Okay everyone,
I don't know if this is bugging anyone else but I remember the days (not too far behind us) when DW used to be on 3 different times during the day; once early morning (8-9am), one late afternoon (5:30-6:30ish pm) and late night (12-1am). I just looked at the Lifetime schedule because I am away from home and I haven't been able to find DW here, so I looked one LifetimeTV.com and sure enough, DW is now only showing at 8-9am and that's IT! Now, maybe I'm being irrational, but DW is my favorite show and it angers me immensely that they have cut it from three hours a day to a measly one. Well I took it upon myself to e-mail lifetime and ask them what the deal is and I also made it a point to ask if they plan on taking the show off their schedule all together anytime soon. I am curious to see if they will reply The point to my schpiel is, if you feel the same way I do about the show, can you do me a favor and drop dear ole lifetime a line too? The URL to the comment form is: http://www.lifetimetv.com/about/write.html Please reply here if you agree with me and/or e-mail the network. Thanks all! ALSO, If you like Dixie Carter (Julia Sugarbaker herself) I found you can get an e-mail addy at www.ilovedixiecarter.zzn.com! Ciao!

Yeah, this bothers me too...it used to be a late-night summertime tradition for me to watch Golden Girls and DW into the early morning hours, now it's hardly on...now while I don't dislike "The Nanny" or anything, I don't find it nearly as entertaining as DW. I actually thought that Nanny would have the same fate as Murphy Brown - Lifetime would run the show incessantly and then bam! it would totally disappear from the schedule, but I guess Nanny is getting not too shabby ratings for Lifetime, which is why they're running it in place of DW's former slots. I just hope that they come to their senses and put DW on at least more than once a day, or once a day at a better hour at least - 8 AM is like the most inconvenient time a show could be run - everyone's busy getting ready for work & school that there's no time for TV...anyway, I agree - it's too bad...DW is such a great show...

Lifetime is showing too much Mad ABout You and The Nanny. Hopefully they'll drop at least one of those like they did Murphy Brown and start playing DW more often than 1 hour at 8 in the morning, and MAYBE it'll finally come out on DVD.

I didn't think I was the only one who noticed. I have to get at seven thirty now to watch DW (It's worth it.). I think Lifetime should do one or both of two things: Play Golden Girls less in the morning (I love GG as much as DW, but I've seen all the eps of GG already, and Lifetime is in serious danger of running it into the ground), or take off their friggin' movies in the afternoon and go back to the old schedule!

It's not even one hour anymore. It's one episode at 8:30 now. They're playing Caroline in the City at 8 am. That show always grated my nerves.
