Default Watch the first episode at TVLand.com!

TVLand.com has made the first episode of "Hi Honey, I'm Home!" available for viewing any time of the day or night through their new TV Land Video Player. Just click on the 'What The Heck' button and then on the 'Hi Honey, I'm Home!' tab to view the very first episode. Here's the direct link to view it. Just so you know, a broadband connection may be necessary to view it!

Thumbs up hi honey im home freaks unite!!

Hey---this show rocks. . .It was on when I was about 14-15 and was the first time I was aware of Dwayne Hickman or Ann B Davis or----you name it, the gueststars were great--and teh regulars were Broadway actors who went back to stage stuff afterewards and they effing rocked poor li'l Nickat night, which returned to the same sad bs afterwards:eek!

Hoping this means TVland is bringing it back to the air. . .Gone too long, and way smarter than anything that has beenon since! Waaaaaaaaaaay ahead of its time.

TV Hi Honey great trivia

Hi HOney I'm HOme is back on line--tvland.com/whattheheck, if you want to see the first episode. I did some research and did you Know:

Michael Patrick King (SEX AND THE CITY, THE COMEBACK) was one of the writers on Hi hOney I'm HOme?

Irene Mecchi (wrote THE LIONKING) was also one of the HOney writers?

And Doug Wright (wrote I AM MY OWN WIFE & GRAY GARDENS) was ALSO one of the writers?

this was a REALLY smart show that deserves a 2nd look!!!!! Highly recomended.

Thumbs up Gomer Pyle ep

I loved the show --the condom episode was hilarious. ( Honey handing out condoms to kids, saying "Here, have a condomint."

I can't recall if this was the ep where Honey and Lloyd tried real sex for the first time?

I remember the ep where it was the neighbor boy's birthday, and he was cheered when Gomer Pyle showed up with a cake, and the boy's mom asked, "Did you just get back from the Gulf?" and he replied, "Oh, no m'am, I never got out of boot camp."

Gale Gordon was a wonderful character actor --and still consistantly good playing Mr Mooney

This was one of only a few shows from the 90s that I really enjoyed. If they ever release it on DVD, I'd certainly buy it. I wish TV Land would re-run the series again.

Default Hi Honey, I'm Home!

We loved the show also. We were fortunate to be in the audience during the taping for the episode with Ann B. Davis (Alice on The Brady Bunch) in it. We had a lot of fun. Wish there was a way to get the series on DVD.

I wouldn't mind having a DVD set of this either. Only saw a couple of the episodes (I remember the one with Barbara Billingsley, where she and Honey were sitting at the kitchen table and Honey hits the remote control to change everything to black and white). I also loved their doorbell (it chimed to the tune of "Hi Honey I'm Home!")

"The Instant Rerun"... definitely an idea that had some potential!

Thumbs up

I LOVED this show as a kid! I was disappointed that they canceled it after only one season! To those of you who have it taped, is there any way I could upload it for my personal use from you if you have it on your computer? I would be eternally grateful if you could! I found one pilot episode on the most popular video site (not sure if I can say exactly which website it is on here or post links) and now I want to see more since there isn't any more on that site.

I lived in Orlando when the show was being done, and I saw the
ANN B. DAVIS episode filmed, and got to meet her.
