Hello, all.
![]() I thought this was a really good episode, but it seems like every week is a really good episode. This show is getting really good.It was a good change of pace to do a case like this...one that was closed that Monk had to reopen because he knew something was wrong. Very clever. Two thumbs up!~Lauren

I especially liked the end where that fan told Monk that if he got a tv show, that he shouldn't change his theme song and as the show went off the old theme song was played.
Monk keeps getting better and better.

I just started watching this show. I like it but I think the mysterious are pretty weak. As soon as the guy walked back into the house, I knew he had killed his wife.

![]() Yeah, but I think you were supposed to know he killed her. The mystery was the part with the soundtrack dubbing and the TV volume. This was actually one of the easiest mysteries so far. ![]() ~Lauren

Monk seems to have broken tradition of the other "mystery" shows in the sense that most of the time, the viewers and Monk knows who the killer is. The mystery isn't who did it, but how they did it.

Monk is a good character well-written and well-acted and proves violence isn't always the solution!!

Monk kind of reminds me of MacGyver!! You don't have to have guns and/or too much violence to solve a crime. I love the fact that he can solve crimes with his mind and his intelligence!

Hi all,
Like every episode of this series, I loved this one! The parodying of "C.S.I." was brilliant, the scene about the 6th grade party and his psychiatrist was both sad and hysterical, and the little teasing about the theme song was wonderful. If there was one thing, however, that didn't make sense in this episode it was that Monk would never open his front door to somebody knocking on it at midnight without even first looking though the peephole at least. Was he supposed to be sleepwalking at that moment? Later, Art |

I liked Sarah Silverman in this episode.
She's a very funny performer. I hope her character returns. Perhaps she could become Monk's #1 fan?
