This is a smart move on NBC's part because I think people are expecting Wicked For Good to become a hit and by airing Wicked on NBC before Wicked For Good debuts in theaters means the film will be successful. Because Wicked was a hit last year people will hope Wicked For Good will do the same. Because people love Wicked and it has a huge fanbase people will get the chance to see Wicked on NBC first so they know what will happen in Wicked For Good
