Its a good show...not as good as Dallas but still very good. Then they replaced her with Emma Samms...Thats when it JTS.

Best Of The West was a great show. It was a satire of the old west. It only lasted a year though. Of course if it lasted longer then Joel Higgins wouldn't have been able to do Silver Spoons.

That thing with Lorelai and Luke at the beginning of tonight's GG episode was freaky as hell. I was never really beaten up too bad but there was one time in 5th grade where this ******* hurt me pretty bad. I made cookies in home ec and the teacher gave everyone cookie jars. I was walking home from school and this kid wanted a cookie and I wouldn't give him one so he tried to take the cookie jar and I ended up getting hit in the mouth. Man that hurt, there was blood all over the place. He never messed with me again though. The next day, my dad went to the bus stop and yelled at him, he was scared ****less.

Yea I remember in some classes we had a Christmas tree and in Elementary school we exchanged presents. We drew names and then we were told to spend only a certain amount of money. Usually the presents were cheap looking. Oh yea and usually the last day before Christmas break was a half day so we'd have a Christmas party.

Yeh, see dawsongirl's weather thread, I posted a picture. Right now, it's snowing even harder than before, the ground is completely covered in snow and it's blowing REALLY hard outside. It's actually pretty normal up here in the upper Midwest... the first snow usually occurs before the end of October, then doesn't snow again for a while and it starts snowing again, this time more often in November. Last year, the first snow was on October 15th or 17th and that was it until, I think, December.

By the weekend, the temps will be in the 60's again.

I hate the way the system is set up here. We have two different bus systems and I don't like this one. My teachers never really decorated their rooms for the holidays. Only a handful of them did. I remember my 8th grade English teacher would get her room totally decked out for the holidays...She did it every month for whatever holiday was that month, too. My favorite had to be Christmas. When I say she totally decked out her room for Christmas, I really mean it. She hung silver/gold garland from the ceiling, put up a Christmas tree in one corner of the room, took everything off her bulletin boards and covered the boards in metallic wrapping paper (the solid color kind) and she even covered her door, both inside and out with the same metallic wrapping paper. Then she would put up many different Christmas pictures around the room. It always felt like Christmas every time you walked into her room. It was hard not to get into the Christmas spirit when she threw hot chocolate parties every week, too. :biglove:

Hehe, nice :D

My vacation day from school isn't until November 11...but that is a Friday and I don't have Friday classes...SOOOOO my next definite vacation break is Thanksgiving break. My school's last day of school before Xmas break is December 16 but depending on finals, I might be out earlier than that. :D We have a lot more breaks the spring semester, including a spring break. I get to go to NYC on my spring break :D

That fool we call Principal

Also, we cant go on field trips unless the teacher drives the bus. The last field trip I went on was towards the end of 5th grade (2003)
Yea I never met a nice principal before. In fact usually we had to deal with the vp because the Principal was locked in his air conditioned office.
