Yes, I know how you feel, Gary.
I am trying to find something witty or interesting to write about myself here but the well has run dry. I am kind of boring...:) Except for my years in witness protection...:D
I really can't think of anything to say but I am going to color my hair and bleach my teeth today. I need to up my game a little.
Tomorrow is yet another family gathering and I am going to be seeing even more relatives I haven't seen in years. When you run into relatives you haven't seen in a long time, the first reaction you don't want is, "Boy, so and so got really old!"
My mom is having a ball at my oldest sister's rented house with all the kids running around. Last night they watched "Akeela and the Bee".
Well the well has run dry again. I am off to put goop on my hair and bleach on my teeth. While Carly Simon sings in the background...:D
I will check in later, Love to all my friends.

If Michael Lembeck were a Carly Simon song, would he be "The Stuff That Dreams are Made of" or "Anticipation"? ;)

And I know what I think I've known all along
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Lovin' you's the right thing
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Is the right thing
Nothing you could ever do would turn me away from you
I love you now and I love you now

I'll love you tomorrow as I love you today
I'm in love babe

Nordy 09-04-2016, 09:16 PM Hellooooooooooo everyone!! You guys all moved when I took my weekend and didn't tell me???? I'm sad now.....
This is my song to Valerie. "Knocked Out" by none other than Paula Abdul.
I was in love the moment that I saw you
I followed you thru the crowd and I almost lost you
I was dying to tell you but scared of your reaction
But I can't hold back because I'm rushed with thing called passion
[Chorus:]
You've got me knocked out turn me inside out
It's you that makes my heart beat
You've got me knocked out
Baby there's no doubt
You swept me off of my feet
I walked your way hoping that
Maybe you noticed
I don't want to move so fast
I don't want to blow it
Never did I think love could be so amazing
But the things that you're making me do
It's driving me crazy
I want us to be closer, boy I wanna be
Startin' somethin with you baby
My heart is steady knockin boy you've got my body rockin', caught
blow-by-blow, love T.K.O.

Kiss you all over :
When I get home, babe, gonna light your fire
All day I've been thinkin' about you, babe
You're my one desire
Gonna wrap my arms around you
Hold you close to me
Oh, babe I want to taste your lips
I want to fill your fantasy, yeah
I don't what I'd do without you, babe
Don't know where I'd be
You're not just another lover
No, you're everything to me
Ev'rytime I'm with you, baby
I can't believe it's true
When you're layin' in my arms
'n' you do the things you do
You can see it in my eyes
I can feel it in your touch
You don't have to say a thing
Just let me show how much
I love you, need you, oh babe
I want to kiss you all over
And over again
I want to kiss you all over
Till the night closes in
Till the night closes in
No one else can ever make me
Feel the way you do
Oh, so keep on loving me baby
And I'll keep loving you
Well it's easy to see
When something's right or something's wrong
So stay with me baby and hold me all night long
Show me, show me everything you do
'Cause baby no one does it quite like you
I love you, need you, oh babe
I wanna kiss you all over
And over again
I wanna kiss you all over
Till the night closes in
Till the night closes in
Stay with me, lay with me
Holding me, loving me, baby
Here with me, near with me
Feeling you close to me, baby
Show me, show me everything you do
'Cause baby no one does it quite like you
Love you, need you, oh yea
I wanna kiss you all over
And over again
I wanna kiss you all over

More ODAAT fanfic. Crime drama with hopefully a surprise ending.
Midnight in Indianapolis. The home of Mark Royer, Barbara Cooper (never Royer), Max Horvath, and Grandma Romano. The rain was beating down outside as Barbara made her way toward the small bedroom. In her hand was a sharp object. Maybe an ice pick, maybe a knife. Entering the room , she proceeded to thrust it into her sleeping husband's head, killing him instantly.
Grandma and Max enter. Grandma screams at the sight of all the blood. Max pulls out the gun he had bought to protect the baby. In a panic , Grandma grabs the gun from him and fires 3 bullets into Barbara. With a groan she collapses to floor, blood all around, seemingly dead. Grandma also grazes Max's leg with a stray shot. Now fully frenzied, Grandma orders Max to take Barbara's body away before the police arrive. Somehow, Baby Annie has slept through this.
Three weeks later.
A hotel room in Chicago. Max in a chair , Barbara on the phone to Grandma. " I told you it would work. We had to get rid of him. After those Funny Guys of his, and what they did to us, he had to go. But those guys were useful, teaching me about pranks, blood packs, squibs, fake bullets, and bulletproof vests. And with you fake acting hysterical like that, the police had no choice but to believe the intruder story. Yeah, we'll be back soon. Love you too"
Barbara turns to Max. "The rubber bullet still hurts your leg a little, doesn't it? Here's the card of a woman I know. Her job is to come to your house and help take care of you. Her name is Bonnie..."
The End.
Svenfan1234 09-05-2016, 10:56 AM Good morning and Happy Labor Day to all!!!

Tomorrow's my sister's Birthday!
Happy B'day to your Sis! :) How old will she be?
My Son's were over earlier, and George's daughter too. :) I was a little upset cause my older Son came in from out of town Saturday, and didn't let us know he was here till today a few hours ago! He was staying with a friend, and They wanted to party and go clubbing and didn't want to bother with the old folks I guess till the end to get some BBQ and home cooking!:( Oh well, at least he's doing good and I got to see him, and also my younger son who lives locally! ;)

She will be 23 tomorrow.
My brother often comes here announced with his girlfriend. They've been dating awhile, and if they get married, I won't mind! I like her, she'd be a good sister-in-law! ;) Getting ahead of myself here more than likely. But, of course, I consider you all family. Glad you got to see your sons! How old are they? I think you told me, but I forgot? We saw him today and we went out to eat for my sister's birthday but he was sick so he didn't talk much, which is very odd for him! His girlfriend is the quiet type and doesn't really converse much. It was her birthday this Saturday, September 3rd.

Anna Karenina 09-06-2016, 10:34 AM Hey Crew!
I hope everybody had a wonderful holiday.
Bonnie, I was at the Food Lion the other day and in their movie section, prominently displayed next to each other were the flicks "Labor Day" and the combo pack of "The In Laws" so of course who did I think of but you?
I had a nice time seeing my long lost relatives, I looked good, wore a girdle, the whole bit, pictures last forever on social media so I had to step it up. My hair and teeth, never better. I am trying to say positive things about myself today as an experiment... You have to fake it to make it...
My oldest sister from Seattle who is here temporarily with her large family and I worked out our sisterly differences and she got a chance to bond with our mother and see how challenging it is to take care of her so now we are able to communicate better and so that makes me happy. I think its good when people can forgive and forget the past and move forward. As Dr. Phil would say, no matter how thin you slice a pancake it always has two sides...:)
Well that's all I got for now.
I will leave for a while on a solemn note.
Nick Handris. We hardly knew ye...:(
Torgo 09-06-2016, 11:06 AM TORGO, Hello from Doug Heffernan's rec room... You and I are Ronn Moss's biggest fans...
The garage or basement? His basement rec was pretty snazzy.
Torgo 09-06-2016, 11:11 AM Spent the holiday weekend with my wife and daughter on the Oregon coast, went to my favorite place for clam chowder, Mo's in Lincoln City.
This was our big family end of the summer vacation before my daughter goes off to college in a couple of weeks. Of course I'm proud and happy for her, but selfishly I'm going to miss my horror buddy, we'll still watch horror movies on visits, but still...:(
Nordy 09-06-2016, 11:12 AM I was always jealous of Doug. Hot wife, cool friends (maybe not Spence) cool garage where he could watch sports all day, that and I would let Holly walk me haha
Tropical storm Emma Watson was supposed to hit my immediate area, but all we got was some wind.
Svenfan1234 09-06-2016, 12:43 PM I know someone with the last name Watson.. It was probably one of her relatives lol.
Bonniegirl 09-06-2016, 01:08 PM I am patiently waiting for the internet to be restored. We got shut down due to a past due bill, I just paid it over the phone, they said it would be back on within the hour.

I got to watch Labor Day yesterday! Thursday on my day off, after the beauty salon, I'm gonna watch my Michael movies. Maybe have a glass of wine or two! ;) :D
Bonniegirl 09-06-2016, 02:10 PM Spence is cool, I'd probably hang out with him over the other guys. Well, Deacon was cool too.

That's very nice! You must have had a great time! :) Wishing your daughter a good semester at school! :) Is the college far from you ? My oldest son lives a few hours from me. And the other one lives pretty near! They were over yesterday,as I said before though, seemed like a last minute thing and for some BBQ rather than wanting to see me! :(
Yeah. Remember a town called Clinton. A newspaper headline said "Bonnie blows Clinton"! We were making fun of it here! :D
I remember you posting it.

Yep, we had a great time. The Oregon coast is one of our favorite getaway spots.:)
She's going to University Of Oregon, it's only about 2 hours from here, so she'll be able to visit on weekends, or us there. So yeah, can't complain about that.
:( Yeah, it does happen where they'd rather be somewhere else.

Maybe during your appointment at the hairdresser tomorrow you can think of Max's body parts when you are having your hair blown out. ;) :D
How's My Bonnie, doing today?
I can't believe how unbearably hot and humid it is in Anytown USA. Summer weather, I am totally over you. Please go away already. UGH!
The good news is my mom is back with me, my sister died her hair a horrid shade of white blonde and she looks very different, I am not sure I love it and my mother doesn't either. Of course we pretended otherwise to keep the peace. :) I am glad to have her company again. It gets lonely without her...:(
I hope all is well with the crew and I know you are all devastated by the end of HiddleSwift...
Bonniegirl 09-07-2016, 03:17 PM blown out  :happyface
Hi Honey Sisterwife Dear !
I'm OK! Getting ready to go to my job! Just four hours today! ;) Maybe the shade of your Mom's hair will seem better after it settles a little and it's washed a couple times ! And you guys will like it better!:) What color was it before?
Hope your weather cools down ! I wish I could send you some of our lovely cooler weather here. ;) It's not even 80 and low humidity! I'm feeling kind of Ugh today though, I won't get into it, but it's female problem related! :( :p And I have to miss Part 3 and 4 of The Runaways too! :( But at least it's not Max eps. I have to miss! ;)
I wish it were tomorrow after my hair appointment! With my fresh blonde hair looking pretty! :) And watching my Michael movies drinking wine, imagining I'm on a date with him! :)

My Bonnie,
You are right maybe once it is washed out that hideous shade will soften. My mom is very skinny, she used to be bigger like yours truly but after three back to back operations she lost a lot of weight rapidly and now with the extreme white hair color she looks like a punk rocker circa 1980. I am mostly kidding of course. But it used to be a soft light golden brown and well I don't want to hurt my sister's feelings but she really went too far when she got her alone. She is so white haired she could be Schneider's lost long lost daughter, LOL.
The way Julie mouthed off in The Runaways is crazy. That is why Ed should have been in her life, he wouldn't have let her get away with that crap based on his tougher stance with the later vet episode. My battery is running out so I am typing as fast as I can right now. Ed was a good and stable man I don't know why anyone would have given him up, I digress.:)
I am sure you have beautiful blonde hair and I love blonde hair as a rule but when it is too extreme it is unflattering. I actually lightened my hair recently and it looks good because it is a soft golden brown.
Anyway, I am going to take my mother and myself to fly out with you and George in the cooler weather and we can eat our Dollar Tree snacks and you can have your wine and I will be drinking water because I am bloated. TMI, TMI!!!...:D Female problems!
Love you long time, Miss Meizenheimer.
I have to charge my laptop!
Love, Annabelle not so Kool, I am schvitzing! :D  :D

Thanks Alex,
I've been pretty decent recently so I can't totally complain. Yeah it was a birthday finally to remember and there was little drama but nothing terrible. The main thing the Cubs were victorious :) :) "State of Attraction" and "Cold Hearted" eh? Not bad songs. I always wondered she sang when she was singing real fast to this day in "Cold Hearted" I have no idea??
Svenfan1234 09-07-2016, 10:35 PM Yeah! IMO The Runaways were some of the best ( non Max) eps of the whole ODAAT series !!!;)
The way she throttled them!!! They looked like something straight out of It's About Time!!! You know, the caveman show that airs on Antenna? You were right, I loved it when Barbara called that psycho girl's BS on the necklace! Chuck I thought was also kinda crazy! But yeah it's one of my top favorites!!!

Alex Cooper 09-07-2016, 11:09 PM OMG Sven, I was just joking before, but this week's Svengoolie movie really is the original Star Trek pilot, with, IMHO, the most gorgeous man who ever lived, Jeffrey Hunter.

Nordy,
Glad you had a good, fairly drama free birthday! Yay that your basedball team won!
I really don't know what Paula was saying during those fast parts of "Cold Hearted". Back in the day, I kinda thought it sounded like names, maybe that she was saying guys' names who dissed her in the past. But listening to it again today, it sounded more like she was trying to echo some lyrics...who can say?

And Clayton Kershaw is a hotty! He's one cute blonde, blue eyed guy going off my type/rule of dark haired, dark eyed swarthy guys! :)

Wow! Look at those blue eyes! Even though like I said I prefer dark eyes on a man I make exceptions! A guy that was REALLY hot was David Selby who played Quentin Collins on Dark Shadows back in the late 60's- early 70's! He had BEAUTIFUL, very piercing blue eyes, you can't really tell in the picture but MAN those eyes, and he had the most beautiful thick dark hair, the kind of hair I love on a guy! ;)

Svenfan1234 09-08-2016, 02:58 PM Hi everyone  Who's on?
Anna Karenina 09-08-2016, 04:09 PM Of course Bonnie...we can put you in Cubbie blue too :) :)
Bradley Nordster!
I am excited to get my cub hat and so is my mom! I have only been to one game in my life, a basketball game when I was a little girl. I still remember how good that ballpark hot dog tasted. I don't eat hot dogs anymore, but I do eat veggie dogs as I try to avoid meat as much as possible. Bonnie, I am so glad you will be with us on this fantasy excursion...
Take us out to the ball game, take us out to the crowd, buy us some peanuts and crackerjacks. I don't care if I ever go back!
Incidentally one of my nephews is majoring in sports management like Jerry Maguire. I loved that movie so much, I think it was Tom Cruise's best performance along with his role in Rainman. I wanted to BE Renee Zellwegger and have him say those words to me like he did at the end.
Unfortunately Tom Cruise turned out to be a self centered control freak who treated his wives like crap so that particular fantasy kind of died. I hope I am not offending any Scientologists right now.
Anna Karenina 09-08-2016, 04:10 PM Hi everyone  Who's on?

Nordy 09-08-2016, 04:14 PM They are both nice! The same just about , royal blue! :) It's cool if a team we root for has nice uniform colors! ;) A team I really like is the Green Bay Packers but their colors are eww !! :p
The cheese hats are cool though! :)

Oh my Elyse!!
You have to have a Wrigley Dog then (no ketchup allowed Chicago rule) I'll make sure you'll love every aspect of the Wrigley experience. Grab your camera. You can sing "Take Me Out to The Ballgame" too during the 7th inning stretch. Wrigley Field tradition now started by the late Harry Caray in 1982 (He did it before with the White Sox at Comiskey Park) I took some courses in becoming a baseball scout but I realized that I was really paying for nothing I didn't go any farther than that, I can only imagine being paid to watch baseball for a living I'd be in Heaven. :) :)

Oh no... Not 9 periods we go from 7:38-2:38 lol. I mean that is how much they offer to us.
Anna Karenina 09-08-2016, 05:23 PM Haha there is more than that but we are a pretty small school.
Wow!
And you still make time for us, too?
I can't even remember any classes I liked except for drama and music and English. I am glad I lived back in the time when they didn't put so much pressure on students to succeed. My twin nieces who are your age are jam packed with classes and school activities. They never seem to get a break. :(
Babalu 09-08-2016, 05:34 PM That and I had "hands on" experiments

I only go from 7:38-2:38. Usually I'm up by 6:50, and asleep by 11:00.
Anna Karenina 09-08-2016, 05:43 PM You mean getting frisked after you tried it?

I also like the Ravens, and I'll add the Jets too along with the Giants since I fell in love with a Brooklyn born boy!;) :D I wonder how he feels about the Raiders and Rams though ,being he's been out here many years? Like me! But Raiders being up in Oakland so long now and s*cking , Hubby and I lost our fan ship after a while! He LOVES the Packers (sorry Nordy) ! And Rams, lots of people out here still followed them the whole time they were in St. Louis after they moved from LA! Now they are back, lets see how they do! It would be cool to have a winning football team in town, ;) since the Lakers aren't up on their job the last few seasons!
Nordy 09-08-2016, 07:36 PM Gotta have a word with Mr. George...hahaha

No Bear fan will ever admit the Packers are good. It just leaves bad taste in the mouth. Kind of like sour milk. My favorite verse of the Super Bowl Shuffle is from Steve Fuller the back up QB,.
Steve Fuller
They say Jimbo is our man.
If Jimmy can't do it, I sure can.
This is Steve, and it's no wonder
I run like lightnin', pass like thunder.
So bring on Atlanta, bring on Dallas,
This is for Mike and Papa Bear Halas.
I'm not here to feather his ruffle,
I just came here to do
The Super Bowl Shuffle.
Bonniegirl 09-08-2016, 08:06 PM Well if I can't have a real date with him with my nice hair and new boots , I'll have a pretend date and watch him on my "Side by Side "movie and have a glass or two of wine!:)

Anna Karenina 09-09-2016, 04:26 PM David was so good looking in the episode playing now. If I were still able to make it happen I would happily give him some children...
Ann was such a shedouche to him, I don't understand why any man would want a woman who shows him such unkindness and disrespect.
Boy, did he dodge a bullet with that harridan. She acted like such a bitch about the children issue.
I wish when he came back in the 5th season he was accompanied by a funny and personable wife named Elyse who gave him the family he so wanted...
Hey if Bonnie can have Max I can have hotter looking season 2 David with his wavy hair and his self deprecating charm...

We could all be together with Donald O'Connor, singing in the sunshine!
Elyse Kane is like a human Pez dispenser giving him all the children he wants and showing him so much love and kindness that he forgets all about that red headed menace... I love our alternate reality, Bonnie...it is more fun than real life...;) Real life kind of sucks. But you make the best of what you have and count your blessings..:)
Ginny Wroblicki is on. I am out for the rest of the season. She gives Elyse Kane a headache!:o

I bet you did, Sven!
I am kind of blue today, to be honest. This too shall pass...:( Things will get better eventually. They always do.:)
On the brighter side of life, my mom is responding very well to her medication though so how bad can things be really? I just hope that continues forever...:) She seems like her old self lately and makes me laugh a lot. The weather on the other hand is kicking me right in the arse. Sunday should be the start of the cool down so that's good. Does anybody here like this soupy weather? :(
Who is in The Cage?

I'm sorry you are feeling blue! :( I'm not exactly blue, per se' but today is like my Sunday, meaning starting back to work tomorrow which will seem like a Monday! :(
I'd really love to go on a romantic horse drawn carriage ride through Central Park with Max ( or Tony as he was named in Side by side)! :) Reason I thought of that is because there was a scene in that movie Sid Caesar and his wife were on a horse and carriage ride! It looked so nice and romantic! :)

Thanks, me too! I know it won't last forever but its nice to have her confusion and anxiety lessen for awhile. She does have some slips, for instance we were watching the Stand Up 2 Cancer special tonight and she thought we were in a hospital room for a little while...but generally she seems fine.
I will give the Sven movie my usual peek. :)

I'd really love to go on a romantic horse drawn carriage ride through Central Park with Max or Tony as he was named in Side by side)! :) Reason I thought of that is because there was a scene in that movie Sid Caesar and his wife were on a horse and carriage ride! It looked so nice and romantic! :)

There was a scene in The Goodbye Girl with Richard Dreyfuss and young Quinn Cummings on a horse and carriage that was memorable. He was asking permission to be her stepfather and told her "not to cry on the horsey!"

Alex Cooper 09-09-2016, 10:35 PM Good! I hope I passed my anatomy quiz today...
How are you on this fine day?
"The Cage" tomorrow at 10! Who's watching?
Sven,
I'll be watching, definitely! Even though I've seen it like a million times, the original Star Trek pilot is still one of my favorite television episodes of all time, and not just because Jeffrey Hunter is so amazingly handsome. It's a really strong, great story; the FX for the Talosians were well done; and the ending is so poignant it's actually made me cry on more than one occasion.
It's unlike the series in that Mr. Spock/Nimoy is the only carry over character there, and the ship sets look quite different. Yet it has a moodiness, a cool, claustrophobic feel, that got carried over into only the first few episodes of the actual series.
There is one more bridge to the series in Majel Barrett, who in this pilot plays a cooly efficient first officer, known only as Number One. Majel would return to the original series as Nurse Chapel, and, much later, to the Next Generation as Troi's mother. Her constant insurance of ST roles was equal part her talent and the fact that she was series creator Gene Roddenberry's wife.
Okay, I know WAY too much about ST, and sorry if I was boring with stuff ya already know.
Anna,
Sorry you're feeling down; as you said, it will pass and you'll be better. I'm glad your mom is doing better too. I know what you mean about the unpredictability; yesterday my dad was unsure where my mom put his lunch (umm..in the kitchen, like every day!) yet a few minutes later he was easily relating stories and seemed quite with it. And, as you know, those moments become so special!
Hi to everyone else too! I'm trying to make long posts that have actual points now, so we don't go through a thread every five days! Still, forgive if I digress to "thumbs up" types of doggerel.

I know the length of the pilot gives Sven lots of time for his tomfoolery? I am kinda looking forward to it, but moreso to Sven's bits. My birthday next year falls on a Saturday!!! :D
Alex Cooper 09-09-2016, 10:49 PM I know the length of the pilot gives Sven lots of time for his tomfoolery? I am kinda looking forward to it, but moreso to Sven's bits. My birthday next year falls on a Saturday!!! :D
Yeah, "hour long" shows back then ran around 50 minutes, and I think the unedited version of the pilot (which I'm really hoping they'll show tomorrow) may have been slightly beyond that. Obviously, it would have to have been cut down if it made it to network airing.
But even in its complete version, it should be the perfect length for an enjoyable feature plus plenty of Sven-shenanigans plus commercials. I'm definitely looking forward to his bits of Trek inspired comedy. Also, is this the first time his show is venturing outside of the Universal vault into Paramount territory?

That's cool about your bday next year. You should have a Svengoolie related party, make a video of it, and send it to him. I bet he'd show it or at least mention his appreciation! I like how connected he is to his fans!

Oh Alex/Greg. Thanks for relating that story about your father. This disease is very unpredictable and of course it will only get worse, so I appreciate every single day knowing that her memory will someday be completely gone. My sister who she was visiting with this week made the mistake of telling her she had Alzheimer's and that was the wrong approach I think. They really got into a fight over that. I just tell her she has old age memory issues like most people her age and she has to take a pill for it just like I take my diabetes medication. I am glad your father too has those "with it" moments. They are quite special for the people in their life.
Nordy 09-09-2016, 11:11 PM Cubs win!! Cubs win!! Magic number is at 7 yay!!

I know that he airs Paramount movies bought by Universal. I can't wait to hear his parody song!
I know Bonnie wants to see The Amityville Horror on Sven. Who knows on that one.

Hi Anna/Elyse,
I know, it is so hard knowing they won't regain what they had, and that at most we can hope for a slowing down of the process. I do agree that it's probably not best to confront the sufferers with a diagnosis...what's the point? My dad is aware of his memory loss, but knowing he has dementia wouldn't help the situation.
This will be a milestone post for me, #300, so I'm glad I could share it with you relating our experiences.
Plus, since I'm a total ham, I'm going to include my grid drawing of Jeffrey Hunter...Anna dear I remember that you said you are an accomplished opera singer! That is so cool; as someone who has no musical talent, I'm envious. This is my only talent such as it is...but WTH it's my 300th post.
Alex Cooper 09-09-2016, 11:26 PM Okay, it posted that way too huge...even my ego ain't that big!

I think ST is now a Viacom property.
Yeah, Amityville might be a bit too intense...Wait, is Michael Lembeck in that one? Bonnie!

Congrats, Brad!

Where is the drawing? Did I miss it? :)
Yes, I wish I could go out and sing again, greatest feeling in the world when you can share your gift with people. I was watching Celine Dion tonight on the Stand Up 2 Cancer show and wow, talk about star presence, no performer on that special had the talent she has. Most of the new singers today bore me silly.
Congrats on your 300th post, Alex/Greg! How can I work "whilst" into a sentence???

I know, "whilst" is hard to subtly bring in to conversation! I think I watched so many britcoms that I started using British terms without realizing it.
I posted my drawing, and, at least on my iPad, it took up 9/10ths of the screen! So if this blows up your screen, I apologize!....if this works, I'm not sure...

WOW!
Whilst I was looking at that drawing I was quite impressed by such attention to detail.
Your rendering of him is very accurate. You must have studied him for a long time. BoyHowdy, did he have some sexy, juicy lips!:happyface
You know we have another very talented artist here by the name of Torgo. Did you see his owl picture? :)

Thanks! It was a grid picture, which helps make it easier to do, but yeah, I am a sucker for detail.
I haven't seen Torgo's drawing. Do you remember where about which thread it was at and/or how I could see it?
P.S.:) excellent usage of whilst...:happyface

Felicia is his deadbeat mom! :D
Played by Elinor Donahue.
Why she would want to pass off her son to her ex husband's girlfriend is a mystery to me and the rest of TV Land. I mean, he just lost his father and then his mother bails on him to be with Charlie her new husband...that gets a :( from me!

Thank you, Bonnie,
You do have a great sense of humor and I bet you'd be a wonderful stand up comedian. If anyone would dare heckle you, why, I'd get my boyfriend to rough them up!:)
So, Felicia was Alex's mom...okay, I can declaw. Yeah, Elinor's FKB character was kinda precocious, but then again, both her mother, and I think her brother, said "a'tall" instead of "at all". How the Andersons were a typical Midwestern family is as mysterious as how a mom could leave her son with virtual strangers.:happyface

Anyone else enjoying (or at least watching) "The Cage"?
Svenfan1234 09-10-2016, 10:46 PM I am! I like Jeffery Hunter. He did well. If only he was on the series.
Bonnie should watch it. She might like him.
He was going to be Mike Brady lol. He should've been!!?
Nordy 09-10-2016, 10:51 PM I would watch but I have schedules to do for 15 security guards and train one on how to do her job since 1st shift obviously can't train people.

Hi Sven!
I was so jealous of Vina in that last segment!
Since my eyes are usually glued to Jeff, I almost forgot how pretty Susan Oliver was and how good she was in this role.

As Svengoolie mentioned, most of this pilot was eventually incorporated into a two-part original series episode. In it, Capt. Pike is injured and severely incapacitated. Mr. Spock takes Pike back to Talos IV, so that he can live out his days with an illusion of youth, health, and vitality along with Vina. They really were the loves of each other's lives. It's so romantic!:) :happyface

Hope all is well with you and yours.
Its such a sad day today, the 15th anniversary of 9/11. Its kind of hard to get in a good mood but we have to raise our spirits and muddle through.
God Bless the USA...:)

Svenfan1234 09-11-2016, 12:59 PM Hi guys
Yes, it's 9/11. :(
Anna Karenina 09-11-2016, 01:33 PM Hey Bonnie Koolheimer! Hey Little Brother!
I tried to catch some of "The Cage" last night but my "mommy" made me turn it around so unfortunately I can't give much in the way of commentary. ;) What I observed before the channel got changed was an extremely beautiful Jeffrey Hunter who looked like 60's era Larry Hagman and this gorgeous blonde lady at his side. I wish I could have seen it in its entirety but Mama still rules the roost. I thank God she is still here as my partner in crime. :D
Despite the overwhelming sadness of this day of remembrance, we have to find comfort in one another.
I am grateful for all my funny and loving friends here, especially now on this day. You all have kind hearts and great senses of humor and seem to "get" me as I "get" you. I could never take any of you for granted. I am truly Blessed!
I am also grateful that that the weather is taking a turn for the better, it is so pleasant here in Anytown USA. I love the light breeze that is here now, makes the day so much easier to get through.
Well 2 classic Brady Bunch episodes on Me TV today, Marcia, Marcia, Marcia and Getting Davey Jones. I still don't see how Jan's teacher couldn't do basic math and get the score on the "What America Means To Me" essay right...:D That was so ridiculous.
As you probably know Maureen McCormick will be on Dancing With The Stars tomorrow night along with TAXI star and memory expert Marilu Henner. I love both those ladies, bought their books, even talked with Miss Henner on the radio about 20 years ago and she couldn't be sweeter. I have a pretty good autobiographical memory too but she is just a freak. In a good way!
We should do a thread about celebrities we have met or talked to sometime.
Some day I will tell you the story about how Katie Couric helped me and my father out at the airport when I won a Grand Prize trip on the internet...I will save it for later though. Mom needs my help right now...
Take care, Poppets!
Bonniegirl 09-11-2016, 06:47 PM I just got home from work right now! OMG WHO is the HOT tall curly haired shirtless guy on Laverne and Shirley????? :eyes: I'm in LOVE!!!!!
Svenfan1234 09-11-2016, 06:57 PM Haha I was thinking of you when it aired!
Torgo 09-11-2016, 07:11 PM Thanks, I'll try to find it, or, Torgo, if you're listening, please repost!
I saw your wrong answer thread post, and, I must show ignorance: who is Felicia? Did Alex have a girlfriend on the show? If so, she better keep off my guy!
First off, your Jefferey Hunter drawing is excellent. I've only done a few likeness drawings as I find them very frustrating, so the few that I manage to actually make look like real people I'm flabbergasted.
But here's the owl...
