In all honesty if there was an award show for commercial mascots The Noid from Domino's Pizza would win the "Most oddest mascot ever award" and I don't know how Domino's Pizza came up with The Noid as it's mascot in the first place? But when he first made his debut in Domino's Pizza commercials in 1986 Domino's Pizza knew that this clever fella would fast become a celebrity and The Noid was an attractive way to market Domino's Pizza and if you look at the commercials with The Noid you can see that they were funny and clever. And judging how well these commercials became a huge hit for Domino's Pizza it helped boost The Noid's celebrity status even more and soon he was seen on kids clothing plushies video games and more merchandise and Domino's Pizza knew that having a clever and funny mascot worked for them as a way to sell pizzas. Though The Noid retired in 1992 Domino's Pizza tried developing other mascots for their commercials but they couldn't compare with The Noid. But it would be cool if Domino's Pizza revived The Noid commercials someday in the future but they would probably make a computer animated Noid for the new commercials if The Noid were to make a comeback someday soon
