The sun was low in the sky as Jinny came to a stop at a stop sign, Magda beside her in the passengers seat.
“Can you believe that guy? Making us wait until he got his load off.”
“Jinny… we don’t exactly know that.”
“Come on, Mag, wake up and smell the coffee.”
“You’re assuming that’s what he was doing.” Her partner adds.
“Oh…”Jinny nods as she drives down the road. She glances at her partner, “What do you purpose he was doing then?”
“Maybe he was… sleeping.” It was the best she could come up with.
“Please… that’s some kind of sleepin’ he does then.”
Magda shakes her head, looking out the window with a grin knowing her partner was probably right.
Pulling into the Blumenthal’s slanted driveway Jinny puts on her parking break, “I’ll be right back.”
“Yeah, no problem.” The woman replies with a nod as she leans back in her seat.
In no time Jinny came from the large house carrying her daughter’s car seat, her diaper bag over her shoulder. Mrs. Blumenthal watched Jinny step from the porch before waving a last time and retiring back into the house.
As Jinny approaches the car Magda gets out and opens the back door for her partner to get the baby car seat inside, “Here ya go.”
“Thanks Mag.” Jinny says leaning inside and placing the car seat on the cradle for the baby car seat that was fastened to the seat in the back, “There ya go, sweet girl.” She smiles to her daughter that was wide awake the baby kicks her legs slightly and coos as Jinny drops the diaper bag onto the floorboard below the seat and closes the door.
“She’s happy today.” Magda comments as she makes her way back to the passenger’s side.

2000 posts already cool But I got the special one cause I got the one that was the year that the Division first premiered and that is also the year I meet Miranda. So pretty cool huh. So yeah. I did good. Hmmm my slow internet was a blessing this time.

“Yeah, Heidi said she just woke up.”
Once both women were in the car and buckled up Jinny starts the engine and backs down the driveway before taking off down the street. Next stop- Magda’s Mother’s to pick up Ben.
By the first traffic light Alexis was already crying in the back seat, “Try the pacifier,” Jinny says to Magda who was leaning back trying to comfort the infant.
“I thought you said she doesn’t take the pacifier.”
“She doesn’t, but it’s worth a shot.” She says adjusting her review mirror so she could so the back of Alexis’s car seat. Magda was now sitting back upright in the seat rummaging through the diaper bag.
“Maybe Heidi left a bottle in here.” Magda asks herself.
“No, Alexis hardly has enough to make it through the day as is. We’re going to have to change her to formula pretty soon.” Her partner answers as she begins to drive again once the third light turns green.
“Aah, ha.” Magda says as she pulls the pacifier from the bag proudly.
“Keep your fingers crossed.” Jinny says as Magda leans back and inserts the pacifier into the baby’s mouth that almost instinctively spits it back out.
“No luck.”
“Well, we’re almost to my mom’s… She’ll be fine until we get there.”
Within a couple minutes Jinny was pulling into Magda’s mother’s driveway, “You go get Ben, and I’ll feed Miss Bawl Bag in the back.” She says getting out of the car.
Magda nods closing the door, “Sure, Jin, come in once you’re finished. I’m sure my mom would like to see Alexis.”
“That’s right she hasn’t saw her yet.”
“Yeah, and you know how my mother loves babies.” Magda laughs as she begins up to the front door.
After her daughter was satisfied Jinny exits the car and heads up to the front porch of Magda's mother's home. Stepping forward she knocks on the door, and within seconds Magda opened it.

Okay, you get the standard reply:............MORE.

But I will take time to be nice.....this is great, exceptional, excellent, wonderfully written!!!!!!!!! Bravp. Encore!!!!

Oh, yes, encore, there is a word we should explore........

Generally when things are this wonder, we get an encore performance...........it means more!!!:D

"That was quick..." she says seeing her partner and moving back letting her inside.
"That's what you think." Jinny answers and enters, Magda closing the door behind her.
Coming from the kitchen Francis smiles to the new mother, "Well let me see her." she says reaching out.
Jinny obeys the woman and hands her daughter over to her gently, "How have you been?"
"Pretty good. How do you like being a mother? I heard you're engaged. When is the wedding, dear?"
"Good news travels fast." Jinny says glancing at her partner that goes to the couch and sits down across from where her mother sat with the baby in her arms.
"It is good news, Jinny, you're settling down." Magda grins.
"Did I say it wasn't?" she asks sitting down beside her partner, "Actually, Francis, we haven't set a date yet."
"Well you've certainly got quite a little family so far." the Puerto Rican lady replies.
Jinny nods in agreement, "Yeah I do." After a few moments of silence between the three women Jinny glance to her partner, "So, where's Ben?"

It was beginning to get late in the afternoon, and the division was settling down. Frank had left about thirty minutes ago announcing his shift was over, and he doesn't do over time. C.D. and Nate were sitting across from each other on the phone to friends and family of Jessica trying to find people that would cooberate the 'Schizophrenia' scenario.
"I understand that, Ma'am. We're just looking into Jessica's life to find a lead. In cases such as this the suspect sometimes is a friend, someone that knows the victim." C.D. informs the ranting woman on the other line. Nate hangs up the phone on his desk getting nowhere.

Does anyone know how bad it hurts when you get your tonsils out? Well....it hurts, and then i kept putting off getting online so that Miranda would post more (actually, i was puking ;) ) and she gets 2000 posts, but ONLY 3 pages? I'm in kind of a bad mood. I havent been able to eat anything since Sunday night, so you can imagine how fun this is!

"Right, we're not doubting what Jessica said." C.D. assures, "Uh-huh. She did? Right." the blonde listens finally getting some where with this phone call. Jotting down notes on her pad of paper in front of her on the desk Nate couldn't help, but notice and studies her waiting for her to hang up so he could quiz her on the information.
"Thank You, yes the information was extremely helpful. Yes, have a nice evening yourself." C.D. smiles and hangs up marking a few more quick notes before hanging the phone on the cradle, her smile drops, "God, why do people have to be so difficult."
"Well looks as if you got somewhere." he motions down to the tablet on her desk.
"Yeah, she cooberated the schizophrenia. Along with saying Jessica is an honor student, and a great person..." she rolls her eyes, "You know the usual."
"What you think Jessica is lying?"
C.D. looks to her partner sternly, "I didn't say that. She's been through a lot. She could wake up tomorrow and tell us every detail. She needs time, Nate."
"You know, it seems like you feel real strongly about this case. Why is that?"
"Nate, how would you appreciate being over powered by someone? This is an extremely sensitive subject, end of story."
"Okay Okay." he says putting his palms up toward her, "Sorry I asked....." he replies glancing down to the paper containing the phone numbers in front of him, "There's something fishy, I still say." he adds slightly lower.
Instead of saying a word his partner glances to him not amused.

Benjamin now sat seat belted in the back seat of Jinny's car, Alexis beside him in her carseat wide eyed as Jinny and Magda chatted in the front as they drove along.
"She's looking at me, Mom!" Ben says with a smile as Alexis turned her head looking in his direction.
"Pretty cool, huh." his mother answers looking back at her son.
"Yeah." he says fiddling with the baby's feet.
Jinny looks in the rear view mirror at Ben in the back, "Hey, Ben, you know, once your Mom and Dad are married you could ask for a little brother or sister. Wouldn't that be cool?" she asks enthusiastically glancing at Ben for his reaction in the rearview mirror. Within a second her partner shot her a look.
"What?" Jinny asks, ".….He could." she shrugs with a grin.

Oh my gosh, and I didn't even have to harass you, what's gotten into you? Whatever it is, I think I like it. Now lets shoot for more, since everyone else is going on vacation, and I'm going back to work today.:(

Yes, I agree with Michelle-let's shoot for more. I'm not going on vacation this week, or the next for that matter, and I'm going to need this fic to get me through the bordem. Please post more ASAP;)

thanks Miranda...add more please, because not that school is let out, I have found my comfortble place in front of the comp. screen...its only a matter of days before "Get a job" begins... but in truth im only sitting on my but for 3 weeks..so job wouldnt work...so lets make a deal and pack on the fic for three weeks and then from July 12 to August 10....take a short vacation with me...im going to cry...no comp for 4 weeks!! but thats not till July 12, so add more please

Ben sat quietly in the back seat shaking Alexis's little teddy bear in front of her.
"Just because Teddy and you seem to procreate like rabbits, doesn't mean everyone else does."
Opening her mouth slightly Jinny then laughs, "We don't either....." she grins, "Besides- rabbits have litters. I had one, count 'em one baby."

"Honey, I'm home." Teddy says in his best family man voice.
Coming from the hall Jinny plays along, "Oh, Darling, how was your day?" she asks leaning up for a kiss.
"Outstanding."
"Really?" Jinny asks stepping back letting him take his coat off.
He thinks a moment, "No, not really. It just went along." He smiles hanging his jacket up on the hook.
"That sucks." she answers and turns around heading toward the bedroom.
Theodore follows her down the hall into the bedroom, "How's Lexi been?"
"Pretty good, She got to meet Mag's mom today." Jinny smiles.
"And? How'd that go."
She shrugs, "Pretty good I thought."
"Good to hear." Teddy said glancing down to Alexis that was awake in her crib, but still quiet.
As Jinny goes to pass Theodore out of the room she glances at him, "Pick her up... It's only obvious you want to." she says then leaving the room. Within seconds of her saying that Alexis was in his arms cooing at him as he passed down the hall.
"So when you leaving?"
"Anytime, Magda's supposed to pick me up. Since she'll have her car and Gabe is watching Ben tonight."

Guess that means Mag is driving...?

Teddy nods looking up from the baby in his arms, "So, uh, you're going to the Bridal Shop, right?"
"Yes, Theodore." she says picking up her phone as it begins to ring.
"Maybe you should, you know, look around for a dress as well."
Jinny nods to him as she answers the phone, "Hello?... Okay, I'll be outside waiting in a minute. Right, bye." she hangs up the phone.
"What did you think I was going to do? Sit around like a bump on a log? I admit, Bridal Shops aren't exactly my cup of tea, but I will look around some." she assures as she pulls on her leather jacket. Jinny then steps forward to say her goodbyes when there's a knock on the door, "That must be your dinner." she comments turning to the door and opening it. Standing on the opposite side was a guy about in his twenties with a red Domino's Pizza hat on, and a shirt to match.
He looks at the receipt he asks, "Jinny Exstead?"
"That would be me." she answers.
Before he says the $8.99 amount for the pizza she shoves a ten-dollar bill at him, "Keep the change." she says taking the pizza box from his hand.
He doesn't say anything, but nods. Until he turns around and Jinny goes to close the door, "Don't over due yourself."
Cracking the door back open enough Jinny replies loud enough for the young guy to hear, "You get paid, Stop Complaining!" then closes the door.
“Okay, so here’s your dinner.” She says walking past him to put the box on the table.
“What about you?”
“Well you’re not going to eat a whole pizza alone are you?”
He smiles and exhales, “You know what I mean.”
“I know.” Jinny answers in a soft voice, “And I will eat once I get back.” She assures.

Pushing the door open into the Bar/ Karaoke Club that she had began to frequent whenever she had the chance, Kate walked over to the bar and sat on the stool. When the man behind the counter noticed her he came over, “Hey Kate, what’ll it be?”

With that the man walked back to the other side of the bar and began to fill a mug full of beer. Once he sat the mug in front of Kate he asks, “So how have you been? Haven’t seen you around for awhile.”
“Works been busy.” She answers taking a gulp of her beer.
The man nods, “Good luck!” he answers and walks off to tend to the others in the bar.

“I can’t believe you talked me into this.” Jinny says pushing white wedding dresses on the rack one after another.
“Jinny…” Magda says taking a white dress off the rack, “Get used to it you’re going to need a dress sooner or later also.”
“I’m thinking Casual clothes myself.”
“You’re no fun, Jin.”
“I’m plenty fun. I just don’t see why I need a long white dress to prove it’s my wedding.” She wrinkling her nose at the dress Magda held up to herself. It was white with a v-neck, puffy white sleeves and beads sewn to the front of it.
“What? What’s wrong with it?” Magda asks turning to the mirror to see for herself. She shrugs, “I kinda like it.”
“You would, Mag,” Her partner chuckles.
Magda shrugs and puts the dress back on the rack, but mentally keeping track of where it was. After several minutes of both women looking through dress Magda calls Jinny over to see a specific dress. When her partner approaches she grins and pulls the dress out further for Jinny to see.
“Oh yes, definitely you, Mag,” Jinny says looking to the short skin tight, white dress with a laugh.
“Reminded me of something you’d like, actually.” Magda laughed.
“Definitely, wonder if they have it in leopard print also.” She answers sarcastically.

I can answer why Miranda is simply "the best" is because she is going add on her fic before I have to go out tonight!!! Hahah good luck on getting the job and add in the near future please!!!

Is this the longest fan fic so far on any of the boards?? jw seems like it! lol

Looking down at the Wedding dress that had been forced into her arms Jinny smiles slightly, “Fine, but only if you find one to try also.”
“I’m working on it.”
Pulling the price tag from the dress she glances down at it, “Whoa, it has a pretty nice price too.”
“What?” Magda asks turning around from the dresses in front of her.
“$500.50.”
“You only get married once, Jin.”
“Not in my family.” Jinny laughs.
Her partner laughs, “Be serious.”
“Okay, I’ll wait for you over there.” She replies motioning to the white sofa that was sat up in front of the dressing rooms. Carrying the dress over Jinny drapes it over the armrest of the sofa before sitting down. Several minutes of just sitting, quietly Jinny notices a bridal book in front of her on the fancy coffee table, and begins to flip through it. Might I had- not finding anything she even remotely liked. Once getting bored of the book she sighs and leans back on the sofa as Magda made her way over a dress in hand.

“As much as I ever will be.” Jinny says standing up and grabbing up the dress that was sat out beside her. With that the two women went into dressing rooms beside each other and began to put on the dresses.
Magda finishes first, exits the dressing room, and walks over to the mirror. “What’s taking so long, Jin?” she calls to her friend as she admired herself in the mirror.
“Give me a second, will ya?” Jinny says from inside the dressing room located directly beside the one Magda had just come from.
Within a moment the door to the room opens and Jinny steps out the dress zipper on the back was zipped up as far as she could get it. Which was about an inch or two before the top.
“Wow, Jin.” Her partner says looking over to you, “You like it?”
Jinny gives a bit of a look and shrugs, “I guess.”
“Aww, come on. You look great.”
She smiles slightly, “Thanks, so do you.”
“Come see…” Magda says motioning Jinny over to the mirror. She comes over as Magda steps out from in front of it to let Jinny in her place, “What do you think?”
Really the brunette liked the dress, “It’s nice.”
“Nice? Come on, you look beautiful.”
Jinny shrugs, “What do you think of yours?” she asks with a smile, trying to get the spotlight off of herself.
“I actually think I liked another one I saw better.” Magda says fluffing out the dress around her, “I think I’ll try on another. You don’t mind right?”
“That’s what we’re here for, isn’t it?”
“If you don’t like that dress too well, try another.” Her partner says as she walks to the rack.

Oh, WOW, I love it. This is funny, poor Jinny. I'm having trouble picturing Jinny in a wedding gown after seeing her in that ucky purple thing at Mag's wedding. LOL

Post more, and I might get more accustomed to it. lol

Alexis sat propped up slightly by a pillow on the bed, towels on each side of her so she wouldn’t fall sideways. She sat quietly moving her hands in front of herself, inspecting the movement.
Beside her Theodore sat leaning against some pillows propped up near the headboard reading over a paper for a case. He glances up to check on his daughter whom was very quiet. She now was staring directly at him, “What are you doing?” he asks in a playful voice reaching out touching her little foot. The baby coos and pushes her legs straight forward pushing her fathers hand.
“Wow, you’re strong.” He chuckles softly and looks back to his paper that he had to revise before tomorrow.
Putting her hand in her mouth she looks at him, then moments later she lowers her eyes brows and lets out a squeal as if it took so much to make the noise.
He couldn’t help but be surprised, “Alexis, getting a little loud there sweetie.” He says putting his papers beside him on the bed stand and leaning forward picking up his daughter and setting her in his lap, “That was a big noise.” He says to her, “Too bad mommy missed it, but I’ll tell her when she gets home. I’m sure she’ll think that’s so funny.”
Teddy smiles down to his cooing daughter, “You making big noises to get my attention.”


Back in the Bridal Boutique Magda had just found the next dress to try on.
“I like it. I’ll look around a little while you’re changing though.” Jinny says to her partner.
“Good, I like it though.” Magda smiles, the second dress she was going to try on in her hand as she made it to the dressing room, “I’ll be right back.” She adds before closing the door behind her.
Once Magda was back in the dressing room changing Jinny glances back to herself in the mirror.

This one was sure nice… for a dress that is, but realistically she didn’t want to have to spend that much on a dress for one day. They couldn’t afford it with them just getting back to work as much as Theodore would like to think they could. Once done in front of the mirror Jinny went over to the side of the store where she and Magda had been to begin with and was starting to push through dresses on the rack when a chime came from the door of the shop.
Heidi walks in and thinks that there is something familiar about the brunette standing there looking at wedding dresses as she walks over to the counter to inform the sales lady that she was here to try on the dress her son and his fiance picked out as she got to the counter she turns and sees that the brunette was none other than Jinny, changing directions she heads over to the woman after deciding to say hi.
“Jinny…” the woman says as she approaches.
Jinny gives a look and turns around to see Heidi beside her, “Oh, hey Heidi…” she smiled slightly glancing down realizing what she had on.
“You look absolutely beautiful.”
“Uh, thanks.” She answer, “What are you doing here?”

“Stunning…” Heidi answers with a grin then points and draws a circle in the air motioning for Jinny to do a rotation around so she could see all of the dress. Again she does as the lady asks deciding this wasn’t exactly the best place to be disobedient.
“You’re going to be a beautiful bride…” the lady says as she directs Jinny to turn around, “You don’t have the dress done up all the way.”
“Yeah, I know… Couldn’t reach it.”
Heidi nods with a slightly smile zipping the dress up the remaining couple inches, “So since you’re here I presume you and Teddy set a date?”
“Actually…I’m here with a friend of mine, Magda.” She nods, “She’s getting married next month. She talked me into all this.” Jinny replies motioning down to herself.
“It’s about time to start thinking about it dear.” Heidi smiles.
The woman that was behind the counter when Heidi had just come in, now arrived back into the room from the back with the dress that had been reserved for Heidi, “Here it is, Ma’am. Our dressing rooms are to the left.” The woman motions as she hands the Peach dress over to Heidi.
“Thanks.” She nods.
With that the woman nods once and returns behind the dress to continue browsing through a catalog quietly.
Jinny makes a slight disgusted face as Heidi holds the dress out, “Nice dress.”
“Yeah…” the older woman answers looking at the dress not impressed in the slightest bit.
“Just for the record…” Jinny begins, “You can wear whatever you’d like to our wedding.”
Before Heidi could even answer the bell on the door rang as the two looked over to see Jenny, Teddy’s ex-girlfriend come strolling on into the store.

Kate had now moved from the bar to a table toward the back of the Bar & Grill. As she moves her white wine to her lips a man comes over and stands beside the table.
Glancing up, and after swallowing the wine she asks, “Can I help you?”
“My name is Kevin…” the mans says down to her with a friendly smile, “May I sit down?”
Her eyes widen slightly, but against her best judgment she motions to the seat across from her at the table.
Once settled down in the seat the man asks, “And you would be?”
“Kate.” She says with an uneven smile.
The man, at the most, was thirty-three. Not too bad looking, he had dark brown hair that was combed over neatly, clean shaven, and was rather dressed up.
“How come a pretty lady, such as yourself, is sitting alone in a place like this?” he smiles
She glances from her drink to him, “I come here after work to relax a little before I head home.”
“I see.” The man says rather interested. He leans forward as he talks, “You come here often?”
“From time to time. Lately more than ever…”
He nods, “Have you ever met anyone in here that you were… I don’t know. Attracted to?”
Lowering her eyebrows Kate gives him a look, “Not so far.”
Kevin looks a little discouraged, but continued on his pursuit, “So what do you do for a living?”
“I’m a Police Captain at the Central Division.” She replies.
He laughs, “That’s original. I’ve not heard that one before.”
“No?” she asks a little surprised with a laugh.
“Nope.” He shakes his head, “That was a good one though.”
“Really?”
“Definitely.”
“Well…” she says reaching down into her pocket she grabs her black wallet and flips it open to reveal her badge in front of the man, “It’s the truth.”

Great. Lovin' every minute of it. lol

Thanks for the replies guys. Been busy the last couple days, and Jeanie is on her way here so had to get everything ready for she and her kids. Anyway, here's more.... And ks, nice choice! I like that picture!

Teddy was reclined back on the bed, Alexis now lay belly down on his chest as she slept. He had just finished feeding her and she had fallen asleep soon after with her belly full. He enjoyed the time he had with her, and missed her while he was at work during the day. She was growing so quickly, and soon she’d be mobile- walking and talking. Thoughts of what the upcoming months had in store for not only Alexis but also he and Jinny- circulated his mind, as he lay relaxed feeling his daughter’s each breath upon him.

Walking over to Heidi, Jenny begins, “Hi, Heidi…I saw you in here and wanted to talk to you about Te-“ she stops dead in her sentence realizing whom the woman in the bride’s dress was, “Jinny.” She laughs gently.
“Jenny.” Jinny nods not too amused.
“You needed to talk to me about what?” Heidi asks standing behind Jinny both women now were facing the blonde. She straightened out the dress that Jinny wore.
The lady giggles slightly and tucks her hair back behind her ear, “What to get Teddy and Jinny for their Wedding Present, of course.” She says with a false grin across her face. ‘Nice Save, Jenny’ she thought to herself.
“Really, you don’t need to get us anything.” Jinny steps in shaking her head.
Heidi smiles, “All you need to do is bring yourself, apparently.”
"And a date." Jinny adds.
The older woman says with a smile dawdling over Jinny’s dress, “Doesn’t she look beautiful?”
Jinny smiles a little uncomfortable. Jenny nods, “Yeah- nice dress. So, uh, you two are here together?”
“Not exactly. My friend Magda, if she ever comes out of the dressing room, dragged me along to help her find a dress. She’s getting married next month.”
“I see.” The blonde nods, “So I suppose you and Teddy set a date?”
She shakes her head, “Not just yet.”

Opening the door of the dressing room Magda was glancing down at the dress she had on, “Jin, what do you think?” Looking up she realizes Jinny had been talking to two other women, “Oh I’m sorry…I didn’t know you were here.” She said smiling at Heidi and glancing to the blonde with a look as if ‘Do I know you?’ then stepping back to do her own thing while her partner talked.
“No no, that’s okay, Mag.” Jinny said grabbing her friend’s arm and moving her over to the others.
“I came in here to check up on a dress that my other son would like me to wear to his wedding.” Heidi answers.
“I see, that’s right. Teddy’s brother is also planning a wedding. I remember you mentioning something about that in the waiting room when Alexis was born.”
She smiles proudly, “Yeah, I did.”
“You…” Magda says pointing at Heidi with a grin, “Need to help me talk Jin into getting this dress she has on. Isn’t it beautiful.”
“Indeed, it is. It’s gorgeous.” Heidi agreed.
“Oh, I’m sorry.” Jinny said putting a hand to her chest as if so sincere that she ‘forgot’ to introduce Jenny, “Magda… this is Jenny.” She says looking to her partner. “Jenny, this is my partner, Magda.”
The two women step forward, a false smile, yet again, across Jenny’s face. “Nice to meet you.” She said in a cheesy voice.
“You too.” Magda smiles then glances at Jinny with a look that said ‘You’ve got to be joking’.
“So you work at the police department as well?” Jenny asks in a less than interested tone of voice.
“Yes I do.” She smiles.
The blonde nods, “I best be going. I just dropped in since I saw you Heidi.”
“Thanks, dear.” Heidi smiles.
Within a few moments the blonde had exited and was down the sidewalk toward the grocery store next door.
“You’d knock Teddy’s socks off with that dress, Jin.” Magda starts up again.

She smiles shaking her head, “You’re one to talk. You look beautiful.”

Once Magda had decided on the dress to buy. Which was a slightly off white dress that was strapless, form fitting to her hips then cascaded down over her lower half- also the second dress she had tried on. Jinny was also talked into the dress she had tried on right at first, and sent it home with Heidi so it wouldn’t be lying around the house for Teddy to sneak a peek at.
“So that was the infamous Jenny, huh.” Magda said as the two women exited the store, she held a bag in her right hand that contained her dress inside.
“Yeah, that was her in all her glory, or lack there of- for that matter.”
“Well, I haven’t missed much.”
“You could say that again.”

Opening the door to her apartment the first sound that hit Jinny’s ears was Alexis’s cry from the bedroom.
“Hey, I’m home.” She calls out to Teddy as she takes off her coat.
The sound of Alexis grew louder until Theodore was fully into the living room their daughter in his arms, “She’s fighting her sleep.” He says as the baby rubs her eyes, squirming in his arms.
“The thing she does best.”
“Yeah, she can’t seem to put that little habit of hers to rest.”
Jinny laughs taking the baby in her arms, “I think maybe all babies do it.”
“That’s a comforting thought…”
“Yeah, there’s probably thousands of parents right now fighting their tired kid.”
“Oh yeah…” Teddy replies, “Comforting.”
His fiancé chuckles, “That’s what I thought…” she says as she holds her daughter against her chest her head near her shoulder as she keeps crying, “She eaten?”
Teddy nods, “Just finished the bottle you left for her.”
“Yeah, then she shouldn’t be hungry.” Jinny answers. Glancing over to her fussy baby she asks in a soft tone, “What’s wrong, baby girl?” she asks patting her diaper to see if she’s wet. Teddy notices her actions, “Just changed her right before you got here.”
“Man…”
“Looking for an easy way out.” He comments.
“Nothing wrong with that.” Jinny laughs and continues to sway back and forth with her child in her arms.

Finally the baby begins to settle down, but continues to whimper as her eyes begin close.
“I’ll take her…”
“Oh, I see how it is. I get her quiet and you take her. Now who’s taking short cuts.”
“Not me.” He smirks taking Alexis from Jinny’s arms.
“Yes, of course…not you.” Jinny answers.
“So how’d the dress shopping go?”
“Please, don’t get me started.”
“Come on. It couldn’t have been that bad.” Teddy replies.
“Actually, it wouldn’t have been..”
“Oh?” Theodore asks as he turns around heading for the kitchen Jinny right behind.
“Oh, yes, I forgot to tell you hello from Jenny.”
Stopping, her fiancé turns around, “Excuse me?”
“Jenny said hello.” Jinny says again very casual like.
“You and Mag did go dress shopping right?”
She nods, “Correct… what’d you think? I went and tracked down Jenny?” Jinny adds with a laugh.
“Wonder why Jennifer was in a bridal shop.” Teddy questions out loud as he begins back toward the kitchen.
“Well, to talk to your mother I figured,” Jinny answers following closely behind.
Again Theodore stops and turns around, but this time the couple had made it into the kitchen, “My mother?”
Jinny nods again, “Correct.”
“What was my mom doing there?”
She shrugs, “Something about checking out a dress Mathew and the queen held back for her.”
Theodore nods as he holds Alexis on the side of him as he leans into the refrigerator and grabs the pizza box from the shelf, “They’re picking out her clothes?” he asks with an eyebrow raised.
“Yep, like I told her. She could wear whatever she’d like to our wedding.”
He nods with a laugh as he leans over the door of the refrigerator and setting the pizza box on the counter for Jinny, “Yeah, that’s for sure. Wow- that just doesn’t sound like my brother.”
“Women like Sam do weird things to people,” Jinny answers opening the box on the counter and taking out a piece of Pizza.
“And women like you?” Teddy asks.
Jinny laughs after taking a bite of her pizza, “Don’t go there.”

As she settled her sleeping daughter in the bassinet in the living room, she went to the phone and looked in the directory for a specific number she needed. She picked up the phone and dialed the number from the directory as she waited for the person to pick up.
After 3 rings the person on the other line said, "Hello"
"Hey it's Jinny I was just wandering if you knew the person that has the boat that Teddy borrows now and then?"
"Mind if I ask why?"
"His birthday is coming up and I know he likes to go sailing so I thought maybe I could borrow the boat and surprise him." Jinny answers.
"Not a bad idea.” Matthew answers. After a moment he adds, “Yeah I know him, his name is…” after a moments pause he replies, “Doug Jacobsen. Teddy went to college with him and he came home with Teddy a few times."
"Great thanks and Matthew not a word okay. I want it to be a surprise.” She announces, “You don't happen to have his phone number do you? If not I can get it myself.”
"He won't hear it from me, and let's see his phone number is…” hearing a few pages of Matthew’s address book get pushed through Jinny finally gets a number, “555-7285"
"Thanks."
"Anything for my future sister in law, by the way have you two set a date yet?"
"Not exactly.” Jinny says, “We were thinking about when, uh, Alexis is a little more mobile."
Matthew answers, "Just let me know if I can do anything to help."
Jinny heard the keys rattle in the door as she said, "I will do that listen I got to go Teddy is home. Thanks again."
Theodore opened up the door as Jinny put the phone back on its cradle and turned towards him and asked, "So how was your day?"
“Actually not bad, I won in court on the Scribner case this afternoon. How was your day?"
"We are still trying to find any leads to the murder of the guy in the hotel room. We spent most of the day calling people that had stayed at the hotel that had left their correct names and addresses. Still haven't found anyone that heard anything that night. Waiting on the M.E's report. That about covers my whole day."
Theodore put his briefcase on the desk as he walked over and took Jinny in his arms, "So was Lexi good for Mom today?"
Jinny laid her head on Theodore's chest as she said, "Your mom said she was a perfect little angel."

Magda arrived home to find Ben and Gabe packing up a load of Ben's toys to move to Gabe's house. She smiled as she saw how many boxes Ben actually had that had been labeled toys. Gabe saw her standing in the doorway, "Hey how was your day?"
She smiles back at her fiancé. "Apparently not as productive as yours has been. What I wasn't packing fast enough for you?"
"It wasn't that, I just thought you might like to have some help and Ben finished his homework early so we decided to."
"I was just kidding Gabe." She replies taking a few steps into the room.
"Oh okay good, but we can pack some more if you are so inclined I have the night off from the club."
"I thought we were going to move this weekend not during the middle of the week?" she asks glancing around at the room that was slow, but surely getting packed. This was Ben first move.
"I just thought we could take a few loads over tonight if you wanted." Gabriel replies stacking a box upon another.
"I guess since you are off we could do that.” Magda answers clearing a spot of Benjamin’s bed and sitting down, “Since you have all of Ben's toys packed you might as well get them over there before he gets into them and we have to repack. These are all the toys right?"
“Pretty much there are a few toys left so he has something to play with til this weekend."

CD had just put her keys in the door when the phone started ringing. She unlocked her apartment and closed the door as she went to answer the phone the answering machine picked up as she heard "This is CD De Lorenzo, I am not available if you leave a message I will get back to you."
She reached the phone as she heard the beep and said "Hello"
The voice on the line asked, "Is there something going on between you and your new partner?"
"I can't believe you Frank, you have worked with us for 2 days and you are already asking stupid questions?"

You go to the button called user cp at the top and edit options then click on change avatar. You will need a pic that is (Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 125 by 125 pixels or 25000 bytes (whichever is smaller). Hope this helps.

Here's some more... I won't be posting for a couple days though. We leased a five bedroom house today, and we're moving in tomorrow. Pretty cool- it even has a swimming pool. We're all psyched.

The next morning the radio turned on in Jinny’s apartment.
“The sun is shining, the birds are singing and to help you with you commute to work the temp is a breezy 64 degrees."
Jinny reached over and shut off the alarm before it woke Lexi up.
"He sure is chirper this time in the morning." Teddy says rolling over in bed with a groggy voice.
Still not fully aware Jinny asks, "Who?" rubbing her hand over her face.
"The guy on the radio, at 6 in the morning the least he could do is sound somewhat human."
"Teddy he gets paid to be chirper."
Theodore rubbed the side of his jaw, "Does he have to be?"
Jinny looked to her fiancé, "My, we are in a grumpy mood this morning. Does it have anything to do with the fact you will be 34 in 4 days count them 4 days Teddy?"
"Don't remind me when my birthday is, Jin. I really think that I could do without the party Mom is having tomorrow night."
"I am not exactly excited about that one either. IF you remember right last year I didn't make the best of impressions." She says stretching slightly still lying down.
"But if you also remember right Lexi was conceived on my birthday last year."
Jinny smiled slightly, "That is the only good thing to come out of it." She replied in a rough tone still waking up.
"And what am I?"
"You know what I mean."
"Hmmm maybe you should remind me."

Jinny leaned in and kissed Theodore softly as she broke the kiss she said, "If we don't get up and out of this bed we are both going to be late and Cap might tell me I can't have Monday off.”
Theodore looked at her, "I didn't know you took Monday off. I know I asked Allen about it last week and he said he didn't see a problem with it. But I didn't know you had asked for the day off also."
"Well it was supposed to be a surprise to late now I guess."
Suddenly interested Teddy propped himself up near Jinny, "What do you have planned Jin?"
Jinny sits up and then gets out of bed straightening her t-shirt and short, "You will just have to wait and see counselor. I know we need to get up and Lexi to your Mom's though."

Jinny pulled up in front of Mag's apartment as she dialed Doug's number and waited for him to answer as she got out of the car and started towards the apartment building. As she reached the front door she heard someone say, "Hello"
"Is a Doug Jacobsen there?" she asks.
"Speaking but do I know you cause I am sure if we had meet I would have remembered that voice."
Jinny smiles, "Actually you know my fiancé, Theodore Blumenthal. My name is Jinny Exstead"
"Theodore said that you and him had a daughter. I was wondering when he was going to get around to introducing us. Are you calling to invite me to the wedding?" the man asks.
"Actually we haven't set a date yet but I will be sure to invite you when we do. Theodore has mentioned that he had a buddy that had a boat. With his birthday coming up I wanted to do something special to surprise him so I called Matthew and got your name and number to see if maybe we could borrow your boat this Saturday night?"
"Anything for Teddy. What do you have planned?"
"Let's just say that it will be a trip that Theodore won't soon forget."
Jinny had reached Magda's door as she opened it and walked in she heard Doug reply, "Should I give Teddy a call and give him the keys?"
She shakes her head, "No actually I was wanting this to be a surprise. I could meet you on my lunch hour today and get them if that is okay?"

Magda over heard Jinny's side of the conversation as she stared at her wondering what this was all about. Jinny looked at her and held up her finger as Doug answered, "Where do you want to meet at?"
"You name the time and place and I will be there."
Mag gave her partner another look as Jinny walked over to the couch and set down as Doug answered, "Do you know the law firm of Matteson’s and Sons?"
“Not exactly, but I can find it."
"Come in and ask the secretary for me, and I will bring you the keys say at 11:00 today?"
"I will be there and thanks and Doug not a word to Teddy okay?"
"Not a problem. Wild horses couldn't get it out of me.” He assures, “See you at 11:00."
With that Jinny hangs up her cell phone and glances over to her partner that was full of questions, "Care to tell me who you were talking to and what are you keeping from Teddy?"
"Mag please, trust me Teddy will like this."
Magda smirks, "Jin I want details."
"I think not."
Just then Ben came out of his room, "Hey Jinny."
"Hey sweet boy decked any one lately?” she jokes.
Mag gave Jinny a look as Ben answered, "Mom says I am not allowed to get in any more fights or I will be grounded until I graduate college."
"What was it about anyways?"
Benjamin shrugs, "I don't know."
Since Ben rejected telling her the truth his mother steps in, "Benjamin go ahead tell Jinny why you got suspended from school and have this blemish on your school records."
"It was about a girl." He finally admits.
"Woo hoo Ben way to go defending a girl's honor."
"Jinny." Magda says un-amused.
"What?"
"That is still not a reason to fight."

"Hmmm maybe not, but I get a little reprieve."

CD had just pulled into the station when Frank walked up and opened her car door and said, "How about getting something to eat tonight and work on the case?"
"Frank what were you doing? Waiting for me to get to work?"
The man shook his head, "As a matter of fact I just pulled in a couple of minutes ago and saw you pulling in so I decided to wait. You are so paranoid."
"I am not.” She defends herself, “As for working on the case tonight can we just play it by ear?"
"You are so afraid that one of your co-workers will find out what has happened between us, can I ask is that so bad? You’re a consenting adult. Adults have sex.”
"I am not afraid of my coworkers finding out what has happened between us."
"Okay prove it."
CD looked at him as Jinny and Magda were into the parking lot as she said, "How do you purpose I do that?"
"Have dinner with me tonight, and I am not talking at your place. I mean at a restaurant."
"Will you stop badgering me if I say yes?"
"Of course." Frank answers as the two begin toward the station.

Jinny glances to Mag as she parked, "Hmm Frank was by CD's car. I told you I think something is going on between those two."
"Speaking of what’s ‘going on’ what exactly are you keeping from Teddy?" Magda starts up again.
"Who me? Keep anything from Teddy? No way." She smirks.
"Come on Jin."
"It is a surprise and that is all that you are getting."
“You are surprising Teddy this time?"

Jinny smiled trying to keep her partner in suspense as much as she possibly could, "It is his birthday, Mag, that is why I asked for Monday off."

"Sheesh Mag, get your mind out of the gutter will you."
She shakes her head, "I never said it was in the gutter Jin."
Jinny and Mag walked into the station flashing their badges to the officer standing there.
"You didn't have to." Jinny answers as they neared the elevator where CD and Frank were standing waiting for the elevator.
"Hey CD, Frank how is the case coming?" Magda speaks up.
C.D. shakes her head, "Still no leads."
"Has she described the perp?” Jinny questions as the elevator doors opened, and the four Inspectors enter the deserted elevator.
"She can't seem to give us an accurate description to go by.” Frank answers, “Her story seems to change each time we visit with her."

As they entered the felony division CD said, "Don't all men stand behind other men?"
“Most of them do." Jinny nods.

Settling on a decision Magda answers, "I can wait in the car if you want."
"Suit yourself. I will be back shortly." Jinny said as she opened the driver’s side door and began to exit.
"At least leave the keys so I can listen to the radio." Her partner says.
Jinny tosses Mag the keys as she closes the door and heads into the law firm. She enters the building and finds the secretary's desk and asks the lady behind it for Doug Jacobsen. She watches as the lady dials a number, and once she got off the phone she said, "Miss Exstead, Mr. Jacobsen said that you can come up to his office if you take the elevator over there to the 8th floor his office is 817," The woman answers pointing toward the right side of the building.
"Thanks" Jinny says and heads for the elevators.
As the elevator doors open Jinny enters the elevator and punches the 8th floor’s button. It quickly got her to the floor and she found the office easily enough after she raised her hand and knocked on the door she waits for a response before entering.
Finally she hears someone say, "It’s open."
She turns the handle and asks, "Doug?"
Doug nods getting up from his seat, "Jinny?"
"Yeah,” she replies with a friendly smile as the two shake hands, “And I want to thank you for letting me borrow your boat I am sure that Teddy will enjoy his surprise."
"Tell Teddy I said he needs to have his family over so we can get to know one another. And I would love to see that daughter of yours before the wedding."
“I will tell him." She nods.
Doug nods, "Also… tell Teddy he has good taste."
Jinny laughs gently, "I will."

Doug came from around the desk, again- this time keys in hand and handed them to Jinny, “The bought is docked in Pier 115 and the tank is full.”
“There is also some food on board if you will be needing that." Doug adds.
"I think the boat is enough I have everything else under control." She nods.
"You can drop the keys by next week whenever it fits in your schedule."
"Nice meeting you and thanks I will get them back to you by early next week. Thanks again." Jinny turned to leave as Doug walked back to his chair.

Sitting in the passengers seat Mag saw Jinny coming toward the car. As Jinny got close enough she said, "About time." Out her opened window.
“I wasn't gone that long." Her partner defends and opens the door.
"Did you get what ever it is you came for?"
"Of course, this is getting to you huh Mag. You want to know what it is all about?" she questions after closing the door and putting her keys into the ignition.
Magda smirks a little, "A few details is all that I was asking for."
"I told you it is a surprise for Teddy. Sheesh I know you will want a full report huh?"
"Well not a full report just the important details are sufficient."
"Yeah we’ll see." Jinny started the engine and headed back to the station as Mag spoke up yet again, "So what is this surprise for?"
"It is Teddy's birthday."
"Hmmmm, didn’t you say something about Alexis being conceived on his birthday last year?"
"And your point is?"
"Nothing,” her partner shakes her head, “Nothing at all."
Glancing to Magda she smiles shaking her head, "Yeah that is what I thought."

CD, Frank and Nate were returning from Anchorside when they ran into Jinny and Magda at the elevators.
"Back from lunch already?"
Magda nods, "Yeah if you can call it a lunch, when I spent half of it in the car."
CD gave Mag a look and asked, "Why were you in the car?"
"Ask Jinny she had to make a stop."
Frank looks to Jinny, "What kind of stop did you make there, Jin?"
"Well if it is any of your guys’ business, Frank, I had an errand I had to run."
“Looks like she told you, Frank." C.D. smirks with her arms crossed as she awaits the elevator.
"What did I do today that was so bad?"
"Defending the pervert for one." Jinny replies.
“I was just saying maybe he was sleeping is all."
C.D. glances over to him, "Face it, Frank, you are not going to win this one."
"Okay maybe he was a pervert."
Bringing her hands up Jinny replies, "Halleluiah he has seen the light." As she walks into the elevator along with the others
Once the elevator arrives on the sixth floor the inspectors walk down the hall and enter the division doors. Theodore was bent down over Jinny's desk writing a note.
She walked over behind him, "Hey."
Theodore looks up from the note, "I just stopped by to see if you wanted to have lunch?"
"We just got back from lunch actually." She answers.
“Oh okay, I suppose I could see if someone downstairs would like to go."
As she sits down in her seat Jinny answers, "I bet I can name a person up there that would jump at the chance."
"You think?" he asks.
"I know."

"Just call to let me know okay?"
"Definitely.” He answers as he leans down once more for another quick kiss.
"Don't you have lunch to go get or something?" She asks as she looks over at Mag who was smiling at the couple.
"Yeah I suppose I do." He replies and exits the division
"Who would have ever thought Jinny would settle down with and ADA of all people, and start a family." Frank replies.
Jinny shot him a look as she said, "What is it so unbelievable?"
"I just never thought I would see you settling down."
"Contrary to what you may think, some of us can't wait for the good things in life. Unlike yourself, of course, that grabbed the first bimbo that walked within eyesight"

Teddy shrugs, "I think mom wanted it to be more family this year so she can play with Lexi."
"So just family?”
"What are you so worried about, Jinny?"
"Don't you remember last year's party?” his fiancé asks.
"Come on Jin that is ancient history."
"Maybe for you but not all those people who were there, they will take one look at me and think why the hell are you with me."
Theodore gently shakes his head, "Personally I don't care what they say cause they can't change the way I feel about you. And if they don't like that we are together they don't have to attend the wedding. Jinny, I love you and that is all that matters."
"I love you to."
He smiles at her, "See the key players are happy." Reaching for the handle on the door to open it, Teddy turns slightly as Jinny goes to do the same, "Stay put."
Looking back at him she asks, "Why?"
“Just humor me." Teddy gets out and walks around the car and opens Jinny's door. He holds out his hand and helps her out of the car. Once out Teddy wraps his arms around Jinny's waist and pulls her to him, "This is what it is all about Jin us together and making each other happy what more could you ask for and we have a beautiful baby girl in the backseat that was created out of love."

That's kick ass! I'm really glad you guys aren't ending it because I love reading it!

Still looking up into his face, Jinny smiles, "Speaking of Lexi…” she begins, “Maybe we should get her in the house before everyone starts arriving."
With that Teddy leans down and softly kisses Jinny as his brother, Matthew, pulls into the driveway and honks his horn at the two.
Breaking the kiss Theodore looks to the left of him at the car, "Older brothers can be such a pain."
"You are telling me I have the biggest pain in the butt."
Matthew got out of the car, "Can't you two wait until you get home?”
Teddy sees Samantha still sitting in the car waiting for Matthew to help her out and says. "Just cause you can't seem to get any doesn't mean that applies to everyone."
"Theodore." Jinny replies.
"Who say's I can't get it anytime I want it?” Matthew asks as he walks around the car.
"Well looking at Sam there I would say she is pretty much in charge." Theodore says looking from his brother to the blonde in the front passengers seat of the car, puffing her hair up.
“Yeah that is what you think." The man says right before he opens the door to the car and extends his hand to the woman.
"We should get Lexi and get in before the rest of the guests arrive." Jinny says again.
This time Theodore leans over, and opens the back door and retrieves his daughter in her car seat from the base. As Matthew and Sam walk up next to Teddy and Jinny, Matthew says, "Looks like my niece has grown since the last time I saw her."
"Well it has been a while," His brother replies.
As the couples walk up on the porch Heidi opens the door, "It has been far to long since we have all been together. Come on in the rest of the guest should be arriving anytime."
Robert came from the living room to greet his kids as they entered the house and they all headed into the family room.

Don't let it happen again, Miranda! :nonono:

Okay, I'm going to post some now and some later since I won't be home tomorrow. We're going up near San Francisco to pick up a friend- but I'll post more once I return... which should be early Tuesday morning, but you don't get anymore until I get up on Tuesday! hahaha

Under her breath, Jinny replies, "Thank goodness for small favors."
Theodore glances over at Jinny, "You would have to ask mom this is all her doing. I was quite content on an evening with the family only."
"Well you know your mother she loves to give parties,” Robert speaks up, “Although this years will not be anywhere near as many people as were at last years."
“Well I am proud of my sons so why not let people know how well they are doing?" Heidi asks as the doorbell interrupted the conversation.
“Must be the first of the guests. I will get it.” Robert says, “You all help yourselves to refreshments." The man adds as he leaves the room.
Leaning toward her fiancé Jinny quietly asks, "How many people are actually coming?"
He shakes his head, "I haven't a clue. Mom is the one that set this whole thing up." He says again.
"That is really reassuring there, Theodore." Jinny replies as she sees Matthew making his way over. Gazing into the car seat that contained his niece he looks up at the couple, "Mind if I get to know my niece?" he asks.
"Not at all, here let me get her out for you.” Jinny replies leaning down to the car seat and unbuckling her daughter. Gently pulling her out of the seat, Jinny brings Alexis to her chest as she straightens herself upright again, “Just as long as Samantha is seated when she holds her.” She adds.
"Sorry Matt but it doesn't look like Samantha has had much experience with kids." Theodore replies.

TUESDAY????!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!

Tuesday? But I must celebrate!!! I must celebrate, I finished my full-time employment!!!!! I am now a part time person. And I want to celebrate, and you're not here to help me!!!!

Matthew nods, "I can understand that one. And Samantha is not really into kids at the moment so she probably won't want to hold her." Taking the baby in his arms he walks over towards his mother with her.
"Yeah she might get a stain on that fancy dress she is wearing." Jinny says in Theodore’s direction.
"I don't see Samantha wanting a child myself."
"If she knew what it was to actually have to push the baby out of you I can guarantee she wouldn't even have kids."
The first of the guests had arrived, and the party started to get under way.

Magda and Ben were standing in the now empty apartment that they had lived if for the last 8 years.
"This is it Papi, check one last time to make sure we have everything on the truck and in the car. Cause after tonight we won't be living here any longer."
"Okay I will check my bedroom and closet one more time." Ben says and runs through the empty apartment’s living room and down the hall.
Gabe comes in from loading the truck and sees Magda just standing there looking around reminiscing- debating on whether this really was the best thing to do.
He walks up behind her and asks, "Are we ready?"
"Could you give me a minute?" Magda asks, putting her finger in the air.
"Sure I will go check on Ben."
Watching Gabe walk down the hall until she couldn’t catch a glimpse of him anymore Magda looks around and remembers bringing Ben home for the first time here, and sees the little marks on the woodwork where Ben was measured from the time he could stand. Magda walks over and puts her hand on the latest mark as she took her other hand and wiped a lone tear that made it's way out of her eye.
Gabe walks back from the bedroom into the living room and notices Magda fingering the marks on the wall as he walks up to her and says, "You know we can make new memories in the new place."

Bonnieslilcutiepie I hate getting into fights with you on every damn thread but don't steal my word, ok?!

There are so many memories here like when Ben took his first step right over there when he was 11 months old he was holding him self up along the coffee table and the next moment he was walking toward me not realizing he had let go of the table."
Gabe puts his arms around Magda trying to comfort her, "I know this is hard, but in the long run think of the memories we will have at the new place." He says again. “Benjamin will get to go out on his first date at the new place." Gabriel adds.
"Gabe he is just a baby he isn't even interested in girls at the moment."
"Well he is after all my son."
Wiping the back of her hand across her face she laughs, "Arrogant aren't we."
"Not at all. But we really should get the stuff to the new place to and get them in the rooms they belong. I will help you unpack if you would like."
"Of course you will. I suppose putting it off isn't making it any better. Go get Ben and we can head out."
Gabe turns to get his son, as he was asked to do. Ben walks into the living room and his father asks, "Ready to go Ben?"
"Can I ride in the truck with dad, mom?"
Magda nods, "Sure I will meet you two over there."
Gabe leans in and kisses Mag as he and Ben heads for the door.
Once the two were gone Magda takes one last walk thru the place. Finished she puts her hand on the knob to exit her safe haven for the last time. She turns as she walks out the door and flicks off the light for the last time. It was an end of an era.

Three hours later the party was starting to wind down as the guests had already started leaving. Jinny and Teddy had just gotten Lexi in her car seat and were getting ready to head home themselves when Matthew came up and patted Teddy on the shoulder, "Happy Birthday little brother."

Miranda, it's Angela. I'm just putting this post here to let you know, that in between writting my fan fic I will come over here and read yours......from scratch! lol I'm on like page 3 lol I really need to catch up! lol And just so you know, when I read your fan fic, it gives me inspiraton for mine. Ya know, ideas to use in my story. Well, I think I better start writting again, so i can type it out and post it, after I get a few replys. I am going to wait for Jeanie to read it. She needs to take her time, with all she has going on. So anyways, whenever the next time is that I am able to go on all night, I will so that I can catch up. I'll even put my away message up! lol ;) Eventually I will get around to reading it all. Well, now I'm off to writing more to my sucky fan fic lol I just think it's so boring and dry! lol bye for now

"Are you planning on having a big family also, I mean your mom wants more grandkids and since we already have Lexi,” Jinny shrugs, “I figured it was only right that you and Sam should be the next one to give her one."
Matthew laughs, "Mom has been working on you two for more grandkids eh."
"She mentioned it once or twice about wanting more." Jinny replies glancing to Theodore.
"She means well."
“Yeah I know, but one is enough..."
“For right now.” Teddy adds in, "Someday when the time is right we will have more kids."
Glancing at her fiancé Jinny replies, "Yeah… I think it would nice to be married first though."
"Speaking of which have you two set a date?” Matthew asks, “You know the offer still stands we can have a double ceremony if you want."
"Thanks…” Theodore speaks up, “But I don't want to share the spotlight with anyone the day Jinny and I get married."
His brother nods, "I can understand that."
"We haven't actually gotten a date set yet but we are talking about it. We both just went back to work after being off for 3 months it would be nice to work a little while before requesting time off for the honeymoon."
"Have you two figured out where you are going yet?"
"We haven't decided on a place yet. Where are you and Samantha going since your wedding is just around the corner."
Matthew glances across the room to where the blonde was, "Samantha wants to go to Jamaica so that is where we are heading for a week."
“Sounds like fun." Jinny replies.
Samantha then makes her way over to the small group and behind Matthew as Jinny adds, "I am going to tell Heidi that we will be heading out."
Teddy leaned over and kissed Jinny on the lips as he said, "We will be waiting right here for you."
Jinny found Heidi in the kitchen and went over to her, "Thanks for the party Heidi, but we are going to be taking off. Although I have one favor to ask if it isn't too much trouble."

This story is sooooooo good! I haven't been on here in a while, so I had to catch up. I'm loving it! Keep up the good work Miranda!!!:)
