...quite a few people were amused by it. I could have never predicted people's feelings about it would go from one extreme to the other in just a matter of days. I truly am the sorry one for trying to make people laugh. I don't know what I was thinking.

What seems here as an attempt by you at an apology was lost in calling me ridiculous. First off, I cried because you embarrassed me and I was pissed off about that. Frustration and being misunderstood sometimes induces tears. It is human. Secondly, a pet I treasured for 13 years died in my arms this week which could also be why the tears were so close to the surface. Hardly ridiculous, though you wouldn't know about that because you don't know me at all which is precisely why you shouldn't have been so quick to suggest banning me over ONE isolated incident without considering anything else I might have to offer, or have already offered, to the SO community.

However, explanation of my emotionalism is not served to excuse your overly judgmental response to my post. There was no malicious intent behind my attempt at a joke and it should have entered your mind to fairly take that small factor into consideration. To come here and switch things around to what you maybe should have said is too easy. What you said is what you said where you said it and maybe you should have made ammends, presuming you are sincere, there.

I don't want to harbor heavy feelings over this anymore. I am usually a very happy person who seeks to avoid conflict if possible, but to be treated like I don't deserve to be here was going overboard. I hope that you can understand my position but, if not, there's nothing I can do about that. For both you and I, life goes on. Be well.

Me too.. That is always happening to me especially at home.. My brother thinks he is soooooo smart cause he has an IQ of 147, then I remind him that mine was only 4 points lower than his.. and he shuts up.
