Did anyone hear what Don Knotts said when he was on the show? All I heard was something about him knowing all along that John(Paul) was fruity or something like that but then I didn't hear what he said after that!! Thanks!!

He said, "I always thought you were a little fruity. Well, you'd better nip it . . . nip it in the bud!"

In a way, a bit of a knock-off of the last scene in the final episode of "Newhart" , but I thought it was a very nice touch for that episode.
