The Xmen cartoon in the 1980's was a one shot deal pilot episode called "Pryde of the Xmen" after that they never made any more Xmen cartoons in the 1980's. They had 2 episodes of Spiderman and His Amazing Friends where they appeared but as far as I know that was it for the 1980's. You might be thinking about the Xmen TAS series that was done in the 1990's. This was a 77 episode series that orginally aired on Fox network. If that is what your after I transfered this series to DVD and added the 1980's pilot to the 4th DVD. I have this for trade or sale if you need it. Email me at moviedude25@hotmail.com for more information.

I'm interested in your x-men dvds, I was pretty sure there was a series in the 80's, it was on after spiderman and friends, some of the episodes had spiderman and captian america team up with the x-men.

Jimstryper,
Get back to me about these DVD's. I'll trade them for any VHS tapes I need. Check out this link: http://www.pazsaz.com/xmen.html Here is what they say about the Xmen Cartoon from the 1980's Quote:

I thought I only had 3 seasons of X-Men and found out I had all 5 seasons / 76 episodes, so everything is cool.

The only 1980s appearances of the X Men were in Spiderman and his Amazing friends, I believe they are only in one or two episodes. I have the remastered UK dvd set (has yet and will most likely never be released in the US) I will check when I am home and confirm how many episodes they appear in.
Then there is the 1988 pilot "Pryde of the Xmen" which was broadcast on TV occassionally as part of "The Marvel Action Universe" block as well as a VHS release. I also have this pilot as broadcast during the Marvel AU block with original commercials and the official VHS release. |
