When it comes to products that are iconic in history they usually need something eye-catching to help the products sell which is why mascots are there to catch people's eyes to get the products. But i'll admit some of these mascots are weird that they look shocking to people. Take for instance Post Honeycomb Cereal debuted the mascot The Honeycomb Craver and he would appear in the Honeycomb Cereal commercials demanding his famous "Me Want Honeycomb chant" and you can see why that mascot didn't last long because I guess Post thought it was creepy and the chant got really annoying after you saw the Honeycomb commercial a dozen times. Another weird food mascot that I don't know why or how Nabisco came up with it was The Nabisco Thing and I thought it looked weird when I would see it and it was a yellow body with 90's clothing and the top of the head was the Nabisco logo and why Nabisco came up with this mascot is a mystery? Another Nabisco weird mascot was the ! symbol of Chips Ahoy and why they made this mascot is another mystery because if you watched the Chips Ahoy commercials the ! mascot is creepy because all it did was dance to Benny Goodman's hit Sing Sing Sing and why Nabisco thought that this mascot would help sell Chips Ahoy cookies i'll never figure out
