"When Calls the Heart" has been renewed for Season 14 at Hallmark Channel.

Production will begin next year with an anticipated return in 2027.

“Since the series’ debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties,” Michelle Vicary, head of programming at Hallmark Media, said in a statement.

“At its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of ‘When Calls the Heart.’ We felt that Season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail’s story with her return to this beloved series.”

Lori Loughlin to return to When Calls the Heart for the first time since her firing in 2019 over college admissions scandal

Original cast member Loughlin will reprise her Abigail Stanton in Season 14, seven years after she was written off following her involvement in the college admissions scandal. “Since the series’ debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties,” Michelle Vicary, Hallmark Media’s head of programming, tells People in a statement. “At its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of When Calls the Heart.
