Cactus Jack 10-10-2005, 09:41 PM I strated on a third draft of my script last night, this will be the keeper
I thought of this really funyn idea ,ok there's a scene where they are audtioning singers for the party , its one of the scenes in the movie , and these two guys audition named Seymour, they are gay and they sing like a boy band and they sing a song called " Si Amor" that they made up, which in english means Yes Love, but its hilarious cause theyre saying Si Amor and also "OUR NAAAAAAAAAAMES OUR SEEEEEEEEEY-MOOOOOOOOURRRRR" THE WHOLE SONG now if that doesnt make anyone LTAO , then you must have a different sense of humor, just picture a two person gay boy band singing it REALLY badly
Nighthawk76 10-10-2005, 09:42 PM Actually the state I found to be the most boring (sorry Jack) is Texas.

It really matters on what part of California. I mean in San Diego, majority of the people are nice and that goes for Orange County. There are a lot of nice people in the L.A. area, but then again, I personally think the rudest people are in the northern part of the state like in San Jose. They mentioned San Francisco are being one of the rudest cities, and I disagree, the people there are very warm. And Los Angeles was also on that list. L.A. is very populated..but I even found people that live in the rich areas like Brentwood, Beverly Hills to be considerate.

I have not been to Texas in years and years. This summer I am planning to take a trip across the US and to visit states that I have never been to before. There is one part of this great country that I would like to see, and that is the state of Michigan..why Michigan you ask? well, it is the birth place of my mom, and I woud like to visit her hometown; also I would love to see Mount. Rushmore in South Dakota...then there is Oregon. I would not mind moving to that state. I love it up there, I also love New Mexico and Colorado (even more than California)...

I was in Detroit over a year ago...I had a layover when I was coming home from London.
Hands down, Detroit Metro is the WORST airport I have been to. EVER. My god... A$$hole City. :wallbang I had all the luck in the world of having to go through customs there because it was the first airport in the US we touched down into after leaving England. God...Customs took a gazillion years to complete. Then we had to walk f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get to our gate, which seemed to be at the other end of the airport. My god...There were soooo many people running in and out in front of me. Hello, a$$hole, I just got off an EIGHT HOUR flight from London, and I have to lug my luggage with me...Kindly get the hell out of my way. :cuss: I had an idiot of a pilot too...I sat on the plane for 45 minutes because he said he wanted to wait for 20 more minutes for the rest of the passengers to get on the plane before he flew us to Minneapolis. My god...His "wise" decision cost us our next layover in Minneapolis! When we got to the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport, we had to SPRINT to get to the final gate that would take us home. We just barely made it...Dumb pilot.
I didn't even HAVE to be IN the actual city itself to declare it one of the worst cities I have ever visited. :thumbsdow
I just hope I don't have any trouble when I go to the JFK airport in NYC in the spring...

Long Beach is a deverse population of many races and cultures. But in general the people there are okay, Los Angeles is not a laid back city. People are always in a hurry and are aggressive; remember Los Angeles is densely populated..the second largest city in the US after New York. But, I think you will find that majority of the people are very nice. (Unless you are driving on the freeways)

Oh yea I remember that. Its hard to take Seattle serious as a real good team though since they play in the NFC Worst and can't win on the road.

Crap. :faint: THAT is scary. omg:
I don't have any cousins that were born the year I graduated (2003) but I have twin cousins that were born in February 2002, during my junior year. And I have another one that was born late last year...October 2004, I think. Right now, I think the youngest cousin I have that is in school is in kindergarten this year... Just started. He was born in 2000 and it freaks the hell out of me to think that kids born in THIS decade are in school now.
I mean, hell, the 1992-born posters didn't start kindergarten until I was in...*gulp* junior high. God, has it been nearly 10 years since I went to junior high??

Nighthawk76 10-11-2005, 08:04 PM surely you've seen the Carol Burnett show?
No, I haven't
As Jack says, I'm not really a big sitcoms fan. There are some sitcoms I like, but not many.

Why not a big sitcoms fan?
Nighthawk76 10-11-2005, 08:12 PM Why not a big sitcoms fan?
I don't think 23 minutes (minus commercials) is a long enough time to tell a story. I also have a "different' sort of sense of humor so I don't find most sitcoms to even be funny. I think most sitcoms have really bad acting. I know many people loved Everybody Loves Raymond, but I thought Ray Romano was a dreadful actor. I also hate the laugh tracks. I don't need to be told when something is funny.
Nighthawk76 10-11-2005, 08:13 PM omg:  :eek2: :faint: Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?! I've had her in my avatar a MILLION times :faint:

The first report of such a call came in 1995, in Devil's Lake, N.D.;
THAT'S WHERE I USED TO LIVE! I was living there at that time in 1995! Ah, Hicksville....
"Did the manager tell a whopper?" a newspaper headline in Fargo, N.D., asked after the manager of a Burger King there insisted that he thought it was a police officer who had told him over the phone on Jan. 20, 1999, to slap a 17-year-old employee on her naked buttocks.
"It's just not conceivable to me that there's any reasonable justification for what happened," a North Dakota state judge said as she sentenced the manager to 30 days in jail for disorderly conduct.
Makes me happy I don't eat at fast food places here now.

I just finished up to February 1976, so no not yet. I still have 1977, 1978, 1979 and the 90's to do.
PZelda 10-11-2005, 11:33 PM Those covers came out the day I turned 18 in 2003. They were the August 16-22, 2003 covers.
All of the US got the first cover, except for the Los Angeles area. They got the 2nd cover that was only released in that area. It was too racy for the rest of the US, I guess.
How fitting that Paige Davis was on the cover and right on my birthday too.

I got the WBK TV Guide from I think March 1976. I got that when we were in Myrtle Beach. Thats the only TV Guide from the 70's I have.

Yeah I know, which is why it makes me crack up. She actually was nekkid under that wallpaper on the 2nd cover, I heard. It was in her book, which I have (Paige by Paige).
I heard it being too racy was the reason why they didn't evenly distribute that cover with the rest of the green covers in the US. *shrugs*
