I'd like to see s complete series set of TBH, too. My fear is that since the show had 274 episodes, it might start off being kinda expensive. It will probably have to be out for awhile before the price comes down. But who knows.

I read that CBS simply isn't all that interested now in making new physical media-related releases of old shows despite the fact that the entire Beverly Hillbillies series has been remastered.

I'm reading these links to the Steve Hoffman forum. I haven't read any post yet, saying the entires series has been remastered.
Is there evidence of it on streaming sources? I know Amazon Prime has My Three Sons now, and the color seasons are "same old"--tired Viacom masters that have been on TV for years. |

I'm not sure if I would want the complete series of Beverly Hillbillies on DVD. I have the seasons that have been released thus far, seasons 1-5, and I seem to be fine with those. If the remaining seasons would get released, I would probably at least consider buying them but again I'm not sure.
Petticoat Junction is also incomplete on DVD, only seasons 1-3 have been released. From what I understand, starting with season 4, the series began a change in direction and several songs were performed in episodes, I imagine clearing all the music for seasons 4-7 on DVD would be quite the difficult task. |

If he means the 90s work that mastered many sitcoms to videotape, yes, that's true. But there's no evidence in TV showings that the later seasons have had any work done to them beyond that. |
