Marla Gibbs Set for Recurring Role on "Grey's Anatomy" Spin-off "Station 19"

Marla Gibbs will have a multi-episode arc on "Station 19", ABC’s upcoming "Grey’s Anatomy" spin-off that premieres March 22 at 9 PM with a special two-hour episode.

As per usual for Shondaland series, her character details are under wraps.

"Station 19" Adds Brenda Song for Multi-Episode Arc

Brenda Song has booked a multi-episode arc on "Grey’s Anatomy" spin-off "Station 19", EW has learned exclusively.

Details on Song’s role are being kept under wraps, but we’ll first meet her character in the second half of the show’s two-hour premiere on Thursday, March 22.

"Station 19" Renewed for Season 2 at ABC

"Grey’s Anatomy" spin-off "Station 19" has been renewed for a second season at ABC.

The series was not an out-of-the-gate hit for the network but has done respectably well ratings wise, averaging a 1.08 in the key 18-49 demo and 5.4 million viewers.
