It is so charming and adorable to see the world have a good time at the World Cup games in the US. It is beyond wonderful especially for our 250th birthday.

But please please - the name of the place is not "America" - it is the United States or the US <> y'know kind of like the United Kingdom is the UK?

The United States is no more "a country" than the the UK is.

Brits would you call the UK "a country"?

I know -- we are almost as guilty of calling the US America but its really just a nickname,sort of like the UK is Britain.

Thanks for the vent. Please help spread the word.

And try not to trounce us too badly when we meet on the playing field.

So Balogun back helps. Him being gone was one of the reasons I favored Belgium over America. The other is I got Belgium mixed up with Portugal.

Yeah, I’m that stupid.

(Belgium still not to be overlooked though)

Without even bothering to repeat the same reasons on why Brazil shouldn't win another United-States-hosted FIFA World Cup again, I'm not sure why you even want Brazil to win the entire tournament. Any other Sitcoms Online members (legitimately) rooting for Brazil to win this year's WC? I don't think so.
