Sad Very lame show!!!

Why in the world would one look fondly back on the A-Team? This show was about as childish as it could get. I'm sure George Peppard was ashamed that he even did this garbage. He must have needed money something awful. Seriously folks, I loved the eighties, but this show was really poor. Mr. T was a sad joke. And how many times can you jump cars off of ramps and still be interesting? They were supposed to be so professional at military weaponry yet I recall seeing a Ruger mini-14 being used! No special forces or "A" team guy would EVER use that level of firearm.
Sorry, but this show needs to stay in the can.

This show was one of the best shows ever made and certainly one of the best shows from the 1980's.

This show was supposed to be "CHESSY"; I personally thought Mr. T was hilarious and was the highlight of the show...

Wow,
You two above give reason why so much of TV is so very poor. If this show was put into book form it would be a comic book.
Pure garbage and of low quality.

I liked it until they got rid of Amy and then got rid of Tawnia so quickly. After she left the show I stopped watching due to the reasoning behind letting her go.

The show didn't take itself seriously, it was fun to watch and as Mrs. R.N.HARRIS said, it was supposed to be cheesy. One show I will always look back on fondly.

What is your deal bro, did you leave in the eighties everything in the eighties was corny come on. And your thing on the weapons, they were wanted men, they did have access to the standard speical forces guns in junk. and I dont care how many times in a show they jump a car off a ramp I guess it just the guy in me. the thing is in watching the a team is you have to use the part of your brain called imagination. so what I gather from your mindless rant is A) You did not live in the 80's or you lack the open minded mentally it took to take the show for what it was a 30 min action/comedy.

I liked this show!
Some good episodes, enjoyed Murdock's craziness and Hannibal's humor.
This show was something different.
And, as mr roper said, there's nothing as near as entertaining on TV today.

I never liked the show, but liked the character Mr.T .
I could not believe that the show was one of the best from the 1980's.
Then, to my disbelief, I found it to be true.
The A-Team is ranked at number forty-three.
I would have thought it would had been ranked over 80.
It is more popular then The Duke of Hazzard, which is ranked at forty-six.

As someone who actually grew up watching this show in the '80s, I may be biased, but yes- I think The A-Team is awesome! I loved this show as a kid andI still love watching it now. And it's WAY better than 99% of what's on TV today.
Keep in mind that this show was intended to be comedic to begin with- hence the over the top "corniness". (Though it can be argued that the show actually got too serious about itself by the 5th. season.) But all throughout the series, I love it. I love it when a plan comes together! (And no, I'm not on the jazz when I say that.)
Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, Lt. Templeton "Faceman/Face" Peck, Sgt. Bosco "B.A. (Bad Attitude)" Barracus and of course, Captain "H.M. (Howling Mad)" Murdock- love this crew.
(And I can't forget Amy "Triple A" Amanda Allen and Frankie "Dishpan" Santana. (I don't really count General Hunt Stockwell as part of the team exactly- more like someone they were kinda forced into working for in the last season- so a grudging partnership.)

Each episode was a different case with a different set of circumstances. With the A-Team every week was them taking job, looking like they had won only to get caught and tied up or locked in a barn or shed alone were they were able to make some kind of over the top weapon to beat the bad guy.
