Sheesh. I'd like to see Richard Karn pull some kind of Richard Dawson antics--I'd like to see him try and make out with one of the contestants a'la Dawson. Cops can them cart his ass off the set in handcuffs. I don't know...ANYTHING to get Karn off this show. Watching him host the Feud is like watching a drunken uncle at a family party.

While stupid little things like the introduction of Lucky Lollipop trees helped the "Feud" of the 70s and 80s venture off-track, the show was never the same when it came back without Richard Dawson. While his controlling nature and so on reportedly made him very difficult for Mark Goodson to work with, for the viewer at home, Dawson was "Family Feud." Even when he came back for a season in the early 90s, there was still some magic there. Everyone else who has ever hosted this show has been in Dawson's shadow.

This show was one of my very first loves on TV.Richard Dawson was born to host this show.Word to the wise.....women loved his advances.So don go getting all "PC" about it.In fact he was pretty decent when he returned in the early 90s,but the fact he wasnt his swinging 70s self angered me and other viewers,plus the show had run its course,anyways.Ray Combs took awhile to catch fire,but the show ended up being decent in his last couple of years.LOUIE killed this puppy and the "Bullseye" round was spitting on its grave.One format in the entertainment buisness that is pretty constant(for a good reason)is game shows.(Even board games apply to this:did anyone like the "new" Monopoly formats?....Me either!)You dont get creative with a successful format!!!!You dont see Jeopardy adding a disco dance round!!!
