They should have had Sue Ann make a cameo in the later seasons episode where Blair is milking a cow in Iowa (with the mountains in back when Iowa doesn't have any mountains).

I can see why you'd ask that, but that's actually green fields back there. All these photos are from CAMERA FILM back in the nineteen hundred and nineties! I've always loved nature photography. I was a little Molly Parker in a Sue Ann 'hood!

Yeah, those Iowa mountains were a little silly. But I do like the fact that they shot part of that episode outside of the studio itself. Those brief moments are kinda nice. Very rare, but also quite nice.

The last one actually reminds me of something Blanche from the Golden Girls would have hung in her bedroom. I guess it's the green leaves with the pastel pink sky. And it follows the Rule of Thirds, so "Nice composition!"

Glad you're enjoying scenes from the homestead!

Well thanks... And I see what you mean about Blanche. The corn stalks even look kind of like "cousins" of the banana palm fronds! ![]() I love how the pink at the top blends into orangey at the bottom.

Definitely! Thanks so much for sharing these, and the time you took to sort through, scan, and upload!
I was still hoping to get some nice photos of Lorimar's latest Disney vacay, though! Quote:

Well, actually...I kind was! He's "visited home with me" and I've "been to Disney World with him".

I love the pink sky in the second photo.
The first photo reminds me of the opening credits of 1979-era One Life to Live, which my mom watched religiously during that era... one of my earliest TV memories. ![]() |
