Post Hi Honey, I'm Home!

I don't see this show mentioned anyplace....I absolutely love it. But it is the kind of show that you either love or hate! Anybody else like this show?

I not only have the entire series on tape but got the unaired pilot with a somewhat different cast (has AJ McLean from Backstreet Boys) on a trade. I wish it hadn't been cancelled then I could watch a new episode every week! Oh, well....

I remember the title of the show, and I'm thinking it was in B&W, but what was the premise of the show? I can't remember.

The show was about a family that's new neighbors are from like a television demension, uh ... it's sorta hard to explain. It was like if the Cleavers moved in next door.
It was really corny, as said before.

It was color but everytime they talked to someone from the "TV World" they used their "Turnerizer" to zap them to black and white. And they had some guest stars from older sitcoms, I can remember Barbera Billingsly being on there.

I only saw one episode of it on Nickelodeon's "Nick Knew Them When." I watched it because it was AJ McLean they were saying they knew. The show was corny, but it really wasn't bad. And I LOVE AJ McLean, and he was so cute back then!

I think that I remember this show on Nick At Nite a few years ago, and I didn't really care for it. I guess it was too corny.

I loved it! Sure it was stupid, but if I wanted to be educated, I'd watch 60 Minutes or CNN!

This was a great show! It was similar in some respects to the movie "Pleasantville". I really liked it when the Neilsens would be visited by characters from other Sitcoms that had also been cancelled. If I remember correctly, Rose Marie dropped by one week as "Sally Rogers". Also, the great Gale Gordon had a cameo as "Mr. Mooney". Someone mentioned Barbara Billingsley. I'm not sure if it was the same episode, but Ken Osmond also appeared as "Eddie Haskell", and of course he complimented Honey Neilsen ("My that's a lovely dress you're wearing Mrs. Neilsen!"). This was one of the most original and imaginative shows on TV.

I loved Honey I'm home. I loved how each week they had a special guest star. My favorite was when Alice from the Brady Bunch visted. She had written a book & Honey started to read it & it starts off there's a story of a lovely lady. I wish it still aired.
