"Hey Jinny." Casey says to his sister over the phone.
"Hey Case, how are ya?"
"Pretty Good." He takes the Cordless phone and walks out of the room into the kitchen."So Jinny. What's this about you wanting us all to come over there tomorrow?" he asks once he's out away from his father and brother.
"Well uh Case.." she begins. "If I don't tell you won't get any rest tonight,huh?"
"That's right." Casey reply's to his big Sister.
"Okay fine. Promise not to tell Dad or John?"
"Of course, Jinny. This is Casey you're talkin' to." he laughs.
She laughs at her brother. "Okay here it goes...Casey, I'm pregnant."
Casey is silent.
"Um,Uh Casey. Are you there?" Jinny asks. Knowing he was there. She could hear him breathing.
"Yeah, I'm hear, Jin. Just wow...I'm going to be an Uncle." he runs his hand over his face. "Wow." was all he could say after that.
"Keep it down." Jinny laughs alittle. "How did you think I felt? Never the less Theodore."
"Teddy? It's Teddy's, right Jinny?"
"Yes it is. Without a doubt, Casey."
"Does he know?" he asks in a lower voice for the others not to hear.
"Actually he does. He went with me to my first Appointment. I'm 4 months along."
"Wow." Casey couldn't stop himself from saying again.
"Yeah I know." she smiles.
Casey could tell from his sister's vioce that she wasn't worried about it. She actually had a sense of excitement. "So you are happy about this then. Right, Jin?"
"Yeah, yeah I am."
"Congratulations. I support you 100% then."
"Thanks a lot,Case. You still comin' over tomorrow,right?"
"Sure I will. I'd like to see my big Sister." he reply's.

"Benjamin, Are your hands washed?" Magda asks taking the Enchiladas from the oven and brings them to the stove to cool for a few minutes while she got Benjamin to the table.
When Ben didn't reply Magda turns the corner from the kitchen into the living room and saw Ben still doing his puzzle like she hadn't said a word, "Ben, I asked you a question. Have you washed your hands for dinner?" she asks in more of a warning tone.
"No, I haven't."
"Don't you think you should since I asked you nicely twice already?" she looks down at him.
"Yeah, okay." he reply's alittle disappointed as he drops his puzzle peice,gets up from the carpet,and walks down the hall to the bathroom.
Pleased with this Magda sighs,shakes her head ,and walks back into the kitchen, 'Jin doesn't know what she's gettin' herself into.' she thought taking out two plates and began dishing out the food she had made.

Five minutes later. Both Magda and Ben were sitting across from eachother at the table in the kitchen enjoying their meal.
"You like it?" Magda asks taking another bite of her Enchilada.
Ben nods as he chews his food, "Yeah." he reply's once he swallows. "Mom." he says taking another bite.
"Yeah hunny?"
"I was thinking." Ben reply's sticking his fork in the Enchilada and not looking at his mom. "Um..." he begins and makes alittle face and look up at his mother. "I heard you say. Jinny has to tell her Dad something."
"Oh,when I was on the phone."
"Yeah." he wrinkles his nose alittle, "What does she have to tell him?"
"You shouldn't be listening to my conversations on the phone ,Benjamin, You know that." she looks down at her plate then back at her son, "Anyway since you did hear it. Jinny has to tell her Dad she's going to have a baby." Magda explains.

This is getting so good. I can't wait until Jinny tells her dad. Will that be in the next post, or are you going to just keep stringing us along? Either way, can't wait for more!

"Wow, a baby!!!!" Ben remarks. "Cool, Maybe it will be a boy! That would be cool wouldn't it Mom?" he grins.
"Actually, the baby is a girl."
"How do they know? I mean. Where's the baby then?" he looks alittle confused.
"Oh well uh." Magda shifts alittle uncomfortably in her seat. "She's actually in Jinny." she reply's giving Ben a look like, 'I know there's another question coming'. Sure enough there was.
"How did it get there?"
"Well uh....A Mommy and Daddy aren't just two people that take care of you. " she thinks how to go on. "At one point the Mommy and Daddy well. They love eachother very much. So they uh..get together, and they make a little baby together."
Ben shakes his head, "I don't get it. How do they make it?"
"They make their baby with lots of love. Together."
"But How?"
"Well when two people love each other they like to show it by being together and professing their love for one another and sometimes the two people have a baby" Magda smiles alittle and manages to take another bite of her food.
Benjamin looks at his mom, "Okay..." he pauses. "So let me get this straight." he gives a look, "The baby is INSIDE, Jinny?"
"Yes, she is." she nods at her son.
"Um, how does it come out? " he shakes his head confused.
"Benjamin, why don't you eat your dinner. It's getting cold. I'll tell you more later, okay?"
"Okay.." he nods and takes another bite of his food.

"So your brother Casey took it well, see Jinny I knew it wouldn't be as bad as you thought it would." Theodore said as he took another bite of the spaghetti. Jinny replied, "Teddy, Casey is not like dad or John Jr. I knew he would be happy for us. All he could keep saying is, Wow, I am going to be an Uncle. Just wait until Dad and John Jr. find out." "Come on Jin it can't be that bad? I mean yeah, they will be shocked but you are giving your Dad his first grandchild, Jin." Theodore said. Jinny took a drink of her milk that Theodore had put out for her. She looked over at Teddy and said "Maybe we will just have to wait and see. I just don't think that Dad or John Jr. will take it as well as Casey or even your parent did after the initial shock of you have a baby and not being married." Jinny smiled at what Teddy's mom had said earlier. Theodore replied, "We will get thru it Jin, know matter what happens. I mean what is the worst they could say?" Jinny looked at Theodore and said, "You really don't want to know Teddy." Theodore replied with a smile "Well let's not worry about it tonight Jin, I can think of better things to think about." Jinny looked at Theodore and wondered what he had on his mind and smiled. Theodore got up from the table and began clearing it as Jinny began to help him. They took the dishes into the kitchen and put them in the sink. Jinny reached above the sink for the dish soap and started to fill the sink while Teddy got a towel out to dry the dishes. Jinny looked at Teddy and said, "Oh by the way the spaghetti and garlic bread were good, thanks you are a good cook. Sorry about not helping out to much." Theodore smiled and replied, "Thanks Jin, I am glad you liked and it is okay I really wanted to cook you dinner." Theodore leans over and lightly kisses Jinny on the lips.
Jinny starts to wash the dishes as Teddy dries them and puts everything away. Theodore takes Jinny's hand and leads her to the couch in the living room. They sit on the couch together and Theodore puts his arm around Jinny and leans back. Jinny leans back and rests her head on Theodore's shoulder. They sit like that for a few minutes before Theodore rests his left hand on Jinny's stomach. Theodore liked the idea that their child was growing inside Jinny. He was still on cloud 9 from everything that had happened in the last 2 days. Theodore looked down at Jinny and said, "I can't wait until I can feel the Alexis start kicking." Jinny looked in Theodore's eyes and could see the love already there for Lexi. She was amazed that he was so into fatherhood. "Teddy you are so cute you know that." Jinny said. "What?" Theodore said. "You amaze me you just found out 2 days ago that you are going to be a father and you are so." Jinny said. "So what?" Teddy asked. "You are so excited about it. I guess what I am trying to say is Lexi is lucky to have you for a daddy." Jinny said. Theodore looked at Jinny and said, "Lexi huh, I see you already have given her a nickname. Do you really think so?" Teddy asked. Jinny smiled at Teddy and said, "Yes I do." Theodore leaned down to kiss Jinny.

Kate had arrived back at Pam's and was in with her mother. She looked better than she did the previous day. Kate sat in the rocking chair Pam had placed by their mom's bed and thought about all that had transpired in the last couple of days. What she found strange though was what had transpired at the gas station a short while ago. Jinny with a bag of pretzels and milk, what a strange combination then she heard Theodore ask her if she had the vitamins. Which she also found strange, but what really was getting at her and she really wanted to know was what ADA Blumenthal had said in the line. "She doesn't know, does she?" I wonder if I am going to like what I don't know about and when or if I will be told about it. She just couldn't get the whole thing out of her mind. After all Jinny had just gotten back from the suspension and was doing very well actually. She hoped that this did not have anything to do with her starting to drink again. She had been sober for a while, and she would hate to see her fall off the wagon. But that couldn't be it cause Jinny had milk and no alcohol at the gas station. This was really getting to her and she wanted to know if her inspector was in trouble somehow.

"Look, Frank..I don't really want any company tonight. I was just lying down to watch a Mov-" C.D. begins following Frank into the living room.
"Well since I'm here. You uh need anything done? I heard your hubby is long gone?" he questions.
"Yes, Paul and I are finished. No,I don't need anything done for me. I'm managing just fine."
"There is a few things you can't necassarely do by yourself....Well correctly."
"Frank!" C.D. warns staring at him. "I don't feel up for this crap."
"Joking, Joking.." he puts up his hands. "But seriously, do you mind if I stick around alittle while and catch some of this movie?"
C.D. studies him. Wanting to know his motive. Against everything she was thinking she sides with Frank. Afterall it would be nice to talk to someone during commercials. Even if that person was Inspector Frank Perez. "Okay Fine,Frank. No more of those wise cracks though. Or you're out."

The Couple were now lying on Theodore's bed. Jinny lay on her side ,close to Teddy his arm around her. The top light blanket over the top of them to their waist. Jinny's hand was resting just below Theodore's belly button just under his shirt. She thought, Although she was happy about the baby. She was worried about their future. As much as she tried she just couldn't picture herself as a decent mother. Sure she was good with other peoples kids,but then again she could give them back aswell. When her thoughts began to get deeper. She was suddenly cut off by the feel of Theodore's hand touching her cheek and softly caress it. This brought her to look over to him.
"Are you okay?" he asks checking on her.
"Yeah I'm fine. Was just thinkin'."
"About what?"
"The baby. The whole Mother situation." she shakes her head, "You really think I could pull it off?"
"What's to pull of, Jin? You'll be a great Mother. I know it." he kisses her forehead gently, reassuring her of his words.
"You really think so?" She smiles with this new found confidence in herself.
"I know so."
Again the two went silent,and layed together. A short time passes,and Theodore breaks the silence.
"What are you doing, Jin?" he smirks down at her.
"Nothing." she reply's too quickly. Then looks up with a grin.
"Uh-huh." he couldn't wipe the smirk of his face,and shifts alittle in his spot.
"I'm not doing anything." she smirks, leans up and kisses him. The kiss quickly accellerates past a 'friendly kiss'
Breaking off the kiss Teddy takes a breath and shifts slightly again. He reply's , "Yeah, nothing alright." He smirks and reaches for Jinny he reaches his right hand out to find hers. He takes it and gently moves his hand back to the side of him. Jinny follows along and moves slowly on him she then sits up. Her legs on eachside of him. Leaning down she kisses him once playfully and sits back up. Looking down at Theodore the moonlight reflecting from his cheeks she smiles,and leans back down her hands resting on eachside of him supporting her upper half of her weight she kisses him once more. This time Teddy moves his hands to her sides gently and pulls her down ontop of him.

Jinny begins to bend her arms and soon she was lying directly on top of Theodore. He moves his arms around her into an embrace. Holding her they break the kiss off and Teddy looks up to her. Neither say anything. Each content with just being with one another.

Angela and Daniel were sitting on the couch watching a movie that had come on Lifetime. Although, Daniel didn't really care for the channel Angela seemed to enjoy it. A commercial comes on 'Lifetime Television for Woman' and Daniel sighs. What I don't do for Angie. Daniel looked down at Angela and she had fallen asleep in his arms. He reached over and picked up the remote and turned the volume down and flipped the channel to sports.

Leaning up slightly Theodore kisses Jinny's neck softly. Bumps arise down her body as he does so and she brings her hand from Theodore's shoulders to the side of his face as she moves her head slowly where their lips meet in a gentle kiss.
As Jinny kisses him. Her three most frightening forbidden words come into mind. She breaks off the kiss and lays her head on his shoulder as she thought. All the while her hand gently rubbing across his chest.

She knew it was a perfect time to tell Teddy she loved him. She couldn't bring herself to say it. Saying she loved him would be too big of a step for her, for them,she thought. Although she loved him with all her heart she couldn't say it. Not now. Not when everything seemed so perfect. Eachtime before when she had loved or just cared for anything it never lasted. In her mind if she didn't say it. It'd go on forever. Deep down she knew it wasn't true.
Knowing she was on the verge of crying. Jinny stops her thoughts sits back up, her hand resting on Theodore's chest and begins to kiss him,Passionately. Still something inside her went off and a tear began to form and run down her cheek. Reaching up with her right hand she wipes it away quickly. Still kissing she brings her hand back down to the bed beside Teddy's shoulder. His arms still around her.
Feeling the dampness of Jin's hand against his shoulder in between a brief break as Jinny pulls back and brings her hand to the top button of his shirt.
Looking up at her. Theodore could only make out a vague shape of her in the shadows though she was so close to him. He asks, "Are you okay?"
Jinny knowing if she says anything he'd know by the tone of her voice something was wrong. No matter what she said. So she only nods in the moonlight and moves onto the next button on his shirt.
"No, Jin.....Jinny." His hands that were now resting on the sides of Jinny's legs since she sat up again. He moves each of them over Jinny's hands to top her from unbuttoning the rest of his shirt.
"I don't want you to use this Jinny." he says in a low tone of voice. "I want everytime......to be just us....to be special." again he pauses. "Don't use it as a tool. If somethings a matter I want to know." he whispers to her. His thumbs rubbing the back of her hands.
"I'm okay." she begins. "I'll work it out..." Jinny reply's in a whisper.
"Jinny"
"Please....." she answers taking her hands from his and leans down to him and kisses him reassuringly. "Don't worry." she says in a brief moment before she comes back with another kiss.
This time Jinny sits back up and begins to undo the rest of his shirt. Once the last button was undone she opens it up and exposes his chest. She smiles to herself and leans down and kisses his chest softly. Kisses half way down his stomach,and kisses back up to his mouth. When she got to his lips he greeted her with a Passionate loving kiss unlike the others they had recently shared. Still not lying back down she runs her hands down to his belt buckle undoes it,and runs her hands back up his chest slowly. Daniel finishes watching all the sport scores and looked over at Angie still sleeping peaceful, he smiled at the thought. He picked up the remote and turned the TV off. Then gently shook Angela awake. Daniel said, "Hey Angie, I think it is time for bed." Angela stretched and looked up at Daniel and replied, "Sorry about that Daniel." "Not a problem Angie you were tired and need the rest, I just watched some sports and let you rest." Daniel said. Angela replied, "So I will have to catch the movie when it comes on again, it was interesting and I was hoping you could tell me what happened?" "No such luck Angie, you know I only watch that channel cause you like it. Come on lets go up to bed." Daniel said. Angela stood up and waited on Daniel to stand also as they both made their way upstairs.

Breaking off the kiss Jinny scoots herself alittle farther down on Teddy and unbuttons the top button of his pants,and proceeds to lower the zipper. Once it's down all the way she sits up on her knees and begins to pull his pants down over his legs exposing the darkness of his silk boxers in the slight moonlight filtering in through the cracks of the shades. After a moment the pants were lying on the floor at the foot of the bed. Jinny had once again taken her spot back ontop of Theodore and came to him with a soft kiss her hands on the sides of his chest. She gently bent her fingers and exstended them rubbing his sides.
Theodore moves somewhat and breaks off the kiss bringing Jinny to sit up and move her hands back to his mid stomach.
Jin looks down at him, "What was that about."
He shakes his head, "Nothing."
"You're ticklish aren't you?" she grins.
"No.." Teddy shakes his head, "No I'm not."
"Yeah, I bet." she grins, leans back over him her t-shirt hanging loosly over him she runs her hands up his sides slowly. With this Theodore quickly brings his arms down against his sides with a smile.
"I knew it." Jinny replied rather happy with herself her hands between Teddy's side and his arms she still bent over him. He then brings his arms away from his sides and runs his hands underneith Jinny's shirt to her lower stomach and begins to glide them upward. Bringing Jinny to take a breath. After a moment he brings his hands back down her and takes the bottom of her shirt in his hands as he pulls it up over her body. Once it's completely off he drops it to the right of him off the bed to the floor.

The two meet in a passionate kiss as their warm flesh touch. Jinny once again lowers herself onto him. Her hand runs over his forehead. Theodore places his hands on her outer upper leg and the other around her back. They both take a deep breath almost at the same time, and Teddy slowly moves sides ways. Feeling this Jinny moves herself from him onto the bed. This time on her back.
Before anything Theodore scoots closer to her and kisses her shoulder, moves his way to her collar bone, and works his way slowly down her chest to her stomach. Placing his last kiss right above her navel as his hands reaches for the button on her pants. He undoes it. Looks back up to her with a smile and pushes the zipper to her pants down and pulls them off of her. Once they're on the floor by his he kisses her once more on her present flat belly and skips his way back up to her mouth still laying beside her. Theodore rubs his hand back and forth on her stomach slowly. He then moves closer to her slowly,and gently makes his way over her. Holding his weight up he looks down into her eyes then leans closer to her placing his lips near her ear he whispers, 'I love you.' and places a kiss on her cheek.
Taking a deep breath Jinny exhales and puts her arms around him and gently pulls him down.
"It's okay." she adds feeling Theodore hesitate on moving his body ontop of her. "I'm fine. It's okay." He gently lets his weight down onto her.

Magda finished pulling down her nightshirt ,"Benjamin, go brush your teeth and get ready for bed." she says opening the door to her room calling to Ben whom was in the living room where she had left him. "I'll be in there in a minute to tuck you in." she adds.
When there isn't any reply she walks down the hall stopping at his bedroom she opens the door and looks around. Not seeing Ben she leaves the bedroom door open and looks into the living room to see him sprawled out across the couch asleep. Already in his pajamas she stops before she enters the living room and smiles at her son, her baby. Whom in alittle over a month will be 8 years old. It seemed like just yesterday he was getting his first tooth, taking his first step. Benjamin was her life.

With this Magda walks over to him and sits beside him on the edge of the couch and gently shakes him. He opens his eyes alittle and looks at his mom before stretching slightly.
"Hey Baby." Magda runs her hand over his head looking down at him. "Why don't you go to your room. I'll shut off the lights and be in there to tuck you in in a second."
Ben nods and sits up. Reaching out his mom holds his arm and helps him up. "I'll be right there." she says once again watching him walk to his room and open the door. Once he wasn't in sight any longer she gets up shuts off the television,and all the lights. Then turns and heads for his bedroom.

The next morning (Sunday).....
Rolling over on the sofa C.D. runs her hands over her face,and stretches as she awakes. She yawns and curls her legs up near her. When she realizes she doesn't remember Frank leaving the night before. She opens her eyes,sits up quickly and looks around her house. Frank nowhere in sight she turns to look behind her at the coatrack near the door. His jacket was gone. She sighs realizing he must have let himself out lastnight after the movie was over. Looking down at the carpet she takes a deep breath and stands up.

The sun was just beginning to shine through the windows in the living room. Jinny sat her legs curled beside her on the couch. She had already gotten dressed and didn't figure that there was any hurry to wake Theodore. Besides, sitting alone gave her a time to think. Afterall she did have to go into work tomorrow and tell Kate she was pregnant. Which wasn't really what was bothering her. Since Kate did take Roberta's pregnancy just fine. Even if she hadn't she couldn't change it so what was to overreact about? No, this wasn't what was bothering her. Jinny just couldn't let go of her whole superstition, and everytime she thought about it she kicked herself. She knew she had to let it go, and just....just let everything work at their own pace. So far everything was just laying out infront of her like a storybook. A fairytale.
'It can't last. Nothing does.' she tells herself.
It was just the whole situation. The whole damn situation just scared the hell out of her. Not just the baby. The relationship with it's father, Theodore. She had dragged her feet before getting into a relationship with him because as much as she hated to admit it she was being selfish. Not wanting anything she would care about and then all of a sudden to lose. Now she just didn't have a guy to lose. She had a love to lose. A baby to lose. Since she had found out about her baby it was like overcoming something new eachday. Everyday was a milestone. Everyday the baby was stronger.

"Hey Mom." Benjamin says seconds before jumping onto Magda's bed next to her.
"Ben..." Magda begins alittle grouchy from the way she was woken up,but stops herself and rubs her eyes. "Hey Honey." she says pulling up her blankets beside her for Benjamin.
Ben smiles and makes his way under the covers next to his mom laying on his back he looks to the left at Magda. He pushes the blankets down alittle and puts his arms over them.
"Come here." Magda reply's putting her arm around her son and pulling him close. She kisses his cheek. "You sleep okay, Baby?" she asks running her hand through his hair.
He nods, "Yep!" waits a second then adds, "I'm hungry!"
"So am I." Magda lies and lets go of her son as she gets out of bed to go make breakfast for him. Ben jumps up and is out of the door before his mom makes it around the bed. She shakes her head as she grabs her robe and heads out the door.


Hearing footsteps from the hall Jinny glances over to greet Theodore with a smile.
"Hey, Goodmorning." she says as cheerfully as possible.
"Hi Jin." Theodore stretches alittle and smiles. "What are you out here for?"
She shakes her head and motions to the bedroom, "Well, you were asleep. I didn't want to wake you."
Theodore nods, "I see. You could have though, You know?" he reply's.
"Thanks." she nods with a smile.
"So uh how long have you been up?"
"Ooh, probably about an hour or so."
"That long? I'm sorry. Next time wake me up."
"Nah, it's okay. Really."
Theodore looks back and hesitates for a second, "Is uh there anything you want to talk about? Have I done anything wrong?" He had to ask. Since last night that question had been on his mind. If he had done something to make her upset he'd like to know. So they could talk about it. Work it out.
Again she shakes her head, "No..It's not you." she smiles. "It's..." about to tell him she stops and rethinks what she was going to say. "It's... nothing. Everything will work out."
Theodore thinks for a moment still standing near the hallway, and then walks over to the couch and sits beside Jinny. He puts his hand on her back. "Just..I want you to know. If you ever want to talk. I'm here. Anytime at all about anything. I love you, Jin."
There were those words again. The words that she'd love to say back. To let it off her chest but instead she nods,and leans over and kisses him on the cheek. "I know...Thank you." she reply's quietly back.

Kate awoke to the sun shining thru the windows in her sister's spare bedroom. She was not used to her surroundings so it took her a few minutes to adjust to where things were. She looked over at the clock and said, "I haven't slept this late in a long time. I must have really been tired." Kate had tossed and turned half the night wondering what was going on with Jinny. This was weighing on her mind since she ran into Jinny and ADA Blumenthal at the gas station. She had gone over scenarios in her mind and what was really stumping her is the vitamins that ADA Blumenthal had asked her is she had. Why would Jinny be taking vitamins unless it is to get in better health since she had stopped drinking? This was really beginning to annoy her. She hated to admit it but she wanted to know what all this was about. It is not like her to delve into her inspectors personal lives but Jinny had just gone thru a big ordeal overcoming alcohol and she didn't want to see her fall back in her old routine.

By this time the two were completely awake, and Jinny was putting on her shoes.
"So what time tonight?" he asks standing near his table with a coffee cup in his hand which he had been drinking from.
"I told the guys around 5:30." she says looking up from pushing on her shoe.
"Okay that's great."
"Also.." Jinny begins as she puts on her other shoe. "I'm taking Ben out for icecream." her eyes widen with a grin.
"Aww, I see. Taking other guys out." Theodore laughs.
"Yeah, you know me." she stands up and looks at her watch. "I have got to get home and get a quick shower before I go pick him up."
"Oh well hey..Let me make you something really quick to eat."
Jinny puts her hands up in front of her and walks over to him to say her goodbyes, "No no, I'll grab something when I get home."
"Please Jin." he gives her a look.
"Okay fine." she smiles and follows him to the kitchen. "Have any bagels?"
"Your in luck..." Theodore reply's walking walking to the cupboard in his kitchen and opening it up, "Is uh...Raisin okay?" he asks pulling out a bag of Bagels.
"Sure." she laughs, "That's fine."
"Okay." he reply's putting his hand in the bag and taking out one. "Here...you go." Theodore reply's handing the bagel to Jinny and wrapping the bag back up and putting it into the cupboard.
Jinny bites into the bagel and begins walking out of the kitchen. Theodore watching this he sighs and says, "Come on let me just get you something else. That's not enough."
Turning around Jinny gives him a look, "It's fine. A bagel is a good breakfast"
"Okay fine. Just promise you'll eat something more before you go for that icecream."
"Okay, I'll eat something more when i get home. I promise." she shakes her head at him. "Happy?"
"Very much." he smirks. With that the two walk out of the kitchen,and toward the door. Theodore behind Jinny.
"So I'll see you around 3?"
"Sure that'll be great." she says biting the bagel to hold it with her mouth and grabs the coat from the coathanger. Theodore helps her into it,and she takes the bagel back out of her mouth and turns around to face him. "Well, I'll see you later." she smiles at him.
"Okay." Theodore reply's leaning down meeting Jin with a brief kiss. "You drive safely." he adds.
"Of course. I always drive safely." Jinny adds turning around and opening up the door, "Oh and uh thanks." she grins and walks down the hall of the apartment building.

Angela awoke to smell of coffee brewing and what smelled like Daniel cooking one of his special breakfasts he liked to on Sunday mornings when he didn't have to work. Angela didn't have time to wonder cause Daniel walked thru the bedroom carrying a breakfast tray that smelled wonderful. Daniel saw that Angela was already awake and said, "You ruined my surprise Angie, I was going to wake you up with breakfast in bed." Angela replied, "Sorry about that, I woke up to the smell of coffee actually." Daniel walked over to the bed and set the tray down it contained 2 cups of coffee and 2 glasses of orange juice a bowl of fresh fruit and Angela's favorite French toast with lots of syrup. "Daniel why all the fuss?" Angela asked. "No reason, just trying to make up for deserting you yesterday morning Angie." Daniel replied. Angela said, "Well it looks delicious Daniel." Daniel leans over and gives Angela a quick kiss and starts dishing up her some French toast and fruit.

Standing up on a step stool Benjamin stood over the counter mixing the pancake batter as he had asked his mom if he could. Magda was preparing the grill. Once she had it plugged and heating she took out two plates and brought them over to where Ben was, "Hey baby. Why don't you go put these on the table,and I'll finish this up."
"Okay.." he says letting go of the spoon that he had been mixing it with.
"Benjamin!!" Magda exclaims as it falls into the batter and sinks.
"Ooh, Sorry." Ben reply's getting down from the stool.
"It's okay." his mom reply's and hands him the plates that were in her hands. He takes them and heads for the table still in his pajama's.
Magda gives the pancake batter some more mixing the tests the grill to see if it's the right heat with a drop of the batter...When it was the correct heat she pours the batter onto the grill. By this time Ben had pushed his stool over close to his mom again and was watching, "Make me a Mickey Mouse pancake."
"What do you say, Ben?"
"Please."
"Okay." she reply's pouring some more batter onto the grill in shap of Mickey Mouses head. Two big ears and a head.
"Cool!!!!" Ben looks at it with a smile.

Jinny had just gotten home and went straight for the kitchen looking for something else to eat. She hated to admit it but Theodore was right she was still hungry. She opened up the cabinet and pulled down the pretzels and started munching on them while looking in the fridge for something more to eat. She didn't see anything that looked good. She smiled at all the Theodore had bought for her and the baby. He really was being great about all that she had laid on him only 3 days ago. It seemed like longer but it had only been three days since she had found out she was pregnant. Jinny closed the fridge and opened up the cupboards and noticed some waffle mix, that sounded good to her so she proceeded to make waffles. Once the waffles were done she poured herself a glass of milk and walked to the table with her waffles and milk, smiling cause Theodore would be proud she was actually drinking milk. Jinny finished her breakfast and wondered if she should take a nap cause today was going to be very draining on her when her family comes over for dinner. She picked up her plate and put it in the sink with the glass and walked back to her bedroom to rest for a while before taking her shower and going to get Ben.

Angela and Daniel had finished their breakfast and Daniel was walking out of the bedroom with the tray. Angela headed to the Master Bathroom leans over and turns on the water to the bathtub gets it at the correct temperature and plugs the drain. She then added a few bath beads and leaves the bathroom as the water fills the tub.

Walking over C.D. pulls out her lightly toasted bread from the toaster and reaches for the butter and smooths some over her two peices of toast. Puts the butterknife in the sink,and recovers the butter walking out of the kitchen with her breakfast in hand.

Noon came around quickly. Jinny was supposed to be picking up Benjamin around 12:30- 12:45.
"Ben, go get into the shower. Jinny's going to be here soon to pick you up!" Magda calls walking out of the bathroom from taking her shower.
"I'm going..." Ben calls from his room. He was playing with his action figure on his bed.
His mom could hear him making shooting and missel noises from the hall, "Ben, Jinny's not going to wait around for you to get ready." Magda adds walking toward her room.
"Okay, Mom." he reply's getting up from his bed ,opening up his dresser drawers and grabbing a pair of clothes for the day. Neglecting to close the drawers again he walks out of the bedroom clothes in hand ,and stops in the hall ,opens the linen closet door pulls out a towel and heads for the bathroom for his shower.

Jinny started to stir from the nap. She opened her eyes and glanced at the clock. She still had plenty of time to get her shower before she had to leave to get Ben. She must admit she really needed that nap. Jinny got up and made her way to the bathroom to take her shower. She turned on the water and tested it to make sure it was the right temp before shedding her clothes and getting in. She felt the pressure of the water descending down on her.
Jinny got out of the shower drying herself off and grabbed her robe, she started to dry her hair with the towel and walked into her bedroom closet to get some clothes to wear for the day. As she turned on the light switch she realized she would not be able to wear these clothes much longer. She would have to go shopping for some maternity clothes. Jinny grabbed a black button up shirt and a pair of jeans and got dressed. She walked into the living room and grabbed her coat and keys and headed out the door to pick up Ben.

Standing in the hall of Magda's apartment building she knocked on the door and waited for a reply.
"Come in, Jinny." Magda called to her from down the hall.
Hearing this Jinny opens the door to the apartment and walks in, "Hey I'm here!"
"Hi Jin. I'll be right there." Magda calls from her room.
"No problem. Take your time." Jinny reply's back and walks over to the couch and sat down making herself comfortable. Before she had time to move again Ben and Magda came from the hall.
"I was combing his hair out." Magda smiles.
"Hey Jinny!" Ben grins at her.
"You look very..." Jinny moves her hand joking with him...
"Nice?" Ben asks.
Jinny's eyes widen, "That's the word!" she smiles.
"So you know what time you'll be back?" Magda asks, "I wanted to know if I had time to go to the store and pick up some groceries. Otherwise I can wait for Ben to get back."
Shrugging Jinny looks from Magda to Ben, "How does Icecream and maybe the park sound then to you? Since your mom has to go shopping. I'm sure you don't want to go do that do you?" she smiles and glances up to Magda whom shakes her head with and laughs slightly, "You spoil him, Jinny."
"I do not." she smirks. "There's nothing wrong with going out to have some fun. Now is there?"
"You're too much.. Just watch him."
Jinny gives Magda look, "Oh there goes my plans then." she reply's sarcastically. "Of course I'll watch him. He's come back alive everyother time I've taken him." Jin then adds,"I know, Mag. 'You never can be too careful' I know all this already. Don't worry. He'll be fine."

Theodore had just made himself a sub sandwich and was sitting down to eat when the phone rang. Theodore put his sandwich down and walked over to get the phone. "Hello" Theodore said, "Hey Teddy, I just called Mom and Dad and I hear Congratulations are in order." Matthew said. "If you are talking about me being a daddy then yes Congratulations are in order. Which one told you Matt? Theodore asked. "It was Mom actually. Although, she did say something about you not being married and going to be a father. I think she would have preferred if you were married first Teddy." Matthew said. "Yeah I know Matt I heard that yesterday when Jinny and I told Mom and Dad. Did Mom also tell you it was girl, you are going to have a niece." Theodore said enthusiastically. Matthew heard how happy Theodore sounded and was happy for his brother. "Yes Teddy, Mom said she was getting a granddaughter. So when do I get to meet the mother of my niece?" Matthew asked as he smiled to himself over how happy Theodore seemed to be about the fact. "When are you going to be in town?" Theodore asked. "I am going to be down in about a month. We can get together then if that is okay with you Teddy?" Matthew said. Theodore replied, "I will check with Jinny and get back to you okay Matt." Theodore said. "Great I will call you when I get there then Teddy and we can arrange it then. But I have to get going, Once again congratulations Teddy." Matthew said. "Thanks Matt, I will talk to you later." Theodore said. He hung up the phone and went back to the table and his lunch.

Walking around to the drives side door after unlocking Ben's door Jinny opens hers, gets in and goes to buckle herself in. Benjamin beside her in the passengers seat. When she looks over at him he is sitting up in his seat studying her.
"What? What's wrong?" she says alittle uneasy. "Something a matter?" again she asks looking down at herself. Jin couldn't find anything wrong so she looks back at Ben for a reply.
"Where's the baby?"
Widening her eyes Jinny looks at Ben, "Ooh, the baby." she nods nervously. "Well she's not here yet."
"Yeah...okay.." Ben reply's.
Giving him one last look Jinny starts the car and drives out of the driveway. Driving down the road both were quiet until Ben breaks the silence.
"Mom said the baby was inside you?" he questions.
Glancing over again at Ben. Jinny was surprised by this question,but quickly looked back to the road. Before she had gotten into the car with Ben and he had popped the first question. She didn't even know he knew about the baby. So Jinny hadn't had time to prepare herself for these questions. Afterall she still wasn't completely set with the idea herself. It wasn't only a new concept for Ben.
"Yeah, she is." she finally reply's watching the road.
Again Benjamin nods and studies Jinny, "So..." he shakes his head. "Where is she inside you?"
Jinny takes her hand from the stirring wheel , "Right here." she says bringing her hand to her stomach then back to the stirring wheel.
"Okay..So she's in your stomach?"
"Umm no..well....Close enough."
"Cool!" he reply's then thinks for another question as Jinny continues to drive. "Where do babies come from, Jinny?"
Once again Jinny gives Benjamin a look that totally said 'You have got to be kidding.' Ben just looks back at her waiting for a reply.

When she doesn't say anything quick enough he opens his mouth to ask again.
"Ah, hold that thought." Jinny put up her hand then stuffs it into her coat pocket and grabs her cell phone out of it. She dials a number and hands it to Ben, "Here ya go. Ask him."
Without saying anything Ben puts the phone to his ear. Still surprised at the subtle reaction of Jinny. He listened to each ring. Not knowing whom was going to pick up.
Finally there was a click and a friendly voice asked, "Hello?"
Cutting straight to the chase Benjamin asks, "Where do babies from from?"
The friendly voice on the other line hits back with their own question, "Who is this?"
"Ben." he reply's.
"Oh, Ben, so uh..Did Jin put you up to this?"
"Who is this?" Ben asks before answering the question. "Yeah she handed me the phone. Who are you?"
"My name is Theodore." he laughs.
Ben takes the phone from his ear and looks at Jinny whispering, "Who is Theodore?" his hand over the phone,but not enough, for Teddy could still hear him.
Jinny laughs at Ben being so quiet. "Well then, why don't you ask Theodore." she smiles stopping at a traffic light.
He nods and places the phone back to his ear hesitates a moment. "Who are you? I mean...." Ben's voice drifts off as he thinks what he wanted to say, "I mean. Like..how does Jinny know you?"
"Well, I'm her uh...well...I'm her baby's dad." he answers.
"Ooooh. You're the dad." he nods, "That makes sense....So where did the baby come from?"
Pondering that question Theodore puts his sandwich down on the table and thinks of a good explanation. He could hear Jinny in the background coughing rather falsely. She'd been doing that quite a lot lately.
"This is kind of hard to talk about over the phone." was Teddy's excuse. He figured that way he could get out of it. Besides, he didn't know what Magda wanted him to know.
"That's okay. Do you want to come for icecream with me and Jinny?"
"Yeah, I think that's a good idea." Jinny says outloud for Theodore to hear.
"I uh...I'd like that." he answers. "Hey,Ben, can you do me a favor?"
Ben nods at the phone, "Okay."
"Can I speak to Jinny real quick."
"Sure. Bye." Ben reply's handing the phone to Jinny.
"Hey." she says into the phone.
"Hey, Jin. I was invited for icecream I see."
"Yes you were." she laughs.
"So where ya heading?"
"Actually, we're going to Baskin Robbins on the Corner of Sunshine and California street. After that the park."
"Great, I'm going to be going to Baskin Robbins to explain the miracle of life to an 8 year old."
"Yeah, I'm sure you can't wait either."
Theodore laughs, "Yeah this scores right up there with having my teeth drilled."

Walking from the kitchen with a cup of Caf. Coffee. Which was a change from Kate's Decaf she walks down the hall and arrives at her mother's closed bedroom door. She figured she'd stop in and say hello before she headed out for the day. Afterall she had some errands she had to run and actually change clothes from yesterday. Putting her free hand on the doorknob she turns it and walks inside to see her mother peacefully sleeping quietly. She looked so much better today. Her color was back to normal, and she didn't have the weazing noise that she had the day before when she breathed.

Several minutes after Jinny hung up the phone she was pulling into the driveway of 'Baskin Robbins'. "Here we go." she says parking the car and shutting the engine off.
"Yeah, Thanks Jinny!"
"No problem." she reply's opening her cardoor and getting out. Ben does the same and waits for Jinny to round the car walking toward the door before he begins to walk.
"So you know what you're goin' to get?" she asks opening up the door for him to walk in. As the two walks in the Man behind the counter glances up and looks Jinny over.
Ben shakes his head and shrugs, "Hmm, I don't know! What are you getting?"
"Actually, I think I'll wait for Theodore."
"Ooh okay." he nods and looks into the glass at the flavors of icecream. While he did this Jinny walks over to the side and looked into the tall freezer at all the Icecream Cakes and different icecream cookies ,etc. She gave a look and smiled at the icecream cone that was turned upside down and a face printed on the icecream it's self. This was interupted by a tapping on her arm. She looked down at Ben, "I picked what I want."
"Great, So whatcha getting?" Jinny reply's with a smile and follows Ben back over to the icecream freezers near the counter.
"A scoop of....."He pauses and looks into the freezers for it. "That!" he finally finds and points to it.
"Chocolate Chip?" she questions placing her hand on the counter as she leans onto it..
"Yeah, I love that. Mommy buys it for me sometimes!"
The Man behind the counter with the 31 Flavors Logo on his shirt and viser smiles at Ben as he hears him talk about his mother. So obviously the nice dark headed woman wasn't his mother after all. His next instict was look down at her finger for any form of her being married.
"Okay great." Jinny says and then looks at the Man behind the counter whom was obviously looking down at something on the counter. She didn't totally grasp that is was her hand.. "Hey, ...Umm" she pauses. "Excuse me."
The many looks up at her. "We'll take a scoop of Chocolate Chip."

The man looks up, "Oh, Is that one scoop or two? Cone or Dish?" he asks looking up at Jinny whom in return looks down at Ben.
"Cone or Bowl, Ben?"
"Icecream Cone!" he reply's.
"One Scoop. Cone." Jinny says looking back at the man.
Okay, Comin' right up." the man reply's taking a breath ,turning around to wash his hands.
In that moment a bell on the door chimes as Theodore walks in.
"Hey, Sorry it took me so long." Teddy says walking over to Jinny and Ben. "How are you, Ben?" he asks bending down. "I'm Theodore." he puts out his hand.
"Hi Theodore!" Ben grins and shakes Teddy's hand. Feeling so grown up at this chance.
Teddy then nods his head at him and stands up, and kisses Jinny on the cheek, "So how are my girls?" he asks putting his arm around Jinny for a quick embrace.
The icecream guy glances up at the 'Girls' remark as he gets the icecream. He smiles so his cover wouldn't be blown that he was interested in Jin. Although now it was completely evident she had someone,but hey didn't mean he couldn't look he thought to himself.
"We're doing fine.." Jinny grins back at Theodore.
Once the man got the icecream dished onto the cone he hands it over the cash register to Jinny, "That'll be.." he types up the charge. "A dollar and 12 cents."
Reaching in her back pocket she takes out her wallet,and pulls out the money handing it to the man.
"Why didn't you get anything?" Theodore asks Jinny as she recieves the extra change back.
"Well, I was going to,but then decided to wait for you. Besides I don't want any icecream right now." she reply's turning around and walking over to a table with Theodore and Ben following with his icecream in hand. Jinny then stops at a table located infront of the windows in the corner of the icecream shop.
"Then I assume you ate when you went home?"
"Of course." Jinny reply's pulling out Ben a chair at the table. Once he is sat she goes to pull out a chair for herself,but Theodore pulled hers out. Jin then sits and shortly after Theodore does the same. "I made some waffles actually." she smiles.
"Good." he nods with a smile as the two look at Ben enjoying his icecream. Both knowing the questions were coming sooner or later.

CD pulled into the parking lot at Anchorside. She just didn't feel like cooking for one today. She got out of her car and walked into Anchorside. She adjusted her eyes to the lighting inside Anchorside and decided she would sit at the bar since she was not meeting anyone. CD walked over to the bar and sit down when Sean turned around and said "Hey CD, I will be with you in a minute okay?" CD replies, "No problem. Take your time." CD glances around and sees that the Anchorside is just as busy on Sundays as it is thru the week. She could understand that they had good food. Sean comes back over to CD and said, "What can I get you today CD?" CD replied, "I would like a chef's salad and an Ice Tea ,Sean." "Is that all CD?" Sean asks. "Yeah for now, I might even go for desert today." CD replied. "Oh really, you like desert, I can help with that one." Frank said from behind CD. CD turned around and looked at Frank and said, "What are you doing following me Frank?"

Pulling a napkin from the dispenser on the table Ben wipes his mouth clean then looks at Jinny and Theodore, "Okay..." he pauses and takes another lick of his icecream, "So you two are having a baby you said." he waits for a reply.
"That's correct." Theodore nods his hands himfront of him on the table.
"Well...if you're having a baby how did it get there? Mom tried to explain it last night, but...I still don't understand." Ben asks confused about the whole subject.
"Baby's aren't just there all of a sudden..." Jinny reply's her voice drifting off and looks at Theodore.
"They're made by two people. Whom usually come together in love." Teddy adds.
Benjamin nods, "Yeah..that's what mom said, and stuff."
"Well good. That's that then." Jinny reply's
"No wait..I just remembered something. So if the two people make them together and everything. How did the baby get inside Jinny?"
Both Jinny and Theodore's eyes widen. "Well......" Theodore swallows and looks at Jinny. Whom is return gives a look and shrugs, "It was made inside, Jinny." Teddy nods after a moment to think. "I thought you said two people make it together. So that means. You and Jinny made it together. Right?" Ben asks.
"Right..." Jinny answers.
"How did you make it inside her though?"
"Well Ben when two people love each other they want to show it to each other and they do this by making love." Theodore reply's putting his hand out infront of Jinny.
The man behind the counter begins to glide his washrag over the counters beside the cash register before making his way out toward the tables. He notices how close the dark headed woman was with the guy and shrugs it off.
Ben sighs and shakes his head, "This isn't helping. What does making love mean?"
"Okay Ben, if you really want to know. I can tell you." Theodore pauses and takes a breath.
Nodding Ben reply's, "Okay..I want to know."
"Okay, When a Man" he motions to himself , "And a woman." he motions to Jin. "Love eachother .." he begins before getting cut off by Jinny.
"Your mom did teach you the basics. You know the difference between boys and girls?" she asks.
"Yeah she did."
"Well that's a start." Jinny reply's.
Theodore nods and begins again, "The two like to express their love. They express it with 'making love'.... Not everything leads to making love. Kissing......is not making love. That's expressing the love or effection they have for one another,but making love is more of a private matter." he starts off.
"Hey, I'll be right back." Jinny leans over as she gets up and says, "Bathroom." to Theodore and stands.
"Okay, no problem, Jinny. I've got this." he smiles and looks back to Jinny. The man from
behind the counter is now cleaning off the table behind Benjamin,but Teddy couldn't help but notice the man glance to the side of him and stares at Jin from behind until she had made it completely into the bathroom he then finishes what he had been doing.
'What nerve.' Theodore thought to himself as he focused his attention on the guy whom kept looking back toward the bathrooms every so often as he washed the tables. Teddy then sighs and shakes his head. It wasn't that he was full out jealous. Just figured the guy had a lot of nerve checking out a pregnant woman. Yeah, so you couldn't actually tell yet,but that wasn't the point. This was broken off by Ben, "Okay...............?" he asks.

Magda pulled into the parking lot at the grocery store and wondered how things were going with Jinny and Ben. She could just imagine all the questions Ben might have for Jinny. She smiled to herself and thought this could give Jinny an idea of what it is like to be a mother. Magda got out and walked towards the store. She pulled out her list as she pulls out the cart and starts to get the things off her list. This should go pretty quickly Magda thought to herself cause Ben in not here to put everything he can think of in the cart that were not exactly good for him. She had to smile though at what Jinny and Theodore had to look forward to when their daughter is old enough to help her shop. Magda turned the cart down the fruit aisle and started heading for the fruits for her and Ben.
Meanwhile Kate had just entered the store headed thru to pick up some items that she had neglected since her mom had gotten worse. Kate steers her cart down the fruit aisle. She noticed that Magda was in the fruit aisle also. She wondered to herself maybe Mag knows what is going on with Jinny they are partners after all. She figured why not give it a shot. Kate pushed her cart over to Magda's and said, "I see you have
shopping to do today also, where is Ben?" Magda turned around with saw her Captain standing there looking some kiwi. "Yeah I thought I would get the grocery shopping done while Ben is out with Jinny." Magda relied. Kate thought this was as good a time as any since Magda brought her up and said, "Yeah I ran into Jinny yesterday at the gas station with ADA Blumenthal." Magda replied, "Oh I see." "What I thought was strange though was that Jinny had a bag of pretzels in her hand and a thing of milk. I just can not picture Jinny drinking milk." Kate said. Magda looked at the Captain and could tell she wanted to know what is up with Jinny and she was fishing for answers from her. "Well maybe Jinny just likes milk with her pretzels. I wouldn't know Jinny likes a lot of things." Magda replied. Kate thought for a moment and wasn't sure if she should let her inspector know she had overheard their conversation about the vitamins.

When Jinny had returned from the bathroom she sits down and looks at the two. "So?" she asks breaking the silence.
"I know it all now." Ben reply's looking over at Theodore then to Jinny, "I still can't believe people actually do that." he makes a face.
Theodore laughs, "Well they do."
"You won't think it's all too bad when you get older. Trust me." Jinny adds in.
"Don't be so sure about that." Ben answers. "I'm finished with this." he adds holding a half eaten icecream cone in his hand and dried icecream over his hands.
"Okay go throw it away and go wash your hands in the bathroom. We'll wait for you right here." Jinny reply's.
"Okay I'll be right back." Benjamin says and gets up from his chair throws away the icecream and heads for the restrooms.
"So was the so bad?"
"No, I really enjoy talking to kids about sex." Theodore reply's joking. "No actually it wasn't all that bad,but Jin you should have saw his face. He couldn't believe what making love meant."
Jinny widens her eyes and grins shaking her head, "Well he would have found out one of this days."
"Hopefully Magda doesn't mind me telling him straight out."
"No, don't worry about Mag. I got her covered."
"How do you mean?"
"Well for one she'll probably thank you for telling him. Afterall she doesn't have to now."
He laughs and nods, "You're right."
"I know."
"Oh yeah..and so you uh know. That guy who works here. He was practically staring a hole through you on the way to the bathroom!"
"Your joking ,right?" she laughs.
Theodore shakes his head, "Actually no I'm not." he looks at her.
"Oh, well...uh..." she glances over to the counter,and sees the guy looking at her. He quickly looks away when she looks at him. Looking back to Theodore she shakes her head, "Let's get out of here."
At that moment Ben comes out of the bathroom rubbing his hands on his pants drying his hands. Theodore and Jinny then get up from the table when Ben finally arrives near them.
"What do you say we get to the park?" Jinny asks looking down at Ben with a smile as she adjusts her coat after she stands.
"Yeah!!! Can Theodore come too!?" Ben asks excited. Suddenly taking a liking to Theodore.
"Sure why not. As long as he's up for it." Jinny grins and both she and Ben look to Teddy for his
answer.
"Of course I'm up for it. I wouldn't have it any other way!" he laughs.
"YES!" Ben says.
Together the three head for the door to leave. Instead of walking directly to the door Jinny walks over to the cashier counter. Theodore and Ben both stop at the door and look over to Jinny.
Jinny stops for a second then looks directly at the guy, "You know. Maybe next time..Take a damn picture it lasts a hell of a lot longer." she reply's slanting to the side before leaving. Her coat naturally opens partly and reveals her gun holster.Coincidentally....
She then walks toward the door where Ben had already walked out and Theodore stood holding the door open. Before she walks out she stops and turns around, "Oh and uh..by the way... Thanks for the icecream." she then turns and leaves. Theodore behind her.

"No CD I'm hurt that you would think that." Frank stated.
"Sorry Frank, but it just seems like wherever I am I run into you lately." CD said.
"I just came for lunch and I saw you over her all by yourself and I thought I would grace you with my company." Frank said.
"Oh I see you thought I was lonely and needed company, well thanks but no thanks Frank, I happen to enjoy being by myself." CD stated.
"Oh I see we are touchy today, what didn't you sleep well on the couch?" Frank asked.
"By the way what time did you leave last night?" CD asked.
"So now you want my company?" Frank said.
"I never said that I just wanted to know when you left last night." CD said.
"Well don't worry I didn't do anything to tar your precious reputation CD. I was a total gentleman when you fell asleep, I even put the cover over you before I left." Frank said.

Angela finished putting the dishes from their lunch in the dishwasher. Daniel had went to the clinic this afternoon which left her with time to get some things done. She needed to get some cleaning done she had been lazy all weekend and she had to go back to work tomorrow. So she had to get her housework done before Daniel got back. She had put it off far to long.

Now at the Park Ben went running into the sand to the slides and junglegyms. He stopped and looked back at Jinny and Theodore, "Well....Aren't you coming?" he asks.
"Sure we are. Just give us a second." Theodore reply's looking at Ben.
"Okay,but hurry!" Ben smiles and runs up the steps of the junglegym play area.
Theodore looks to Jinny and says, "So I see being pregnant hasn't changed your sarcastic replies that you gave that store clerk." "Well I didn't do anything for him to look at me and I didn't appreciate being stared at. Couldn't the idiot see I was taken or is he blind." Jinny said realizing she had said she was taken. She looked at Theodore to see his reaction and he was smiling from ear to ear. Theodore replied, "Taken huh? I like that answer. I know you didn't do anything to cause him to look at you like that. I also must say I thought when I saw him checking you out that he had a lot of nerve checking out a pregnant woman like he was. I know you are
not showing yet but you know." "Were you jealous Theodore?" Jinny asked with a smirk. "No, I was just saying it was wrong for a guy to check out a pregnant woman the way he was staring at you." Theodore said. "I see, so you weren't jealous at all?" Jinny stated. Theodore saw that he wasn't going to get out of this so he might as well tell her. "Well, maybe a little bit, is that okay with you, I love you Jinny I can't help it if I get a little jealous when some guy is checking out my lady." Theodore said. "Aaww that is sweet." Jinny said as she leaned in and gave Teddy a kiss full on the lips. The kiss started to turn passionate when Ben came up and said, "Come on you two, you can do that later."

Kate realized what she had said before she could take it back. "I think Jinny will be just fine Captain. What are you talking about vitamins?" Magda asked. Kate figured since she had went this far she might as well go all the way. "Well at the gas station yesterday when I was going to pay for my coffee I overheard ADA Blumenthal ask Jinny if she had her vitamins with her and she had said yes. Also when they came around the corner and we were standing in line I overheard him say to Jinny she doesn't know does she. And I have been worried ever since. I was hoping that Jinny is still off the wagon. And hadn't went back to drinking." Magda smiled to herself at the thought of the Captain trying to figure out from the little she heard what was going on with Jinny. She knew Captain was dying of curiosity but it is not her secret to tell. "Well you can ask Jinny tomorrow if you want. But I have a feeling that Jinny is still not drinking, especially now." Magda said. She realized she shouldn't have said the especially now part but it slipped.

Ben had finally gotten both Jinny and Theodore out into the sand to play tag with him. So now they had taken the more calm approach to things and migrated to the swings. Theodore was behind Ben's pushing him everytime he came back at him. While Jinny sat on the swing beside Ben. Playing with Ben for that short time had worn her out. Which was quite a change. Usually she'd bring him down here herself every so often and he'd always insist on playing tag,and she'd be fine after. Just now things were different.
"Higher!!" Ben said going up into the air.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, Higher!" he says again.
"Trust me. He's sure Teddy. He'll stay on these things all day." Jinny laughed.
"Okay, hold on!" Theodore gave Ben one last big push, and walked over behind Jinny.
"Everything okay? You look tired. Don't forget we've got dinner with your dad and brothers tonight."
"Oh god, what time is it?" she reply's pushing her coat sleeve up and checking her watch.
"Relax. It's only 2:00" he answers.

Angela walked back to the kitchen and straightens up in there as she is humming the song she just heard on the radio by a singer named Cory Sipper called “This Veil.” She liked the music to the song. She thought to herself I will have to look for the CD. She pushed the chairs into the kitchen table as she started sweeping the floor. She picked up the trash and dumped it in the trash can as she headed for the living room to straighten up.

C.D.'s lunch had long since been placed in front of her. Almost finished with her lunch that she came to eat by herself, Frank had lingered around her. Giving her a sense of confusion as she ate.
'I wonder why he all of a sudden is everywhere I am.' , 'If this was one of his weird plans to annoy me. It's working.' was just a few thoughts circulating through her head.
Frank then leans his arm on the bar beside C.D. and leans his weight onto it, "You know,Candace. Can I call you that? I happened to notice it on your nameplate at work."
"No, in a matter of fact you can't."
"Okay then, C.D." he begins again. "You know I was thinking. Since we had such a nice time last night. Maybe we could do it again?" Frank questions.
"Frank, you showed up to my house. Sat on a seperate couch than me,and we watched the movie in silence practically." She looks at him.
"Yeah well... It was nice."
"Perez, are you asking me out?"
Frank tilts his head for a quick second and shrugs, "Call it whatever you want."
"That's really nice of you and all,but ....No! " she turns him down flat.
"Why not? We could have many more nights like last night."
"That's what I'm afraid of." C.D. says under her breath.
"Excuse me?"
"Nothing, Frank."
"Come on tell me."
"Don't push it, Perez. You already invade peoples personal space without being invited. I wouldn't push it if i were you."

Arriving at a traffic light Jinny looks over to Ben whom is being rather quiet.
"You okay, Ben?" she asks.
He nods his head, "Yeah, Just thinking."
"About what?" she asks in a lighthearted tone of voice.
"Just stuff."
Jinny shrugs, "Stuff? What kind of stuff?"
This time is was Ben's turn he shrugs," Tomorrow is Monday,huh?"

"Oh, you don't like Monday's either?" she jokes.

"What is it then?"
"I don't know.." he looks at her then back down to his hands in his lap......"There's this kid at school."

"Well then. Tell your mom. I'm sure she can clear it all up for you."
"Yeah, she has said that before."
"You believe her?"
Ben just shrugs.
"Aww,Come on Ben. Give your mom a chance. She's great. She can clear it all up. Without you getting hit."
"I know,but then... I get called a baby, Jinny!"
"You're not a baby." The light turns green and Jinny takes off. "So don't let it get to you. Since apparently this guy isn't your best friend. Just ignore him. It works for me."
"You mean you get called names?"
"Sure, everyone does. One day or another."
"Cool!" Ben smiles.
"Do me a favor then?"
"Sure."
"Tell your mom about it ,okay?"
"Okay."

I resent that.” Frank said. “Well Frank, correct me if I am wrong but yesterday you spent lunchtime with me and my partner uninvited I might ask and last night you show up at my place, again uninvited, and this afternoon you insinuate your way into having lunch again with me uninvited again I might add.” CD said. The door to the Anchorside opened and in walked Kate she quickly scanned the room and saw that CD was there with Frank of all people, her inspectors were really surprising her this weekend. Kate walks toward CD and Frank and she hears them bickering, no surprise there laughed Late to herself. “I am beginning to feel like you don’t want me around CD and after I spared you from an afternoon of loneliness and this is the thanks I get in return. Some people just can’t accept a generous gesture can they.” Frank said. “Generous yeah okay, what is in it for you Perez?” CD replied. “Hey CD am I interrupting anything?” Kate asked. CD turned around to she her Captain standing there and thought good a reprieve from Perez. “No Captain not at all, we were finished right Perez?” CD replied. “Well if that is the case I have a few things I would like to get your opinion on then CD.” Kate replied. “Sure thing Captain, would you like to grab a table then?” CD asked. “Yeah we could grab a table, you don’t mind do you Frank?” Kate asked. “Of course not, Captain, CD we will continue this conversation later.” Frank said. CD replied, “It is finished Frank.”

Jinny pulled in the parking lot at Magda’s and saw that Mag’s car was there so she was back from grocery shopping. She put the car in park and turned off the engine as she looked at Ben and said, “So did you have fun Ben?” “I had a lot of fun and I like Theodore, he will be a good daddy for your baby, tell him I said thanks for explaining where babies come from.” Ben replied. Jinny said, “I will tell him, I also think Theodore will be a good daddy. You had better let me tell your mom though that you know where babies come from, don’t forget your promise sweet boy.” “I won’t I will talk to mom.” Ben replied. Jinny opened her door to get out and Ben followed her lead.

So how were ice cream and the park?” Magda asked. “I had a chocolate chip ice cream cone and I learned where babies come from.” Ben stated rather happily. Magda looks at Jinny who shrugs her shoulders and replied, “Well he asked Mag, seems he overheard about the baby and wanted to know how the baby was inside of me.” “Yeah Mom Jinny dialed this phone number and told me to ask him where babies come from.” Ben stated. Mag looks up at Jinny and said, “Who is this him you let my son talk to?” Ben replied, “It was this nice man named Theodore.” Jinny looked at Ben and said, “Well he kept asking Mag and look at it this way, you don’t have to tell him now he already knows. Besides Theodore told him not me.” Magda said, “Oh nice Jinny you let Theodore tell my son on a cell phone.” “No Mom, Theodore meet us at the ice cream place and then he went to the park with us. Theodore is a nice guy, Mom. I like him.” Ben answered. “Well you know Ben invited Theodore to join us Mag, and he was wanting answers to all his questions so Theodore explained to him. Ben now knows were babies come from. And then Ben asked Teddy to come to the park with us. Ben said you tried to explain it to him last night but he still didn’t understand. Look at it this way you don’t have to figure out a way to tell him.” Jinny said. “Thanks Jin, just what I needed a 7 year old who knows the facts of life.” Magda said. “But Mom I am going to be 8 in a month. I am not a baby anymore.” Ben said. “No Ben you are not. Why don’t you tell Jinny bye and go get washed up so you can help me with supper.” Magda said. “Do I have to?” Ben asked. “Yes Benjamin go wash up.” Magda replied. “Ok I am going.” Jinny said, “Bye Ben, I had fun and so did Theodore. I will see you later okay. I have to get going anyways. I have to go start supper myself.” “Bye Jinny and tell Theodore thanks.” Ben replied as he walked down the hallway. “So what is the occasion that you are cooking Jin?” Magda asked. “Well Dad, Casey and John Jr. are coming over so Theodore and I can tell them the news, something I am really looking forward to, not.” “Come on Jin, it won’t be that bad.” Magda said. Jinny replied, “This is my dad and John Jr. we are talking about. Casey already knows. I told him on the phone last night and he was like Wow I am going to be an Uncle. But I am not sure how Dad and John Jr. are going to take it. Teddy says it won’t be that bad, but I kinda think he is wrong.” “Give them a chance Jin.” Magda replied. “Yeah okay, if you say so.” Jinny replied sarcastically. “Well tell me how it went tomorrow at work, speaking of work I ran into the Captain at the store and she overheard about the vitamins and was asking if everything is alright. She is curious about it Jin, she also overheard Teddy say she doesn’t know does she.” Magda said. “Oh great, now I can look forward to being called into her office first thing in the morning. Something to really be happy about, I have to go though Teddy is already at my place. Talk to you tomorrow at work.” Jinny said. “Good luck Jin.” Magda said as Jinny was walking out the door.

Angela walked back to the kitchen and straightens up in there as she is humming the song she just heard on the radio by a singer named Cory Sipper called “This Veil.” She liked the music to the song. She thought to herself I will have to look for the CD. She pushed the chairs into the kitchen table as she started sweeping the floor. She picked up the trash and dumped it in the trash can as she headed for the living room to straighten up.

Jinny had her keys out to open the door then remembered that Theodore was there, waiting on her so they could tell her dad and brothers about the baby. Jinny opened the door and called out “Hey, sorry it took me so long but Magda wanted a full report.” Theodore rounded the corner of the kitchen into the living room and went over and helped Jinny off with her coat and said, “That is fine Jinny, I hope you don’t mind but I have the meatloaf ready to go into the oven. I wasn’t sure if that is what you wanted but we really needed to get it going so it would be done in time for your dad and brothers when they got here.” “Meatloaf is fine, and thanks Teddy. So what is left to do?” Jinny asked. “Nothing Jinny just put in the meatloaf and wait for it to bake. I have the potatoes already to go in also. I figured we would have meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, a salad, and some green beans, topped off with milk of course.” Theodore said. Jinny smiled at his comment about the milk and said, “Wow you certainly have been busy haven’t you? I am sorry that you had to do it all. I really wanted to help after all it is my family.” “That is fine Jin, I didn’t mind at all. Besides I promised you a meal last night and you helped with it so tonight I get to make the meal on my own.” Theodore leaned down and gave Jinny a kiss and said, “I just need to go put the meatloaf and potatoes in the oven and then all we have to do is wait for everyone to show up.” “Wow handsome and you can cook to.” Jinny said as She followed Theodore into the kitchen.

Magda was in the kitchen cutting up chicken for supper, for Ben and her when she heard Ben coming down the hallway. She smiled to herself thinking that Ben sure had an interesting afternoon. That is Jinny for you she always keeps life interesting. Ben walked in to the kitchen to see his mom busy cutting chicken. “Can I dunk the chicken mom in the batter this time mom?” Ben asked. “I am sure that can be arranged but while you wait how about making a salad for us?” Magda asked.

CD and Kate had ordered a coffee each from the waitress who had just left to get their order when CD said, “So what’s up what did you want my opinion on?” Kate looked at CD and said, “Have you noticed anything different about Jinny? I mean do you think she might be off the wagon again. I want you honest opinion.” CD looked at Kate for a minute and replied, “I haven’t noticed Jinny being off the wagon, why are you asking?” Kate said, “Well last night I ran into her at the Gas station with ADA Blumenthal and I saw Jinny with Pretzels and milk, which is a strange combination of its own but then I heard Blumenthal ask her is she had her vitamins and then when we ran into each other and were standing in line he said she doesn’t know does she? So I was worried that maybe she had fallen off the wagon again or something was up.” The waitress brought their coffees over and sits them in front of them. CD replied, “I don’t know what that is about Captain but I am sure it is nothing to worry about.” “Well if you think that it is nothing to worry, then I will drop it.” Kate said. “Well if you are worried you can always ask her tomorrow at work.” CD said. Kate replied. “Okay thanks CD.” CD picked up her coffee and took a sip and looked up at Kate and said, “If there isn’t anything else I really should be getting home.” Kate said, “That is all I wanted your opinion on and thanks for listening CD.” CD replied, “No problem. See you at work tomorrow.” Kate watched CD stand and get her coat on and said, “Bye CD and thanks again.”

Angela had just put away all the cleaning supplies when her stomache growled letting her know that it was time to eat. Angela went into the kitchen and looked in the refrigerator and nothing appealed to her so she went to the pantry and looked for something that jumped out at her. Angela brought a can of tuna back into the kitchen and started to fix tuna salad for her supper since it looked like she was dining alone again. This was getting to be a habit anymore. To bad the clinic was so in need of help and Daniel had to spend a lot of time covering it.

Arriving home C.D. hands her coat up and walks into the kitchen. She has been out most of the day so she figured she'd order out for dinner before it got too late to do so. Figuring if she orderer pizza right now it'd be good for a few days never the less hours. So she wouldn't have to worry about dinner later. Walking over to her refrigerator she picks up the magnet from the door and pulls the Pizza Coupon from it and places the magnet back down. Checking the prize for a Medium Pizza she figured $11.00 wasn't a too bad of a price, and headed for the telephone to call Dominos.

An hour passes quickly by....

Jinny and Theodore had set the table and had everything ready to go for the Exsteads to come over for supper. Theodore and Jinny were sitting on the couch talking about what should be the first order of agenda eating supper then telling them or telling them then eating supper when there was a knock at the door. Jinny got up to go get the door as Theodore went to check on the meatloaf. Jinny opened the door and saw Casey standing there with a cheescake in his hands. Jinny said, "You didn't have to bring anything over Casey." Casey replied, "It was no trouble Jin, I just picked it up from the store." Jinny moved aside and said, "Here come on in Cas, you are the first to arrive." Casey walked into the living room as Jinny shut the door and turned and said a little louder so Theodore could hear her "Casey is here Teddy." Theodore came the corner into the living room with a dishrag over his shoulder. Jinny said, "Casey this is Theodore and Teddy this is my little brother Casey." Both men reached out their hands to shake each others outstretched hand. Casey said, "I think congratulations are in order. I still can't believe it I am going to be an Uncle and you two are going to be parents. I couldn't imagine what that feels like. Has it sunk in yet?" Jinny smiled at her little brother's enthusiasm at his becoming an Uncle and said, "Slow down Cas, We are still getting used to the idea, but we are happy about it." Theodore replied with a smile on his face "Did Jinny tell you it is a girl?" Casey looked at Theodore and saw how he was beaming just talking about his little girl and said, "No Jinny didn't mention that the baby was a girl. I am going to have a niece. I can spoil her rotten." Jinny replied, "To a certain extent Cas, I am glad you are happy about it. Thanks for supporting us." "You know I would Jin, no questions asked." Casey replied. Theodore saw the cheescake in Casey's hand and asked, "Can I take that for you and put it in the kitchen?" Casey handed the cheesecake to Theodore who took it in the kitchen and checked on the meatloaf one more time before returning to the living room as Jinny and Casey were setting down on the couch. Casey looked up at Theodore and said, "So how did you and Jinny meet?" Theodore looked at Jinny before seating in a chair at the table and said, "We worked on a case together, see I am a Assistant DA and that is how we meet." Jinny replied, "Yeah he asked me out for drinks when the case was over and I turned him down." Casey said, "So how long before you two started dating?" Theodore replied, "I asked Jinny out um… 4 maybe 5 times before she agreed to have a drink with me." Casey looked at his sister and said, "I see you must have really liked him to turn him down so much." Jinny reached over and swatted her brother in the arm.

Casey got up from the couch and said, "Hi Dad." John Sr. turned and saw his youngest son had already arrived. Theodore said. "Can I take your coat John?" John Sr. removed his coat and handed it to Teddy. "Dad why don't you have a seat, supper should be done soon." John Sr. walked over to the chair that Theodore had just vacated and seat down before replying, "So Jinny you didn't answer my question." Jinny replied, "What was the question again?" Theodore said, "If you will excuse me I will go see if dinner is done." Jinny said, "Good idea I will help you." Jinny and Theodore walked into the kitchen and checked on dinner while John Sr. looked at Casey and said, "So do you know why we are here?" Casey replied, "I am sure they well tell us when they are ready dad." In the kitchen Theodore said, "Supper is ready do we wait for John Jr. or eat now. Your call Jin." Jinny looked at Theodore and said, "I think we should eat now and he can join us when he gets here."

CD was sitting on the couch watching the news when there was a knock on the door. CD picked up her coupon and her money for the pizza and headed for the door. When CD opened the door Frank turned around with the pizza box in his hand. CD looked at him and said. "What are you doing here Frank and with my pizza?" Frank looked at CD and said, "That is the thanks that I get for paying for the pizza?" CD said, "I never asked you to pay for the pizza or come over if I remember right." Frank stepped inside and said, "You mind." CD replied, "As a matter of fact I do. What are you doing here Frank?" Frank walked into the kitchen as he ignored CD's question and put the pizza on the counter before replying, "I just thought it was kind of nice last night watching the movie with you that maybe we could you know… do it again." CD replied, "You know I was looking forward to a quiet night alone at home Frank." Frank said, "Well see I saved you from your loneliness. You can spend it with me."
CD said, "You are impossible Frank, but since you are here I suppose you can stay and have pizza and watch a movie but don't think this is going to become an every night occurrence. Got it Frank."

Magda and Ben had set down to dinner and Ben had been quite since Jinny had brought him home. Mag looked at Ben and said, "So you had quite the day didn't you?" Ben looked at his mom and replied, "Yeah I learned a lot today mom, I also like Theodore he is nice." Mag looked at her son and smiled before replying, "Yes Ben Theodore is a nice man and Jinny really likes him a lot. They love each other Ben and this baby is a good thing for them." Ben said with his mouth full, "I can't wait to see Jinny's baby." Mag said, "Ben one don't talk with your mouth full and two it is going to be a while before Jinny's baby is born Ben." Ben said, "How long do I have to wait to see Jinny's baby?" Mag said, "Well Jinny is 4 months pregnant so another 5 months before the baby is born Ben." Ben replied, "That is like forever mom." Mag smiled at her son and reolied, "It will go by fast Ben you will see."

Yeah, that's the park where Jinny and Casey went in the episode 'Don't Ask' that's just another angle of it. We also checked out the other fountain where Jinny, Magda, Ben, and Gabriel were. You know, in the 'Obsessions' episode where Gabe came back..where Mag and Jin were in line for a latte and a hot chocolate for Ben. I know, I'm full of useless information.

"It's okay. Why don't you sit down and finish dinner with us?" Jinny asks as nice as possible as she could to her brother. They hadn't been able to get along very well since they were younger. Sometimes they got along better than others. Just this time didn't fit the mold. Jinny was moody and pregnant, and John...well he was John plus in the middle of a fight with his wife. Whom everyone figured wouldn't be his wife for much longer. Another marriage down the drain.
"No why don't we cut the crap and get down to why we're all really here."
"No I think we should finish dinner first." Jinny answers walking toward the table. She stops before the table. "By the way, John. This is Theodore." she puts her hand on Teddy's arm. "And Teddy this is my big brother, John." Teddy exstends his hand to shake John's. In return John shakes it and steps back.
"Theodore. That sounds familiar." John Jr thinks outloud, "Ooh oh, wait a minute here. Is this that yuppy ADA?"
"Don't start this, John." Jinny warns.
Theodore nods, "Yes, I am an ADA."
John just laughs and shakes his head, "ADA, huh!" Jinny stands her ground not moving. Just watching her brother's every movement. Her father and her younger brother still sat at the table.

"Oh gimme a break. You and this...this..Preppy whatever the hell he calls himself getting married?" he shakes his head, "Who ya trying to fool with dating this guy?"
"His name is Theodore, John." Jinny answers giving him a look.
"You knocked up? Is that it? You never can keep your pants on now can you?"
That crossed the line for Jinny she takes a step toward her brother, "Yeah, yeah you know what. I am pregnant. Of course that's no surprise to my know it all brother. Tell me one thing John. If you know everything why they hell cant you figure out WHY your marriages aren't working out. If you're so damned perfect."
"You are such a slut. Yeah, I'm not surprised you're knocked up. With your lifestyle it was just a matter of time. This guy just gets the blame."
Jinny gives him a look and steps toward him angry.
"Jin, Jinny." Theodore puts his hand on her arm trying to have her keep her distance from John. Afterall he didn't know what John Jr would do. He just meet him.
"As for you, Teddy, is that what they call you?" John asks sarcastically. "How do you know it's your kid anyway? I wouldn't trust a word she says."
"How dare you!!" she reply's angry. Teddy still helps Jin keep her distance, "Well, John, That's one of the many differences between you and me. I know your sister." He looks from John Jr. to John Sr. whom was just sitting at the table in silence. Still not fully recovered from the initial shock of his baby girl being pregnant. Theodore swallows and looks back to John Jr. "I love her. I trust what she says is the truth. She's carrying my daughter."
John Jr takes a breath to say something back when his father interupts by standing up and making a sweeping movement in the air with this arms, "CUT THIS CRAP OUT! John, you stop talking to your sister like that. Jinny...." he stops. He didn't know what to say. He couldn't very well tell her what she was doing was wrong. Afterall the father of the baby obviously cared. Although he'd just meet him he could realize that. Anyone could. Even if he DID say something. Jinny wouldn't listen. She never really had.

"Yeah..well...To answer your question. It's too late for regrets. I'm over four months along, and you know what ,Dad , I- I didn't even have a second thought of not keeping the baby."

"I tried my best! It wasn't particularly easy to raise a girl, Jinny."

The next morning in the station parking lot. Jinny pulled into the parking lot as Mag was getting out of her car. Jinny parked and got out. She saw Mag waiting on her and knew she wanted to know how it went last night. Jinny walked over to her partner and said, "Hey Mag." Magda gave her a partner a look and said, "Well?" Jinny replied "Well what?" Magda couldn't believe Jinny was torturing her like this. "You know what Jin, come on out with it how did it go." Jinny said, "Well I am still here that is something." Mag said, "And in piece now spill it Jin." Jinny smiled and said, "Okay mind if we walk though it is cold out here?" Mag said, "You are killing me Jin." Jinny and Magda started walking to the doors as Jinny told Mag about the events of the evening. Jinny and Magda walked into the locker room and Mag said, "That wasn't so bad no was it." Jinny looked under the stalls before replying, "No I guess not, John Jr. was a pain but all in all it wasn't that bad I guess. Just have to tell Captain yet though. Which I guess I should do today." Mag said, "It won't be that bad Jinny." Jinny replied, "Are we sure we are talking about the same Captain, the one that had it in for me?" "Come on Jin, Cap doesn't have it in for you." Mag said. Jin replied as they were walking out of the locker room "Okay if you say so."

CD and Angela were seated at their desks as the doors opened and in walked Jinny and Magda. Angela saw them and said, "So how was you weekend guys?" Magda said, "It was pretty good and yours?" Angela replied, "Daniel had to work most of it. How was your weekend Jinny?" Jinny looked at Mag and smiled before she replied, "Busy, but productive." Jinny and Magda walked over to the coffee machine to get their coffee. CD said, "So Jinny is everything okay? You left work early on Friday and everything?" Jinny looked over at CD as she poured her and Mag a cup of coffee and replied, "Everything is fine." The door to Captain's office opened and she spots Jinny and Magda by the coffee machine and said, "Jinny can I see you a minute." Jinny said, "Sure be right there." Captain turned around and walked back into her office as Jinny puts the sugar back and says, "Wonder what I did this time?" Magda smiled as Jinny walked to Captain's office. Angela looks at Magda and says, "I wonder what that is about?" Magda replied “I don't have a clue."

Jinny walked into the Captain's office with her coffee cup in her hand and says, "What did you want Captain?" Kate motions for Jinny to close the door and says, "Have a seat Jinny." Jinny closed the door and set in the chair in front of the desk as she took a sip of her coffee waiting for Captain to tell her what this is about. Kate looked at Jinny and said, "Is everything okay Jinny?" Jinny looked at captain and wondered what she was talking about as she replied, "Yeah everything is good." Kate said, "You can tell me if something is bothering you or if you need help." Jinny was wondering what the hell Captain was talking about but said, "Help? I am fine, Captain.

"So everything go okay with the doctor's appointment Friday?" Jinny looked at Captain and thought she must have meant the doctor's appointment on Friday was why all the questions and replied. "Actually, I planned on talking to you about that today." Kate said, "You know if you fell off the wagon we can get you help, Jinny." Jinny looked at the Captain and said, "I didn't fall off the wagon. Where did you get an idea like that?"
“I overheard you and ADA Blumenthal talking about vitamins and he also said she doesn't know does she." Jinny smiled and knew what the Captain was talking about and replied, "I was going to tell you today what that was all about, Captain." Kate said, "Look Jinny we have someone you could talk to and it is not a shame to have taken the plunge and had a drink. You can pick back up soon enough. It’s not an easy process." Jinny looked at Captain and said, "I have not fallen off the wagon Cap, I am pregnant." Kate looked at Jinny and said, "You're pregnant? That is what all that was about?" Jinny replied, "Yes Teddy asked me if I had my prenatal vitamins and he also said that you didn't know about the baby is what he was asking. That is the doctor I went to Friday." Kate didn’t know what to say,but settled with, "Was this planned?" Jinny replied, "Actually when I went to my physical they called and informed me I was pregnant. No it was not planned, but I am 4 months pregnant and we are keeping the baby." Kate said, "4 months Jinny, how did you not know?" "Well you know with the suspension and all I just thought my schedule was messed up from the stress. Look the doctor said I could do my job like normal for now." Jinny stated. Kate said, "Well when you are farther along you will have to do desk duty. You also need to be careful out there with you being pregnant." Jinny began to stand to leave, "I will, is that all you wanted me for?" Kate nods once and takes off her glasses, "Yes and Jinny, congratulations."

A month goes by...
Before Magda and Jinny had made an appearance in the Division for the morning. Jinny had persuaded Mag to stop at the Soda Machine with her. Before the day began.
Leaning against the wall near the soda machine Magda watches her partner struggle to find the correct change for the machine. Jinny was determined to get a Sprite from this machine.
"You need a quarter, Jin?" Magda laughs looking to her partner’s side.
Jinny shakes her head and pushes around some spare change in her palm. "No thanks, Mag. I got it. Thanks." Jinny says her back toward the wall. She puts her 3 quarters in her left hand as she drops the rest of the change back into the pocket of her leather jacket.
"You free tonight?" Jinny asks dropping the change into the machine. Once she had inserted all three quarters she glances over at Magda.
"Why? You need me for something?" she asks her partner.
"No, I was just thinking. Since you're having Ben's party this weekend. I'd go to the store tonight and pick him up something." she pushes the button on the machine for a Sprite. "I was also thinking maybe you could help me pick it out. I have no idea what he likes or dislikes right now." she laughs. "He changes so fast."
"You're tellin' me. I'm his mother and I can't keep up." she smiles, "Yeah, I can help you tonight. Gabriel isn't due at the club until late. So he can stay with Ben a little longer."
Jinny stands up from grabbing her soda from the machine after it fell and turned around. She was now five months pregnant, and beginning to be rather visible with her pregnancy. Still fitting in her ‘larger’ fitted clothes, but not for too much longer.
As the two inspectors begin to make their way to the division door Magda reaches over and pats Jinny's stomach lightly. Although there wasn't much of anything to pat she grins, "Maybe we could pick you up some maternity clothes while we're at it." Jin looks down at herself then back at Magda with a look. "Oh, nuh-uh. I'm doing just fine with these." she reply's pulling her jacket around her with a laugh.

Pushing the Division door open Jinny walks in first and Magda right after. The sound of phones ringing and people complaining, demanding, and sharing their sympathy to people was the sounds that surrounded them.
Walking over to her desk Jinny takes her jacket from her shoulders and hangs it on the back of her seat. Jinny then turns around and props herself up on the top of her desk listening in. C.D. and Angela's conversation was the first distinct talking the two inspectors heard ,and quickly joined in after.
"I'm sorry, but that policy takes up a lot of our person lives." C.D. says to her partner.
"I know, but I totally agree with the policy. Relationships should be kept away from work." Angela adds.
"Ooh this about that 'No Dating Coworkers' policy?" Jinny mimics and then shifts slightly, and pulls the bottom of her shirt up slightly and undoes the top button to her pants and exhales. Magda notices this smirks and shakes her head at her partner. 'Jin just isn't ready to give up her clothes' she thought.
"Yeah, I say we only work for the Department. They can't control our every personal situation." C.D. answers.
"You got that right besides if you're sleeping with a coworker how are they going to find out?" Jinny laughs; "Unless of course you broadcast it over the intercom. Then they might find out." she opens her can of Sprite and takes a big sip.
"Yeah right, Jinny, and how many coworkers have you dated?"
"Whom haven't I dated?" Jinny reply's sarcastically with a laugh. "If you could date your way to the top I'd be Captain by now." she jokes. Magda smirks at her partner on that one.
"No, but seriously, I haven't dated anyone from the Division." she adds.
"I still say. Work Relationships and Personal Romantic Relationships are two different situations. That should be kept apart." Angela reply's getting up and walking to the coffee machine.
"That's a bunch of bull." Jin remarks. "I say if you're mature enough to start the relationship you sure as hell best be mature enough to work with the ass after the relationship."
"Amen." C.D. says.
Magda shakes her head and puts her finger in the air, "See that's where I don't agree. Sometimes there just isn't any other choice. Therefore, I think to keep the tension out of the work place. You just don't get involved with coworkers in your department."

Captain McCafferty then walks out of her office with quite a few folders in her hands, "Okay listen up everyone." she begins picking her glasses from around her neck and putting them on as she opens up the top folder.
"Jinny, Magda... Chelsea Lucas, 21, found in an alley 45 minutes ago."
"Cause of death?" Jinny asks.
"Strangled." Kate reply's handing her the case folder and walking over toward C.D. and Angela's desk.
"CD Angela, A woman, , stabbed twice in the stomach last night by the name of Loren Castra."
"Is she okay?" Ang asks.
"She's in the ICU. Coma."
"Any witnesses?" C.D. questions
"None as far as we know as of now. That's where you and Angela come in." she hands over the case.
"We're on it, Cap." C.D. says.
"Jacob, Scott...bar fight." she hands them over the folder and walks back to her office.

"Let's hit it." Jinny says closing the case folder in front of her, getting off her desk and draping her coat over her arm case folder in one hand Sprite in the other. Magda takes her time and puts on her jacket. Together the two exit the Division.

Pulling up near the curb outside a tattoo parlor Jinny and Magda get out of the car. Jinny rounds the car and meets up with her partner. Walking toward the beginning of the alleyway Magda arrives at the police tape that had already been pulled across the opening. She lifts up the tape and goes under. Jinny follows soon after, and the two walk down the moist, tinted, alley that had a smell of old trash. They walked down a narrow path that had been cleared for the officers. The ground was wet. As the two Inspectors begin to approach an officer notices them and begins to walk toward them.
"Hey Chang." Jinny says.
"Hey Chang." Magda adds right after.
"Hey Inspectors." the officer nods at them, and turns around and begins walking back toward the victim with the two woman.
"Chelsea Lucas, strangled with a thin wire object. No witness so far. She's handcuffed to the pipe coming from the tattoo parlor." he raises his eyebrow as they arrive at the lifeless body of the young woman lying on the ground. Chelsea’s hand was floating in the air bound by the handcuffs.
Magda studies the body carefully as Jinny takes out her black note pad and pen from her pocket. She looks at the body then to the officer, "You call someone to get these things off her?"
"Yeah, the ambulance is on its way. They have the proper equipment to remove them."
Jinny nods and begins taking notes about the crime scene. Trying to avoid direct eye contact with the body. Her stomach was already feeling slightly weak this morning.
"What the hell." Magda remarks when she notices the victim’s finger was missing.
"Wh-what is it, Mag?" Jinny asks looking up to her partner.
"Her ring finger is missing. What kind of sick joke is this?"
"How kind. They didn't only kill her, but couldn't leave her body intact." Jinny reply's still standing but looks at the victim’s hand. Sure enough her ring finger was missing. She shakes her head and writes this bit of details down.
"Chang, has the Tattoo Parlor's employees been questioned?"
"We have two officers in there now. Asking if anyone has heard or seen anything out of the ordinary today or lately." he reply's.
"Thanks" Jinny looks back to the body then quickly to her notepad. Putting her hand to her mouth, like she had yawned. Trying to act casual as she does so. Usually these kinds of things didn't really affect her too much. Yeah, it had an emotion effect, but not physical. Just lately it had its fair share on her, well since she had stopped drinking.
Actually as Jin thought about it she'd been like that for a few months. 'I shoulda picked up on it then.' she scolded herself, but now it just seemed worse. Maybe because now she knew what it was being caused by? Before she figured it was the situation getting to her. Now she knew it was her daughter,or that's what she figured anyway.
Magda glances up to see her partner take her hand from her mouth and go back to writing, "Are you okay, Jin? I could finish up here."
"Yeah, I’m fine. I just suddenly felt sick, but I’m fine. I’ll finish up."
Her partner grinned, "Welcome to motherhood." she laughs.
"Yeah, thanks." Jinny responds not amused.

CD and Ang pulled into the parking lot of San Francisco General Hospital and pulled into the closest space to the entrance. They got out the car and walked inside the hospital. Angela walked to the receptionist desk and asked the nurse, "We are looking for ICU and Loren Castra’s room." The nurse replied, "That would be on the fifth floor, Room 507. Are you family because right now it is family only." CD flashed her badge and said, "Is this enough to get us admitted to see her?" "She is in a coma you will not be able to talk to her but go right ahead and see for yourself officer." CD and Angela walk to the elevators and push the up button. Angela looks at CD and said, "We should talk to her doctor to see what her chances are." CD replied, "Since you know all that doctor talk you can do it." Angela relied, "Why me, why not you. Maybe I want to check on Mrs. Castra and you can check in with the doctor." CD replies, "But you are married to a doctor and you helped him with his boards so you understand what they are saying and don't have to ask them to translate, Angela." "Why can't you ask the doctor CD?" Angela asks. "Don't whine" is CD's response.

Pulling away from the curb the two Inspectors are quiet. Jinny kept her eyes on the road ahead. Magda flipped through a few papers in their case folder.
About two blocks down the road Jinny glances at her partner, "You mind if we stop up here? So I can grab a little something?" she asks coming upon a gas station.
Her partner just grins, "Sure go ahead, Jin."
"Thanks." Jinny pulls into the Driveway of the Circle K and looks over to her partner whom had her elbow resting near the lock on the door her hand just above her forehead. "You want anything?" she asks.
"Nope. Lunch is coming up here pretty soon. I'll wait."
"Okay. I'll be back." Jinny reply's to her partner and gets out and walking into the shop.
Magda just sat in silence in the car with a slightly smile. She found it rather funny that Jinny had sudden cravings and had to stop.

A few minutes pass and the drives side door opens again, and Jinny sits back down in her seat closing the door once her feet are inside. Her partner sits up in her seat.
"So what did you get?” Magda asks looking over.
The inspector opens up the small white plastic bag and takes out a Reese’s Pieces candy, and smiled.
"You know what. It's true. You do crave things all of a sudden." she laughs opening up the candy.
"You're getting a belly on ya, Jin." Magda replies.
"I am not."
"You are. I saw you undo your pants at the Station."
"Yeah well." Jinny couldn’t really argue with that. She then puts the key into the ignition and starts the car. "You're not the first to notice,” she adds in a lower tone.
"Excuse me. Speak up there." Mag laughs.
"I said; you're not the first to notice." Jinny glances over with a grin.
"Oh really now." her partner smirks.
"Yeah." she answers pulling out of the driveway back onto the main street. "Teddy noticed as well. First actually." she reply's with a laugh.
"Go Theodore." Magda replies with a grin. "So you two are." she tilts her head slightly a moment, "You know; still goin' good."
"Yes we are, Magda." Jinny answers glancing at her partner, "We’re doing really well." she smiles.
"I'm so happy for ya, Jin. So happy."
"Me too!"

CD and Angela walked into Captain's office when they returned and CD said, "Cap, you got a minute?" Captain looked up from the papers she was going over and replied, "Yes come on in, what did you find out at the hospital?" Angela went in and sit down in the chair as CD followed suit after closing the door. Angela said "Well she is in a coma and only has a 30/70 chance of making it according to the doctors." Kate said, "So what about the husband?" CD replied, "He is the primary suspect and he was taken in already we will have to go down and see him in lockup."

I just re-read this whole story from the beginning. It has been great from the very start. I just really want to read A LOT more of it. I am almost as addicted to this fanfic as I am to the actual Division television drama. I'm going to scream if I don't get to read more soon!

Angela stated, "His fingerprints were on the knife but so is Mrs. Castra's." Kate looked at Angela and asked, "You have questions about that Angela?" Angela said, "Well I was thinking why would her prints be on the weapon along with Joshua Castra's?" CD said, "If it was a knife from their kitchen that could explain why both would have had their prints on the knife." Angela just shook her head and said, "Something is just not right." Kate said, "Well it could have also been someone else who used one of the knives from the kitchen and they had gloves on." CD replied, "It could be that also, but I think we should question the husband first." Kate said, "I believe that is a start, but also don't' rule out that it could possibly be someone else also." Angela said, "Well we have to go down and question him at the 23rd division since he was taken in there." Kate said, "Sounds like you are on top of it, keep me posted." CD and Angela got up and walked out to their desks to make the appropriate phone calls to get into see Joshua Castra.

Jinny came thru the Division doors holding a large water and the file folder for the case that they just returned from, with Magda right behind her both going thru the messages that had been left for them. Jinny walked to her desk and removed her jacket before sitting the water and folder on her desk still browsing her messages when she flipped to the last message and there was a message from Theodore, It said, 'just calling to see how you are doing.' This had been an everyday occurrence since the first appointment. Jinny smiled cause the messages were always the same when she was not there. Magda went to her desk to return any messages that were urgent as the rest could wait til after lunch. Kate saw Jinny and Magda walk into the division and went to her door and said, "Exstead, Ramirez my office." Magda got up and walked over to Jinny who laid her messages down and grabbed the file folder so they could brief the Captain on the case. They walked into the Captain's office and Magda closed the door as both inspectors took seats in front of the desk. Kate said, "What did you two find out?" Jinny said, "Chelsea Lucas 21
years old handcuffed to a pole outside the tattoo parlor with a missing ring finger on her left hand. It appears that she was strangled with a wire but we will know more once we get the coroner's report." Captain replied, "Did you say her ring finger was missing?" Magda said, "Yes Captain it was
strange her hands were handcuffed to the pole with her hands over her head and her ring finger was missing. Officers talked to the employees of the tattoo parlor to see if they had heard or seen anything." Jinny replied, "All the employees there reported that they had not heard or seen anything and she was not there last night when they closed, however when they opened this morning is when the victim was found by Mark Lopez the manager of the tattoo parlor." Kate asked, "So you are waiting for the coroner's report to establish exactly what the cause of death is?" Jinny replied, "Yeah Steven said he would page us when he had finished the autopsy." Kate said, "Did the employees know Chelsea Lucas?" Magda replied, "The manager Mr. Lopez said
that he had never seen her around there before. There are still a few employees we have to get in touch with. They either had the day off or worked a later shift. We were planning on calling the employees from the list that Mr. Lopez supplied." Jinny said, "We are also going over Chelsea's
apartment this afternoon to see if there is anything out of the ordinary there. Plus we need her address book to notify any relatives." Kate said, "Looks like you have everything under control. Inform me with any new information as it developes." Magda replied, "We will let you know as soon as the coroner's report is
available." Magda and Jinny got up and exited Captain's office and walked back to their desks. CD looked up and saw Magda and Jinny coming out of Captain's office and said, "You guys want to grab some lunch?" Jinny said, "Sure I am getting hungry." Magda smiled at Jinny's reply as she said, "Anchorside?" Angela replied, "Sure." Jinny walked over to her desk and laid the case folder on it as she grabbed her jacket and checked the pockets to make sure she had her wallet. As the other inspectors grabbed their jackets and headed for the door.

The four Inspectors arrive at Anchorside. Magda pushes open the door and comes in followed by the other three. In no time they had found a table near the door where they all sat and began looking through their menus. Jin leans on the back of her chair as she glances through the menu. Her partner takes off her coat and hangs it behind her. Soon after the waitress comes over.
"May I take your order?" she asks looking around the table. Knowing each of them fairly well. After all they came almost everyday for lunch.
"Sure. I'm ready if everyone else is." Jinny replies.
"Go ahead, Jinny." C.D. says.
"Okay.." she reply's closing her menu. "I will haaave.... A roast beef sandwhich. By any chance could I have some pickles on that aswell?" Jinny asks looking up at the bottom of the waitresses notepad.
"Sure thing." the waitress responds writing this down.
"Okay, Some extra fries on the side, and a Neapolitan milk shake...." she pauses. "Large if you will." then smiles happy with what she ordered and looks over at Magda whom was ordering next. She had a look on her face that Jinny found to be rather amusing. "What?" she laughs. "I'm hungry."
"I can tell." C.D. reply's from across the table with a smirk.
Magda laughs, "I had to have, if you can imagine this, Sardines with everything I ate."
"Ookay..Now that is gross." Jinny reply's. "What I ordered is not gross."
"Not if you enjoy everything on the menu." C.D. adds.
"Hey!" she laughs.
"Okay, I will have." Magda begins and looks at the waitress. "A roast beef sandwich also."
"Got it."
"Hold the pickles" she adds in and looks at Jinny for a reply. Instead of saying anything Jinny shoots her a look, but can't keep it for over a second without laughing.
"Sorry had to say it, Jin." Magda reply's with a laugh.

Theodore was looking on his desk for the files for the case he had this afternoon in court and was not having luck in finding them. He knew he had the case file this morning when he and Allen discussed the case. It wasn't like him to misplace case files. But he also had a lot on his mind. He didn't want Jinny to find out how worried he really was about her being on the streets still and all. He would just have to hope that nothing would go wrong. Theodore picked up his briefcase from the floor and opened it to find the missing file on the Waraez case. He also needed to get the case folder from Allen on the next case that he had pending. So he could prep for it. He picked up his phone and called Gloria, she wasn't answering and that was not like her. After the fifth ring her voice came on "Yes Mr. Blumenthal, what can I get for you?" Gloria asked? Theodore had told her many times she could call him Theodore or even Teddy but she insisted on being professional and continued to call him Mr. Blumenthal as he asked "Has Mr. O'Connor sent the Sanchez file over for me yet?" Gloria replied, "It was just dropped off about 15 minutes ago, would you like me to being it in?" Theodore replied, "Yes please." Gloria replied, "Sure thing Mr. Blumenthal. I will be right in with the file but after that if there is nothing else I was going to go to lunch." Theodore looked at his watch and saw that it was almost lunch time and said, "That is fine Gloria."

Jotting down a few notes on a pad of paper that lay in front of her Captain nodded to the person on the other line as she wrote,and held the phone to her ear with her other hand.
"Yes, uh-huh. Right , George. Okay. I got it. Thanks. Yeah.."
She was in the middle of a conversation that was beginning to annoy her. It seemed as if the guy wasn't ever going to hang up. When a knock on her office door brings her to look up.
There in her doorway was Amanda smiling across at her.
"Yeah, I'll call you back." was Kate's only words to the man on the other line before she hangs the phone up. "Hey, Sweetie." she reply's standing from her chair.
"Hi Mom!" Amanda smiles.
"I missed you so much." she walks over to her daughter and they meet in an embrace. Amanda goes to let go but her mother holds tight for another couple seconds. Finally she lets go and steps back. "Is anything wrong?"
"Gosh, mom. Can't I come and see my own mother without something being wrong?"
"Yeah, you can." Kate smiles.
"Good. But something is wrong."
Her mother's face drops.

The Inspectors all now had their plates in front of them. Each were midway through their lunch. Jinny slurped at her milkshake.
"Hey, did any of you notice Cap's not wearing her wedding ring anymore?" Angela speaks up after she had swallowed her most recent bite.
Jinny puts the glass her milkshake is in down to the table, shakes her head slightly and gives Angela a look, "She's divorced is she not?"
"What are you talkin about?" C.D. asks in a tone of voice.
Magda just sat back and listened.
"Her wedding ring. She usually wears it. Lately she hasn't." Angela reply's.
"It's probably because of Aubrey." C.D. says.
Jinny puts her hands in the air. Facing her palms out. "Back up for a minute. I must have missed something."
"Yeah, you're tellin' me." her partner reply's popping a fry in her mouth as she listens in.
"Aubrey is the FBI Agent." Angela reply's.
"Whom has taken a liking to Captain." C.D. adds in that bit of information that Angela had left out.
"Ooh, Our Captain and a FBI Agent, huh?" Magda smirks. She just loved all the inside information.
"Yeah, Aubrey seems to be coming around more often." Angela smiles.
"So you think..Cap and uh this Agent guy have somethin' going on?" Jinny asks finishing off her sandwich after.
"Sure seems like it." C.D. smirks.
Magda smiles , "Well. I'm happy for her. She deserves someone in her life."
"It's not really our business either way." Angela speaks up. Realizing making the comment about the ring and for the most part bringing up the conversation on her part wasn't the best of ideas. She was now feeling guilty.
"It's not really her business about my private life, but apparently she couldn't wait to hear about it." Jinny smirks.
"Besides, what we're doing is harmless." Magda adds in after her partner.

If you don't remember Aubrey is the FBI agent, like Angela said, but he was the one on the 'Virgin Territory' Episode... Therefore, since Jinny nor Mag was really around they didn't know of him.

Kate looked at Amanda and said, "What happened this time Amanda?" Amanda said,
Well I can see I get the benefit of the doubt Mom." Kate replied, "I just meant what happened is all?" Amanda looked at her mom for a minute before saying, "Well Bob and I had a fight." Kate looked at Amanda to see if there was more she was going to add when Amanda just stood there she said, "And?' Amanda replied, "And I came here." Kate walked aback around to her chair and sit down before beginning, "Amanda you just left cause you and Bob got into a fight. That is no way to solve any problems, You maybe should have talked it out before picking up and coming home." Amanda replied, "I am glad to see you to mom." Kate looked frustrated but continued, "Look Amanda I mean I am thrilled to see you but if every time you and your boyfriend have a fight and you come running home nothing will get solved. I just mean it is best to talk things out with him. That is if you really want to be with him." Amanda sat down in the chair in front of her mom's desk and replied, "That is just it mom I am not sure if I want to spend the rest of my life with Bob and I told him I was coming up here to sort things out. I have every intention of returning to Bob I just need some space to figure it out. Can I stay with you while I do?" Kate looked at her daughter before reaching into her purse and taking out the spare set of house keys and saying, "Of course Amanda I would love to have you stay with me while you are her figuring out your life. I didn't mean to sound like I didn't want you I do but I know you have to get on with your life and I just want you to be happy Amanda." Amanda took the keys and replied, "Thanks mom and I know. Do you mind if I just head home and rest I am tired after the trip here." Kate said, "We can talk more tonight when I get home from work."

Popping a fry into her mouth Jinny glances over to Magda plate her eyes then trailed to the others plates then back to what she had left on hers. Which was still quite a few fries.
C.D. noticed this and laughs, "Jinny..Are you hungry?"
She shakes her head in response, "I am ,but not for anything you guys got."
"What do you feel like, Jinny?" Magda reply's looking over at her partner after a sip of water.
"I don't know." she shakes her head, "That's the problem. Something sweet...like.." she gets cut off by the sound of some men coming toward the front of the bar from the back. They were rambling on about sports, and checking out the woman along the way. Not ever trying to be casual about it.
Magda shakes her head, "You'd think they could keep it down."
"Yeah really, I remember when Paul used to bring a few of his friends over. They'd sit around dining room ,talking about god knows what,and smoke cigars."
"God, how'd you put up with it?" Magda asks.
C.D. shrugs, "Now, I have no idea." then shakes her head, "At the time it didn't seem so bad. I figured it was better to have him home. You know?"
Before any of the woman could reply to C.D.'s question four guys walk over.

"Hey C.D. long time..-" he didn't finish before C.D. looked up with a solemn stare that made him stop.
"Tissy are we?" Frank asks. His three male friends whom were also inspectors, but in another division had already pulled up chairs. Sitting backward on them.
"We were just talking about you." Jinny reply's looking directly at the closest one sitting beside her. The guy by the name of Lance looks at her then looks down checking her out.
"Woa, Exstead...Long time no see." he reply's sitting up from leaning on the chair. Surprised with what he saw. His reaction brings one of the other guys to look.
"Looks as if someone has been seeing her a lot lately in fact." the second replies.
"Watch it!" Jinny warns as she sits up in her seat.
The door to Anchorside opens and in walks Theodore. He was there to pick up some lunch to take back to the Office Building. Not expecting to meet up with Jinny or any other familiar inspectors.
Sound of the door opening to Anchorside had brought the woman to look around behind them. They then turned back around and began to laugh hysterically.
"What timing!" Magda managed to say in between breaths of air as she laughed.
"That only happens in movies." C.D. adds.
"Scary." Angela reply's laughing.
The men looked at the four laughing woman, but didn't understand.
"What's so funny, Gals?" One of them asked.
Magda put up her hand to them as she laughed. They just looked amongst each other then to the alone ADA at the counter ordering his lunch.
Once Theodore was finished he stepped back from the counter and looked around for an available place to sit as he waited for his lunch to take back. When he spots Jinny and the other Inspectors. He smiles and walks over, "Hey Having a good day I suppose?" he asks the four still laughing woman. "Hey Guys." he adds looking at them then to Jinny. She was still laughing, but trying to get it under control. Teddy leans down and kisses her gently on the cheek. This makes her stop laughing and blush slightly, "Wanna sit?" she asks smiling.
He pulls his sleeve up and checks his watch a little uneasy, "Sure, I have awhile before I have to be back."

"Great." Jinny reply's looking then at the others as Teddy grabs a chair from the table behind him and placed it near Jinny. "So, what was so funny guys?" he asks sitting down and placing his briefcase beside the chair.
Magda laughed and shook her head, "It was something the guys said."
"And the timing you have is excellent." Angela adds.
Teddy gives an uneven smile still confused and shakes his head, "What?"
"So you two are hooked up?" Lance asks waving his finger from Jin to Theodore.
"Well, yeah, we're dating." Theodore nods at the man.
"You're the-" before he could finish Jinny stands up, "Yes, Lance, He's the father of this baby. Okay, OKAY? Not that it’s any of your business."
He nods and the others look on wide-eyed.
"Excuse me." Jinny replies and walks off toward the other side of the bar, and once a safe distance away sits up at the bar on a stool.
At the table Theodore doesn't give the others another word, but goes after Jinny. Picking his briefcase up as he gets up. "I'll be back." he says under his breath to them.
Once he reaches where Jinny is sitting. Her elbows on the bar the palms of her hands on her forehead as she looks down at the wooden surface. She then feels a hand touch her back and rub gently over it. Glancing over without picking her head up she sees Theodore.
"Are you okay, Jin?" he asks in a soft tone still rubbing her back his briefcase on the floor.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Jinny replies with a sigh. Her voice no longer on defense mode she lifts her head and looks at him. "Look, I’m sorry for that." she adds motioning back toward the table behind him.
"No.." he reply's putting his hand to her shoulder.
"Yes, I mean. I shouldn't have. Just-just blown up like that."
"You don't have to apologize to me, Jin." he smiles.
Jinny looks down, “It’s just everything going on right now. It’s not there business.”
"So we still on for tomorrow?" Teddy asks changing the subject.
"What?"
"You know, the appointment." he reply's.
Jinny looks at him and exhales as she laughs slightly to herself, "Oh, Yeah that. It's at 2:00 you know."
"I know. I've already asked for it off."
She nods; the waitress walking by with a slice of pie catches her eye. Theodore notices this and smiles to himself, "You want some more to eat?"
"No, Actually.... We have to get back to the station soon." she reply's looking back at the table beginning to get up.
"They'll let you know when it's time to go." Theodore says looking at her.
"Yeah, you're right." Jinny nods and rests back down on the stool.
Teddy gets himself on a stool and looks at Jinny, "So how my girls doin'?" he asks with a slight smirk. Jin blushed faintly and looked at him, "Fine" she reply's with a smile, and glances down. "She's doing good too." Jinny laughs a little.
He nods, "I'm glad. See that’s what I like to see from you. A smile."
"Here ya go, Theodore." the man behind the counter says handing him the bag of food he had just ordered.

Awwww, don't ya all jes luuzzz Teddy? hehe :loveya:

Back at the table Bruce one of the male Inspectors talked of a case he and his partner was assigned to and wanted the others opinions. He only had a year on the job as an Inspector and wanted some more professional, if you will, information.
"Don't count anyone out as the suspect." Magda says to him.
"Because just the time you do. You'll be wrong and the murderer goes free." C.D .adds in.
"Yeah thanks, Captain's already told me that." Bruce replied not thinking the woman were much of a help.
"Yeah she has a way of reminding everyone." Angela answers.
The sound of Jinny's cell phone ringing has Magda turn around. They had been waiting for a page from Steven , the cornor, but he may have decided to call instead.

Standing up now behind Theodore's stool Jinny had the phone to her ear. "Right, 5230 Mable. Ok, I got it."she begins to take her phone from her ear when she hears Kate say something else. "Yeah?" she asks pressing it back. Whatever Kate said made Jinny's face look suspicious then she slightly smiled, "Yeah..I'm fine. Okay. okay, Bye" Jinny shuts off her cell and looks up at Theodore with a look.
"What?" he asked. Now turned around facing Jinny still sitting on the stool.
"She asked how I was feeling" Jinny replied still alittle suspicious never the less surprised.
"Yeah? She's worried about you, Jin." he looks to her.
"She's not supposed to be. She's not my mother."
"I know that. Can't you just accept it as she cares?"
"Okay." Jinny reply's. Not feeling like arguing right at this moment. Which was rather weird for her. She yawns. "I've gotta get going. Another body was found. Same description as the last from the one this morning." Jinny replies running her hand over her forehead looking back at Teddy. "The last one wasn't bad enough I have to go stand over another." she adds.
"Yeah, you didn't take the first one well?"
"No, I was fine." she reply's not wanting him to worry. That was the last thing she needed. Him to worry even more.
"Oh, okay then. I have to get back to the office anyhow." Theodore smiles at her leans over and kisses her gently on the lips. "Take it easy." he replies making direct eye contact as he stands.
Jinny looked up her eyes looked tired but she gives him a small smile, "I will."
He smiles and leans slightly hugging her, and then letting go after a moment. Teddy then pats her belly, "You be nice to your mommy. She's getting tired."
"Get out of here." Jinny laughs.
"Okay, I'm going. I'm going." he reply's grabbing his breifcase and taking the brown bag from the counter of the bar then stands near Jinny.
"What are you doing?" she asks with a grin.
"Waiting for you and Magda. You said you two were leaving."
"We are." she shakes her head and walks over to the table and Theodore waits near the door.

Alright this just came to me, but do you guys think that maybe since Jinny isn't used to having a guy around all of the time, she might get tired of Teddy?? Just wondering, cuz i hope not!!

After a couple moments Magda and Jinny were on their way back toward the door.
"Hey Teddy." Magda says as she walks out the door that Teddy had opened. Jinny shakes her head at Theodore and walks out with a smile.
"By the way Teddy.." Jinny stops outside and turns to look at him. "If you try and call tonight right after work I won't be there."
"Oh?" he asks.
"Ben's birthday is on Saturday. I'm having Mag go with me tonight to help pick out something."
"Oh great."
"I'm trying to talk her into getting some clothes that fit too." Magda adds in. Jinny shoots her a look.
"Yeah, Jin. She's right. Maybe you should. You know." he shrugs, "Check out some of the maternity clothes."
"Why these fit fine for now." Jinny replies looking down. So!? She was getting a belly on her. Nothing her pants couldn't stretch to for now anyway.
"You had them unbuttoned yesterday." Theodore replies.
"What? How did you know." she asks.
"I know these things." he laughs.
"Kinda like today, huh, Jin?" Magda adds in from behind Jinny with a grin.
Teddy laughs and leaves it at that, "Anyway, I hope you two. Have a nice day." he kisses Jinny one last time on the lips. "I love you." he adds...pats her belly and smirks at her and says “I love you too.” then waves at Magda, "Bye." he says walking across the parking lot. Leaving Jinny and Magda standing near their car.
Magda looks over to her partner, "Jinny, he said he loved you."
"Yeah, I know." she reply's.
"Well...you didn't say anything."
"I know."
"Oh, I see that it isn’t my business I won’t ask."
"Yeah you will." Jinny looks at her.
"Okay fine, maybe I will. When did that happen?"
"Awhile ago."
"Really? You holdin' out on me, Jin?" she laughs trying to ease the moment.
"It's nothing, Mag." Jinny answers trying to take the attention off herself.
"Nothing? He tells you he loves you ,and it's nothing?"
Jinny gives Magda a look from over the hood of the car as she walks to the drives side.
"Okay, I'll drop it for now." Magda replies putting her hands in the air in front of her as her partner unlocks the doors.

Back inside the bar CD and Angela were still at the table and the male inspectors were still hanging around talking about the cases that they all were working on. Frank stood up and put his chair back and decided to sit next to CD as Lance had when Magda and Jinny had left. Bruce was still sitting in his chair on the outside of the table. CD said, "We should be getting back we have to go down to the 23rd division to interrogate Mr. Castra." Angela looked at her watch and said, "Yeah we have about 45 minutes until we need to be there. That will give us just enough time to get back and get the folder before we have to leave." Frank said, "It's been fun ladies, maybe we should do this more often?" CD said, "Don't hold your breath Frank." Angela smiled at the comment her partner had just said. She thought to herself those two fight like there is no tomorrow I am surprised that this is the only little remark they got in today. Lance stood up from the table to make room for Angela to get out as Frank did the same for CD. Bruce said, "Thanks for all the tips Inspectors." Angela replied, "No problem anything to help a fellow Inspector." " CD and Angela start out of the bar as the guys decide to take up the table that CD and Angela had just vacated. CD and Angela got to the door and Angela said, "CD we didn't pay for our lunches. We need to go put some money on the table." CD looks over to the guys and said, "Let Frank pick it up."

Standing over the second victim of today. Obviously killed the same way as the last by the same person. Her finger was missing. She was handcuffed, and again nothing around to determine whether or not she was killed in the alley or not. No one heard or seen anything leading up to the woman’s body being found a little over a half hour ago. Jinny again wrote down what they saw as another office took pictures at different angles of the woman on the ground.
"Cut the cuffs." Jinny reply's walking off down the alley to see if she could gather anything else the officer on the scene before them may have missed while Magda stood beside the alley wall on her cell phone calling Steven once again. He had not yet returned their phone call about their victim from this morning.
Jinny walks back over to the woman lying on the ground. "ID?" she asks the officers.
"You got here soon after us. We haven't-" she cuts the officer off. "Grab me a pair of gloves. Would ya?"
"Sure, Inspector."
“Thanks.” Jinny replied when the officer handed her a pair of white latex gloves. Dropping the notepad in her coat pocket she pulls on the gloves, and leans down to the body on the ground. Swallows and looks at the lady for a moment, takes a breath, and feels the lady’s pocket. Feeling something she pushes her hand into the pocket and pulls out her wallet standing back up once she had it. Jinny flipped the wallet open and began looking for some sort of ID. She then comes across her driver’s license. “Carla Solches” she says out loud to herself, and looks behind her at Magda whom was now speaking to someone on the telephone, but apparently something wasn’t going smooth for she had a disgusted look on her face. Jinny gave a look and walked over.
“What’s up, Mag?” she asks now standing near her partner, but going through Carla’s wallet.
“Steven said there was a note on the body from the woman this morning.”

Closing their car doors Angela and C.D. begin toward the Station when Amanda pushes open the glass door walking out.
“Hey Amanda.” C.D. says coming up toward her.
“Hi Guys.”
“I thought you went to…. LA?” C.D. asks when she and her partner stop in front of the door near Amanda.
“Yeah, I’ve been living there for the last few months. It’s a long story. I’m going to stay with mom for awhile.”
“I hear ya.” C.D. replies.
“It was nice talking to you.” Amanda says as she pulls out her keys and begins to move backward.
“Same to you.”
“Take care.” Angela adds.
“You too.” Amanda waves, turns and makes her way across the parking lot as the two inspectors go inside.

You have had some responses since the last post (I know most of them have been from me, but you know I am addicted.;) ) When will you post more and put me out of my misery? Here's more..I would post a big section,but I have to consult my friend about something for the next part since awhile back I had lost it, and left a little blank spot in the story for this and kept forgetting to ask her again..anyway here's more

Jinny and Magda had just buckled up in the car when Jinny said, "Did Steven say what the note said? I wonder if it is the same note that you have bagged from Carla's body or totally different." Magda replied, "No he just said that there was a note on the body from this morning and he would be down at the station in an hour with the note. We can compare the notes then and the handwriting to see if they match. Good thing Steven said something or we would have never known to check for a note." Jinny replied, "Captain is not going to like this one. It sounds like we have a serial killer on our hands that is killing woman randomly and leaving his mark on the victims." Magda replied, "We will soon know what we have on our hands when we talk to Steven." Jinny said, "Yeah I guess." Magda looked at Jinny and said, "Is there something wrong Jin?" Jinny replied, "Nothing Mag, just that you never get used to these crime scenes. It is hard sometimes to see what kind of sickness is out there you know what I mean?" Magda looked at Jinny and shook her head as she said, "I know Jin, it is a shame that people actually get a kick out of this." Jinny turned on the ignition and put the car in gear as she headed to the station to wait for Steven and the note from the first body.

Captain stood talking to Inspector DiLucca and his partner when Angela and C.D. comes through the doors of the Division. Finishing up with DiLucca she asks, "You got that?"
"Yes Captain."
She nods and walks over to C.D. and Angela. "Change of plans guys."
"What?" C.D. asks taking off her coat and hanging it on the back of her chair.
"Mr. Castra..He's here, now."
"What? We were supposed to go -"
"I know. But they decided to bring him to us. He has some news."
"Oh, really." Angela reply's.
Captain motions to the two women to follow her to the interogation room. She opens the door and the three walk in closing the door behind them.
"Hello.. Mr Castra. I am Inspector De Lorenzo this is Inspector Reide. You've already be introduced to our Captain I prosume." she begins.
He nods, "Yeah, I have. Thanks you." he pauses. "How's my wife?"
"She's still in the ICU." Angela reply's.
"So Mr Castra."
"Doug." he says
"Okay, Doug. What's this important information you have for us?" Kate asks looking at him.
"I didn't do it."

Jinny and Magda got out of the car and headed for the division as Magda said, "So Jin, how long is awhile?" Jinny turned and looked at Mag and said, "You are not going to drop this til you find out are you?" Magda replied, "Don't forget we are going shopping after work also so I have all night." Jinny smiled at her partner and said, "So you are saying that it is better if I tell you now and get it over with huh?" Magda replied, "Yea that is about the size of it. So why not just get it over with?" Jinny said, "Cause once I tell you there will be more questions. I know you." Steven walked up to the inspector's and said, "Right on time." So lets say we get the Captain and figure out what kind of psycho we are dealing with?" Jinny gave Magda a look that said saved for a little while and said, "Great let's do it." Steven, Jinny and Magda entered the division and found Kate in her office. Steven knocked on the door and said, "Do you have a minute?" Kate looked up from her papers and saw Steven, Jinny and Magda standing at her door and replied, "Come on in." The three entered the Captains office and took seats as Kate said, "So what is up?" Steven said, "We found a note on the Chelsea Lucas body when I was performing the autopsy. The cause of death was strangulation but there was also evidence that whoever the killer is had raped her. The inspector's tell me there is another body for me to perform an autopsy on and I thought you should have the note that I found." Kate said to Jinny and Magda "Did you find a note on the second victim?" Magda replied, "Yes and it said "Think to the first, and you will find. What I have tied." Kate looked at Steven and said, "What did the first note say?" Steven handed the baggie he had placed the note in to the Captain. Kate looked at the note and read what it said for the other's to hear. " When the ocean's waves roll, and the clock strikes ten. The body after next you'll find in an abandoned Den. At the corner of Fifth, missing a finger or two, all tied up, Just for you" Jinny said, "Sounds like we may have a serial killer on our hands that is out for the thrill of getting caught." Kate said, "We should have handwriting analysis done on these notes." Magda replied. "We can take it to the lab along with the one that we brought back from the second victims body, Carla Solches. No one saw anything either when we questioned the people around the bay." Jinny said, "It was pretty much the same as the first victims MO she was handcuffed to a pole and her ring finger was missing, when Steven told Magda about the note we found one note on Carla's body also. Carla had a wire line like Chelsea did around her throat and we will have to wait to see what Steven finds out." Steven said, "I will page you once I have finished the autopsy on Carla." Kate said, "Well it looks like you have everything under control, just keep me posted with what you find." Magda said, "Sure thing Captain as the three left Captain's office.
