Actually, it is not. Ellen Jackson and Fran Crowley did not move to Miami. Rose Nylund and Blanche Devereaux been in Miami. So, that’s not really the same. LOL.

Well well well. Here we go again. LOL. It is a spin off. Exactly producer backed it up and plus, the sitcom focused on the woman that was Mr. and Mrs. Finley‘s housekeeper.

You are on point! That’s what I’ve been trying to tell TVFactFan and Wawwie but they’re not willing to meet with me.

But wait... "Henry" from Maude became "James" from Good Times and you say that is a spin off.

That actually does not matter. Like I said before, names can be adjusted. Once again, I promise you. It is a spin off. And since I’ve been on the television industry since 2007, I am now even more confident about what I am saying.

Trust me. I know where you’re coming from. I have been saying the same thing for almost 19 years when it comes to our buddy Solomon. LOL. This is been going on for almost 20 years on this forum. And I still stand strong in my point of view. It is actually factual. It’s a spin-off. I agree with you.

Exactly
I dont know the ages of people posting but there are some very weak analogies given here. Actresses on different sitcoms being the same as a character on one sitcom spun off as the same character on another sitcom. That is not an analogy at all. Its apples and potatoes. Rue was Aunt Fran on Mamas Family. She was an entirely different character on Golden Girls. Florida was the SAME character. Florida made Maude a huge success and they gave her a show based on her character.
If I was a logic professor, there would be several failing grades in this class
This is not even up for debate.

I guess this ongoing argument will never end. There’s one side that constantly keeps denying that it is a spinoff and saying that it isn’t one and one side that says it IS a spinoff.

Did a character on The Golden Girls appear on Mama’s Family? Was Blanche or Rose the same character on Mama’s Family?

Amen to all of that. Those comparisons are not examples to match the debate we have going here.
