I missed it when it aired on WGN (sadly). My heart threatened to jump clear out of my chest when I landed on the Sci-Fi Channel that afternoon. It was kinda mean of them to have it on when the movie came out in theaters, only to take away yet again. Won't get my hopes too high up, but it's back on so I'm happy.

If i remember correctly it aired on WGN in the early to mid 80's. I think it aired back to back with Charlie's Angels.

I get to go to Colorado to see my sister, brother-in-law, and niece. Then my family has made plans to go to Las Vegas and spend two nights there. This is awesome. Great way to end a school year.

I am also surprised that I read through the episode guide of the Carol Burnett Show that Vicki didn't sing "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" on the show. That song was a huge hit,not only in the United States,but in Australia as well. It even sold 2 million copies. I don't know if you are familiar with Reba McEntire because she remade that song back in 1992.

I wonder if Vicki ever appeared on the 70's version of Hollywood Squares. They showed that on the Game Show Network for a while.

I wish Vicki's album was on CD!!

I know that they have dug up some rare albums that have come to CD and hopefully someday Vicki's album will come out on CD with some bonus tracks and an interview from Vicki herself.

About 10 years ago,she appeared on the Statler Brothers Show on TNN and did a comedy bit as herself and then she sang "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" and nobody appaulded at the beginning,because that was a huge song.

I think it is against the law to sell TV episodes that came off of regular television.

Actually,I wish that The Courtship Of Eddie's Father would come on DVD(The TV Series). I don't know if MGM,the distributor of the show has ever had DVD of TV shows in their collection.

I really haven't seen to many episodes of it. When Bill Bixby died I think it was TNT that had a few episodes on and it was on another Cable channel in the 90's. I think it was the channel that became the Hallmark Channel. It aired in the afternoon and I only saw it a few times there.

My mom had hair like that when I was a little girl, and for hours I'd stand there and brush it. Then I'd braid it for her.. I agree, hers was very beautiful. :)

Soap is a great show. I don't know why TV Land never airs the whole series when they even air it at all.

It's not necessarily wrong.. I mean, it's bound to happen. Just a really big pain in the butt. It's happened to me a number of times, and that's when I step back and try not to be too sensitive about things. Being here on the boards after a hard day (just being here period) does a lot of good. Especially when we're all hanging out together.

I've been fighting the temptation to break out my home video from 1990 with footage of her on it...because I know it's just gonna make it worse... Her birthday would've been June 13th and that's next month. THIS ROYALLY SUCKS BIG TIME. Why did she have to pass away?!

I went to this festival called the "Fiesta de Los Penasquitos" yesterday. It was really hot and I've hot a sunburn on my shoulders and neck. I had a good time, though.

I liked Maude. One of my favorite episodes was "Walter's Stigma", where Walter is arrested for lewd behavior and his alibi was that he was at a Donald Duck film festival.

Just saw the end of Season 2 the other day; the episode they used to spin-off Maude was a scream: Archie nearly getting trapped into attending the bridal shower and then inadvertantly (sp?) putting a wrench into the engagement...:
Fav moment? Maude lets Edith in and then slams the door on Archie and his present.:lol:

I've seen almost every episode of that show when it aired on TV Land. I like the part in the episode "Felix the Calypso Singer" where Felix opens a suitcase that Oscar hadn't unpacked for over a year or so. He sees a present and he asks, "What is this?" Oscar then says, "It's your Christmas present I got for you last year. Merry Christmas." Felix replies, "What is it?" Oscar responds, "Assorted cheeses." Then Felix honks. That part makes me laugh every time I see it or think of it. :lol:

I'm waiting {im}patiently myself. Actually it was my mom who got me into watching AITF; she picked up Season 1, we watched the whole thing a couple of episodes per night, and I liked it enough to get Season 2.

Oh, and what's this I hear about Soap Season 2 coming out?
