ESPN just announced they won't be doing a season 2 of Playmakers, but season 1 will be coming out soon on dvd.

Due on April 20th from ESPN Video is the controversial football series Playmakers. This three-disc set will feature all eleven first season episodes in 1.78 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital audio. Extras include audio commentaries, deleted scenes and outtakes. Retail is $49.99.
