A friend of mine went into one of those herbal medicine shops to buy some fish oil and I got these ayurveda smoking therapy cigarettes.

It's made from natural paper and is nicotine and tobacco-free; uses holy basil and camellia sinensis for treating colds, anxiety and stress, and jet lag. It's pretty much like smoking herbal tea.

Those are good to have.

You can get those skinny desk lamps that are all in one piece but those were not very attractive. I got a small desk lamp with a white base & a light blue shade but those are sold separately at Walmart. I guess they sell them separately so you can mix and match them.

I stocked up on paper, pens, pencils, etc.. this week since they were having back to school specials. This is stuff I use all year long.

Yes, Moore and Curtis are an interesting match. The show only lasted one season, unfortunately, but I saw a couple of episodes on Youtube and it was good.

Saturday my wife and I spent half the day at Powell Books. My wife bought a ton of books, I bought a bunch of horror and scifi paperbacks, a few books on movies (Horror Guide to Massachusetts being one I'd never heard of before).

And for my daughter I bought all 3 volumes of the Brian K Vaughn comic book series Paper Girls. Glancing through it, sort of reminds me of a female version of Stranger Things.

I bought two books written by Tom Jones and Drew Barrymore. I am not a huge fan of either celebrity, but their autobiographies looked interesting. And as I mentioned before both books were on sale. I purchased three items for only twenty bucks. You cannot beat that since hardcovers are usually quite pricey (normally ranging between 27 to 30 bucks).

I haven't seen all of her work, but the stuff I have seen I've enjoyed. As a kid I was more familiar with her from her later stuff like Burnt Offerings and The Watcher In The Woods.
I've watched some of her interviews that have aired on TCM, I think one was with Dick Cavett. She's fun to listen to.

Exactly. Though I do enjoy my Kindle, and I like that I can have many books in one thing, especially book series, and collections (like HP Lovecraft's entire library), there's still nothing like the feel of a real book.

I stopped by a local video game/comic shop and saw that they were selling Mystery Boxes for $20 dollars. I asked what was in them and the guy said it contains wallets, mugs, POP figures, stickers, pins...and that each box contains about $50.00 worth of merchandise.
