^^^ Nothing against Brad of course, but I don't think that a show about Robert would've flown that far, especially if the other family members were not going to be included.

Phil Rosenthal on the pressure of writing a final episode

Rosenthal admitted that a bad finale could ruin a series.

Series creator Phil Rosenthal had this to say to fans who believed that Ray Romano was simply ''playing himself'' in Everybody Loves Raymond

"He’s so good you can’t see it."

The writers of Everybody Loves Raymond would frequently receive phone calls from family members they had written into the show

"The truth is that the characters do things that a lot of people do."

Ray Romano helped Brad Garrett rediscover his love for stand-up comedy

The two actors were also friends off-screen.

Patricia Heaton on starring in Everybody Loves Raymond: ''It's a pleasure to go to work every day.''

Sure, everybody might not have loved Ray Barone, but they certainly loved the sitcom.
