Full House never aired on the wb. They were going to pick the show up for another season until John Stamos said that he was leaving the show.

I often wonder what it would have been like, but without Jesse it would have sucked imo.

The 8th season finale had to be reshot to be a series finale. If you'll notice, the show went on about a 7-week hiatus while that was happening.

As I said in the trivia from the last couple of months of the "Full Day of Full House" marathon, John Stamos does not come back to season 9.

I heard that Warner Bros. wanted to move Full House to The WB was because Disney bought the ABC network. And since Full House was big in the ratings, they wanted it to be The WB's flagship series. But John Stamos refused to do the show if it moved to The WB because it was a new network and he felt it was beneath him.
