That quote could have been and was most likely was taken out of context.

More like the question was "So won't you be devestated if DH doesn't last more than a just a few years?"

And then she says, "No, that's the nature of things" (all cut out of the quote) and then the quote "I just think everything comes to a natural close at some stage, doesn't it?" "And the world of film does sound appealing again."

Given the huge raves of the show and all that has transpired with revived careers, doesn't that make more sense?

That article isn't true, it's just gossip, she's not leaving, it would be career suicide if she did

Marcia went to become a psychologist though. She did something smart during her break from television. You Teri fans really can't stand it that Marcia is one of the main reasons why people watch this show. If it weren't for Marcia, this show wouldn't be as popular as it is. Her character is the most liked among some fans of the show.

She'd have to be a total idiot to leave DH at this point. I seriously doubt she'll leave.

I don't know what it is with all this Teri hating. I am a big Marcia Cross fan. I have been every since her days on Melrose Place but if you think the show wouldn't be hurt if Teri left especially this early in the show's run then you are fooling yourself.

But that's the problem, I do think it would be hurt. That's why I want her to stay on for as long as possible.

I don't hate Teri and I don't want her or anyone to leave the show. It wouldn't work unless all of them were in it. I just get sick of Teri fans being so damn jealous that most DH fans like Marcia more. It's not Marcia's fault she's a great actress who can pull off anything when acting.

Besides the only person I wanted to leave the show has, at least I hope so. I really hope next season we see Steven Culp's character buried six feet under and forgotten. He was the worst thing to ever happen for Bree.

He made Bree. He was one of my favorite characters on the show (definitely the best male character). I'm going to miss him come fall.

I think you got your wish but I disagree. The Bree/Rex relationship MADE Bree funny. I just don't think her plots are gonna be good with Rex gone.

Oh and Teri Hatcher would be a complete idiot to leave the #1 show on TV when she's getting paid the most of all the women and gets the most publicity.

I'm really going to miss Rex because him and Bree made a great team. I guess we'll see if she remains as interesting without Rex around.

Why doesn't anyone seem to care that Rex cheated on Bree and hurt her? If you get cheated on, would you want to be with that person still? Bree needs and deserves way better than Rex.

If Bree were a real person, I'd feel sad for her. But this is television, and Bree & Rex made for great TV. A happy couple is an uninteresting couple.

exactly. Some of the best moments on DH was between Bree and Rex. If Bree turns into a happy housewife she will not be interesting anymore. And is George really better than Rex? The guys a murderer.

Why would she want to quit DH in the first place? Just like she said in interviews, she was a "has-been". I don't think she wants to go back to that.

"everything comes to a natural close"??

Ohh, sort of like her career before DH.
Don't take my word for it, but allegedly, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria hated Teri Hatcher because Teri was top billed due to being the most famous from Lois in Clark. Felicity felt she should be the lead because she was the more "serious" actor. Her and Eva would ice Teri out and leak stories about Teri being a diva when in reality all Teri wanted was to get paid based off her resume.

When it came time for their raise, Felicity and Eva got really mad when Teri wanted more. Again, Teri was billed as the main lead and did most of the promo work so in a round about way, you could see her point. That was again allegedly, when Eva started to paint Teri as being a bitch.
