And is this list of "The BEST episodes of Growing Pains" legit?

The fact that the first two seasons are viewed as the worst and by season 4 it had already dropped out of the top-10 shows tells you something.

This show was not very good, people that grew up on it remember it sure back in the 1980's there were only three networks and families just left on whatever network to pass the time but nobody claims to list it as their favorite TV show.

The writing is very saccharine it wanted to be like the "white" version of The Cosby Show and it really didn't hit it's peak until season 3 and 4 but even then there aren't many memorable moments that is until many years later when TV historians bring up future Hollywood star Leonardo DiCapprio got his start here and the noteworthy episode of Carol's boyfriend played by Matthew Perry dying from a car accident.
