Lucy decides that their unborn child should have artistic leanings, so she takes up
sculpting. Salesmen in an art supply store put her to work on a lump of clay and she
uses the Mertzes as models for a modernistic creation. The climax comes when art
critics haud her weird effort as a masterpiece.
4:00PM I Love Lucy #80 – Ricky Minds the Baby
Ricky changes his vacation plans so he can spend all his time with Little Ricky. Lucy uses her free time to go shopping, but when she returns she find Little Ricky wandering the hallway by himself. Ricky and Fred have been so involved in a TV football game, the hadn't noticed him wander off. To teach Ricky a lesson, Lucy phones her husband and nonchalantly asks about Little Ricky. Panic sets in when the father realizes his son is missing.
4:30PM I Love Lucy #104 – Ricky’s Screen Test
The term "help-mate" takes on a new meaning with the appearance of Lucy on a Hollywood movie lot. The cameras roll for Ricky's screen test but when the big moment arrives Lucy takes the cue.

~ How dare they put "Get Smart", "Batman", "Superman", and "The Bob Newhart Show" on hiatus

~ They shoulda made an effort to keep "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" on the air

~ Nice to see "Gilligan" gone from twice as nice but they've already ran "Gidget" into the ground, "Happy Days" should stay

~ I like "Jeannie" and "Bewitched" moving to 3PM & 6PM

~ No primetime slot or launch event for "Mister Ed" ?

~ I'm surprised to only see a 1PM airing of "Bonanza" but that's alright

~ Nice to see "WKRP" in the Kitschen and "Hazel"/"Father Knows Best" remaining on BLTT

~ Box Sets and Emmy Week look cool

~ "Bewitched" and "Jeannie" must be doing well since they're still getting 4 times a day airings

~ Overall, the schedule is much worse than it currently is and I need to enjoy "Get Smart", "Batman", "Superman", "Bob Newhart", and "Mary Tyler Moore" as much as possible

- I didn't expect for WRKP in Cincinatti to be added to the schedule, it's been a long time since it aired on Nick at Nite, I always thought it would fit perfectly onto their schedule.
- It was about time that Soap got the boot, they've been airing the same episodes OVER and OVER again, I also thought it was a smart move because it will be coming to DVD this September.
- I'm surprised Tabitha and Gidget, (but no Flying Nun?) will be returning, I'm anxious to see both of them again.
- I'm dissapointed that many of the shows in the late-night time-slots will be on hiatus, especially Batman, The Adventures of Superman and Charlie's Angels. I also hope that Get Smart will return, I know TV Land will lose the rights this year, so hopefully they will renew it.
- Why is TV Land putting Gidget in a "Twice as Nice" block?
- I'm glad The Love Boat has returned back to the schedule, but not at 5:00AM.

Hi all,
I think it's nice to see that somebody at TVLand finally took the time to sit down and put some thought into a schedule that:


1) Keeps *almost* everything on the current schedule seen -- even if only once or twice a week.

2) Includes a few nice new additions.

3) Gives the ax to a bare minimum.


I can't help but wonder, though, is there some kind of law which states that TVLand absolutely MUST give 2 hours out of every day to "Gunsmoke"? I might be wrong, but I can't help but feel that most of us here might be a lot happier if it weren't for that.

I'm happy about the addition of "Bonanza," only because of one specific episode I've been dying to see again since the night it first aired in 1973. I just hope I live long enough for them to get through the hundreds of episodes that came before it and will, most likely, come before it on TVLand. I'm also glad I have as many "Batmans" as I do on tape!

And I'm glad they're adding "WKRP" to the "Kitshen". I've always thought that it would fit in perfectly there!

Why "Gidget" again? It was nice to see it the 1st time but they've aired just about every episode 20 thousand times.Why don't they just get to other shows that many people haven't seen in a while.Double Trouble? Get A Life? Rhoda? Ladies' Man? Those shows haven't been run in YEARS! They need to get air time!

Well, "Gidget" should not be on "Twice As Nice".
It would be better if it 's on 7:30 PM or something.

I'm still waiting for the show to come out on DVD.

It's a good thing for fans that want to tape the episodes they missed or want to tape again.

Why not "Flying Nun" on 'Twice As Nice' instead?
That show lated a good 82 episodes.
Who cares if Sally Field hates it. Madonna hates her old material and VH1 Classic still jam 'em on their airplay. (BTW, I'm an old skool Madonna fan )

Or just keep "Charlie's Angels"...to replace "Fantasy Island".

I always liked "WKRP . . . " But, if asked to choose between *it* and "Soap," I'd definitely pick "Soap."

After another look at the schedule, it seems to me that an hour a day -- 6 days a week is a bit too much for "Gidget." It was a cute little show, but in my opinion, it belongs in the Kitschen.
