Butterfly effect indeed. If Eleanor hadn't married and moved out, Jack wouldn't have stayed with Janet and Chrissy. Can we say Eleanor's partner is responsible for that?

Speaking of which, I don't want to go off topic here, but I believe it was never explained how Janet and Chrissy first met.

The AIDS crisis in the mid 80s changed all of that. Today doctors, dentists use gloves for everything. Crazy to think about but I have my 1970s memories. I can actually remember the first time a dentist used gloves was about shortly after this episode aired. It seemed really weird. But looking back it was gross for both the dentist and patient to have someone's hands in your mouth.
But the glove part is the least of it. Tetanus shots are not given in the butt. Also no one would just jam a needle into someone like that. But its done for comedy.
I've never in my life (or at least, as far as I know or can remember) had to take a shot (tetanus or otherwise) in my butt like Jack. It has always been in my shoulder. Granted, I know that I shouldn't be complaining too much about a show like Three's Company not being "realistic enough".

Again, I wasn't quite born just yet at the time, so just like the issue with Terri not wearing latex gloves, I don't know (and can't say from firsthand experience or knowledge, since like I said, wasn't around at the time) if it was actually normal or "standard procedure" to administer shots to patients like Terri did to Jack. I almost, wonder if Terri was simply trying to "mess" with Jack, which if she did, could've been a serious and major breach of medical ethics in my humble opinion.

I and many of my friends will not deal with women in business, et al. Even at the doctor’s, no females are to be around.

Last night on youtube I was watching a Burger King video from 1988. Everyone in the kitchen is making burgers with their bare hands. Hands go into the tomatoes and even touching the beef patties with bare hands. Its shocking to see today but that was the way it was back then. The medical and dental profession wore gloves before fast food workers. I can remember around 1982 when my dentist started wearing gloves.

To this day I will not have a female nurse. Nope. Jack was def the modest type around women. I and my male buddies are nude with each other at the gym all of the time, but we’d flip out if a woman came in.
