![]() I forgot about this thread. can't believe how much time has gone by. I don't like the original ones that I picked. I think I was being cheeky which may have been the intent of the thread. RS is obvious. but in reality I would pick Fritz Vicken as my #1. his story telling is from a time in history that really needs to be told so much more than it was. we need that now more than ever. |

The girl from the "Laurie" rape episode. What a fun interview to watch, she was so cool. Honestly, just a hero. Christina Steinbergs is her name.
Norman Radner's mother was so sweet and tender. I wouldn't buy her a drink, I'd take her out to dinner just for all she's been through. |

For sure I would buy Liz Carmichael a drink. Spending an hour with her would have been compelling. What’s sad is that she was clearly a highly intelligent person, she just put that brainpower to use in a scam. In turn I would also buy drinks for all five of her kids. Spending an hour with them would be similarly fascinating.

this makes me think of a thread where maybe you don't want to accept a drink from certain people featured on UM. or spicy fried chicken.
I'd buy a drink for the detective in the dallas county sheriff department that helped solve the Roxanne Jeeves double murder. he didn't give up after many years. |

Maybe we could FaceTime? Truly we were supposed to have flying cars 11 years ago, imagine a flying Dale. No engine, 2x4s holding up the rear wheel, door hinges, and bendy glass. |

Dennis Pagenkopp, the cop from the Burrowing Burglars segment. Seemed like a decent guy who could tell a tale or two.

Georgia Rudolph. How she managed to spin such a convincing story about reincarnation. It has been debunked, but it's a great story and she had ASMR delivery before ASMR was even a thing.

I would like to sit down with some of the old timers from the marfa lights segment. I think most of them have passed away, but some of the younger people from the segment may still be around. Hopefully someone has gotten their oral history. That part of Texas is probably my favorite place to visit in the state.
