8 gooseneck desk lamps from Dollar Tree, 2 of each color. The white lamps are clip-on. Energy saving 13 watt bulbs are included with each one and they're supposed to last 9 years. Colors and styles vary by store and of course they were only a dollar.

Grocery Shopping - The Ingredients for two soups I will be eating this week (From Monday 11/18 through January 1 I will be eating nothing but soup unless I'm attending a Party and the Holidays themselves (Thanksgiving,:turkey: Christmas :santa2: and New Years Day :football:). I weighed 278 pounds this past July 4, :eek: I now weigh 254 Pounds. :) My Dr wants me to get below 200 Pounds we are entering the worst time of the year to lose weight. I see it as a Challenge. :D

Soda stream... What a great investment!

I ordered two monthly planners from Staples; being delivered this week. Friday night, I went to CVS and caught some great sales. I bought four box sets of perfume and body lotion and a Christmas wreath made of jingle bells. I even bought my best friend something for next Christmas.

I've been spending money like there's no tomorrow. I seriously have to knock it off. Every time I leave the house, I spend hundreds. It sure is fun. :D

I'll list it all. Mostly groceries that I bought. but a few frivolous things that my mom got for me since we got my grandma's inheritance money yesterday.

Mom bought me:

A pot of that nail polish remover where you just stick your finger in the sponge to remove polish (I love that stuff and hadn't had a jar in a while)

(the big thing she's getting me when she can drive again (she had a fall right before Christmas...and is still hurting. :( ) She's gonna get me an amethyst ring to go along with the amethyst earrings she got me for Christmas. See my grandma told my stepdad in a letter to spend the money on something that would make all 3 of us happy. My stepdad got a new gun (he's big on them...I don't like it..but, what can I do.), my mom is gonna buy a topaz ring, and she's getting me the amethyst ring. Because, she knows I love it. I can look at it and remember my grandma years from now too. Which, is a nice sentiment. OT: I know.

That stinks man. :eek: I have had a 52" Sony Bravia ship to my house with a cracked screen. The box looked like something on the truck fell and smashed right though the box hitting the screen. :( Had to send it back to Sony, and they even tried to stiff me by making me wait 3 weeks for a new one to come. I called them up and complained and they wound up sending me a new TV over night delivery. :)

My latest purchase was the Salton Sea DVD with Val Kilmer. Its a real good movie and the DVD is out of print so it cost me 55 dollars brand new, but i like the movie so much it was worth the money.

I bought four pocket books at Kohls a couple of weeks ago. Over the weekend, I did some online shopping. Three summer tops at Kohls and a pair of black pants and another top at LL Bean. I went to Target last night and bought a bunch of stuff. It's about five minutes from my home, so I'm there a LOT; drop a lot of $$ there, especially since they expanded their food section.

I shop at Target the way others shop at Costco. I buy paper goods in bulk; toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, personal wipes, paper plates, cups, plasticware, etc. I also buy all my cleaning supplies there.

Going out to the Supermarket to get some lunch meat and cheese for lunches.

they just closed down our local Target on Saturday - I am pretty upset about it because it was my favorite store to actually go to for shopping

anyways, they didn't really have anything on special closeout sale or anything but I picked up a measuring cup, 8" chef's knife and sharpening steel, a couple of graphic T-shirts, a dvd for Robyn and maybe some small stuff I can't remember.

^ I honestly think I'd cry if my Target left. I don't even think it's five minutes from my home. I hop over there after dinner often. That store has just about everything. Not crazy about their clothes, but love everything else.

Today I ordered four more summer tops for myself from LLBean. I love the quality of their clothes. I'd say 75% of my husband's clothes have an LLBean label.

I get all my ink from people that refill cartridges and sell then on Ebay. My HP printer which I use primarily for coupons and Paypal labels requires 4 color & 1 B&W cartridges and I pay about $8.00 - $10.00 for all and have never had any problems.

I went grocery shopping this afternoon and one of the items I bought was a $40.00 beer basket.

I saw that they never charged me for it when I got around to looking at the receipt later on. I was like "SCORE!!" :happyface

I bought The Evil Within (PS3) from GameStop.

I was really looking forward to playing it because it's from Shinji Mikami, the creator of Resident Evil.

The storyline didn't grab me and the gameplay itself wasn't so good. I also beat it in a few hours, very short game.

Do you have a Big Lots near you? They're only .50 cents each there. The stores here got black raspberry, orange mango, peach tea, & mango tea. I didn't care for the tea at all because like the strawberry/kiwi it has a medicine taste.

But now with the internet, we don't subscribe to a newspaper, and the two Markets I go to have the club cards, so I buy what is on sale. But of course I don't save all that much, like you do. I need to really know how to do it and get started. ;)

oh yeah there are sometimes issues....for example last week I was at walmart and had a coupon and it expired 2/15/15...and my cashier said it was expired and that they couldn't take it...I fought back and she got a manager and I was right...yeah couponing is sometimes hard and a hassle but to me its soooo worth it to save the money.

sure I can give you some pointers....I do use coupons from the net...and I get the Sunday paper...the Sunday paper to me is still the best place to get coupons....I study all the ads and put together scenarios....and I not only shop at grocery stores but drug stores and hardware stores too...the hardware stores sell food and take coupons too..win win.....I also sign up for the all the rewards programs like coke rewards, kelloggs family rewards, fresh express rewards...those generate awesome coupons.......I have helped a lot of family and friends get started couponing.....soo if you ever want to talk about couponing or have any questions...lets talk....I could talk couponing forever.
