I recently read this discussion about how Jesse and Becky never truly seemed right as a couple when you really think about it. This is despite the fact that John Stamos and Lori Loughlin admittedly, had really great chemistry. But still, didn't it seem like once Jesse got married to Becky, he was trying to be everything all at once: Husband, father, uncle, homemaker, musician, bread winner? And yet he was always dropping the ball somewhere. Jesse couldn't be completely content with the idea of his wife being the actual breadwinner and provider in the relationship.

I have to disagree somewhat. I do agree that Jesse was never truly okay with Becky being the one with a steady income in the household. But I disagree that Jesse got worse after getting together with her. He was very childish and irresponsible, and Becky fixed that behavior for the most part. Once Jesse became a husband, and then a father, his personality improved for the better.
