It didn't hit me until just now that the original airdate for that particular episode was December 9, 1980, the very day after John Lennon was assassinated. John Ritter in real life, was a huge Beatles fan. If you look at Jack Tripper's bedroom, then you'll see a stylized Beatles poster on the wall:

I am confused. Are you saying John put the poster up in honor of John? If the episode aired the day or day after he was killed then that would not be possible? They reshot the scene the day before it aired?
I swear seeing the Beatles poster in Jack's room earlier than December 1980. I just don't get the connection of what you are saying? |

Wow ! The one ad that caught me off guard was the Burger King ad. I had no idea Burger King sold roast beef at one time. That's about as odd as McDonald's ever selling suicidal hot chicken wings.
