole Milk. "I uh wasn't sure if you had any milk. So I thought I'd pick you up some."

I think I feel some romance coming in this story...*giggles* WHOANESS... ACK ACK ACK...

Jinny laughs as she takes it from the table where he sets it, "A half a gallon,actually." she reply's and disappears into the kitchen as she puts it away.
Theodore then takes out a magazine,puts its on the table and begins to fold the paper bag and walk into the kitchen to place it where Jinny keeps her bags. When Jinny walks back out to the table she notices the magazine and reads it's title, "Healthy Pregnancy." she gives a look then smiles and shakes her head.
By the time Theodore comes back out of the kitchen Jinny is walking back in with her Pre-natal Vitamins in hand.
"Oh you got it filled. I was wondering about that."
"Yeah I had just gotten home right before you came."
"Good timing then." he smiles and walks back out of the kitchen and begins to set out the chinese food.

"Jason, can you please go over what happened in the apartment when your girlfriend was murdered. Anything that you heard or saw would be extremely helpful."
"Uh-yeah. Sure." Jason reply's to C.D. "Like I said before. I was in the living room when I heard a noise,and went to go check on Leslie. When I found her she was already on the floor of the bathroom."
"You didn't see anyone that could have done this?" Angela asks.
"That's Correct."
"Had you an Leslie when getting along before her Murder?" C.D.questions.
"What does this have to do with her murder?"
"Answer the question, Jason."
"Yeah,in a matter of fact we were."
"So no fights within three days?"
"You got it."
C.D. shifts her weight from one foot to another as she sits on the corner of the table. Angela seated in the chair across from the man. C.D. looks at her partner.
"Then can you explain the shouting and crashing one of your neighbors heard the night before?"
"I can't believe this. You think I killed my girlfriend?"
"We're exploring the possibility."

Sitting on the couch now side by side Theodore and Jinny have their Chinese food dishes out and are eating it.
"Wasn't it amazing. I mean seeing our daughter for the first time?" Theodore asks before taking another bite of his lunch.
"I know. I mean it seems all so real now. Yesterday it was like. 'I'm pregnant?" Now it's more.." she shakes her head as she tries to find the words to describe. "It's real. There is actually another life in side of me."
Theodore places his hand on her back, "I have miss you, Jinny." he smiles at her.
"I have you to,but for all this time I've had a part of you with me." she shakes her head. "It's unbelievable. I never imagined."
Jinny finishes her lunch and sits back on the sofa and begins to think of the days happenings.
"Look, Theodore." Jinny stops for a minute. "I want to apoligize. I never meant to hurt you. Just that day in the parkinglot. I had thought it over, and I was prepared to tell you I was going with you for the weekend. Then it was like after all the coaxing i did to myself and it was like you changed your mind. Like I took too long decide."
"Jin, god. If you had just told me. We may have been able to talk it out, but you just left me there. Then that night..." he pauses. " I saw you in the corner. With some other guy. How do you think that made me feel? I had put everything on the line that day telling you I loved you, but I needed you to know how I felt. Then it seemed as if it all had backfired. Like I had lost my chance. After all that time I spent with you. Had some how disappeared. I love you, Jinny. I never stopped."

Angela arrived at the apartment after a long day at work. Jason had shown up late by several hours. Angela just wanted to take a nice hot bath, eat something and go to bed. She had finally reached her door and inserted the key. She opened the door to hear soft music playing and wondered if Daniel was home. The lights were off and she could smell something good coming from the kitchen. Angela followed the scent and as she turned the corner to the dining room she couldn't believe what lay before her. There in front of her was a very romantic meal accompanied by candles and the whole 9 yards. Daniel must have gotten off work early tonight. She proceeded to walk towards the kitchen when Daniel came out. "You are early Angie, I wanted everything to be prefect before you got here." Daniel said. "Did you get off early and why the romantic dinner?" Angela asked. "Yes I got off early and the romantic dinner is just cause I love you Angie, now go take a hot bath while I finish up the dinner." Daniel said. "Are you sure you don't want me to help?" Angela asked. Daniel walked up to Angela leaned down and gave her a passionate kiss. When he broke the kiss he said, "I have everything under control Angie go take your bath."

Opening the door to her apartment Magda walks in and finds Benjamin asleep on the couch. "Gabe?" she asks as she closes the door gently as not to wake up Ben.
"In here Magda." Gabriel says from the kitchen.
Magda gives a slight look and drops the keys on the side table as she walks toward the kitchen. She turns and sees Gabriel doing the dishes.
"What are you doing that for?"
"Oh, I made Ben something to eat before he fell asleep. So I thought I'd clean up the mess."
Magda gives a look. "Well, thanks then, Gabriel. You know you didn't have to though"
"I know" he reply's shutting off the water and drying his hands off. "How was work?"
She sighs, "Good, Cap had us filing papers all day."
"Any news on Jinny yet?"
"No I haven't heard from her. I'll probably give her a call tomorrow."

Now laying back on the couch. Theodore's arm around Jinny and his hand resting gently on her stomach. His feet placed on the ground her legs across the couch in a resting position.
"What do you think of Jessica?" Theodore asks out of no where.
"What?" she looks up at him. Then looks down, "Oh for a name." Jinny shrugs, "I'm not sure." she thinks for a moment. "What about Teresa?"
"Teresa?" Theodore asks. "It's alright."

CD pulled up outside her apartment. She turned off the car and got out and retrieved the sack on the front seat that contained her supper. She locked the door and walked towards the entrance of her apartment. It was getting dark out and she was tired. She just wanted to eat her supper and go to bed. Since Paul had been out of her life she hadn't really felt like doing much else after work. She walked into the entrance and down the hallway towards her apartment. She was thinking maybe soon things would start to get back to normal. Life was quite different now her routine was always the same she would get off work, grab a bite to eat and go to bed. She unlocked her door and entered the dark lonely place that was her home. CD sat the sack down on the table as she went to get something to drink out of the kitchen. CD returned with a water, turned on the television and began to eat her dinner in silence.

Ok. So I died in my sleep, and when I come back...there is nothing to revive me! I seriously think you are secretly trying to kill me.

Okay guys..this is a lot. This is the whole first romance scene.

Walking back into the room that Pam, her sister had for their mother now. Kate sighs as she walks over to her mother and sits beside her bed and takes her mother's hand in hers. Pam comes in with a glass of water and walks over to her sister.
"You okay, Katie?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Kate says looking from Pam to her hand that was holding her mother's. Her sister comes closer and puts her hand gently to Kate's back.
"She's improved a lot since this morning."
"I know." she reply's not taking her eyes off her mother. As she tightens her grip on her mother's hand as if not to ever let go of her.

The couple still lying on the couch like before,but this time in silence as each thought to themselves. When Theodore breaks the silence by saying in almost a whisper, "Jinny."
Jinny turns slightly and looks at him, but doesn't say a word. He leans down and gently gives her a kiss that lingers. Feeling it become more passionate Jinny sits up more and turns to face him slowly. Her hand moves to his cheek as they continue to kiss one another. Theodore's hand goes to her knee as they both lean in. As the kiss begins to become more serious Jinny moves her hand to his arm and gently glides it down to take his hand as she kisses him a last time and begins to stand up. He follows her lead and stands right after her.
Their bodies close Jinny moves her hand to hold on to his as she reaches up to brush her free hand across his face ,they look into eachothers eyes. Jinny then leans up and kisses him softly on the lips.. Taking his hand she moves back slowly with him right with her.. Jinny moves her arms so they are around him and Theodore leans down and kisses her passionately. She then begins to follow his lead toward the hall. He moves his hand to rest on her hip. He steps forward bringing her to step backward. Jinny breaks off the kiss,looks at the buttons on his shirt, but comes back to him with another passionate kiss before she looks down again and undoes the rest of the buttons she needs. Then pulls it up over his head leaving him shirtless before they enter the hall. Jinny runs her hands up his bare chest as they take a few steps into the hall then back down slowly. After, she reaches back up to his cheek and places her other hand above his heart. Theodore moves his hands to her hips gently and runs them up underneith her shirt on her sides. He feels bumps come up on her back as he does so,but continues to rubs his hand over her bare skin slowly as they kiss making it into the bedroom. They move over to the bed..break off the kiss as Theodore sits back on the bed. Before he is layed down Jinny comes slowly over him and rests her body on his,and begins the kiss again. Teddy then reaches up and pulls her shirt up from underneith her, breaks off the kiss,and takes the shirt over her head. He drops it beside them leaving her covered by her bra. As she lay on top of him. Flesh againt flesh. They could feel the warmth of eachother as Jinny moves off of him to the side and lays on her back. Instead of Theodore switching places with her at that moment. He scoots closer to her the front of him pressed against her side. He puts his elbow down and rests his head in his hand as he looks at Jinny. Teddy then runs his finger tips gently over her stomach. Looking down at her bare stomach he puts his hand flat and glides his thumb back and forth.. He could feel Jinny's heart beat under his palm.
Theodore then begins to speak to his child with a soft voice, "I'm your daddy,honey." he begins as he continues to move his thumb slowly. "Your mother and I are glad you've come into our lives,a nd I couldn't be happier cause I love your mother very much, and you mother said she loves me. You are going to be very loved sweetheart." Theodore finishes,leans down,and kisses her belly softly. He then looks up to see Jinny smiling and a tear run down the side of her face. Realizing how much love Theodore already had for their child.
Teddy smiles back at Jinny then kisses her stomach and makes his way up to her mouth.

It was half past 12 a.m., and Kate still sat next to her mother's bed. Watching her sleep so peacefully. She stared at her mother and many thoughts rolled through her head. She thought back to when she was little. Her first badge wasn't given to her from her Captain. It was by her mother. Sure, it may not have been Official, but it meant a great deal to her at the time. She had never asked her mother for it. Somehow she had just known that's what she wanted. Kate smiled at this thought.

The next morning Standing over her grill Magda poured the pancake badder on. When someone knocks on the door. "Benjamin, Can you answer that? It's probably your father. Make sure though."
"I know,Mom!" Ben reply's and pushes his stool out from underneith the desk ,pushes it to the door and gets up on it to look through the peep hole.
"Papi!" he says and jumps off. Magda laughs and shakes her head when she hears this.
Ben moves the stool out of the way,unlocks,and opens the door quickly!
"Hey!!" he says excited.
"Hey Ben!" Gabriel says with a grin as he walks in and closes the door behind him. "You ready for the ballgame? We got a big day ahead of us!"
"Are you kidding? He's been talking about it all week!" Magda reply's from the kitchen.

The morning sun came through the thin curtains covering the window. Lightening the room with a warm morning feel. Theodore lay his arms wrapped around Jinny. Perfectly content holding her as she slept. Watching the even rhythm of her breathing. He smiled to himself as he watched her, and thought he could lay like this forever. When Jinny begins to stir. With his free hand he pulls the blankets up alittle further on her thinking she may be cold. Still not awake Jinny shifts alittle and puts her hand on Theodore's bare stomach,and cuddles up toward him. Feeling his warmth. Theodore moves his hand to rest on hers as she begins to wake from a now lite sleep.
Jinny opens her eyes alittle and blinks a few times trying to wake up. She then looks up at Theodore with a smile.
"Good Morning." he smiles down at her.
"Morning." she reply's back as she reaches up and rubs her eyes.
Jinny inhales deeply and lets it out.
"You sleep well?" Theodore asks softly.
"How couldn't I have?" she smiles.

The waffles pop up from the toaster. The sound letting C.D. know they were finished. She continues getting out the syrup and butter and placing them on the table. Then walks over to the toaster,plate in hand and grabs one waffle and drops it on her plate then the other.
Her house was so quiet which gave her a sense of relaxation. From how it used to be. Paul coming home at who know's what time of day,and not knowing what he had been doing or where he was all night. Now that she was left by herself. Knowing Paul wasn't going to be strutting in the door any second smelling like cheap cologne she sighed. Not as if she missed it or him for that matter. She sighed knowing her marriage was over,and had to trust someone else one day or another. Which she hoped would be awhile away. It had to be.

Still lying in bed Theodore looks down at Jinny, "I think I may go take a shower. Do you mind?"
"No of course not, go ahead. I may decide to join you." she looks up at him, "You know. To conserve water and all."
Theodore leans down and kisses her softly, "That's a good idea." he smiles at her. "To conserve water."
Jinny couldn't help but laugh, "I thought so." she leans up and kisses him again. Feeling the kiss get more passionate Theodore breaks it off, "Maybe we should take this to the bathroom."
"Okay by me." Jinny smiles. Theodore gets up from the bed and exstends his hand out to Jinny. Whom takes it, and Teddy helps her up into an embrace. She leans up again and kisses him. The two begin to back up towards the bathroom ,and closes the door......The water is turned on.

"Katie...Katie" Pam says shaking her sister whom had fallen asleep by their mother's bed the night before.
"Oh, Hey." Kate reply's running her hand over her face, "I must have fallen asleep."
"Yeah, It's 9:00. Breakfast is on the table."
"Great....." Kate looks over at her mother then to her sister. "I'll be right there."
"Okay,hun." Pam reply's and walks back out of the room.
She takes her mom's hand, "Mom, I'll be right back." Kate says in almost a whisper,and gets up from the chair. Walks over to the door then turns back around to look at her mother before she disappears down the hall.

Theodore opens the bathroom door and comes out dressed. He walks down the hall leaving the bathroom door open. He walks down the hall through the living room into the kitchen.
Shortly after Jinny comes out drying her hair still. She looks into the bedroom.
"Where are you?" she asks walking down the hall.
"In here." Theodore reply's.
Jinny arrives in the kitchen and sees Theodore leaning over looking into the refrigerator.
"Hey" Jinny reply's walking over.
"Hey..You hungry? You're eating for two you know." he smiles.
"Actually I am."
"Great, I'll make breakfast. How does Toast, Eggs,and Hash Browns sound to you?"
She nods, "Sounds good to me."
"Good." Theodore begins taking our the stuff. He knew his way around the kitchen.
Jinny walks over and grabs the egg carton out of the refrigerator. As Theodore picks out some potatoes.

Smearing the Cream Cheese over her warm bagel in the kitchen Angela glances around her house. Daniel had left for work about 3 hours earlier after getting a page. Their was an Emergency and he had to be there. So he had gotten dressed and left quickly after giving Angela a kiss goodbye. She'd been up since then,and had just gotten around to getting breakfast.
Angela takes a bite from the bagel,goes back into the living room,lies back down on the sofa,and clicks on the television.

Jinny moves the Spatula through the eggs in the pan. She sighs opens the cupboard above her and takes out a bag of pretzels. Theodore glances over and smiles as he fixes the hashbrowns.
"You hungry?" he asks looking at the bag of pretzels.
Jinny looks down at the pretzels..and shrugs, "I just wanted some." she picks up the bag and motions it to Theodore, "Want some?" she asks.
He shakes his head, "No,no thanks,Jinny" he smiles, leans over and kisses her forehead. She smiles, picks up the plate from beside her on the counter and pushes the eggs onto it.
"Those look great.."
"Thanks." she pops another pretzel in her mouth.

Reaching out C.D. adjusts the water nosels of her shower,and puts her hand under the water. Then adjusts the temperature again,and does the same. This time the water was the right temperature she pulls up the switch and the water shuts off from the bottom and begins to come out the shower head. She pulls the shower curtain across the shower area. Steps back closes the bathroom door and looks into the mirror before beginning to undress.

NOW MIRANDA, NOW!!! i guess Jin's gettin' those cravings already..lol

Okay,sorry it's taking me so long lately to add more.

Sitting across from eachother at the table in front of the large window in the living room/dining room. Jinny sat eating alone. Theodore's plate across from her on the table practically finished. Teddy comes from the kitchen with a full glass of milk for the two of them.
"I almost forgot...Milk." he Smiles.
"Oh, of course. Can't forget that." Jinny laughs.
Theodore sets a glass down in front of her and one down near his plate. Jinny takes another bite of her food and then takes a sip of the milk. She makes a face to see Theodore's reaction.
"What's wrong? Is it okay?" he asks taking a sip of his then looks back at her. "It's fine."
Jinny laughs.. "I know it is." she smiles at him.
"Jinny.." he gives her a look ,shakes his head and laughs alittle. "You're going to make this hard on me aren't you?" he jokes.
"Depends.." she smirks.
"Oh?" he chuckles. "On, uh what?"
"If you-" she begins ,but is interupted by someone knocking on the door.
"If I what?"
"Nothing." she smirks and gets up from her seat to check the door leaving Theodore sitting. Wondering what she was going to say.
Jinny opens the front door and sees Magda standing in front of her.
"Hey Mag.." she smiles and moves aside for her to come in.
"Hi Jin" she says walking in and seeing Theodore at the table, "Hey Teddy....Did I come at a bad time? "
"Hey Magda." he smiles.
"No,Mag of course not. Where's Ben?" Jinny asks closing the door.
"We've got some left overs in the kitchen." Theodore points behind him.
" No thanks,guys.. I just ate before I came." she reply's then adds, "Ooh, Gabriel took him to a Baseball game." she lifts her eyebrows with a grin,takes off her coat and hangs it up.
"That was nice of him." Jinny smiles and walks back over to the table and picks up her plate to take it to the kitchen. "Finished?" she asks Theodore before she passes him.
Teddy looks down at his plate ,"Um ,Yeah." he smiles and begins to get up to take it into the kitchen.
"I can get it." she takes up the plate and walks into the kitchen.
"Jin, I could have-"
She cuts him off when she walks back into where him and Magda were, "I know."

Kate walked into the dining room she knew they were having French toast for she had smelled it from down the hall. One thing her sister had some of the best cooks in her staff. She was not really hungry but she knew she had to eat to keep up her strength. This was taking its toll on her. "Pam, you didn't have to go to all the trouble. Coffee and toast would have been just fine with me." Kate said as she took a seat at the table. "It was no trouble Katie." Pam replied. Kate was relieved that it was just her sister she didn't think she could deal with any one else right now. Kate looked at her sister and said "Mom is doing better than yesterday at least." Pam replied, "Yes she is. Mom will get better but she will never be like she used to be Katie, you know that right?" "Yes I know that Pam, I am just not ready to let her go yet you know." Kate replied. "I know Katie, I am not either." Pam said. They eat the rest of their breakfast in silence each lost in their own thoughts of their mother.

"Sit." Jinny says looking at Magda whom was still standing beside the table.
Magda looks at Jinny and laughs then sits down at the table aswell, "So..How did the appointment yesterday go?" She looks from Jinny to Theodore with a smiles, "I assume well?"
"Everything is great." Jinny reply's.
"I'm going to be a father." Theodore gives a smile.
Magda grins at the two happy Parents-To-Be. "That's so great guys..." she looks at the two, "Details?" she asks jokingly when the two doesn't say something quickly enough.
"It's a Girl." Theodore beams.
"Aww.." Magda smiles at Theodore seeing how happy he was. It was a big change from just a few days ago when Jinny had snapped at her about Theodore. A baby..their baby brought them together. Or at least on speaking terms Magda thought. Not knowing any specific details.
"I'm 16 weeks and 3 days along." Jinny adds into the conversation.
"Want to see the video?" Theodore ask right after Jinny finishes.
Magda laughs at the anxiousness of the two, "Sure." she grins.

Angela reclines across the sofa as she flips through the channels on the tv. Sighs and flips the television dial off. Since Daniel wasn't home and she wasn't expecting him home for quite awhile still. She turns slightly and picks the telephone up from behind her on the intable beside the couch. Pushing the 'Talk' button Angela then continues and dials C.D.'s number. Knowing she was home. After all where would she be? She listens to the rings and waits patiently for an answer.

"I'll go grab the tape." Theodore reply's and walks down the hall into the bedroom.
Magda sees him disappear into the bedroom before sitting down on the couch next to Jinny whom had just sat down herself. 'Wonder how he knew where it was' Magda thinks to herself,but shrugs it off. Not quite grasping the situation yet.
Theodore arrives back in the living tape in hand. "Got it" he says proudly waving it slightly in the air before he inserts it into the VCR. He then turns on the television and makes his way to the couch and sits next to Jinny whom has the VCR control in her hand. She pushes 'play' and the video begins.
Magda's reaction was priceless, "Oh my god, Jin!" she lifts her hand to her mouth. Like reality had just hit her.
"That her." Jinny smiles. Then looks at Magda.
Magda didn't know what to say but shakes her head with a grin, "That's so great.." she says still shocked. Although she had known Jinny was pregnant longer than Theodore had. It just now all seemed so real. Her partner. Her best friend was going to be a mother.
"There's her little arm." Theodore says pointing at the Television screen with a smile. Everytime he saw the form of his daughter he was overcome.

C.D. glances around her living room for the telephone. She heard it ringing,but couldn't manage to find it. Finally she stops and listens...then walks over to her couch and picks up the pillow and their lays her phone. She picks it up and answers it. "Hello?"
"Oh, hey Angela.....Yeah,but where's Daniel? ......Oooh, he's been working a lot lately. Sure. I'm free for lunch. That'd be great..... You picking up the tab?" C.D. laughs. "I was joking. Okay..What time? ............Okay that's good. Bye"

"She's so cute, Jinny." Magda says watching the outline of baby move slightly in the video. "I remember my ultra sound with Ben." she grins. "Now look at him."
"I know,but he's such a great kid, Mag." Jinny smiles.
"Yeah I know he is." she grins, "You have a proud father for your baby though." Magda reply's looking over at Theodore whom was still watching the screen.
Jinny looks and couldn't manage not to laugh. "Yeah."
"I'm happy for you guys. So happy."
"Thanks, Magda." Theodore looks over and smiles. "Hey I just remembered about something." he adds and stands up. "I'll be right back." he grabs his jacket from the hook near the door.
"Hey hey,where are you goin'?" Jin says in a playful voice from his subtle reaction.
"I can't tell you."
"Ooh you can't,huh?" she jokes, "Fine, just no more milk!"
"Funny" he laughs and walks out the door closing it behind him.

"So, what's the deal?" Magda asks when Theodore is out of the apartment.
"What deal?"
"You and Teddy. You're awful close all of a sudden. You have anything you want to tell me?" Magda gives her a half smirk half grin.
"No." Jinny reply's with a smile.
"Come on, Jin."
"Fine..." she smirks. "We're back together."
Magda looks at her for a second, "Oh,How?"
"It just... happened..."
"Happened?"
Jinny laughs, "Yeah, Last night actually."
"Jinny!" Magda reply's surprised she said that.
"Well you asked."
"I know,but really!" she laughs.
Jinny laughs, "Well"
"Since you brought it up..." Magda pauses..." How was it?"
"Magda! You think you should know everything?" Jinny smirks
"Of course."
Jinny gives her partner a look and smirks, "Excellent."
"Oooooh." Magda couldn't help but grin.
"I know."
Theodore opens the door and comes in with his jacket around him,and something underneith it. Jinny looks from Magda up to Theodore whom had just closed the door.. "So what had you forgotten?"
At the moment he pulls a Cute Little teddy bear from benieth his jacket.
"Awwww.." Magda couldn't help herself.
"It's for the baby" he grins.
"I can see that." Jin nods with a smile, "It's cute." she reaches out for it,and he hands it to her as he takes off his coat.
"So..uh I was thinking. Maybe we could go over to my parents tonight."
Jinny looks up from admiring the little stuffed animal, "For?"
"To tell them, Jin."
Before Jinny could answer Magda stands up from the sofa, "I think I've better get going." she smiles. "I'm really glad everything went well yesterday."
"Thanks Mag." Jinny reply's.
Theodore hands Magda her coat before she opens the door.
"I'll talk to you later!" She smiles "Bye"
"Bye Magda" Theodore says
"Bye Mag" Jinny adds as Magda closes the door behind her.
Now the attention on eachother Theodore looks back at Jinny, "So what do you say?"
"Why so soon?"
"Why not?"
"Listen, the last time I saw them. I didn't exactly make the best impression. Now the next time I see them we're telling them I'm pregnant. Four months in fact."
"Well they have to know,Jinny. Besides what can they say? We can't have it. Give me a break."
"I'm sure it's safe to say if they already don't hate me they will now."
"They'll just have to get over it. They will be seeing a lot of us."
"Great." Jinny reply's sarcastically.
"We're giving them their first grandchild."
"Unmarried."
"So!?"
"I'm sure they will find an answer to that."
"Jinny, Listen..." He walks over and puts his hands on her shoulders, "Whatever they say. This is our baby. They can't make us feel bad for having a baby. Whom will be born into a lot of love."
She smiles slightly, "Fine. I will go,but I don't want to."
"I knew you would." he leans down and kisses her forehead.

Kate now stood against a wall in her mother's room of Pam's house...She just watched her in silence. 'I can't stand to think about losing her' she thought to herself,but deep down she knew she had to come to terms with it. She wasn't exactly a teenager anymore herself. Her mother had had a good life,but had slowly slipped away since their father died a few years back. Kate sighs and looks over toward the open door where she had heard the clicking of shoes on the wooden floor in the hall.
The clicking gets louder as the woman approaches. Then in the doorway standing was Pam, "How's she doing?" she asks in a low voice to her sister.
"She's okay." Kate forces a smile to her sister. "Are you going to stay in here with her for awhile? I need to run home and change."
"Katie, staring at her isn't going to bring our mother back to life."
"I know,Pam. I-I just don't want her to be in here all alone. God knows how boring that must be. She can't get up and do anything. How would you like it if all you had to do was stare at the ceiling for hours on end."
"I understand that,but do you really think-"
"No,Pam. I know she knows we're here. I feel it. " Kate gives her sister a look
"Okay..I will stay in here with her." Pam walks over beside her mother looked at her then turned her head, "Katie" she began to cry. "I hate to see her like this."
"I know." she walks over to her sister places her hand on her back and gently moves it back and forth.

Opening the bottom drawer of her dresser Jinny takes out a long sleeved blue shirt and tosses it onto her bed. Looks down at the pants that she had on, 'These are fine' she figured.
Theodore was sitting on the bed leaning over putting on his shoes, "So , what did you mean earlier?"
"What?" Jinny asks looking at him her eyes squinted a bit.
"You never finished your sentence before that you started before Magda came."
She smirks at him, "Oh, that." she lifts up the shirt she has on, slides it over her head and walks over to her dresser to grab something trying to avoid eye contact with Theodore.
"So, finish." he laughs slightly as he finishes tieing his shoe,and gets up.
"Well..." she looks at him from the other side of the bed, "Can you hand me that?" she points to the shirt on the bed.
Teddy picks it up, "Sure, if you tell me what you were going to say."
"It was nothing." She laughs and walks over to get it from him.
"Come on, Jinny." he moves her shirt away from her.
"Fine..Let me have the shirt."
"Will you tell me?" he smiles.
"Sure I will."
"Jinny....."
"Okay, I will."
Theodore gives in and hands Jinny her shirt. "So?"
She grins at him and holds her shirt against her. "I was replying to what you said. You know...you said..You're going to make this hard on me aren't you? Or something to that effect. I was going to say. " she smirks. "It depends on if you make it hard on me."
Teddy smirks and gives her a look, "I see." and walks over to her.
Her hand drops to her side..her shirt still grasped in it.
"So" he clears his throat a bit, "What did you have in mind."
She grins, "You tell me."
"Well..." he places his hand on her shoulder gently and kisses her passionately. Her close to him. Jin reaches up and rests her hand on his cheek. The kiss is broken off and the two look at one another. Theodore runs his hand down her arm to her side. This time Jinny reaches up and begins the kiss....Teddy's hand then glides to the side of her stomach where he rests it there. Breaks off the kiss slowly then begins to kneel down. His hands find Jinny's on the way down and she follows him.

C.D. walks into Anchorside and glances around for her Partner. Whom hadn't arrived yet. She realizes this and picks out a table near the bar,and sits down to wait.
A waitress notices C.D. has just sit and comes over, "Can I get you anything?"
"Sure, a beer would be great."
"Miller, Budweiser,-" she didn't finish the list before C.D. answers.
"Miller Draft, would be fine."
"Comin' right up." the lady scribbles something down on her notepad and walks off. A short time later she arrives back with C.D.'s beer, "Here you go" the waitress puts it on the table and leaves again. The specific moment of the day, lunch time. Was one of Anchorsides most busy times on weekdays. Never the less weekends.
"Thanks" C.D. reply's to the waitress and looks down at the Beer sitting on the table. Already a small puddle around it from it sweating. She exstends her hand and grabs the beer bottle and takes a drink. When she proceeds to put it down. A hand on her shoulder startles her.

The two on the floor in the bedroom continue to kiss. Each still sitting up. Their hands apon eachother. Theodore's on Jin's waist and his other on her lower shoulder. Hers holding the sides of his face,gently.
"Jin.." Theodore manages to say between a kiss.
"Huh?" she reply's continueing to kiss. Then breaks it off to look at him. Moving her bangs out of her eyes with a quick sweep of her hand.
"I love you." he whispers gently to her looking directly into her eyes. A small smiles across his face.
Jinny takes a moment inhales,but never breaking the eye contact with them. "I do too." she says back. She then looks down not saying anything else. It was hard to say it. Although she didn't know why. She knew she did love him. It was just the concept of actually saying it. That scared the hell out of her. It was like leaving the goal open in a soccer game, it was free to hit. Theodore could tell this made her feel uncomfortable.
"Jinny.." he puts his hand gently to her chin and moves her head up so she could look at him. This time he glances down to the side of him to the carpet then back at her before he begins, "Listen, I'm not going to leave you. I don't want you to be afraid of that. Just because you say you love me isn't making you any less Jinny. Or any less important to me. Like I have you so next person I go to." he shakes his head, "Love. Real love doesn't work like that. I know I love you,and you love me. At least I hope you do,but....If you don't feel comfortable saying it. Then don't. Do it on your own time." he smiles slightly at her. "Okay?"
Jinny looks at him and nods, "Okay." she waits for a second, "I do though." she begins to cry.
"Jinny ,don't." he lifts her head back up and kisses her cheek and makes it to her mouth,and lingers there with a slow kiss with a lot of meaning.

C.D. turns around quickly and sees Frank looking down at her with a grin.
"God Frank, what are you doing here?"
Frank comes around to the side of her , "What you think you're the only one that can come to pick up a date?" he laughs at himself slightly.
"I'm not hear to pick anyone up,Perez."
"Sure, I'm not either." he winks. "Mind if I sit down?"
"Actu-" before she could reply he sits down across from her.
"Thanks."
"Yeah, no problem." she reply's not ammused, "Angela ,my partner,is supposed to meet me here" C.D. glances at her watch.
"Great...It may give my reputation a boost."
"How do you mean?"
"Oh, nothing." he smirks at his reply.
"Suit yourself." she shakes her head.
"I always do. So how's things goin'? Hangin' in there?"
"What do you care?"
He shrugs, "I'm a caring sort of guy."
C.D. laughs slightly, "You're too much."
"If you only know how many times I've heard that." he jokes.
"Yeah, I bet." she laughs
About that time C.D. shift alittle in her seat and looks past Frank whom was taking a sip of his drink to see Angela push open the door and walk in. She looks around slightly then catches sight of C.D. with a look of 'please hurry' and someone sitting with their back to her. Angela couldn't help,but smirk alittle at this and walk over. When she begins to approach the table she heard the sound of a man babbling and instantly knew whom was seated in front of C.D. No other than Inspector Frank Perez.
"Hey C.D." she smiles. "Hi Frank." she adds not in as friendly of a tone.

Magda was in Toys R Us shopping for Ben a birthday present that was a month away. But since Gabe had taken Ben to the game what better time to get the present bought and hide at home before he got back. She was walking down the aisle looking at all the new bikes. She knew Benjamin had wanted one so she was going to get him one. She already had in her cart a Bike helmet and knee and wrist pads. She saw the silver one that Ben had admired about 3 months ago when they were out shopping. Magda turned and looked for a sales person to assist her in getting the bike to the counter,but no one was in site. So she went to the customer service desk to get a salesman to get the one she wanted down. At the desk the lady asked "What can I help with you with Ma'am?" Magda replied "Can you have a salesperson come to aisle 12 to get a bicycle down for me?" The sales clerk replied, "No problem, I will send one right down." Magda turned around and started back to the bike aisle, but on the way a cute little pair of rebooks caught her attention. She looked at them and remembered the time Jinny had given Roberta the exact same pair for her baby shower and smiled. She was thinking that it was going to be fun to give Jinny a baby shower. And Theodore was so into this child. She was glad that Theodore had no reacted like Gabriel had 8 years previously when she had to do what Jinny did and tell Gabriel that she was pregnant and he had bolted out of her life without looking back until 6 months ago.

Theodore finishes buttoning up his burgandy shirt,and glances over to Jinny whom was already finished dressing and was pulling up her hair as she stood in front of the mirror. Teddy walks over and slides his arm across Jinny's back and wrests his hand on her opposite side that he was standing on. He then kisses her on the cheek. Which brings a slight smile to Jinny as she moves her hands down from her hair when she finishes putting it up in a pony tail.
"You ready to go?"
"Honestly? No....but let's get going anyway."
"It's all going to work out." he smiles
Jinny smiles alittle and nods, "Okay....."
"Great, let's get going." Teddy turns around and begins walking around the bed
"If you say so." Jinny says under her breath
"I heard that." he jokes as he walks out of the room Jinny behind him.
"Really?" she asks playfully walking down the hall behind him.

Opening up the bathroom door Kate walks out, steam from her hot shower minutes before came along with her. Dressed with a towel wrapped around her hair she walks over to her chair in the corner and sits. She has a glob of lotion in her hand and rubs it on her elbows and down her arms. Then takes the towel down from her hair and dries it alittle more before taking the towel back to the bathroom to hang it. While in the bathroom she leaves the door open and stands in front of the mirror although it's fogged up from the steam she combs her hair out.. walks back out. Glancing around for her shoes.

Standing by the door his coat already on Teddy waits for Jinny. Whom comes from the kitchen with a bag of pretzels.
"Something to take along for the ride." she smiles and walks over. She places the bag on the desk beside the door as Theodore helps her into her jacket.
"My parents don't live that far." he laughs.
"Yeah well, I'm hungry."
"Believe me. That wasn't a criticism you need to eat." he smiles and opens the apartment door.
"I bet." she laughs, grabs the pretzels, and walks out the door followed by Theodore.
When they get into the hall Theodore checks to see if the door is locked. When it is they begin walking together down the hall.
"Want some?"
"No thanks." he laughs.

Sitting down at the table now. Frank still hasn't gotten the hint that he wasn't actually wanted the waitress comes over.
"So what can I get you to drink?" she looks at Angela.
"Sprite would be great thanks."
"I'll be right back." she writes it down and walks away.
Angela glances over at Frank alittle uneasy since he's not saying much, "So" she clears her throat and looks at her partner. "It's uh pretty busy today."
"Yeah it is." the two woman look around the place.
"Too bad PMS isn't letting me enjoy it." Angela reply's with a smirk to C.D.
Her partner could tell what she was doing. Trying to make Frank feel uncomfortable and finally get the point to leave.
Frank moves alittle then looks from one woman to the next. "You know...I had a girlfriend about a year and a half ago. God did she PMS badly. You girls are nothing like her. She was such a bit-" before he finishes Angela jumped in.
"Oh,and how would you know, Perez?" Angela asks looking directly at him.
"Well." he takes a sip of his drink, "I wouldn't really,but I'd love to find out."
The two Inspector's roll their eyes .

Pulling up in his parent's slanted driveway Theodore glances over at Jinny whom was rolling the top of the pretzel bag up. He parks the car and gets out. Jinny puts the bag beside her. Unbuckles herself,opens the door,and gets out before Theodore could make it around the car to do so.
Teddy meets her and takes her hand as the two walk up the front steps to the door. Jinny takes a deep breath as Theodore reaches for the door handle and turns it. "You'll be fine." he whispers as he takes a step inside and sees his father sitting in a chair reclining reading a book.
"Hey Dad." Teddy says walking in still holding Jin's hand.
"Hi Son!" he says getting up from his seat and turning around. He sees Jinny, "Hello Jinny." he smiles warmly to her as he walks over.
"Hello." Jinny smiles back finally letting go of Theodore's hand as he begins to help her with her jacket.
"No it's okay." she turns around and says to him.
"Okay, Jin." he reply's and takes off his jacket and hangs it on the coat rack next to the door.

When Mrs. Blumenthal hears someone come in she makes her way down the hall and stops when she sees Theodore and Jinny standing near the door.
"Hello Theodore" his mother says and walks over and hugs him. She then looks at Jinny whom stands their quietly. "Jinny." she slightly smiles and nods to her.
"Hi." She says nervously to Mrs. Blumenthal.
Theodore didn't take the long route around things. No beating around the bush he got straight to the point. Why they were there....... "Mom, Dad can we go sit? Jinny and I have some important news for you."
"Umm, Sure Teddy." Mr. Blumenthal reply's walking back into the Family Room and sits back down at his chair.
Mrs. Blumenthal says nothing,but walks over and takes a seat in a chair beside the fire place. Which had a lit fire in it. Theodore and Jinny joined them. Theodore kept a hand on Jinny's back as they made there way to the sofa and sat.
"Okay, So what's the big news?" Mr. Blumenthal leans up alittle, expecting something so totally not what he was about to hear.
"Well..." Theodore looks from his Father to his Mother,and puts his arm above Jinny on the couch above her. "Jinny and I love eachother very much,and we thought it was time for you to know..." he pauses for a second. Jinny glances nervously to his two parents faces. Mrs. Blumenthal kept a solemn expression and said nothing. Mr. Blumenthal he had a bit of anxiousness in his face as he waited.
"We just found out two days ago....We're having a baby." he smiles. After that it was quiet for a couple moments. Theodore's Father's Anxiousness turned alittle worried his mouth cracked open. The couple could tell he was definitely thinking,but of what? There was nothing to do about it now. Jinny's attention went to Mrs. Blumenthal. Afterall since her mother wasn't around,and if she didn't acknowledge this baby she would have no grandmother.
Mrs. Blumenthal kept her eyes on the two and said. "Ooooh, Pregnant." as the thought began to finally sink in. Her son wasn't married,and had a girlfriend that was pregnant. Which might she not add was the one whom seemed to have had made his special day, his birthday that year miserable. (or so she though *cough*)
As for Theodore's father he stayed quiet for a moment longer and studies his son. He could obviously tell that he did love Jinny,and was happy about the new life that they had made.
"So, uh Pregnant?" he finally got out.
Jinny nods, "Yeah." she says in almost a whisper as if he would lash back.
"Dad...We're giving you your first grandchild,and mom...You'll finally have that little granddaughter to spoil." he adds looking from one to the other.
A moment passes. "So you two are sure about this?" Mr. Blumenthal speaks up.
"Yes, We want this baby." Theodore adds. Jinny nods her stomach feeling a bit sick, but as she figured it was just nerves.
"A grand daughter?" Mrs. Blumenthal asks from the corner bring all three of the others to look at her.
Jinny nods slightly, "Yeah."
"Yes, It's a girl ,Mom."
She smiles alittle at the thought of just having a grandchild,but looks away and focuses her attention to the other side of the room. As not show too much emotion for she still wasn't over joyed with the idea of not being married. Although looking at the two she could tell the baby was very welcomed,and with it in their pressence they glowed.
"Then" his dad sighs slightly. "Congratulations, Son." he stands up.
Theodore stands up aswell and the father and son hug. Jin stayed seated still. When Mr. Blumenthal finished he looked down at Jinny, "Well get up here." he smiles and puts his hand out.
Jin takes his hand and he helps her up and gives her a hug. In that time Mrs. Blumenthal gets up and makes her way over to her son. Theodore's father let's Jinny go and the couple is left standing.
She puts her arms around her Teddy for a quick hug and says, "Being married first would have been nice."
Jinny reaches up to her mouth and coughs rather falsely. Mrs. Blumenthal then moves over to Jinny and hugs her quickly,but doesn't let go with out saying, "Now you take care of yourself." she smiles alittle letting go and steps back. Her face solemn once again.

Mag was watching as the very nice looking salesman was trying to fit the bicycle into her car. She thought to herself he has a nice build then chides herself for even looking. The salesman had just tied her trunk down and turned around and said, "There you go, I bet your little boy will love getting that bicycle. I know I would if I was a child." Magda replied, "Actually this is the one that he liked the last time we were here, and his birthday is coming up so what better time to get it for him?" The salesman replied, "Well he is sure lucky to have a mom that cares about him. You have a nice day." "You to." Magda replied as she got into her car. Magda laid the sack in the seat as she put the keys in the ignition. Magda turned her car out onto the street and headed home. She looked once at the sack and thought I hope Jinny likes these for her daughter. Magda had almost made it home. She had to get the bicycle hidden before Gabriel brought Ben back. She glanced at her watch and said, "Good I still have an hour before they get back." Magda turned the corner and pulled into her spot.

Now both couples were back seated. Mr. Blumenthal had the ultrasound picture in his hand and studied it. "Two arms...two legs. Looks good to go." he smiles back at Jinny.
"Thanks." She smiles feeling alittle more comfortable. Theodore then takes the picture back from his father and walks it over to his mother. She puts her glasses on and looks at it.
"Grand daughter.." she says softly where the others barely heard. She continued looking at the picture. "I like the sound of that."
"So when can we expect to see this little tyke?" Mr. Blumenthal asks.
"I'm not due until March third." Jinny replies.
"We still have a ways to go. Any strange cravings?" he laughs.
"No, not yet anyway." she laughs.
"She's only four months along, Dad."
"I know, Teddy."

Okay,I figured I'd post more since it looks like Kaley's going to hyperventilate.

Kate picks up the telephone and begins to dial a number. She then puts the phone to her ear and listens to it ring. Just when she is about to take the phone from her ear and set it back on it's cradle her daughter answers, "Hello?"
"Hi Sweetie. It's mom."
"Hey Mom."
"You get the money I sent?"
"Yes, You're a life saver."
"Yeah, you owe me." Kate smiles.
"I know, Mom big time."
"Don't worry about it. Consider it an early birthday present." she jokes.

Opening the front door to her apartment Jinny comes in first Theodore in behind her and closes the door once he's inside. Jinny already began taking off her coat.
"It's getting cold out there." she says ,hanging her coat up on the hook, rubbing her hands together.
"I know!" Teddy reply's putting his coat up, and placing his arms around Jinny and holds her there. "You getting warmer?" he asks looking down with a smile without letting go.
"I don't know." she smiles and moves her cold to the touch hands underneith the back of his shirt and begins to glide them up.
"What do you think?" she asks right before they touch his bare skin.
Teddy jumps alittle, "Woa." he shifts alittle and lets go of her. Jinny laughs.
"You are cold." he takes ahold of her hands in the back of him and brings them to the front.
"I told you."
He cups both his hands around hers and brings his mouth close and blows warm air into the middle of his hands where Jinny's are.
"See..my parents took it rather well." Theodore smiles in between breaths.
"Yeah...After the initial shock of their son not being married and having a kid."
"So Jinny, I mean. They eased into it. We got a smile from my mom."
She laughs, "I know."
"Well uh...you want to go tell your family?"
"Now?"
"Yeah why not."
"I think one family to shock is enough for one day." she looks at him. "I'm alittle tired anyway."

I haven't posted a lot lately because Jeanie and I haven't written much in the last two days,and you guys are back half way through the story. We like to keep you guys less than half way through.
One good thing is we haven't written cause we updated our Division Website! Check it out. New screen Captures from, "Partners in Crime" and "Seduced and Abandoned" we're going to have all the episodes from Season one with pictures BEFORE the new Season begins so then we'll be able to keep up with those pictures. We're also going to redo pictures from "City Lights Pilot" and "The First Hit's Free, Baby" once we're finished with getting pictures from the rest of the episodes. C.D., Frank,and Angela all had their plates of food in front of them by now. Each eating quietly. Until Frank breaks the silence.
"I'll pick up the bill."
"No thanks,Frank. I can pay for my lunch." C.D. reply's.
"Same here." Angela adds.
"Oh come on ladies. Don't be such a kill joy."
"Really I don't need you to pay."
"Fine I was just trying to be a gentleman." Frank reply's.
"Try harder next time." Angela glances at him.
"Perhaps with someone else while you're at it." C.D. adds in.
"Ooh Harsh. That was low!" he acts like someone just kicked him in the stomach then chuckles at himself quietly. Some time goes by and Frank finishes eating.
"Well ladies, I hate to do this to you,but-" he begins to stand and reaches in his back pocket for his wallet. "The offer still stands." he looks from Angela to C.D. for a definite no.
"I've got it. Thanks Frank." Angela reply's
"Yeah me too."
"Okay." he reply's and tosses down enough for his lunch on the table. "Well it's been fun. We'll have to do it again sometime."
"Yeah,bye." Ang reply's.
"Bye. We'll count on it." Frank adds before he turns and leaves.
Once he's out of ear shot C.D. reply's, "Or not."
"You're so mean." her partner laughs.

Theodore sat on the couch. Jinny's head lying in his lap. The apartment was quiet. Only sound the two could hear was one another breathing. Teddy runs his hands over her forehead slowly. Her eyes closed , "Teddy?" she asks softly.
"Yeah?" he stops rubbing her head and looks down at her.
"Doesn't icecream sound good to you?"
Theodore laughs, "Not really. It's cold outside."
"Oh okay." she smiles slightly and rests her hand on lower stomach eyes still closed. A moment goes by with him rubbing her head. He then stops,leans down kisses her forehead and says, "Here Hon, um uh , Jin. Sit up."
Jinny does so without saying anything the word 'hon' went through her. He never had called her anything besides Jinny. Theodore then stands up and walks over and grabs his coat.
"Where are you going?"
"To get you some icecream." he turns around from putting on his coat. "What flavor?"
"No no no..." she shakes her hand and sits up, "Stay. I don't need icecream."
"I know you don't need it,but you want it or you wouldn't have mentioned it." he reply's, "So what flavor?"
Jinny couldn't help but laugh, "No..Just stay." she says walking over.
"Okay. I'll pick something out." he smiles down at her and gives her a quick kiss. Then leans down and gives her a more serious kiss and breaks it off. "I'll be back."
"You know you don't have to, Teddy. I was just-"
"I know. I'll be back half hour tops."
"Let me go with you then."
"No, it's cold out there. You said you're tired. So just rest. I'll be back."
Jinny shakes her head, "Okay,I see I won't win this one."
"Nope." he smiles,opens the door and walks down the hall. Jinny still standing beside the door. "Bye!" she calls after him.
Theodore turns around and reply's, "Bye!"

Managing to get the bike upstairs Magda unlocks her Apartment door and rolls it inside. Closes the door and wheels it straight to her room. So there was no chance that Benjamin could come home early and see what he had gotten for his birthday that was still a month away. She wanted him not to have a clue. That's the way she liked it. So on his birthday she could see his excited face when she lays eyes on his new bike. Once she got it into her closet she situates the clothes how they were,and figured Benjamin shouldn't be in her closet in the first place. Although she did have to continue to remind herself not to send him in there for a sweater or for a blanket. She smiles and closes the closet door. Then sets out back for the car to grab the bag with Jinny's present and the accessories for Ben's bike.

Arriving at the door to Jinny's apartment three bags in his arms and a gallon of milk in his hand. Theodore leans over and puts a bag on the ground before putting his hand on the doorknob. Then opens the door. He notices Jinny lying on the couch asleep. Then bends back over and grabs the other bag on the ground before going inside.
Walking slowly into the apartment he doesn't bother to close the door just yet,but walks over to the table and gently puts the three bags and gallon of milk apon it. Then walks back over closes the door slowly as not to make a noise. He proceeds to take off his jacket after that he walks back over to the table not saying a word,and starts to unload the groceries he had bought. Reaching his hand in the bag he takes out another bag of Pretzels that were laying at the top. Puts them on the table and then puts his hand back in the bag taking out a thing of Chocolate Icecream and then takes out another which was Strawberry. Folds the bag then goes to the next one and takes out some various fruits. Apples, Oranges, and A Cantalope. Then takes out some vegetables. Carrots, Salad, and Tomatos. All this now sitting on the table. He continues to the next bag which contained only two things. First he takes out a thicker book and lies it on the table. Then another smaller thinner book and places it on the top of the other book.
Theodore looks over to Jinny whom was laying on the couch asleep scrunched up. 'Hm.' he says under his breath before he heads down the hall for a blanket. A moment later he returns with one and drapes it across her.

Kate walks into her kitchen where he had tossed down her mail on the counter when she had arrived home sometime ago,but now after her shower and a nice conversation with her daughter she decides to read her mail and see what she owed now. Before she left back for her sisters. Taking the mail into the living room she picks up the letter opener along the way and settles down on the sofa to read it. Kate then begins to sort through it. Reads the first.., "Junk." she tosses it on the coffee table in front of her.
"Bill." she places it beside her on the couch.
"Junk." tosses it on the table.

Coming back into the living room from putting away the groceries in the Kitchen Theodore notices Jinny is starting to stir so he picks up the two books that he had bought and walks over to the coffee table in front of her,and sets them down on it.
Jin rubs her eyes, "hey..you're back."
"Yeah, I bought a couple books for us." he smiles at her. "You feel better?"
Jinny sits up slowly, "Yeah I was just alittle tired before." she yawns. "So what's the books?"
Theodore rounds the coffee table and sits beside her bringing the books to his lap.
She nods looking at the top book. Which had a picture of a small baby on the cover, "Baby Names." she smiles.
"And..." he moves that book to show the next book below it.
This book was thick and had a picture of a very pregnant woman in a rocking chair holding a book.
"What to Expect When You're Expecting" Jinny laughs when she reads that.
Theodore shrugs alittle, "The checker commented on it."
"Ooh?" she smiles.
"Yeah, she said something about having that book when she was pregnant with her first,and I must be new at this." he laughs.

Walking into her apartment C.D. shuts the door behind her and locks it not planning on leaving for the rest of the day. She walked down the hall to her room and flipped on the television. She then sits down on the bed and begins to take off her shoes. Once she is finished she sighs and looks over at the television. The news was on,and the weather was about to start. So she scoots back alittle on her bed and waits. Finally the familiar face of the news Man comes on and he starts spouting off numbers. Which she doesn't even bother to listen to. Instead she waits for the numbers to appear on the screen.

The couple flipped through the 'Baby Name' book. Jinny had the 'Expecting' book on her lap face down she was leaning close to Theodore his arm around her.
"So, we've got it narrowed down anyway." Theodore smiles over to her.
Jinny nods, "Yeah..So she's either going to be a Susan, Alexis or Catherine."
"Yeah, Alexis is starting to grow on me though." he reply's to her.
"I know! Alexis is a very pretty name...Then it's settled. Her name is Alexis..." she pauses. "What's her last name going to be." Jin asks looking up just realizing they had four choices 'Exstead' , 'Blumenthal' , 'Exstead-Blumenthal' , 'Blumenthal-Exstead'.
Teddy goes quiet for a second. Not remembering they had to decide the last name aswell for they were not married. He then reply's, "She can be an Exstead, Jin." he smiles.
"Theodore, she's yours too. It can be Blumenthal." Jinny begins to get up thinking that was the end of the discussion.
"No Jin" Theodore puts his hand down in front of her so she didn't get completely up. "How about. Exstead-Blumenthal then?"
"What about Blumenthal-Exstead?" she looks at him.
"Fine, I'm not going to win. How about both then?"
"I guess so."
"Good."
"You're unbelievable" Jinny stands up and walks into the kitchen. "Want something to drink?"
"Sure." he reply's walking into the kitchen before she finished her sentence.
"Boy, you're fast." Jin says opening up the refrigerator door and sees the extra milk and fruits and vegetables,and looks over at Teddy. "You know. I could have gott- "
"I know,but since I was out and all. I decided to pick you up a few things."
"How much was it?"
He gives her a look, "Oh, I'm not going to tell you." he smiles, "It was my treat."
"No. How much?"
"I bought them. I don't want your money, Jin."
Jinny shakes her head, "You're stubborn I tell ya."
"And I suppose you're not?" he asks giving her a look.
"Yeah well...what do you want to drink?" she laughs.

Just stepping out of her shower Magda hears someone knocking at the door. So she grabs her robe pulls it around herself tightly and ties the belt infront of her then heads for the door. Before she opens it she looks out of the peep hole and sees Gabriel standing infront of the door. She then steps to the side,unlocks the door,and opens it.
"Hey Magda." Gabriel says when he sees her. Then looks down realizing she's in a robe. Benjamin runs passed her into the house. "That Game was Sooooo Cool!" he jumps.
She looks a bit nervous. "Well come in." she makes a movement for Gabriel to come in as she moves even more out of the way. She closes the door once he's inside.
"You should have come mom it was the best!!!" Ben exclaims.
"Wow,Ben! I'm glad you had fun!! Let me go finish getting dressed then I want to hear all about it,Baby." Magda reply's pointing at Benjamin with a smile. "I'll be right back." she adds disappearing around the corner into the bathroom.

Taking a last sip of his water Theodore swallows then looks to Jin, "You know. I need to get home." he looks at his watch.
"Yeah I figured as much." Jinny smiles.
"Say, how uh do you feel about coming over..You know. To my place,and I can fix some dinner for us?"
"Well....I don't know." she puts down her glass and walks away from him. "No it's okay."
"Aww,Come on. I can make whatever you want." Theodore follows her not letting her get off the hook that quick. Besides why would she want to?
"Look you need some time, some time to yourself." she walks down the hall toward the bedroom.
Teddy shakes his head, "Jin,No I don't. If I thought I did would I have invited you?" he follows her.
She turns around, "I just....don't want to smuther you." she shakes her head, "The last couple days have been really nice. I mean having you around again,but frankly..I don't deserve it. I think you should go home. You know..Enjoy the silence. Enjoy being alone. After the baby is born I'm going to need help. Right now,I'll make some dinner here for me."
"Jinny....." he puts his hands on her shoulders and looks down at her, "Why? " he pauses. "I mean. Why do you do this to yourself? I hate it when you..you put yourself down. Why do you do it?"
Not looking up Jinny shakes her head and frowns alittle, "I don't know. It's just all this is....happening so fast. You weren't here for four months. Hell, a lot has happened since then. I was suspended. An Intervention was put on in my name. God, my life was going in a downward spiral. Now this..I find out. Well, I'll be damned I'm pregnant. It's..it's like an emotional rollercoaster."
"Jinny, I know, I know I have missed a lot,but I'm here now. I'm not going anywhere. How can I prove that to you? Name it."
"I don't know!!" she sighs and shakes her head. "I just don't."
"Okay, Jinny. You don't have to come over tonight." he smiles down to her, "Whenever you need me I'm here though." with that he leans down kisses her forehead and begins down the hall for the door.
Jinny stands in the hall alone near the window. She could Teddy in the living room putting on his coat preparing to go outside in the cold she looks up, "Theodore"
Hearing her Theodore stops in his place. Then begins back to where he left Jinny,but doesn't see her. So he walks down the hall to the room. When he arrives in the doorway he sees her grabbing her black tote bag from the closet.
"Hey Jin." he says letting her know he was still there.
"Hey." she turns around with her tote bag in hand. "Umm,I was thinking. If it wasn't too-" she doesn't finish from there.
Theodore nods with a smile, "Of course." he reply's knowing what she was going to say before she even said it.
"Just give me a second,and I will be ready."
"Great...You need any help?"
"Nah, it's okay. I've got it."

Okay I'm posting more to catch up from not posting a lot lately.

Four blocks from her sister's house Kate pulls into the 7-11 Gas Station to pick up some coffee. Since she was sure her Sister didn't have any at this time. Pam usually stopped drinking coffee before 4:00 in the afternoon otherwise it prevented her from sleeping. Which Kate was completely different. She needed her coffee to calm her. Although she drank decaf. She parks her car and heads into the Gas Station.

"We've got to stop to get some gas. I'm getting alittle low." Theodore comments glancing at his gas gage
"That's okay. I want to pick up a few things. There's a 7-11 right up here." she points to the sign up alittle farther.
"Okay." Theodore reply's pulling into the gas station parking lot and parks beside one of the gas pumps,and shuts off the engine. The couple unbuckles and gets out of the car.
When they walk up to the door Theodore pulls it open letting Jinny walk in first. When they walk across the mat it dings twice. Kate doesn't pay any attention and continues filling her coffee cup without glancing up. Jinny doesn't pay any attention whom was there either,but instead goes straight for the Chips aisle. Theodore behind her she grabs a bag of Pretzels.

She shrugs, "Not really."
"Could this be your first craving?" he laughs and follows her over to the Refrigerators.
Jinny changes the Pretzels to her other hand and pulls open the refrigerater door. Theodore then holds it open as Jin reaches up and grabs a small milk.
"Whole Milk, Jinny." he reminds her.
"I know. That's all I drink anyway." she smiles and grabs it moving out of the way of the door as Theodore closes it. The two then begin walking toward the Cashier.
Kate pushes the lid onto her stirofoam cup turns and begins toward the Cash Register.
Before Theodore and Jinny make it to the end of the refrigerators Teddy asks, "You did grab the vitamins right?" This was just in time for Kate to overhear,and make her wonder.
"Yeah I got them." she reply's arriving at the end of the refrigerators. The two glance to their left as not to run into anyone,and right there beside them was none other than Captain Kate McCafferty.
"Oh, Hey Captain. I didn't expect to see you here." Jinny says as naturally as she possibly could.
Kate glances from Theodore to Jinny then to the contents in her hands. A small thing of milk and a bag of pretzels.
"Yeah, I uh was just grabbing some coffee." Kate motions to her coffee.
"Right. So um uh I'll see you Monday." Jinny smiles slightly.
"Yeah.." Kate nods walking passed and putting her coffee onto the front counter infront of the Cashier for him to ring up.
Theodore and Jinny stand in line behind. Teddy leans over and whispers he thought was low enough for Jinny to only hear, "She doesn't know does she?"

Kate almost turned around instictively and asked, "Do I know what?" ,but she held herself back. Realizing this obviously wasn't about work. Since she wasn't in the Division she takes a breath and pays the Cashier. All the while very curious of what ADA Blumenthal was talking about.

Hearing the doorbell ring Angela looks away from the television to the door and grabs up the money on her side table. Since the Delivery person was late she had managed to pick out the correct change. Once she gets to the door she opens it. Standing in front of her was the Delivery Guy whom was probably late teens early twenties she figured.
"Hey, You Angela?" he asks looking down at his paper on the bag.
"Yes."
"That'll be $23.82" he reply's looking at her.
Angela promptly hands the money over. "There you go."
"Thanks." the kid hands over the bag of Italian Food to Angela and counts the money.
"Thank You." Angela begins closing the door when the kid turns around and begins heading back toward his car. He shakes his head, "Couple minutes late the broad couldn't gimme a tip." he says to himself.

Pushing the key into the lock of his door he turns it and opens the door. Theodore walks in and turns on a light followed by Jinny whom had her overnight black totebag on her shoulder she closes the door behind her.. Theodore was carrying the bag containing the items they had bought from the Gas Station.
"So here we are." Theodore says putting the bag on his desk beside the door. Then turning to Jinny.
"Yeah. I can tell you haven't been home for awhile. It's cold in here." she smiles dropping her totebag on the floor as she begins to take off her coat.
"Oh, well uh..I can fix that." he reply's walking off then down the hallway.
Jinny finished taking off her coat and drape it across his deskchair.
"I just meant It's alittle different. Usually when I came over it was really warm. Welcoming if you will." she reply's raising her voice for Theodore to hear from in the hall.
A moment later Theodore reappears from the hall, "I turned on the heater. To try and warm the place up." he smiles at her a picks up the bag from the desk. "So uh what would you like for dinner?"
Jinny shakes her head following Theodore into the kitchen , "I have no clue. Whatever you want."
"No no, I asked you." he smiles back at her as he turns on the kitchen light.
She shrugs.
He looks at her then puts the bag on the counter and opens up one of his cupboards,"How aboooouut...." he looks around his cupboard.. "Does spaghetti sound good?" he asks looking back at her.
Jinny smiles, "Sure that's great."
"Okay then." he pulls out the Spaghetti sauce and the Noodles.
Jinny pulls out her cell phone, "Hey uh do you mind?" she asks pointing into the living room with her phone.
"No, go ahead."
"Okay, Once I'm finished I'm helping you with that." she smiles at him.
"I've got it under control ,Jin. Take your time."
"Yeah, we'll see." she grins at him and walks into the other room with her phone.

The Phone rang at Magda's. "Sweetie can you grab that?" she calls to Ben as she fixes dinner for them.
"Okay." Ben says getting up from the floor where he was doing a puzzle. He reaches for the phone. "Hello?" he asks.
Magda continued finishing the Enchildas.
"Hey JINNY!!!" Benjamin exclaims into the phone. "Yeah, I'm good. How did you know I went to a game?" he pauses and listens to her explanation. "Oh, mom came over there today? Aww, I wanted to come." he nods at whatever Jinny said to him. "Okay....Yes,It's a deal."
Magda stops fixing the Enchildas and thinks for a moment. What Jinny was saying to her baby. She shakes her head and laughs going back to preparing dinner.
A minute after Ben walks into the kitchen holding the phone, "Jinny wants to talk to you."
"Thanks, Honey." she reply's taking the phone from her son, "Dinner will be done in a half an hour."
With that Magda puts the phone up to her ear.
"Hey Jin." she smiles her shoulder up holding the phone to her ear as she finishes the last Enchilada.
"Uh-huh. How did they take it?" she asks taking the phone back into her hand as she leans over and opens the preheated oven.
"That's great, Jinny." she reply's putting the Enchiladas into the over and closing the oven door. Magda stands back up, "Well at least they didn't flip. You know?....Yeah you can't expect a lot though.. What about your family? You goin' to tell them anytime soon?"
Ben sits in the living room,and listens... "Tell her family?" he asks himself, but decides not to go interupt his mother's conversation. So he just continues with his puzzle in silence. The sound of a Nickelodeon Show he was watching and his mother's talking in the background.
"Ooh,that's what the deal was about." Magda laughs, "Sure..That's fine. What time will you be here tomorrow?...Okay,I'll have him be ready." "Aww, Jinny. Yeah that name is adorable!! I really like it." Magda reply's leaning against her counter holding the telephone to her ear. She nods with a grin to what Jinny says, "Yeah, Alexis is beautiful. You know before I knew Ben was a boy I was concidering the name Michelle." she adds. Then she listens to what Jinny says. Her mouth about drops open, "You ran into her at the Gas Station?! What did she say, Jin? Does she know?.........Uh-huh. Yeah, Monday would probably be the best...Right. That's true."

An unexpected knock on the door brought C.D.'s attention from the movie she was watching. She got up from her sofa infront of the television and headed toward the door. 'Who the hell is here at this time of the night?' she asked herself on the way. Although it was only 6:30. When she arrived at the door she skipped looking through the peek hole and went straight to opening it.
"What the hell are you doing here?" she asks looking at Frank whom stood in front of her.
"Oh you know. I was in the neighborhood." he grins.
"Yeah right....Besides how'd you know where I live?" C.D. quizes him giving him a look.
"Can I come in?" before C.D. had a chance to reply he walks in. "Hey pretty nice." Frank nods looking around as he takes off his coat.
"Yeah thanks." she reply's closing the door. "You didn't answer my question. What are you doing here?"
"Oh but I did. I was in the neighborhood."
"Okay then. To get to the chase. Why did you happen to pick my house? I heard there is a nice lady down the street."
"Is it so wrong to come visit a Fellow Inspector."
"Maybe not if I was a fellow."
"Good one." he grins and hangs up his coat beside the door on a vacant hook.

Jinny walks back into the kitchen finished with her conversation to .
"How's it going?" she asks looking over at Theodore whom was cutting some sausage for the Spaghetti Sauce.
"Good. I was uh hoping you like sausage. I wasn't quite sure." he reply's looking back down.
Jinny laughs and nods, "Yeah I like sausage." she walks over and notices the water for the noodles was boiling. So she reaches over the cutting board where Teddy was cutting the sausage and grabs the box of noodles. Then with her other hand she takes a sliced peice of the sausage pops it into her mouth, moves slightly over, and begins to open the box of noodles.

Here's more...I am still trying to catch up.

Once Jinny got the box open she pours the noodles into the water..Turns around opens up the cupboard under the sink,throws away the box,and closes the cupboard door once again. She then stood and pushed the noodles down into the water with a fork.
"Hey Jin. Maybe you should get ahold of your dad. We could invite him and your brothers over for dinner or something."
"Right, I almost forgot." she asks looking over at Theodore.
"No such thing." Teddy reply's.
"Yeah I can tell."
"My place okay? There's not much to break there that hasn't already been."
"Sure.. You really think your dad will react that badly?"
She smirks, "Depends. Is this before or after he's had his evening drink?" she jokes.
Theodore laughs once.
"Okay... I'll be back." Jinny reply's putting the fork on the counter, turns around, and walks out of the kitchen.

Angela was now in the kitchen unpacking the food from the bag when she hears someone fumble around with the door knob and then the door opens and someone comes in. She had forgotten to lock it when the Italian take out guy had delivered the food. So she calls out, "Daniel? Dan, is that you?"
When there wasn't a response. She walks into the living room slowly not to make a sound from the enterance out of the kitchen. Arriving at her gunholster on the table against the wall she undoes the snap and picks her gun up and begins to walk back into the kitchen armed.
Angela glances around the kitchen. No one was there.
"Danny? Dan?!" she asks alittle more anxious as she turns the corner down the hall toward the door. Still no response.
When she finally gets to the door which was now locked again. She instinctively looks over at the coatrack where she sees Daniel's coat hanging.
'Dammit.' she says to herself and rushes back down the hall into the kitchen and into the living room to put her gun away. Once she gets it back into her holster she snaps the snap and goes back into the kitchen and continues unloading the bag.
A short time later she hears the noise of someone walking down the hall toward the kitchen where she was. She couldn't help but be tense at this,but once she sees Daniel appear from the hall she sighs and gives him a smile. She was relieved once she saw him.
"Hey, why didn't you respond?!" she scolds.
Daniel smiles and looks at his wife, "I'm sorry Angie. We had an emergency down at the Clinic and I got bloody. I had to go change and take a quick shower to wash off. I know how that bothers you. So I didn't reply to you."
"Well next time, let me know its you!" she gives a look. "You about scared me to death."

I keep checking every once in awhile to see if you've posted more. I'm getting disappointed. I need MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, listen up. There isn't going to be much of this fan-fiction for awhile. Somehow tonight when I opened it up the file was blank. I can't find ANY of what I had written. Not even the damned beginning. And I had alittle less than what I have on the board written that you guys have not read yet. I'm trying to get it back from a couple friends that I sent it to,but I haven't sent them a new installment for over two weeks. So they don't even have it all. Therefore,I pretty much have to start from scratch again starting just about where I ended on this board. I am so majorly pissed off right now. So just bear with me. I stay up until 2 and 3 in the morning writing this damned thing. Now it's just..Gone. I have nothing. I might keep writing it. I might not. Stupid thing. I'm upset right now. So,yeah, I'll let ya all go. I'm trying to sort everything out.

Also to answer your question,Susan. This fan-fiction was going to follow her through each month. I was up to her fifth month when it somehow disappeared. Now I don't know what to do.

Okay..Thanks to my friend C.D. she sent me all the parts that I have sent her. Although, Lately (about the last two weeks) I haven't sent her any besides over IM. So I'm still ahead of the message board,but I'm still missing a lot. Like I have to write Jinny telling her family over again,and quite a lot more. I'm still ahead of the message board somewhat though. Also today Jeanie and I are going to try and catch up all the way with writing it. So hopefully by Monday we will be back on track. I'll try and post some more tonight. No gaurantees,but I will try.

Thanks for replying Factsfan. I just posted so people would know if I didn't post a lot lately,but yeah. I have cooled off now,and we WILL be finishing it. Right now I really am enjoying writing it. So I can't give up that easily. Talk to you later. Thanks again.

"Yeah, Hey Dad." Jinny says when her dad answers the phone.
"Hey Jinny Girl... How are you? Anything new?" John asks his daughter.
"Um, Yeah you could say that." she reply's to him. Hearing John Jr. ramble on about something in the background and Casey on defense mode. So obviously both her brothers over. This was going to be easier than she thought. "What's John goin' on about?" she asks.
"Oh , You know your brothers. I can't keep up with what they're argueing about." John jokes.
"Okay. Hey look Dad.. Can you and the guys come over to my place tomorrow for dinner?"
"I don't know. Is everything okay, Jinny?" he asks concered.
"Yeah, Everything is fine. Can you ask John and Casey for me, Please?"
"No problem." her father reply's and takes the phone from his ear. "Hey guys..You free tomorrow night to go to Jinny's for dinner?"
"Yeah sure, Dad, I'm free. Is that her on the phone?" Casey asks.
"What has she gotten herself into this time?" John remarks. "Yeah I'm free."
John Sr. nods at his youngest son then puts the phone back to his ear, "We'll be there. What time?"
"5:30 okay?"
"5:30, Okay?" John asks his two sons.
"Yes. Can I talk to Jinny when you're finished?" Casey asks.
"Sure." his father reply's then looks over to John Jr.
"Yeah, 5:30's fine." John Jr. Reply's.
"Yes, We're on for 5:30." her father responds back to Jinny into the telephone.
"Thanks Dad."
"No problem, Jin. Oh hey, Your brother wants to speak to you. Bye."
"Bye Dad."
Casey then stands up and takes the phone from his father.
