Erin Murphy Hints at Exciting Projects to Come With Billy Corgan

Erin Murphy — yes, little Tabitha Stephens from Bewitched — just dropped a photo with Billy Corgan, and we have questions. The former child star shared a snapshot with the Smashing Pumpkins frontman on Instagram in March 2026, and based on her caption, there’s some big things brewing.

Murphy’s caption made it clear she’s a genuine fan of the rocker. “Answer to today’s question: Billy Corgan, lead singer of the Smashing Pumpkins and one of the coolest, smartest, most interesting people ever!” she wrote. “Looking forward to sharing our interview and future collaborations. ❤️#billycorgan #smashingpumpkins.” Her followers were right there with her. “Billy’s doing a lot of great things this year 👏👏,” one person commented. “That’s Awesome 🙌” a second person said, while a third kept it simple: “Fantastic!!”

Hours before posting the photo, Murphy had already been building anticipation. She told her followers she was heading out to meet someone big. “Hey guys, I am on my way to do an interview with a very, very famous lead singer to what I would call an alternative rock band,” she teased.

The Smashing Pumpkins connection runs deep for Murphy. She said she loves the band and saw them in concert back in the ’90s. Four of her kids caught a show last year, too. She didn’t reveal specifics about what the collaborations might look like, but she mentioned both an interview and future projects — so fans may want to keep an eye on her Instagram feed.

Erin Murphy’s ‘Bewitched’ Roots Run Deep

Murphy played Tabitha Stephens, the young daughter of Samantha and Darrin Stephens, on the classic sitcom Bewitched from 1966 to 1972, appearing in over 100 episodes. Since then, she’s raised six sons across three marriages and become a grandmother of five. “After Bewitched, it was great to lead a normal life. Motherhood is a hectic juggling act, but I’m now back working in the biz,” she told New Idea in March 2026.

And she means it. Murphy has been vocal since Deadline announced in November 2025 that Fox has put in development a reboot of Bewitched — an hour-long reimagining from writer/executive producer Judalina Neira and executive producer Doug Robinson and Sony Pictures Television. Murphy said that she was “excited” about the new version of the show.
