Wayne Gretzky isn't The Great One when it comes to pronouncing the names of countries.

This looks like a very winnable group for the USA.

I said that "The Men's US Soccer Team is probably going to be the first team to go into the World Cup Finals that isn't from Europe or South America"...but they might as well tell me "Face It...The Men's US Soccer Team won't make it into the World Cup Finals...ever"!

But...do you think USA could beat the juggernaut team from Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, et al?

My only hope for this year's FIFA World Cup is that Brazil (as powerful as they are) doesn't win the final, or even reach the final, like they did during the USA's last hosting of the FIFA World Cup (in 1994).

Aside from the "They just win too much" argument, Brazil's former capital (Rio de Janeiro) held its Olympic opening and closing ceremonies completely outside of the Olympic Stadium. Let some other powerful team win this time, please.

Never in my life have I seen a sporting event get so much hype as World Cup 2026 and what I think they are hoping is that this event will be as hyped as the World Series or the Super Bowl. Because I have seen as many World Cup promotions and sponsors such as Coca-Cola McDonald's Nestle and Frito-Lay promote World Cup 2026 and I can guarantee that the ratings for World Cup 2026 will go sky-high once it's finished
